I started coming here about 6 months ago because I needed an alternative to waxing. Its very easy to schedule appointments with them. Theyre prompt and professional for their services. All of the staff here are extremely friendly and the decor is spot on. The sugaring process for maintenance is quick and painless, Im there for maybe 30 minutes tops. Coming here is a treat for myself every few weeks!

One of the best facials Ive ever had. Annas recommendations were exactly what my skin was needing (signature facial w/ kojic and LED treatments). Gentle yet so effective. My skin is glowing after every visit.

I have come here multiple times over the last 3 years for sugaring, and the service is always very professional and pleasant. The estheticians are very nice and do a really good job. They give good advice on things like upkeep and aftercare, and suggest products while not being pushy about you buying anything at all. I have never had an issue and plan to keep coming back, I much prefer sugar waxing to traditional hard wax.

I was able to choose who I worked with and I chose Case and they are so great!! I am a curvier girl and so sometimes I feel nervous about my body, especially doing a full Brazilian wax, but Case just made me feel so comfortable and we can talk and chat and the time just flies by and I feel great when Im done and I have ZERO complaints. All the staff working here are so helpful and always smiling. I also enjoy the fact that the owner makes skincare products, which I have also purchased, and they are great products for my skin! All in all a great experience here and I recommend them to everyone!!

I saw Jordan for a seasonal facial and it was so relaxing! I left with some great samples of moisturizer and a mask I will likely go back to purchase. Its a little expensive for me but I loved that no one was pressuring me to come in often or to buy any products.

I have been to the Portland Girl twice and both experiences have been wonderful. The first time, was my first ever sugaring and first time with any waxing type service. I got the equivalent of a Brazilian and while it wasn’t “comfortable” it wasn’t terrible as I’d been warned hair removal could be. From start to finish everyone was very kind and professional and I walked out feeling fresh as a daisy. My refresher was only different in that I had significantly less hair to remove so it was faster and less painful. At this rate I have no desire to try waxing, sugaring seems to be the way to go. Next up is my eyebrows and maybe a facial!Case did my honeying and was super pro and put me right at ease.

I went to the Portland girl for the first time for leg sugaring and the signature facial. The atmosphere in there is safe, clean, welcoming and professional. I actually learned so much about my skin during the treatment and also had enough quiet to relax. Received a Bushwhacker from Emma and it was quick (45 minutes start to finish), and considering the service: remarkably not excruciating. Of particular note was how professional and friendly she is! I usually have some kind of intense body anxiety, especially for an intimate service, but I was at ease almost immediately. It was matter of fact, plus-size friendly, and efficient. I cant rave enough!

I am a supporter of small businesses all the way especially ones run by women but after being thrown to the side several times I am no longer a supporter of this small business. Let me first say that they have several times charged me without my consent for a service that I have rescheduled or canceled. Wasn’t a big deal the first time but after been given attitude for their mistake the second and third time I now have a problem. Staff is constantly changing and they move my appointments from a different time than originally scheduled as well as with different providers without being notified. The quality of services and products have gone down hill. The past couple of visits I’ve left dissatisfied because the Brazilian was so painful and there was a ton of missed hairs! Not what I pay for! Take your money and business to a company that cares and is a little more stable, I know I am.

I LOVE The Portland Girl. I see Emma monthly for a decadent facial, always tailored to my skin’s needs. I walk out feeling like a goddess. Now in my 30s, my skincare needs have changed, and my skin looks better than ever thanks to Emma’s attention to detail and expertise. I have also converted most of my skincare products to TPG’s in-house brand, Clean Beauty Cult, and it has been a total game changer. TPG’s sugaring services are also AMAZING - I will never go back to traditional waxing. I look forward to being in a long-term relationship with this beautiful local business.

I recently just got my first sugaring brazillian and I was terrified, but the staff talked me through it and it really wasnt as bad as I thought. The shop is clean and the staff are friendly. My only gripe is the parking is a pain, so give yourself time to find a spot.

I’ve been going to TPG for years and USED to love it. I’m not sure what happened but this place has gone so downhill. They constantly move appointment times and providers. They have apparently a insane turnover rate (hence the ever changing provider). The front desk seems lost, I’ve been checked out as someone else multiple times.The products are completely different then what they originally were and have had multiple price increases right AFTER a National pandemic.Also they took away online booking and good luck even getting in for a appointment now unless you want a surprise training appointment.

Came to get my brows sugared and tinted and it was such a phenomenal experience! Clean space, cute everything, and my esthetician made me feel so comfortable! Legit left feeling like a new human and will definitely be back again for other services!

Woah this was my first time ever coming here to get sugar waxed and it was great! Well obviously not the feeling of getting hairs ripped out of my skin but the lady did a great job, although it hurt it only actually hurt a little bit! My lady was great! After waiting outside in the 112 degree weather (because they make you text and wait outside when you arrive for your appointment) for 10 minutes, I finally decided to go inside because no one was responding to my text that I had arrived for my appointment. I went inside to find out that my appointment was not on their schedule, even though I had a text message confirming my appointment day & time & provider. So I took off of work to sit in the heat, only to find out they messed up my appointment. They couldnt even see me, only said “sorry about that”. If you decide to try this salon, please do yourself a favor and confirm your appointment before you go. Also - I find it pretty terrible to make your clients wait outside in this oppressive heatwave.

I loved my Signature Facial from The Portland Girl with Savannah - highly recommend! It was extremely relaxing and my skin looks amazing. The extraction process helped my congested skin/blackheads TREMENDOUSLY and the microdermabrasion (which I added on) made my skin soft and glowy. So much hydration during the facial, too! I already made my second appointment and am planning on doing the membership. :)

They’ve always been really flexible with appointments; I was in the area an hour early so I called to see if they were able to squeeze me in and they were happy to accommodate! It’s always very clean and tidy without feeling sterile, maintaining a warm and welcoming environment. Friendly staff, the most pain-free sugaring I’ve experienced, and wonderful products (I *highly* recommend Consciously Collected Dinah’s Salve Soothing Rub!).

Had a tough go with Sarah when I called to ask about gift cards. She thought I was trying to buy one over the phone. I was just trying to ask if they had gift cards available and I would try to stop by and purchase one. She hung up on me and told me to go elsewhere.

I love the Portland Girl. I’ve been getting waxed/sugared for 13 years now in some of the biggest cities in the country (and some of the smallest - eek), so I am pretty picky when it comes to technique with hair removal. I tried a couple of places after moving to Portland, but The Portland Girl is where I decided to stay. It is absolutely great. I even have less hair growth since starting there. All of their aestheticians have been fabulous, the ambiance is comforting and chic (sounds like an oxymoron, but it’s weirdly both), and the admin staff have always been incredibly accommodating, kind, and helpful. Highly, highly recommend.

I was so certain before I came to my first appointment at Portland Girl ever that Id love it, I bought the membership package. It was such a great experience and I am so happy I decided to do that (it was definitely worth the $109 a month!) The space was very clean, smelled really good, and super relaxing. All of the staff was very friendly and nice. The first thing they offered me when I walked in was a mimosa! I had Jessica, who made me feel very comfortable going into the facial and asked me questions about my skin before starting to make sure I chose the right facial for me. After the facial was over, she took time to go over my facial routine and recommended products for me to use to keep my skin healthy and clear. Im very excited for my next one! (Already booked) My friends have already told me my face look much better/clearer after the first facial.

I went to the Portland Girl and did sugaring for the first time! Very successful. Clean and beautiful location. Wonderful staff! Definitely will go backAt last visit, I bought their moisturize cream called ‘hella hydration’. It’s meant for the face and it says it can be used on eczema and other skin conditions. I used it for a few a few days on the eczema patches on my legs and it was a miracle! The redness is gone, the dryness and flaky skin! I have tried so many things and nothing has ever worked as quickly as this!!! Thank you!!!!
