Our favorite Place! We visit here every Friday..sometimes twice a week just to have the Italian Nachos if you havent had them your missing out. Always friendly and attentive staff.

Always friendly service. Have a chat with the bartender who will make sure to provide good conversation with your libations.

I loved this place and would love to go back. The Italian nachos (not pictured) were probably the best nachos that Ive ever had. The chips in the nachos, I believe are homemade and fantastic. The serving size for the nachos were enough for my boyfriend and I to split and feel pretty full. I got the Florentine pasta as an entree, added chicken and it came with wedding soup. The wedding soup was tasty. The pasta entree was okay. I didnt think it was fantastic, it was good. But nothing out of the ordinary for pasta I think. But the chicken in the pasta was really good. The drink was the electric blue cooler. I wanted something different, it was a good drink but not for me. Not their fault though. It was mixed well, It just would have been a great drink for someone else. I still drank all of it. Our server was nice, our appetizer was taking a little bit of time to come out, so he brought our soup out while we waited. I thought that was a nice touch.

Breaded zucchini is amazing. Prices are a bit high for most of the basic things on the menu.

Great place!!! went for the first time today for the brunch buffet and it was very well done and food was great. the lady working and coordinating the buffet was very informative and friendly and our waitress Mandy was super attentive and friendly couldnt be happier

Wife had shrimp Alfredo, very good according to her..bone of the best fried zucchini ever. Mushroom pininni was very tasteful.

Had the Chicken Marsala. Very generous lunch portion. Enough staff in front to handle all the tables. Fairly large venue.

Went here with family on Friday. We had 7 of us. We were initially quoted 35-40 mins to get seated inside or immediately if outside. We tried outside but it was a little too cold this day. So they did immediately get us seated inside. My husband and I was on a separate check. We were first there so we ordered an appetizer, mozzarella wedges. These very very good. However when I went to the bathroom i still had one on my plate. When I returned it was gone. So I was upset about that. We go on to order our dishes. My husband gets rigatoni and meat sauce, great. I ordered the chicken Parmesan, fried and breaded instead of grilled chicken and wanted the marinara and cheese on top as usual. I told her my side item I wanted fettuccine Alfredo in place of the spaghetti. Mine came out with only Alfredo sauce on top of the chicken. I asked her about it and she said she would bring me a side of marinara for the chicken. I was upset but said okay fine. My Alfredo had barely any sauce on it so I asked for a small side of that as well. The part made me upset was having to pay 1.50 for a sauce that should have already been on my chicken. I was also charged 1.50 for the Alfredo as well.I saw the charges and I was like what open food items did I have she explained it to me but I told her I shouldn’t have to pay for something that is supposed to be on my dish already she only said that her manager made her charge me for it. I just said okay fine, I’m not arguing over $3 charge not worth my or your time. The food was good just that mix up with my order and lack of solution.

UPDATE (08/16/18) WITH PICS - We went back after our sons doctor 6-month checkup and had more awesome food! This place is great!My wife and I ate here for a fish dinner and man the fish tacos were ENORMOUS! The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing! We will definitely return! I had pictures but lost them on my phone, guess Ill have to return to take them again :)

I highly recommend the pretzel breakfast sandwich which includes a fried egg, canadian bacon and Swiss cheese in a pretzel bun. It is large enough to make two meals and comes with home fries. Also their large coffee cups make for happy customers! There is now outdoor dining that is tented.

Great Food!!! The Appetizers Were Great But You Dont Get A lot. The Pizza Was Outstanding!!! But If Your Someone Who Doesn’t Like Sea Salt Bring Your Own Table Salt, They Only Have Sea Salt Here. Overall I Would Definitely Recommend! 4 1/2 Out Of 5 (but I can’t do that so 5)

Last two visits were not great. First visit we were seated outside and a server never came, so we left after 20 minutes. The next we sat at the bar and the bartender walked by us several times to attend to other regular customers, again we left without service. Likely not coming back anytime soon.

Went there for Breakfast, best Western, ,Mediterranean with sides of potatoes and bread awesome !! Service fast, prices reasonable for amount of food and big cups of good tasting coffee !! A very nice server !! A welcoming environment that makes you wanna come back !! 5 star for me :)

This is my new favorite place. Im addicted to the firecracker shrimp, but everything is seriously excellent. Salads are SO fresh and good is prepared right. Love the comfortable vibe and the staff is always so friendly. We really try to avoid going to the same place all the time because you wear the place out, but we keep coming back here because, well its just better than other places. Thank you Gianna Vias!

We ended up here because another place was closed. I didnt even know this place had breakfast! I will come here again. We had the stuffed french toast and Mediterranean omelet. Delicious! Plus mimosas and Bloody Marys. I was not expecting a mimosa when I set out for breakfast this day. Pleasant surprise. Looking forward to my next visit here.

Love this place. Super freindly staff, wonderful food, great for kids. Very welcoming . They can get very busy in the evenings especially weekends. That said when the food takes a little bit longer to come out weve always experience very attentive staff refilling our beverages offering us bread Etc while we wait for our meals. They even have gluten-free options.

First time here and I will definitely be back! Everything is homemade and delicious. Staff is courteous, covid-19 proceedures are followed strictly, and seating/lighting is quite comfortable.

My aunt was in town and wanted to treat us cousins and my parents and other aunt to a good dinner. Food has always been good when I’ve been there before but our waitress tonight, Heather, was phenomenal. Great service, great personality, connected with all of us in her own way. Being in management before, used to be in food industry, and currently in sales, I just have to say this employee should be valued!

Everything I’ve ordered is delicious and everyone who has answered the phone to take my order has always been very courteous. We have ordered Italian nachos, stuffed banana peppers and chicken parm and everything was delicious.

Excellent service, friendly atmosphere & great food. Unfortunately the sheriffs shut them down for indoor dining today as of all of Allegheny County. Was supposed to allow 25 % capacity. Small businesses trying to make a living. Please give support to Gianna Vias.

Very good breakfast. 2 BIG lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberry syrup. Bacon crispy, but not burnt. Friendly waitress. A little noisy sitting outside due to traffic, but I would definitely go back.

Nice place for breakfast. Loved the big cups of coffee and additional pot left on the table. Standard breakfast fare and we liked the Eggs Benedict and well done kielbasa. A little skimpy on the bacon but it was cooked well and tasty.Big place and lots of room to accommodate large groups.

I got married here February 29th, 2020. Our waitress Connie was the BEST! The food is amazing! The room was really cute and you werent being rushed to get out. I believe we had the room for 3 hours. I would absolutely use there banquet room again!

Food was delicious but jim the server was awesome. We walked in at 8:59 and they was closing at 9 and they seated us with a smile and wants our business and never rushed us out at all. Special Thanks to you guys, Tony, Mary and staff on Easter Sunday. Our dinner , enough for 5+ however only (2 of us) was excellent and I mean 5 stars. Easy ordering. Paid by phone, set up a pick up time, pulled up to curb, there was Tony, who Radioed in and out within seconds was Maureen with our meal. 2 meals for us on easter and Monday its just as good. 2 1/2 StarsWe went here for a company Christmas party. There were nine people in our group. The waitress was very nice. The bar was very slow!! The food was good but did not come out at the same time for our whole group. First 4 people were served. Ten minutes later, 2 more served. Five minutes later, two more. Five minutes after that, the last! This is nuts!! The first served felt bad eating when others did not have their meals! Were not talking gourmet meals here. We ordered salads, burgers, sliders and cheese sticks!! No excuse for the food to arrive so sporadically!

Can’t remember the last time I ate waffles. The gluten free waffles rocked! Have had their gluten free pizza. It was fantastic, home made crust not frozen and hard. Can’t believe the gluten free options available. Can’t wait until they have a gluten free beer that will go great with their wings that I want to try.

Great food, fantastic service friendly servers. My husband meets with other Veterans on Thursday morning every week and they are treated like royalty.

First time I have been there, most likely the last. The interior feels like a dated cafeteria . We ordered loaded potato wedges for $11 and received a plate that looked to be one large potato or two small ones cut up. Either way, total rip off for the price. We got a couple pizzas which were pretty good, but still seemed a bit pricey for the quantity. The service was slow as well. We were left at the table with the check for quite a while. I assumed we had to pay at the front so we walked up and asked if we could pay at the register. Two workers just shook their head and said no more. So we went back to our table and had to wait another 5 min just to pay and leave.

Nice place. Great food. Good service. And a nice full bar. Always seem to be busy and everyone works together there. The place was clean. Definitely my to go spot. They have breakfast lunch and dinner. Certain times , breakfast is over at 11, then lunch starts, then at 3 dinner. Its all good!!! And great parking.

We made reservations and were told upon arrival they didnt have a table for us so they sat us at a small booth in the bar. The bartender ignored us and we never actually got to place dinner orders and ended up just leaving after multiple failed attempts to flag her down. I understand they were busy but the amount of time spent complaining could have been better spent acknowledging customers.

We rented the back room for a Rotary event. The food was excellent (including carved roast beef station). Our dedicated server was smooth and skilled. She kept our glasses full and made us feel welcome. The bartender made us fresh crushed mojitos which is a rarity these days. Thank you. We ll be back!

I would like to offer my personal thanks and gratitude to both the owner of the restaurant Tony M and his new morning manager Maureen. They just do an absolutely fantastic job taking care of customers, and I would highly recommend this restaurant. Im especially pleased because they have welcomed our Tuesday morning networking group back into the restaurant to do our meetings in their back room. These are great people who really care about their customers and their food and server staff is really good as well!

Dessert was Great. Meals came out at different times. Some of us were almost done eating before others got their food. Then the delayed food was ice cold. Waitress never cleared any dirty dishes. We were eating dessert with our soup bowls, salad plates and main course plates stacked around us.

Our server was very friendly and efficient. She got us new drinks in a timely manner and always with a smile. My friend and I split two appetizers.. Fried zucchini, and brushetta.The portions were plentiful however I wasnt really crazy about either of them. In the past Ive really only had the wood fired oven pizza and that is always very good.

My networking group of around 30 people met here for lunch today, and the service was awesome! Food was hot and timed perfectly around our event, and they juggled all our orders extremely well. Will definitely be back!

Had the salmon special. Maple and pecans. A little too sweet. Wasnt served with mashed potatoes as stated in the menu.

Alfredo sauce was fantastic! Beats Olive Garden.

Only been there once, but the pizza was awful. Cheese was falling off and very very greasy.

Had the grilled chix and spinach specialty pizza. This was a fantastic choice. The crust was perfectly crispy and all the toppings came together nicely. Definitely, one of the best pizzas Ive eaten.

The restaurant is clean first of all. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. The food has an Italian flair with other regular menu options. There are daily specials that are very enticing and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food good prices fast service.

Discourteous staff. We walked into Gianna Via’s about 20-30 minutes before closing and the manager made a snide comment along the lines of “well you have 20 minutes, better eat quick.” He then directed us to sit in the overly crowded bar area (which is open later) because he did not think we would be finished in time for the dining room to close. We reluctantly sat in the bar area and were met with obnoxiously drunk guests who were bumping us and spilling food/drinks everywhere. On top of that, our server was slow and inattentive because he had to tend to the entire bar due to low staff. We had another poor encounter with Gianna Via’s when a member of my household called to order take-out and encountered a cashier who bursted out laughing right away and continued giggling throughout the call for no identifiable reason. She was not paying attention to us at all; we had to repeat our order multiple times and even then it was incorrect when we picked it up.

This was our first time here. Wait staff is friendly. The zucchini is good, but for the $11 they charge, its a very small amount - way overpriced! The entrees that were ordered were enjoyed, but small. The rolls and butter are amazing! I was quite disappointed in the portion sizes for the amount that is charged. Quite sad. Wont be a frequent customer unless my daughter-in-law continues to crave the one salad that is offered, but she is due in approximately 3 1/2 weeks. You dont get your moneys worth.

Nice place. Has gluten free choices. Had chicken marsala. Used fettuccine noodles. There was enough chicken and there were enough mushrooms for sure. Although there were very few grains Im maybe for small pieces. I really look forward to having some of those greens in my meals so I was somewhat disappointed there. otherwise its its very nice.

Breakfast, lunvh or dinner, you cant go wrong at Gianna Vias.

Delicious food! They have one of the best gluten free pizzas Ive found. Homemade crusts, not one of the frozen ones that tastes like cardboard.
