Expensive place to live and many times my partner couldnt find a parking spot in a short time. One night it took him 40 mins to find one, he was very very unhappy about it. The location is not bad at all, near to a lot of grocery stores, the apartment is spacious.

We just signed the lease yesterday, and there are roaches. Not one, not two, but we have found 12 in the last 24 hours. Were hoping the office will resolve it. Other than that, the apartment is okay. Its definitely what youd expect for the rent amount.Update: Okay, so nobody talks to anyone else in the office. We had found that nobody did a proper cleaning of our apartment. Our baseboards and the top of our shelves were extremely dirty, covered in roach poop. While trying to schedule their cleaning lady to come out, apparently the woman in the office never scheduled it. Kate supposedly scheduled another cleaner for next Wednesday. I am only asking for a roach-free apartment, cleaned from the previous tenant. Its pulling teeth with the office here. I contacted the pest control company and Chamberlain management myself to ensure this matter is resolved.Update 2: I had to be very proactive with the office, even so far as calling the pest control myself. The roaches are gone. I did a little research on my apartment, and apparently the last resident was arrested and thusly, everything in the apartment was spoiled and roaches infested the unit. So at least they dont appear to be coming from someone else. Two separate occasions, a cleaner was scheduled and never came. I decided to clean it myself.

I Love It Here They Work With You The Best Way They Can Only Thing I Dislike Is They Always Shut Off The Water Whether Its Expected Or Unexpected For HOURS At A Time & They Could Clean Around The Community More.. The Tenats Rarely Pick Up Afer Their Pets but The Ladies In The Office Are Very Helpful And Understanding.

Unsanitary, gates barely work most of the time. Pool closed secondary to tenants destroy the pools. Just make sure if this is the right place for you before you settle as you will be disappointed.

The office staff are amazing here. They treat you with the upmost respect and professionalism. I tip my hat to the maintenance team for always keeping the property clean and fixing any issue you may have asap. Will highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to live!

Been here for since July I love the feel of inside of apartment and outside felt more homey because of individuality they allowed but not anymore got in trouble for few things on patio when others have birds and tons of things! I was told I could keep my grill as long as I didn’t use on patio now told to get rid of it it’s not allowed 250$ loss ! On top of this Roaches were supposed to be taken care of once a wk it lasted 2 wks only. Still got roaches! Office staff is rude , water gets turn off frequently and gate issues on going. I really want to love this place just disappointed.

I love this property! The staff is very attentive to your needs. The office staff is really nice and the maintenance staff is very friendly and informative. I absolutely love this place. I work in property management, and that being said my expectations were definitely high. I moved in just about a year ago, and the day of my move in I was so impressed with how well the turn was and the condition of my move in, only very minor things. Maintenance is always timely and fixes issues with no complaints. Meghan and Kate in the office are fantastic, I have recently put in for a transfer and they have been absolutely fantastic and accommodating, showing me units and being so flexible with dates and preferences. Honestly, when I moved in I wasnt sure what to expect given Chamberlins background and reviews but I am super impressed and they are very fortunate to have such an amazing office and maintenance staff running this property. I would, have, and will continue to recommend this property to anyone looking for affordable and well managed housing in the phx area.

We submitted our cancellation of our 60 day notice. I asked for a copy of the paper and the Woman working said that she would take care of it. The front office here is completely incompetent. I do not recommend living here.

I am in the process of looking for an apartment and when I spoke with Jazmin yesterday she was very pleasant. I drove 30 mins to tour the unit and upon arriving she was ready to tour. However when I offered her my ID (she didn’t request it) she then also said my boyfriend had to present his before the tour. I asked if he could wait outside and she said he wasn’t allowed on the premises at all without one. I opted to cancel the tour and will no longer pursue a residence there. I understand that there are certain policies in place, however if it wasn’t for me offering my ID she would have forgetten they were even required

My favorite part about living at the Stratford is the HUGE walk-in closets and that there are two dog parks for my family to use! I appreciate the super kind office staff and will absolutely be renewing here! Big thank you to Meghan, Kate, and Maria for always being so helpful.

Filthy. Poorly managed, and the parking situation is the worst I’ve ever encountered in my life!! You literally never find parking, ever! I promise you that isn’t an exaggeration... good luck trying to have anyone visit you. They might have to park at the local park down the street.

The front office staff is always accommodating and helpful! The location of the complex is great and the pool area is very nice and always clean. I have very much enjoyed my stay here thus far!

We were planning on moving when our lease was up at the end of April 2020, but after we signed our notice to vacate in March, someone from the office called us within a week offering us to renew our lease at the same rate. A week after that everything started shutting down because of covid so we decided to sign a new lease. We signed it on 3/31/2020 and our new lease would be starting on 5/1/2020.This is the email I sent to the office after the events that occurred on 5/1.“I have attached my lease and a screenshot of May’s rent payment. Someone from your office just walked into my apartment saying that this unit is supposed to be vacant. We did submit a notice to vacate in March, but we received a call from your office offering us to renew our lease at the same rate, so we did. We signed that lease on March 31. I want to know why the woman who saw that notice did not confirm anything and why she decided to just walk into my house. We were planning on visiting family this morning, so what would she have done if we were not home? What if we didn’t hear her at the door and she walked in on my daughter who was taking a bath at the time?She called me at 11:59, and left me a voicemail saying she had questions about my move out.I called back at 12:10 saying I was confused about the call because we are not moving out and I was told I would receive a call back from the woman who originally called me.This woman arrived at my door at 12:30 and started unlocking my door and saying she was from the office. When I got to the door, she told me my unit was supposed to be vacated. I told her no, we signed a new lease (in March) and just paid rent today. She told me she “called to confirm” and was told this unit was supposed to be vacated. I took her key out of the door and handed it to her and told her that was not correct, and then I called the office immediately after and was told she would call me back. It has now been 50 minutes and I have not received a call.I want to know who she “called to confirm” with and why your office does not have my lease on file.I’m expecting a call because this is not acceptable and I feel I have been intruded on.”The woman referenced in this email is named Cecelia, she is the assistant property manager. I called back after another hour and she answered, acting like she had no idea what was going on and made me explain everything over again. She was very rude and condescending and kept telling me it was my fault because I didn’t revoke the notice to vacate. Wouldn’t signing a new lease automatically revoke the notice to vacate?! I hung up and called back later and spoke to Megan in the front office. She was very nice and understanding and said she would have the manager reach out to me. It has now been a month and a half later and I have received no such call. This is not right and is something that should be made right when I as a tenant did nothing wrong.

The property is taken care of well and the management is extremely personable. They are all very empathetic which Ive learned through experience can be hard to find in property managers. Overall, a great team and apartment.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would . The water is constantly being shut off due to repairs and I don’t know what the point of that is seeing as how the water is still gray when they turn it back on . If you drank it , it would probably kill you. Also your lease will say that your rent is one amount and then after you’ve signed it , all of a sudden the rent is much more . I can’t wait to pay to get out of this lease and find a better place to live . Save yourself the headache and do NOT move here!!!!!!

Apartment wise its not bad. But parking is ridiculous. If you have more than one car in your household, forget about it. It doesnt help that you cant find a spot when 11 (counted myself) spots are taken up by random containers or industrial dumpsters.Also, I would just to add, dont move here if you like working A/C or feel that a complex should provide it. See my attached photo for reference. They dont think its a big deal if youre dying in your apartment as long as you pay your rent.

You guys are amazing, office staff is outstanding and maintenance staff gets work orders done right away. Been here going on 7 years and just signed on for another year. The water is always gray so you have no idea what youre washing your dishes or your body in . The leasing staff needs some serious coaching in regards to their customer service skills . They only work with you as much as they have to regardless of the pandemic . Their hours do not match what hours they are actually in office . I left last Saturday and because their office hours say they are closed Saturday I didn’t turn the keys in . Now I have to wait til Friday when I can mail them but they say they’ll be charging me every day until they receive the keys . Save yourself the headache and DO NOT move here . They recently jumped from 2 stars to 3 but I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t come back down .

I have been living at Breckenridge for 6 months. nothing but good comments about this place. Never thought I would live as comfortable as I am. I have had so many compliments of my apartment, so many renovations that it looks so nice. Management have always been awesome! Any questions I have they have been really helpful. Maintenance people are awesome too! My A/c was no working properly and they were out to fix it super fast. The office is open 7 days a week which is awesome. Keep up the Good work Breckenridge!! will definitely recommend to my family and friends!

I’ve been living here for the past 2 years and I can honestly say that right now we have one of the best managers(Kate) and manager assistant (Meghan) they are both very nice and always happy to help.

Horrible customer service. Been here about 7 years and never had any manager threatening to evict me due to being upset over maintenance issues. Wow! Beware of horrible Air Conditioning bad bad plumbing issues. Dog KaKa everywhere. Horrible painting that has not been fixed for years. Management does not care for their tenants. They act like their doing you a favor and you work for them instead of the other way around. Any positive review is probably of their friends or family. Very unprofessional. Management will leave youre air conditioning not working properly and say its fixed. My hot water didnt work in my master bathroom and it took numerous compliants for them to fix. Over 3 years of complaints. BEWARE!

The truth is that at first everyone was very nice and the apartments inside are very nice (some details) But all good! We are a family of 4 (soon 5) because I am pregnant, my husband, my 5 year old son and an elderly lady! Ive had problems that the police have called me simply because my son walks and plays in the apartment and the neighbors are bothered by that! Besides that it is at noon or in the afternoon because we go to bed early and my son does not get up that early. They simply have to notify a family before renting that the other residents do not like to hear a child playing and that they do not accept children! because they pay more attention to a claim because a child plays! But because of the smell of marijuana that I quite smelled it when I go out to my balcony, and music and TV at night that does not bother anyone. The truth is I am very disappointed because I avoid as much as possible in not making noises at night or very early in the morning and not playing music! But it bothers them to hear my only son walk or play. If you have children I do not recommend that you rent here. Because they prefer people who use drugs but not families with children.La verdad es que al principio todo el mundo fue muy agradable y los apartamentos por dentro son muy lindos (algunos detalles) ¡Pero todo bien! ¡Somos una familia de 4 (pronto 5) porque estoy embarazada, mi esposo, mi hijo de 5 años y una anciana! ¡He tenido problemas de que la policía me haya llamado simplemente porque mi hijo camina y juega en el apartamento y los vecinos están molestos por eso! The staff is absolutely amazing, professional and friendly - something all complexes need when it comes to doing business. And the property is always in tip top shape.

We have been here about a month and so far, Management is very kind and quick to respond to concerns. Maintenance is very respectful and come within a day or less, which we did not have at our last apartment rental. The entire complex is being renovated and we are pleased with the new playground and amenities. We werent even expecting our apartment to be as updated as it was upon moving in, for such a good rent price. The only problem we had was a noise complaint that we believe wasnt actually meant for us. I look forward to the stairs being updated and more safe. Over all we are glad to be here.

Parking is TERRIBLE. You’re not guaranteed a parking spot in the complex if you have two vehicles.

I have lived here for 6 months and its a quiet (now that renovations are ending) and nice community to live in, love the floor plan and the dog park, and the staff have been great to us. Having a washer and dryer in unit has been awesome and money saving.

If you have more than one car in your household good luck with parking after 5pm. The management acts as if there is plenty of parking but refuse to acknowledge all the construction taking all the extra spaces.Also there is a very big termite issue here. Management and maintenance were so slow to do anything about. And the communication between management is the worst every time I called about our ongoing issues I had to start at the beginning and fill them in every time. Is there no record?? The water is constantly off and our shower never worked longer than about 10 minutes.They are too high priced for what you are really getting, not worth it.

Ive been living here 2.5 years.The new management company is far superior to the old one.They are updating and remodelling practically the entire complex.We are about 14 months into THE GRAND DESIGN. Every building has a brand new shingle roof. Every building has new siding and new paint. Every patio enclosure got completely replaced. Every unit is in the process of getting new toilets. Every old wood staircase and upper porch railing is getting replaced with new metal ones.The parking right now sucks for guests and second cars. They are currently filling and swapping out 5+ bigass dumpsters a week, full of construction debris.Once the grand remodel is complete, this will be the nicest place around.The common areas are completely redone.New gas and charcoal stainless steel grills, new enclosed dog areas, new seating areas, a brand new playground, new pool furniture, and on and on and on. They are adding benches and walkways near the basketball court, surrounded by new turf. There are new pavers in select areas.The maintenance team is much better, too.My disposal was leaking under my sink. We submitted an emergency request, and the next afternoon, a new one was installed. Our kitchen lights ballast went out, and they had a new one installed within 48 hours.The landscaping can be hit or miss. Sometimes they butcher the bushes out front, and sometimes they look nice.My biggest complaint, since the new company took over, is one of their sub-contractors.The pest control company uses a REALLY REALLY POWERFUL spray. Like... for 2 or 3 days, I didnt take my dogs outside. We had to burn candles, and cover our mouths to get to the car. Its really strong.

I’ve been living at Stratford since 12/14/2019 and most likely will not renew my lease next year. The apartment itself is really nice, but the office hours during the week (9am-5pm) is inconvenient and the staircase is in poor condition.I’ve also experienced subpar customer service. There’s been a few times where I’ve accidentally visited the office during after hours or during their break and someone would be inside. Instead of acknowledging me at the door to let me know the next time the office will be open, they’ll act as if no one is there and ignore you or brush you off by speaking through soundproof doors. I understand I made a mistake on my part, but I feel like there should be the common decency to acknowledge or assist someone if you’re in the position to. Especially if it’s a simple question (location of the mailbox/how to pick up packages) and if they’re a new resident.

Been here four months still no hot water In my master shower. We were supposed to have laminate flooring and instead got stained and ripped carpet. Maintenance requests are closed when work is unfinished. They removed our patio gate that we were told on lease signing we would be able to keep, so we no longer have the “private patio” we had when we signed the lease. According to management sometimes it’s difficult explaining the problem to maintenance because most of them only speak Spanish. What an excuse.

Can’t say enough about the girls in the office! Kate, Meghan and Maria give awesome service and Meghan always has a smile on her face!

Once again Breckenridge is changing their hours. 9am - 6pm is not suitable for someone that works 8:30-5:30. There is no way I can pick up a package unless I request a day off of work BECAUSE NOW THEY ARE CLOSING ON THE WEEKENDS.Now that it’s summer our AC barely works and Breckenridge could care less unless it’s completely broken. I’ve had 2 flat tires due to the new siding and that adds up to $200 spent because the crew leaves their tools and everywhere and nails end up all over the parking lot.

I absolutely love this place!!! I have been here for over 4 years and I just signed another lease. A great place to call home. The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are very quick to attend to any problems that arise.

0 parking.Gates don’t work at any entrance.Terrible office hours for a leasing office.There’s been construction for the last 7 months which makes the already terrible parking even worse due to them blocking almost 15 spots with extra dumpsters and pallets.The office will falsify documents and then brush you off completely when you confront them about it.They are unhelpful and dismissive in general.Zach in particular is a caring and genuine individual, and a great customer service rep. I haven’t seen him here in awhile, but he’s solid.

Saturday May 11 I called so they can check my air conditioning because it wasn’t working and my apartment was at 85 degrees inside. I am pregnant and I have kids at home. I can’t open my windows because they removed the screens since they’re remodeling. Sunday morning May 12 I called again. They answered the phone. They never called back. So I called again and they told me they can’t help until Monday. It’s so frustrating for me because I have nowhere to go and neither do my kids. They should have staff for emergencies especially during summer. Especially when it has to do with ac.

This place is a RIP OFF! I came to visit the property in February I was told if I selected a unit during that time I would receive a $1300 Visa gift card for the month of May.Celia the acting manager VERY NASTY ATTITUDE, stated to me that She spoke to her regional and they stated i recieved $200 OFF PROMOTION! I NEVER EVER RECIEVED THE $200 PROMOTION because I WAS GETTING $1300 OFFVISA GIFT CARD! THE APARTMENT S ARE CHEAPLY PUT TOGETHER FRONT COMPLETE DISASTER . I WOLL BE REACHING OUT TO THE CITY TODAY! STAY AWAY A RIP OFF APARTMENT COMMUNITY!

Breckenridge Apartments has now become Stratford Apartments due to a new management company named Chamberlain taking over. The new company is the worst Ive seen having lived here for many years. Horrible customer service, calls arent answered, messages arent returned, office closed on weekends, etc.. The exterior renovations have been a major inconvenience for months. Grounds arent kept up. Ive seen saw blades from construction workers laying on the ground for months! And, they increased rents an average of $200 a month! You can get a newer, better built apartment for the same, or less money at acomplex with management that truly cares, so dont waste your time or money here.

We were not going to renew our lease until this new management came in and theyre extremely accommodating. 1 message about our ac unit leaking and my fear of mold with 2 young kids and they sent someone to look into it that very night. Problem was taken care of within a week. Yes there is alot of construction around the complex right now, but good management is more important to me than some noise. Always cookies and lemonade for the kids at the front office, the gym is legit and we use it often. looking forward to taking the kids to an ice cream social the front office is holding tomorrow.

Kudos to the new mgr, we are thankful as we can see the attention to detail in the short time the new employees have been here. We are long time residents and can say we appreciate whats being done

We had a water bubble in our kitchen ceiling around August of 2018 and maintenance came to remove it, BUT they left a huge gaping hole in our ceiling with spots of black mould. We continuously contacted them to come fix it and they would they would get to it but never show up. DO NOT LET NEW MANAGEMENT FOOL YOU!!!! We told them about the ceiling as well and they are doing the same thing!!! I am pretty sure they are going to wait until our lease is up and try to charge us for it!!!

I was told prior to moving in 2/28/19 to give these apartments an opportunity since they are under new management. Even under the New Management I would not recommend these apartments to anyone. I moved in on the 28th, paid March Rent in FULL, yet was embarrassed by management posting a 5 day notice on my door in error for there mismanagement of bookkeeping, as well as having to wait 5 days before me and my children could have HOT WATER. I’m still waiting for the items on my move in list to be fixed. Rent here at your own Risk!

So I moved in in July of 2019 ..move in started rough as there was no electric in the apt when we got the tour nor when we moved in. I was to transfer shortly thereafter. Middle of summer and were moving in to an apt with no AC. Anyways, Water and electric was constantly getting shut off for repairs, my screen to my window never got put up befor or after painting. My front door was always difficult to open and even falling off the hinges one time. I was never lat with my rent and the one month that I was I offered to give a partial payment the lady in the office wouldnt accept it because it was not the full amount. I was in a car accident and my car was totaled, plus I had visible injuries, couldnt work for a week and had to rent a car due to insurance not paying for rental and the lady who caused the accident had limited insurance so thats why my rent was late. All this was in December of 2019. They would not work with me on payments so they sent me to court and eventually evicted me on New Years Eve, constable banged on my door told me I had 15 minutes to get a few things and get out, I had stayed home that day because I had felt sick due to the medication the Dr put me on..a few days before that my refrigerator gave out and they sent a maintenance man to troubleshoot it, which he couldnt fix so he ran an elctrical cord to the nearest outlet and left it like that for days. My son and I were left out in the street, we had nowhere to go. They gave me 14 days to get the rest of my things and said only Mon thru Friday and during a we could only get our belongings in one business day. We left so much stuff in the apt including my bed/ brand new sofa bed, dishes, picture frames, bedding and food.so I had to make arrangements with my job. My son was starting school that Monday January 6th and they wouldnt let me get his backpack for school. The lady in the office said and I quote Im very sorry but you didnt pay your rent. I have never ever been treated so disrespectfully nor been evicted from anywhere before. I hope they dont do this to anyone else.

Absolute worst complex I’ve ever lived in. Don’t move here. There are much nicer apartments in the area

This place sucks we have reported the AC and dishwasher broke over 27 times and they still have not fixed it! Last week the water main broke no communication from the office at all have now reported them to the state of Arizona!

They showed us the apartment we were going to move in and we signed paper work and everything and while taking a walk through which i suggested then while walking to our future very soon apartment there was mushrooms growing from the carpet and fungus all over the wall i was in shock and the lady showing us was in shock it was big ass mushrooms actually growing from the carpet it was insane i later came back that day and the manager was denying there even was any mushrooms growing she is a liar and sketchy as hell why lie about it then the manager said you can move somewhere else ha thank goodness for the lady showing us the apartment stood up and said there was mushrooms growing but still management needs to be better and check the apartments before moving people in please !!!

Gonna leave this 1 star here for now and update soon on why these apartments are TOTAL GARBAGE.

If I could give less stars than 1 I would for sure!!!!!!!! I moved in on the 1st of June, my apartment has been 80°f+ the a/c unit is 20+y old!!! The handy men they send to fix it, are NOT HVAC certified!!!!!! This alone is illegal, not to mention they have 3+ days to send someone out!!! They do not listen to what you have to say, they will talk over you, you are not a human being when speaking to anyone in charge. The moment you say that you will exercise your rights to withhold rent, they take it as a theat and hang up. This is the worst customer service Ive ever seen or experienced! Once the lease is up I will never recommend this company or complex!!!! Look somewhere else, youre doing yourself a huge favor!!!!!!!!

I lived here in 2012-2013. I had no problems at first until new people moved upstairs. Let me tell you. I had to listen to them having sex, or I should say waking me and my two year old daughter up having sex at two in the morning. After numerous complaints to management and nothing getting done all I could do was make noise complaints to the police department. After I did that, the people who lived above me started harassing me. After I called the police back right after they had left, management called me and said the woman who lived upstairs was willing to talk and work something out. I politely denied the offer after not being heard by management for so long. They then moved me to a new apartment.On another occasion, the redhead who works in the office pulled up by my apartment and I guess my guest was in her way even though they were just dropping something off, she cussed them out and went about her business. Nice customer service.

I went there last week to check out a 2bed 2 bath 1,000 sq ft apartment in this complex that doesnt really look nice from the outside but I have a friend who lives there & pays $860/mo for the 2x2 floorplan & wanted to see if it was worth it. I went into the leasing office and told them Im looking to move in anytime during the next 30 days. He said he only had one that was 2x2 platinum unit for $1,589/MONTH!!! PLUS $50 if you want a washer & dryer. I could barely hear him with the construction in the office literally feet from me but I had him repeat it and that was the price. I laughed so hard. There are some luxury apartments on 7th st &101 that have a bigger 2x2 floor plan with amazing amenities and design starting at $1,2000 called seven. These people at Brockenridge mustve lost their minds. It is a old raggedy apartment complex!!! Unbelievable. Especially with all the bad reviews and complaints they get.

The staff is nice an all but the apartment are not luxury the porch light frame all busted and we been seeing rats on our patio and there also roaches coming from inside of the walls and there toilet flush valve suck have to hold toilet lever just for it to flush all the way our a.c. doesnt work sometimes all meantnace did was change the filter said nothing wrong with it and the most big problem I have that they never told me before I moved in is they only assign one parking space and the other are ussuall y way in the back of apartments and on weekend there never no extra parking when my kids come out of town there never any parking they should put it on the lease or at least let the resident know but Im doing that for them I cant wait to move out and get me a real luxury apartment if you are deciding to move in i dont recommend it all the neighbors are having same problems been going on for a while.

Don’t bother!! New management sucks!!Let me clarify since I can’t reapond to your response, this was not a request that we put in. This is something that you guys have taken upon yourself because of an issue downstairs that didn’t get fixed right the first five times you entered. This isn’t something we asked for so do not try to turn this around on us, and make it sound like we’re upset about you working on something we asked for. That is not the case at all!!!For the past two weeks The maintenance people have been making emergency entrances to my home, to address a leak that has been going on downstairs.This issue should have been fixed the first time I had to stay home from work, missing a days worth in pay, because you were having a plumber come out to address the problem because your maintenance team doesn’t know what they’re doing.Even after having a plumber come out to address what your maintenance team couldn’t the issues still continued. You still continued to wake us up to enter our apartment when we’re not home with poor communication as to what is going on your management in the office had no idea how to explain things to us.We have gone through to two other management companies in the past year and by far your employees are the worst absolute no customer service no empathy they act as though they are superior to all human beings and anyone that comes into the office is bothering them even though that’s their job they should be able to communicate to their tenants the issues that are going on in their buildings and why they keep having to enter the apartment why the issue isn’t fixed and we have gotten none of that except for notes that You had entered our apartment.Today yet again after we were told the problem was fixed, they had to call the plumber out again because the leak is still not fixed, and even with the plumber coming out they only had him put tenporary patches until the complex is ready to fix it the right way.I’ll probably get some automated response to this review telling me to call, well I have sent two emails to corporate and have called and complained about manegment once already, my information is on file you call me!Do not consider this complex, they are going down hill and going downhill fast, not worth the time, or the headache, and that’s saying something because we have lived here for three years, the current management company will be the reason we do not re-sign a lease.

Dina in the office is amazing! She helped me move in quickly, and even stayed late so I could sign my lease after work. My apartment (showlow) is very nice and spacious. My one complaint is that the maintenance is terrible.... Moved in with no working microwave or kitchen outlets, dryer doesnt work in a safe manner ( keeps turning after opening door) also one toilet doesnt flush and the other one makes a horrendous squeeling noise all night. Its been a week since moving in and no sign of maintenance once. :/

I have been here over a year now and renewed my lease for 15 months. This is the best place I have found to date in Arizona with a mix of quality living with affordability. I do have one of the very rare Sedona condo style units and I will never give this up till I have to. Great place to entertain guests and the complex is on it if I ever have an issue. I have even had a few times where things got tight and as long as you keep them informed you are good to pay rent late without any legal issues as long as you understand the past due fees. The only thing I dont like is when it is heavily marked but people still use the one way entrance as an exit. Its not something silly but a safety hazard due to having to come off 7th st so quickly. As well for the fact with that knowledge that it is a one way you can find it unexpected to have someone coming out. But lastly the only thing to keep in mind if you plan to move here and have multiple vehicles outside your carport.. get home at a decent time or you will not be parking close to your place.

I was looking to move and I always believe in checking the area out before I actually go in and ask and fill out paperwork, because you usually don’t get the big picture, and what I found was horrendous. The complex is gated but I rasping drove in, what’s the point of the gates if it’s basically a free for all? I walked around the complex and most of the grassy areas are riddled with piles and piles of dog poop. If I had a dollar for every pile of poop I found I’d have enough money to buy all of the shoeless kids running around the complex (there’s a lot of them) a fresh nice pair of Nikes. I came to this complex on 3 separate occasions because I wanted to give it a chance. They were spread out among 2 weeks. Within that 2 week time span the construction in the very back of the complex had been ongoing and one of apartment that faces the construction had piles of trash sitting by the front door on all 3 occasions, just a breeding ground for vermin. I talked to some of the people that lived in the complex and they all had extremely negative things to say, one said she’d had bed bugs on multiple occasions and was only treated for them once, and the management tried to make her pay for the treatment! There were lots of large dogs and little dogs and they were all friendly however some owners let their dogs run without a leash which is very unsafe. While I was there on my second visit it was mid day and a Saturday and there was a little boy running around with a chihuahua near the park and the chihuahua was biting the kids and one of the older kids had to tell the boy to put the chihuahua away! They lived right on the huge grassy area as well and the chihuahua had no leash so I can only imagine how many times this has happened. On 2/3 occasions I was there, I saw owners letting their dogs poop and walk away from it. There should be some kind of discipline in place because the place is covered in piles of dog poop. After 3 days I finally threw the towel in because this place just wasn’t worth it

I have lived here almost four years and its ok i do agree there are a lot of unattended children in the complex but what can you do about that if they are not yours. For the most part I have not had any major issues when stuff breaks down maintenance comes and fixes it on a timely manner. My neighbors Are friendly and the staff have been nice. And most of all the whole three years I have been here I have never had an issue with any Roaches to me thats a plus in my book. But I will say that the front and both back gates stay broke once one gets fixes the other is broke so I dont get how this is supposed to be a Gated Community when every time you look up the gate is broke. But other then that me and my family enjoy it here and have not had any issues living here.

This is my second year living here and at first it was great, the staff were attentive to every need but then at the end of my first year still no working dishwasher and a roach infestation in my entire apartment building which they would only spray for and if you got luck they might bomb your apartment which will only temporarily solve the problem. My second year I moved into a different unit and guess what they took over a week to put in my washer and dryer which I kept asking about and it wasn’t until I went to the office and told them I have no clean clothes either put in my washer and dryer today or I will charge you the fees I would have to pay at the laundry mat to wash my clothes, so they finally put it in. Unfortunately hey had a temp maintenance service do the job but the guy who did it didn’t bother turning my water back on, just great. I finally get them to turn my water back on but now a few weeks later I have no hot water! This is ridiculous so I guess I’ll have to wait and see if they will fix it. And oh yea the warranty on my water heater expired 2 years ago!!!! You’d think they would keep them updated to avoid complaints but now I seriously think there is an issue not only with the owners but management as well. The only silver lining is one lady in the office, she is a total sweetheart and she listens to every concern and does her personal best to make sure every need is met. If you see this Karen you are an amazing woman and the only thing good about this place!!!

Horrible mistake of signing 12 month lease.These people dont care about any issues with your neighbors. No matter how many complaints you have just means nothing to them. They lie to you in the face telling you that the neighbors are being relocated due to so many issues and after theyre supposed to move them I found that that was just to let the dust settle. As far as the neighbors are concerned issues such as loud Mexican music that is blasted at 4am and doesnt stop until 8am then resumes at 9pm and goes on into the early hours. Dogs urinate on the balcony which drips down onto my daughters shoes, toys etc. The neighborhood seemed to turn into section 8 living quarter. Drugs and gangs have seemed to be moving in lately. Im glad the lease is almost up and will be moving out of this hell they claim to be luxury. Believe me nothing luxurious about this dump.

The apartments are spacious for the price and thats about it. God forbid you have two cars cuz there is no space near your apartment, appliances are outdated or constantly breaking, and things are fixed with the least work done as possible. Our cabinets were painted shut when we moved in, the towel rack was right above the toilet which didnt allow us to even hang one, and outlets are dead all over. Also, when we went to get internet, they had to send a repair man because the wiring was so bad they said. Our dryer took 3 times through to dry anything and when we mentioned this, they said do smaller loads (we did).

Nice place, no bugs, covered parking, and great staff! I am not sure why others are having problems with bugs, maybe I just got lucky in the unit I have!

Since getting new management theyve changed the process to pay rent. Unfortunately I would be late this month. Ive been trying to get online to pay it, but they switched the website around to where i cant even log in to guest login its telling me invalid account. The other option is WIPS but I didnt get a chance to get the card because Ive been busy with work and not having enough time to stop by, thinking it could still be convenient for me to still pay online. Im hoping they do not charge me the extra $30 because I wont be able to talk or ask anyone at the office until Monday because they changed there hours to be closed pn weekends.Besides all this Ive have had sooo many stuff break down and the same issues keep reoccurring. Honestly cant wait for my lease to be up. 7 more months!

Best thing about this place is the dog park. Keys dont work for the pools. The apartment I rent was built incorrectly so I cant open my fridge or oven all the way without scraping the molding to the pantry door. Vending I spent two months waiting for a new kitchen light after sending them multiple requests. My porch and stairs are a safety hazard, falling apart more everyday. Kids always sitting on them and try to start fights with me when I ask them to move while I take out my dog. They have no communication skills and the management is lazy and rude. The only one on their staff I like is the short haired older lady. Very sweet.

I wish to God I could give this place one star. It is an absolute travesty that anyone lives here. 1st of all: roaches. I am by no means the most cleanly person, but never in my life had I had roaches infesting my apartment. Everywhere. Kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom. Everywhere. You clean and clean and theyre always there. Ive found them on my bed before. I barely sleep.Water is ALWAYS off. Like not exaggerating at least once every other month to fix a water line issue that theyve been fixing for two years now. The AC is garbage. Running constantly when it hits above 70. They said it was a design flaw. And didnt seem to care that the back rooms hit well over 80 even with the AC running ALL DAY LONG.The floors creak. You feel like youre about to fall through them. Completely uneven and dilapidated.Took them two weeks to bring us a new fridge, during which time all of our food rotted. Over 160$ in food gone. They never reimbursed us.Garbage disposal is broken, therefor so is the dishwasher. All of our pipes are constantly clogged, water pressure, almost non existent.One time air got trapped in the lines during their water line repair. The noise, Was deafening. For weeks. Kept my 2 year old and myself up at all hours. It never stopped. Just constantly this loud, wall shaking noise. Finally one day they cam to FINALLY do something about it, and since they would be in my apartment, I stayed all day. Well after the window, as I was packing my son up to go somewhere, they stroll up the stairs. I asked what happened and they simply replied that they had forgotten.I was so furious. I was running on less than two hours of sleep a night for over two weeks.Then there was the fire. One of the back building went up in flames one night. Ten to twelve residents displaced. We soon found out what happened to them.They lived out of their cars in a Circle K parking lot. No help from anyone in the apartment complex. They were living out of their cars.This place is a hazard to ones health. If it isnt the roaches and the tell-tale signs of mold, its the stairs that shake as you walk, or the banister we cant touch for fear itll fall over, it is causing you so much stress that you make yourself sick. This place is a joke and I, for one, am glad that my son has spilled grape juice on the carpet and theyll have to deal with that when we leave, as well as all of the other issues that they refuse to fix so they can rope in another unsuspecting tenant in with that luxury BS they tout.All in all, these are only SOME of the horrendous issues weve had at this location. We will be moving as soon as our lease is up.

Ive lived here since January of 2013. The only reason I am still here is because of the my kids and their schools. June 2013 my 2 bedroom apartment burned down in the middle of the night. We had to grab our kids and run. My neighbors on top had to throw her kids out the window praying someone caught them properly. Then jump out herself breaking her leg. They put us in a 3 brd for the same price. Which was kind of them, I guess.. so we stayed. Mothers day of 2017 we come home from a long day, to a smokey apartment. My air conditioning wiring had an issue, every time it kicked on it sparked the wiring on fire. Went without ac for that night and the next day. They replaced the unit, which did not fit! Took forever to repair the wall and they never repainted my accent wall like promised. The building next to mine caught on fire november 2017. Where we rushed out of apt in the middle of the night. Again! Dogs died, people were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries due to having to jump out the windows to save their lives. renewed my lease febuary of 2018 because I didnt have very many options, and moved to a down stairs apt. My kitchen light went out, took a month to replace it. There is always nasty mattresses and mounds of trash around the dumpsters that sit there for days and smell horrible. My building had a clog, I came home to a nasty smelling house and sh*t sitting in my tubs. They had the clog fixed but told me I had to clean the bathrooms myself. Today we had a second building clog. My tubs are full of sh*t water. This occurred at 830am. The emergency plummer didnt show up til 615pm. We cant use our showers, toilets, etc. The office still closed at normal time and everyone went home. Leaving me and my kids without. How do you tell a five year they cant use their toilet? No compensation for all the things Ive had to throw away due to the sh*t water back up, nothing for the amount of cleaning products Ive had to use to clean up their mess. Its unsanitary and just wrong! I have endless photos of all these occurrences, I do not reccomend this place at all. My lease is ending within a few months and I will do whatever it takes to move. I work alot of hours and have a house full, I just wanna feel safe and comfortable at the end of the day. Not cleaning my neighbors sh*t out of my bathrooms for hours after a long day.

Worst place I ever lived, theres cockroaches everywhere. My lights went out in my Mitch and it took them a month to get the lightbulb to fix it. My dishwasher flooded and nobody did anything, theres also black mold growing the bathrooms, its disgusting. Also the water pipes burst every month or so, the gates never work, and theyr e trying to charge me for gate cars and keys I never received from them. Theyre ridiculous.

I have lived here for 3 months and upon moving in we were showed this amazing model apartment by Karen in the front office. I asked to walk the apartment two days upon move in , Carpet was disgusting. They said it was scheduled to be cleaned the next day . Upon move in the carpet was still wet from being clean and disgusting to step on. I now have to wash my feet off before getting into bed every night because the carpet makes your feet black. We have had multiple problems with our upstairs neighbor, i thought maybe if i go introduce myself and ask if she can just keep it down a little because i work overnight and need sleep. She then screamed in my face and i called the office. The office told me that she wanted to talk to me but she didnt even apologize. Upon other incidents with her and her kids being noisy i called the police twice, and called blue steel security several times. She harrassed my mother and I on multiple occasions. She has now moved to a different unit. We started seeing cockroaches and we called 5 times to be put on the list to be sprayed . We were only put on the list once. All throughout the month of october we were supposed to be sprayed for cockroaches but nobody came. We wrote a letter to the office stating we will be holding our rent ,if we werent bombed for bugs that tuesday. We have also called because we have a rat in our laundry room. The office manager paula told me they came to your apartment to spray, your dog was loose in the hall. My dog is never loose when Im not home. She is ALWAYS in the cage if Im not home. Today, we caught the rat ourselves and I called the front office for someone to come get it, Monica answered and told me we only have one maintenance guy on staff so well see if he can get to it. The maintenance guy eventually came and got it off the trap and let it go for it to just come running back to our laundry room. My brother had to catch it with a shoebox because the maintenance guy didnt know what he was doing. On top of that our dishwasher has broken 4 times and it has taken a full 2 weeks each time it broke to actually be fixed. Our washing machine broken and it took a whole week and a half to be fixed. Then again on top of that our water heater broke and we just now got it fixed upon calling 2 1/2 weeks ago. People let there dogs jump all over you if you walk into the dog park. The office NEVER answers the phone. And if you leave a voicemail they NEVER get back to you. You have to call a minimum of 5 times before they answer. The office management is very rude. They never do anything for you. Breckenridge is a joke. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE !!!!

This place is horrible if i could leave no stars i would. I have only been living here a week and upon move in there was cockroaches crawling around the corners of the apartment, not only that but there was mold in the bathroom above the shower. The garbage disposel broke the first day i moved in which was a Friday i told them about it that day and they informed me that maitnace didnt work over the weekend i was very understanding about it. The lady told me they would be here first thing on Monday. It is now tuesday afternoon and no one has came i went to the office and they acted as if they didnt care even tho i informed them it is stagnate water and nats are starting to breed, and the smell is so bad when you walk in the apartment you want to throw up. I Dont recomemnd anyone to live here i am goin to buy out of my lease within the first month its that bad.

Lived here for 4 months now. The reviews are accurate. If you are thinking about moving in to these luxury appartments. Just keep on driving. Rent through the roof. They serve you eviction papers on the first day. The office hasnt schedualed my service call to fix my dishwasher. Yet I tell them everyday. My AC has broken 3 times leaving my place at like 85 or 90 when I get home. The service guy is fantastic. But the office is just greedy and lazy. Kathy is awesome. They bait and switch with her. Nice awesome woman to show you around. And a group of angree managers stuck in the office. Read the contracts before signing them. Thats what they lead with. Not friendly. Not helping. I hate this place. I have a 6mth old my air went out. It took them 3week to come fix it. Then my kitchen light went out I called them twice the lady told me they will get there when ever they want.My stairs to my apartment are losse. Management sucks. Dont live at that place! They ask for everyone to help repaint are you for reals ?! Dont let them fool you with the remodeling one they show they look nothing like that.

Extremely poor maintenance service! My toilet overflowed all over my bathroom so I called 24hr maintence, they said they would come but never did. The next day I called again early that morning & they didnt arrive until later that evening. (My bathroom still soaked in toilet water, mind you). They did a half ass job & left their machine still tucked under my carpet for 2 days. Now mushrooms are sprouting from my damn carpet, mold has formed. I work 2 jobs with long hours & I am absolutely livid at the fact I have to live like this due to their negligence!

This place has seriously gone down hill. Between the murder suicide, the young man that was shot point blank in his front doorway, listening to the couple next to us and across from us get beat by their husbands. The children here host fights between other children and videotape the fights, guess they lead by example. If you say anything to the children about being disrespectful to you or your property be prepared to be called every name in the book. The dogs here are very aggressive, my dog has been attacked 3 different times and the complex turns a blind eye and says call the police, the police say theres nothing we can do, call the humane society, who tells you to call the police. Jacked. The front and back gates here are a complete joke, they never work, mostly because the kids here like to cut the chains on the gate! They say that there is security but you NEVER see them, EVER! The electricity bill here is $260 in the summer because the windows and doors have gaps so big you can see the light coming thru, not to mention the small flies that come thru the pipes from all the water problems this complex has. Every 2-4 months they have to shut the water off from 8-3pm but its gone past 3pm before, actually its gone to 6pm before! Oh did I mention the problem with the peeping Tom who was taking pictures of children on the playground?! I can go on and on about how terrible this place is, stay away!Update: problems have only got worse at the months went on, now we have a termite problem which makes our balcony a safety hazard( we live on the 2nd floor) you can not lean against the balcony without it shaking or shifting. Still have issues with disrespectful children, my neighbor has had 2 separate sets of mirrors broken off her car while parked overnight. Our neighbors in the unit to the left of us host amateur fight nights and place bets, and no I dont mean on the TV, they fist fight each other in front of the unit! Office just turns a blind eye and tells you to call the police. Children run around with dogs off leash with parental supervision which would be fine if the dogs were not aggressive. Ive witnessed my neighbor have a German Shepard mix aggressively jump towards her face while she was protecting her son from the dog which is under the care of a 12 year old. The security guards sit in their cars on their phones instead of walking the property, our truck has been broken into 3 times one of which my neighbor just so happened to be coming home and witnessed them trying to break in. The robbers continued to shuffled thru the truck even with our neighbor parked right next to them! There are 2 sets of beat up trucks that patrol the complex looking for things to steal, a white truck and a red truck. Do yourself a favor and stay far away! Dont fall for the reviews of great living. Lies!

OMG....Dont even look there, if there was a rating with no stars, they would get it. We lived there almost 13 months, our neighbor flooded us out 4 times,We had blowers running for 3 days straight , four times. The management said they would take care of it, but time after time after time, it was slow to not moving at all. Kids screaming at all hours of the morning , noon and night. Unattended most of the times. When it rains, most of the apartment walking path is flooded for days after. All I can say is if your looking here...DONT!!!!

I privately rent my condo and would prefer it that way regardless. The unit its self is nice, lots of upgrades and space. The parking can be an issue because we live in a cul de sac that has NO uncovered parking and people with NO brains occasionally park in your covered parking so make sure you get your Tenant Towing Card so you can automatically call and get them towed. The community its self is decent, its got an array of ethnicity and backgrounds. Safe, for the most part calm, family oriented and laid back. The buss stop comes straight to the side gate. I am not a fan of the security guard, he tends to be a two faced D. The ladies in the office are nice and share there complimentarys. The area has everything you need and isnt a dump like south Phx. The elementary school is down the road and my child seems to like it there.Over all, we enjoy living here and will most likely continue privately renting the same unit for a few years.

I agréé with Zack. Manager ignore your compliants. Appliances break down numerous of times . There staff Nevers Stay to long, bécasse théy try and help tenants out. Thé people in thé office ; told me thé owners dont want To pay for thé supplies, To keeping up with maintenance issues.

My apartment burned down almost exactly 1 year ago, fire started in neighboring apartment. The worst place I have ever lived

We moved to this apartment thinking we were going to be staying for a long time. After 6 months our eyes were opened wide. My 8 year old was riding his bike (within the apartment complex) and was hit by a car (he was ok, but his bike was totaled). My 12 year old was bullied by other kids (rocks thrown at him, name calling, threatened, etc). We tried to talk to these kids, but they just started screaming at us (so I took a video to show management). Managements solution was to write a letter to the HOA (as some of the units are available to purchase). We never received any form of resolution (letter, meeting, etc). Our 12 year old was accused of damaging a CONCRETE TRASH CAN - to which my response was show me the proof and I will pay for the damages - then we find out that some other child did it - no apology given. After this incident we started to receive threatening letters from the office (renters insurance lapse - our policy is with our car insurance and renews every 6 months; notice that they were not going to renew our lease once it was up - We always paid on the 1st - because if you did not they charged you a late fee - no grace period).We had mushrooms growing in the middle of the apartment (I called maintenance - they came in, pulled the carpet away from the wall took the mushrooms out and got ready to leave. I asked if they were going to spray anything and he said no - so I offered my Lysol can as it was the only disinfectant I had at the time). Every month I had to have maintenance come to the apartment for something broken. We left as soon as our lease was up! NOT WORTH YOUR TIME!

If I could give this complex 0 stars, I would gladly do so. I have lived in 4 different apartment complexes over the past 7 years and this is by far the worst. I would say you get what you pay for, but Ive lived in cheaper places that were much nicer than this DUMP. The first thing I want to bring to attention is the fact that there are kids running around the complex unattended at all hours of the day and night, and when the complex floods when it rains, they swim in the dirty water with the parents no where to be found. When I brought this to the managements attention they just shrugged it off like it was no big deal. The managers here have NO clue what they are doing, and there is absolutely no communication between the two of them. I have lived in 2 different apartments in this complex. When moving out of the first apartment, the maintenance manager inspected our apartment and told us not to bother with cleaning our carpet because it had been 4 years since they had replaced it and they would legally have to do so before letting the next tenant move in. About a week after moving into our new complex, we received a note on our door asking for about 800$ for the replacement carpet. After multiple phone conversations with the management the best they could do was pay for half of the carpet, leaving me with a 400$ bill for carpet I was told I didnt need to clean/replace. After months of refusing to pay for the carpet, the amount they asked for magically started to go down every time they would leave a notice on my door. This is a money hungry complex. The next biggest issue I have with this complex is the fact that there is no grace period for late rent. EVERY other apartment complex I have ever lived in didnt charge a late fee till the 3rd of the month, here its 15$ a day for every day past the first of the month. One manager even charged me an administrative fee for being late on rent, while the other didnt. There is never ANY parking in this place. They require a sticker on each car of every resident so they know not to tow you, but if you walk around over 80% of the cars dont have the required sticker yet they never seem to tow any cars. The appliances are horrible and constantly breaking. I have maintenance in my apartment about once a week, and they always seem to be fixing the same thing they didnt do correctly the first time. There are constantly police officers in and out of the complex, along with police helicopters circling over the complex just about every night. If you are looking to rent here I STRONGLY advise going elsewhere. Im sure the 6 other complexes in the 2 square mile radius are much nicer and a lot more on top of their game.
