I lived here 20 years ago and it was a wonderful experience, now I have moved back in and I couldnt be more grateful to be in Axcess 15 - the staff, especially Mat, is so incredibly helpful and kind. The folks in the building are truly neighbors, and the whole place is such a fantastic place to live for me and my kid. I highly recommend this complex and community, both for its location, its residents, and its staff who is so supportive.

Ive lived here for 9 months, and still have to pinch myself that I got exactly what I wanted for such a good price. After living in a 100-year-old apartment for many years, I wanted a much newer apartment that was safer and better maintained. But Portlands newest apartments are so tiny and so expensive! So I was so happy to find this newish apartment with all the features I wanted: big kitchen, dishwasher, in-apartment washer and dryer, air conditioning. And its large! I havent gotten to know my neighbors yet because of COVID, but I love it that all kinds of people live here -- all ages, races, styles. Everyone fits in.

We lived here for two years! We initially moved here because we loved the location but once COVID hit, the neighborhood went downhill. I honestly didn’t feel comfortable taking a stroller walk with my little girl, which is why we ultimately left. Overall, Mat from the leasing office was incredible!! He was so friendly and helped us with any question. Maintenance was also great, our requests got answered in a timely manner. There was one gal (not Sarah) who was rude when we tried to leave our keys... Other than that, great place to live if you don’t have a family.

Missed this place already. Management group is great. Matt is very professional and responsive. On-site maintenance gentleman is nice, fixed the dishwasher and microwave within 24hr report when we first moved in. We got the top floor with patio and in-unit washer&dryer. Rooms are filled with sunlight at all time. On the midnight of July 4th, someone shoot breathtaking fireworks shine right over the roof across. No hidden fee, repair charge.etc...quite unbelievable in all good means.

Mat (& also Sarah!) have made my move from CA to Portland a breeze. They are both super friendly and helpful. Im so happy I came across this complex. Very spacious floor plan(s) with in-unit washer & dryer, ceiling fan and dishwasher. (Bonus: Walk-in closet!) Perfect location - walkable to restaurants, shops & parks. Great price for the area. My pup & I are so excited to be a part of this lovely community!

I recently moved from out of state to this apartment & have not regretted it. These apartments are perfectly placed in a nice location, close to local restaurants & bars, and it is literally minutes from downtown Portland. Not to mention the helpful staff, which I personally love to visit to have nice friendly chats. They have helped me not only make the move-in process easy, but also helped me find good local restaurants & stores that I now frequently return to.

The receptionist is one of the least helpful leasing office staff members I have ever encountered. It seems as though she went out of her way to provide poor customer service

Overall, in 9 yrs of living in Portland, this was the best place I lived. Of course, it’s Portland and there was crime and other issues but for me the staff and other residents were helpful and responsive. The pricing was better than most areas of Portland (larger apartment at 700 + sq ft) and I LOVE this area of Portland- hasn’t been gentrified beyond recognition and is walkable, reasonably safe, and fantastic access to public transit. After struggling with dishonest and law-breaking, abusive landlords for over three years, I felt at home here and would have continued to rent if for not moving out of the area.

I have lived here 12 years. Current management does an exceptional job. Units have own washer dryer, all amenities and great closet space. Location good. Units very quiet and I’m right on the Courtyard! When a maintenance need arises, staff quickly and professionally resolve the issue. Full gym and secured parking garage. I highly recommend Axcess 15 except for one thing: the utility charge is based on number of tenants and square feet! So as a single tenant in a two bedroom unit I pay an excessive amount! Outrageous! Since factoring in sq ft my utility bill for water, sewer and trash increased 46%!

I have lived here for almost three years and I am impressed with the newish management company and how they have hit the ground running with improvements to the building and increasing efficiency. The staff is always friendly and helpful and my maintenance requests have been handled quickly. I love having access to the gym and it is central to just about everything. Thank you!

Ive been a resident at Axcess 15 for a little over a year now and I definitely think this place deserves a higher rating than its currently at. We initially started in a 704 square foot one-bedroom plan, but within the last month moved to an 850 square foot layout.Pros:- Very spacious floor plans, especially when comparing to other apartments in Portland.- Reasonable rent cost, especially compared to the space youre getting.- Since moving here, they have continually updated the building with new flooring, fresh paint and more.- Very affordable parking, especially compared to other apartments in the area.- Close to the Moda Center, and walking distance from various restaurants and shops. Convenient access to both I5 and 84.- In unit laundry, AC & heat, parcel pending lockers and a fitness center.- The team in the leasing office is great. Mat has always been really helpful whenever we have needed anything!Cons:-The location in itself can be loud. Lots of noise outside from the street.- Walls are relatively thin; our old unit was pretty quiet but we experience our neighbors footsteps more frequently in our new unit.- A few issues with fire alarms going off at VERY inconvenient hours. Usually resolved somewhat quickly but not preferable to be rooted out of bed at 3am.Overall we have enjoyed our time here! The pros certainly outweigh the cons.

Im a resident at Axcess 15 and have been for several years. The apartment has recently made some updates and this place is really starting to live up to its potential now. The entire office staff has been replaced with smiling faces and helpful attitudes. Im planning on living out the rest of my apartment years here until I join that exclusive club of homeowners one day. Until then, Im more than happy to call this place home.

Ive lived at Axcess 15 for more than 5 years. Many management teams have come and gone since I moved in. The current team, Sarah and Mat, are the best. When MG Properties bought the complex in 2018, I was leery of yet another management team -- and a new corporate owner -- taking over. Since the transition, Ive been consistently impressed by Sarah and Mats professionalism, customer service attitude, attention to details, and follow-through. Theyve led a number of renovation and building security improvement projects that have enhanced the community. The maintenance team of Dave, Igor and Silvina are all friendly, hard-working people who truly care about the residents and taking good care of the buildings and the grounds. Its not easy maintaining a 200+ unit, 20+ years old apartment complex, but the staff here all do a fantastic job. Many thanks :-)

I was reading the recent reviews and there seems to be a pattern. I actually live here and honestly want to warn others. The newish management has been good at their marketing but not much has changed. The current office staff are often absent when I stop by the office and when they are available, they seem disappointed to have another unhappy resident to deal with. My biggest concern is with crime in the area - recently, I walked into the trash room and there was someone rummaging through the trash, obviously under the influence of something. The halls have a strange odor and my neighbor below my apartment smokes marijuana all day long.

Wouldnt live here again -- I was there in 2017.Nice but sketchy and unprofessional staff. The gym is ok I guess.Everything else about this place is kind of old and gross. The carpets are nastyThey charge a lot of hidden fees.Be careful with this companyNeighbors were all nice though. Quiet too.Good walking to a lot of different places, sushi in the building was really good. Lots of food lots of coffee shops nearby etc.The mall is sketchy though theres been some shootings over there.

The units are average but everything else makes up for it. He office staff and maintenance people are responsive and kind. The gym has a great set of dumbbells as well as a good selection of cardiovascular machines. The location is great. It is a seven minute walk to the max and a one minute walk to 4 bus lines. There have been some recent break-ins into cars parked on the street but you can always rent a spot in the parking garage.

Before I checked out this apartment I read these reviews and almost skipped it altogether. There are a couple bad reviews and it seemed like there was a pattern. I am so glad I ignored those reviews and checked it out! This place is great! It is so close to everything. The apartments are spacious, especially for the rent they are asking. The office staff have been so helpful in so many ways and I have had no problem with them at all. They have changed the parking lot a little and although other people have complained about break ins I have seen none since I moved in 3 months ago. The Phagans hair school is gone so no more smokers gathered out back letting random people into the garage. They are issuing key fobs and assigned spaces with stickers for the garage (now with double gates) so I bet break ins will never happen again. Last week I had an issue with the garbage disposal, and after placing a maintenance call, the guy came and fixed it an hour later. And that was on a Sunday! My only con about this place (if i have to have one) is the general street noise on Weidler. If noise bothers you I would choose an inside apartment. It doesnt bother me and I personally would rather have the view. Besides, its nothing that management can control anyways.I will definitely be renewing my lease here when it is up. Its a really nice apartment and in a great part of town. It is safe and secure and the staff is very friendly and helpful! Dont believe those couple negative reviews. They obviously are the type of person that would never be happy and probably made the office miserable for no reason! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to live!

UPDATE: After I wrote this review we received a notice from management that our rent is going up ALMOST $500 PER MONTH (on a $1500 apartment) after living here for less than 2 months. If we had any idea they were going to jack up the rent like that we NEVER would have moved in. BEWARE.Overall its a nice place to live. Very convenient location, super friendly staff and well maintained. The rent is definitely on the high side as other reviewers have noted. Our unit was updated and is very comfortable and spacious. We share almost no common walls with neighboring units, which is nice too.Only real drawback since weve lived there (almost 2 months) is the really loud kids in the courtyard between the buildings. Theres a big pack of them that play, run and scream (with no adult supervision) every night for 1-3 hours unless its raining.During that time its impossible to hang out on our balcony or even keep our windows open some nights because of the screaming and shrieking. We are on the 4th floor, so it must be even worse on the lower floors.According to a neighbor who has lived there a long time, the kids come every year with foreign families that stay in the complex while on student visas. Apparently management either cant or wont do anything about the noise issue (theres a public park about 2 blocks away, so its not like there is no place for kids to go play).Since this is really annoying to come home to every night after work I think potential renters should be aware of it. Other than screaming kid hour nearly every night, its a great place to live.

I strongly urge others to research other housing options in the Portland area. My husband and I experienced countless problems...worst being MOLD. EVERYWHERE. We had to wipe down our window sills and baseboards every time it rained (which is all the time bc its Portland) due to build up of condensation. The moisture was so bad that we found mold growing on the bottom of our dresser drawers. We were there for less than a year! Leaks in the ceiling, cheap laminate flooring, and mindless charges upon move out. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere

Although the units available aren’t “bad” & the location is nice, the reasons for regretting my move here keep piling up (and it’s only been three months)1. Not sure how this is legal but each month I end up paying about $300 (once $500) more a month in rent than advertised. And it’s not like I got confused on the price, no no no every time, the amount i owe is different and for different reasons i can’t understand bc i can’t understand the verbiage on the bill.2. The staff is unhelpful, juvenile, and frankly incompetent (except for the cleaning lady who is awesome!). If I can help it, I stay away the leasing office at all costs. Without fail, each time I have gone down to talk to someone for any reason, I always walk in upon two staffers talking negatively about a tenant(s) or situation. It boggles my mind that they think it is okay to do this and it makes me extremely uncomfortable, as I know if I don’t “live up to their standards” not only will I be the target of their next aubile venting session but I would be subject to retaliation type scenario which seems to be a running heme among tenants (as gesrd by two friends/neighbots. and I reiterate, I have ONLY BEEN HERE 3 MONTHS! Wow.3. For the price, you can get twice-as-nice. bottom line: this place is a ripoff. and i have nine more months of the constant reminder that I was played the fool. If you’re considering this place, even though it looks nice and is conveniently located, PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR OPTIONS! I mean if I would have known I’d be paying 30% in rent than what was proposed to me, I could have rented a place wih everything I wanted, quieter, bigger, and not cheaply cared for. I am so unhappy here. Those are the three things I wish I would have paid attn to. If you do end up here, stay away from leasing office, pay your rent before the first, and know you’ll need to add 30% to your expected rent when your making your budget for the pay period.Shame on these guys. AXESS 15 is a joke.

Units are expensive, but not excessively so for the area. Its right in the core of Portland, so you dont need to own a car to get around to everything. Maintenance is fantastic and the apartments are well made with nice amenities: AC, full-size W/D in the unit, ceiling fans, stone counters, VLT flooring, prewired for Comcast, in-sink disposal, on-site gym, secure parking, and the office will receive packages for you. Office staff is totally awesome folks. The 8 stops right out front, with the 17 and 77 outbound at the corner, 17 and 77 inbound a block a way.If you can swing the cost, its a very nice place to live.

I am not exaggerating and would be happy to discuss with anyone even considering moving here to save them the troubles I have had as unfortunately a current resident:Disorganized Front Office:- Was told I was all paid up for my security deposit and first month, then 6 days after moving in while I was at a business conference out of town and having to duck away from Customers to take a call that they messed up and I actually owe another $500 and then it took over a half hour for them to explain and actually figure the exact amount out.- Had to Leave work when I get a call from the front desk that there was a break in and robbery from the Maintenance office and they think my car was too and wanted me to come down to let Police take prints, only to find out my car was not broken into but got to take an afternoon off work.Safety:- Your Cars will be broken into(happened to me multiple times), which is impressive seeing there is barely enough space for cars to fit in their lot that they do not own or take responsibility for- There is a gate to the parking garage but anyone can come in due to the pack of at least 50 Phagan smokers constantly till after 10pm right by it letting people in and out propping it open, doesnt matter the time of day your car will get broken into- No functioning afterhours numbers even during times of emergencies, but lots of numbers for you to call and find out security is not provided here any longer(found that the hard way)- My Upstairs neighbor fired a GUN into the floor directly above my bed, and despite that risk of my safety the Leasing office had to point me to someone in Chicago unfamiliar with Oregon State Renter Law in order to tell me I am crazy for feeling unsafe and wont allow me to leave.
