I love the team at Balm! They have created a welcoming and comfortable environment to come and relax for services. Brittany is amazing and she makes sure that clients leave there looking and feeling like queens. I can’t recommend them enough, of the many services I’ve had there, I’ve never been disappointed.

I went to Balm to get a lash lifted and tinted - I fell in love with this service! It made my lashes look so long and I didn’t have to use a eyelash curler Andy longer. My lashes are naturally blonde but I left with darker tinted lashes which also made me stop using mascara! Highly recommended! I also did a facial that was so great for a skin reset and picked up some perfect products from them as well! Not to mention their stuff is amazing, passionate and dedicated to making sure everyone leaves satisfied!!

I just tried Balm for the first time and I loved it! I have been going to a different place for my brows for years but my gal moved to a different city so I decided to try something new. Jess did an amazing job on my brows and I will definitely be going back!

I went in for a brow lamination and lash lift. I was happy with my results at first, but three weeks after if you look closely at my brow hair and lashes they are fried. My brows are frizzy and still require a heavy gel to stay in the shape I want them to. My eyelashes on my right eye stick out every which way and are curling back in on themselves in places. I can hear how dry my lashes are when I touch them. I’ve had lash lifts before and this has never happened. If you have fine hair I would recommend testing the chemicals used here on a small patch before going all in.

I love the Balm!!! The atmosphere is wonderful, it is clean and everyone is always kind. The services I’ve had are always well done. I would not go anywhere else.

I got my lash extensions done here in September. She did a great job, but I ended up getting a chemical burn on my eye that was pretty painful for a few days. That’s ok, it happens and it healed- not at all mad about that, but for eye safety I figured I shouldn’t continue to get lash extensions thereafter. I had signed up for the Balm monthly lash program at that first visit and called to cancel. I was told the enrollment was canceled and the manager would call me about it, but neither of those things turned out to be true. After several more attempts to contact them and get refunded within >2 months, I still have $198 worth of charges. Hence, the 1 star review for very poor customer service.**Review Update** The manager called me after seeing the review, gave me a refund, apologized and offered a facial to make up for it. Customer service lapsed but is improving immensely, so I updated to 4 stars.

I was desperate to get some help with my skin, and I landed on Balm after looking everywhere for a facial. I wanted something soothing and relaxing, but also something that involved a treatment that would help my skin. I booked their anti-aging facial, Brazilian wax services and brow shaping and tint for the first time. I was very impressed with the space which is clean, minimal and it smells so good! The services exceeded expectations. You just know / see when there is care and a thoughtful process behind how they do things at Balm. The products smelled really nice and all natural! Jess is an awesome aesthetician. I highly recommend Balm and will return here when am back in PDX!

The first thing I noticed about Balm was how clean it was. The energy inside the salon was so calm and inviting! It smelled lovely, and I was greeted with a warm welcome. I had an airbrush tan, and then lash extensions. From start to finish, I felt very comfortable and pampered! The lash technician was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had from her. I left the salon happy, and more beautiful than ever. I’m looking forward to my return appointment at Balm!

Balm is amazing! It is very easy to book an appointment through their online system. The salon is very cute and everyone was very attentive while I was there for a wax. The owner of the salon, Britney, is incredibly thoughtful and has been personally delivering items while we are all stuck at home through quarantine. I told her how my skin was feeling and she made a recommendation of products to use and how to do an at home facial. I cant wait to get back in the salon!

I had a great first time experience at Balm with Mykel! It was the second time Ive had a lash lift. She was on time and very fast. Great conversation and I loved that she didnt try to upset me on products. The last lift I got at a different salon was way too curled and my lashes went into my lids. Mykel gave me a great lift that makes a difference in my lashes but isnt uncomfortable. Will go back again!

Absolutely love Balm! Not only did my waxing appointment go super smoothly, but I found out they carry my favorite skincare line (Eminence) which is an added bonus! Will definitely be returning to this adorable spot!

Maria was so lovely with my lash extensions. It was my first set and I voiced my nervousness to her. She talked me through everything she was doing and I even got so relaxed I dozed a little. I loved the warming bed and the music (and evening asked for the playlist on the way out which the receptionist at the desk was happy to give me!). I scheduled my fill for next month on my way out. I love the text alerts and ease of the online booking process. Such a lovely staff here, I cannot recommend enough! 💖

I received a facial from Jess and it was amazing. I hadn’t received a facial in years and Jess really took care of me and made me feel pampered. I had requested that Jess explain the process as she performed the facial and her presentation was incredibly professional and genuine. My skin is literally glowing and I don’t think I knew what hydrated skin felt like until I went to Balm.

I had lash extensions done multiple times & loved the results every time!The environment was always clean and professional, but also warm and personable. One word.. AMAZING. This was my first ever facial and I was gifted Jess. She was awesome! Thorough yet gentle. Made me feel completely comfortable. I was there mainly because of hormonal acne and she is knowledgeable on that she also recommended a few things that could help me get the best out of my skin for pigmentation problems from the acne. Not pushy, not salesman-sy just so helpful. I will be back!! Also the owner Britney is the sweetest! Shes done incredible things with this place.

I visited Balm for a spray tan, and left beautifully bronzed! The studio has very cozy robes and slippers to change into, the environment was zen and relaxing. All of the staff was very knowledgeable, polite and acknowledged me with a smile. I can’t wait to have more services done there!

I love their spray tans, which is done by hand and I highly recommend, I received one from Britney and was SO happy with it!! The color was a perfect bronze shade and looked very natural like I just got back from a tropical vacation. The girls here are so sweet, professional, and friendly, I cant wait for my next service!

It could’ve been a five star experience if I wasn’t cancelled on the last minute. I have never had lashes done before and I decided to book my very first lash extensions appointment with Balm Lashes. As I got to the location and parked, I get a phone call from the receptionist telling me they are canceling my appointment. It was very frustrating since it took me over 30 minutes to get there and then find parking space. However, they were able to offer me another available time that day but 4 hours later. Overall, I’m not impressed with how they handled this and I’m only happy with my visit because of Maresa. She was lovely and professional, and the end result was what I wanted. Thank you Maresa !
