I was looking for a nice apartment with great ammenties and I found them. They are quick to respond to issues, dont have bug issues, and very polite office staff. Maintenance is amazing and responds quickly. Valet trash pick up is amazing. The office to all is very helpful. Very clean pool always sparkling. I would highly recommend it here. Apartments are very spacious and very clean.

Staff is horrible here. Please dont take your business here youll be very disappointed. Rent is due on the first and hefty fines come if paid on the second because its considered late.

Worst Experience of my Family Life - We moved here temporarily while our house was being built. We’re extremely disappointed in your company not easing on the lease agreement since the conditions of living in unit #3066 were so horrible. The unit was not move in ready. The garage was dirty unsweep and garage door didn’t work. Paint drops were left all over the floors from the painters, and the horrible hole in the ceiling in the master bedroom that maintenance cut that was open to the outside deck. We later found dry wall dust all over our bedroom furniture, bedding and TV that we had to clean up. The hole in the ceiling was left open for 36 hours to let any bug or insect into our room. We couldn’t even sleep in our bedroom. Later someone from your team taped up the holes while we watched bugs fly around inside the plastic at night. A cricket even got up there and chirped all night long. This is one of the worst experiences of our lives. I run several business and value my customers. I value that they got what they paid for. We did not get what we were promised, luxury living in apartments.Be warned! They will make you pay two months rent to get out of your lease. Or they will destroy your credit. We gladly paid it!

I walked in at 4:35, knowing the office closed at 5 but was really hoping that I could at least see some amenities or do a quick tour since I driven all the way up from Tempe to tour this property. When I walked in the lady very sleepily asked me what time it was, and when I told her she said sorry but they stop tours at 4:15. So I can kind of understand tour times, which were not on the website, but I even mention to her I had driven all the way up from Tempe and I had no idea when I would be able to come back to this area to have another tour. She didnt care or even attempt to help. The office is next to the pool area and she could have if nothing else at least showed me a couple of amenities but her complete lack of wanting to help someone who had driven 35 miles blew my mind. There was no one else in the office that she needed to help, and this made me not want to even try to come back.

Worst experience of my life! Shadiest people ever! Don’t live there unless you want to be taken advantage of! My family moved out more than 3 years ago and I just received a notice for the First time that they are going after us for damages when we moved out! When we moved in the paint job and carpet was horrible condition and it was filthy I had to clean it myself and took pictures and the manager asked for a copy of my pictures and I gave It to her! When we moved I left forwarding information which has never changed in over three years( phone numbers, emails, address) I asked for proof that they sent me a bill or contacted me about this bill they said they didn’t have to have proof and didn’t have any! They kept our security deposit so I thought everything was fine and the apartment was in bad condition when we moved in so why should I have to pay for what they should have to fix when we move out It needed to be painted and carpet replaced and guess what we are getting charged for both!! What a scam! This should be illegal!!! They have lied non stop! It was so easy to get a hold of us and why now I have no idea maybe they need money! But now they are threatening to ruin our credit and all that which is ridiculous!

Worst place ever lived. Noise was terrible. Dogs barking all day an night. When you live above garages it vibrates and make so much noise you will never get any sleep. Called, never fixed. Dogs in the pool area and in pool. People smoking at pool, kids running around, food all over the ground. Gym not air conditioner an thermostat is locked. The only rules enforced are the lease. Moved out 2 weeks early do to family emergency aftergiving 60 day notice. Left place spotless no refund. Most dishonest people ever met.

Ill start with maintenance, which is the only quality aspect of this complex. 5/5 maintenance crew. Always prompt and very professional.Office staff is 2/5. Two people work the front, a male and a female. The female is extremely unpleasant and very frustrating to even talk to let alone deal with on any professional level, Im unsure how she even has a job dealing directly with people.The male is slightly better but equally as frustrating, he has a more professional manner about himself. The manager tries hard and genuinely seems to care about the issues you might be dealing with, all in all they arent worth the money you pay to live here.Now the apartment. 0/5. Looks nice on the outside and inside but its just bait to get you in to a lease. There is ZERO proper insulation in this place. You hear your neighbors do EVERYTHING. They turn on a light switch, open a cabinet, you might as well be doing the same thing because its easily heard. The stomping around is so awful you would think the person was wearing concrete shoes and purposely trying to aggravate you. The garage door openers are placed directly next to master bedrooms. You can imagine how loud the grinding is very often. The cost you pay per month is not worth the extreme amount of sound this place generates. Management can do next to nothing about the sound. This place was poorly built and is certainly held together with cheaper quality materials and they went another direction when it came to properly insulating this complex.The neighbors are generally pleasant but no one seems to care about parking or the rules. They care even less about dogs and the rules that apply to them. Multiple residents have banned dogs or more then the amount allowed.I have lived in many, many apartment complexes over the years and this one takes the cake with the worst ever. If you value your sleep I recommend going anywhere else, if you work nights this complex is NOT for you, your sleep will drop to a miserable amount.

These people are unethical. They make you pay everything up front with cashiers checks and then when it comes to returning your deposit, they are not honest and lie about what needs to get cleaned, even if you left the place perfectly clean and undamaged. At checkout they I did the walk-through and they told me everything looked great minus a few mini blind pieces torn which was going to be $9. And that I would get a check in the mail for my $300 deposit. Now, theyve come up with all sorts of other fees including a carpet cleaning so instead of getting a $300 deposit back I actually owe them $6! We were only there a little over a month in between houses. We actually spent very little time at the apartment because we were managing the remodel of our new house.It is a terrible business model, and incredibly unprofessional and unethical to treat people this way.When you first rent they are super nice and towards the end they are incredibly rude.You can see in the photos I took at move in, the stained carpet they claimed was our fault. Also, the fridge was always freezing and ruining our food, yet we never complained since we were there such short time. The washer left our clothes with a terrible smell! And, the faucet water was way too chlorinated, honestly it smelled worse than pool water.And last but almost the worst, the apartment had an overall terrible smell that made me nauseous every time I was there, so we had to buy a heavy duty air purifier.

Well just renewed my lease! Love it here. Kelly at the front office is so nice and great and the girls are very helpful. The maintenance is always prompt at fixing just about anything. I ran into the patio door and bent it lol The guy came over and replaced it. The rent is very reasonable, the location is great and mostly safe and its pretty quite. We did get some new noisy neighbor (didnt really phase me, but I know that there are plenty of mature people in the property that does not like it) and management handled it pretty well. The pool is great its always heated, the only downside is that it closes at 9 =( Gym is pretty good too. Its always clean. The spaces between apartment building is very generous so I dont feel claustrophobic. Overall, Im very happy here.

Love it here! Been here 2.5 years, The staff is great, quiet neighborhood & beautiful views. If I didnt get a new job Id stay, sad to leave. Ill miss the hot air balloons in the morning. This complex has no issues with parking either which I like.

We have lived here almost 4 years. The mgr Jami and Kristen are so nice and helpful. The maintenance crew are one of the best and very trustworthy. The grounds and pool area are kept nice.Highly recommend this apartment complex.

Great apartment complex. Very well maintained. Office staff very helpful and friendly. Landscape is well maintained, no trash laying around. If you need anything fixed in your apartment or want your carpets cleaned, they do it right away! They have a pool, game room, playgrounds for the kids, even a dog park!! Very pet friendly place. Close to I17, Frys grocery store, fuel station, a pet store, Auto Zone, Burger King, Barros, Starbucks (inside Frys), a nice sit down restaurant called Limòn. The Frys is a super center so they have clothing, shoes, office supplies etc. The pet store is called Pet Planet. Its an AMAZING store. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about all their products.

This apartment complex is horrible. I have documents and more to show everyone that they will rip you off and then try and charge you for rent for not moving in. I signed the lease but my wife didn’t because she wanted to see the actual apartment we were supposed to get they refused to show us and then decided to show it 6 hours before the move in date. We didn’t have time to turn anything on and they sent a bill for us breaking a lease that we didn’t completely sign. On top of all this we told them at this time we cannot take the apartment do to me not qualifying for the rent amount because I don’t have my job anymore no income because my 4 month old is in the hospital with pneumonia. They still sent a bill when we didn’t complete the lease again. We are filling a law suite on the whole complex and each 3 ladies that work there. They are rude and obviously forged My wife signer to charge us. Do not move here they do illegal things.

Weren’t able to move in due to my wife’s medical complications and these guys tried to charge us over $22,000!!! No walk through and never got the keys to the apartment.Lies and fraud!!! Do not go here!!!Response: Thats a flat out lie! We specifically told you guys that the reason for us moving up in that area was because my wife was transferred to the Mayo Clinic. Then you told us that we would only be charged until the apartment is rented which was usually about a full month. But according to your bill... It takes you guys an entire year to rent out an apartment? Weird because you sent us that huge bill in a little over a week after the ordeal. Thanks for showing how you help out veterans! And as you can see... Im a Google guide for Phoenix. Hopefully this will educate others on your procedures and deter them from making the same mistake.

Considering Ive read every review at my disposal online before deciding to sign a lease at Los Colinas, I decided to write a review to clarify some things that other people have been writing. First of all my initial impression was great of this property. After looking at lots of unmaintained and dingy apartments in the north phoenix community, I knew that seeing an impeccable property would be my first choice. So I signed my lease and hoped that I wouldnt run into any problems. When I first walked in to my unit the place was spotlessly clean. Ive learned that its an incredibly quiet community with lots of friendly people around. Even the maintenance guys wave and smile at you. I learned that its under new ownership, and the complaints of the new owners were probably them just working out the kinks. So far Ive loved the cleanliness, quietness, and friendliness of the community. Yes, there are a few ghetto people walking around every now and then, but thats just phoenix. Yes, theres no rent drop box, but theyre open seven days a week and honestly, if you dont know how to pay your rent online then Id be ashamed. My only complaint would be that the dog park still isnt built which I was told would be there soon. The pool and fitness center are nice, shopping right around the area, and even though I dont have kids I heard the schools are great. Considering what other places in phoenix are charging for rent, this place is worth every penny.

The apartments are nice but once you move out they’ll hit you with ridiculous charges that will eat up your entire deposit and then send you a cleaning bill for an additional several hundred dollars. This place is all about scamming you after you leave. Stay away!

Do not rent from here! This apartment complex has done nothing but jam us at every turn. We set up automatic deposit which didn’t take money out of our account when rent was due. 10 Days after while we were out of town we had a eviction notice on our door. It was only because of our kind heated neighbor that we knew about the notice and the court date that we would have missed if she hadn’t told us. No phone call or email. I called them trying to resolve the problem and was told that it was my fault. That as a renter it was my responsibility to make sure that rent was paid it was by no means their system’s failure that caused the rent to be late. I was also told that it was not their responsibility to call or email me because if they did that they’d be on the phone all day. It took longer to drive to my door then it did to simply call me. Mind you we always paid rent early and never gave them any reason to consider us “bad renters”. They also have no problem calling me to tell me my dog was on the poarch for 5 min while I was in the bathroom or emailing me to tell me they changed my light bulb. Because of this insident we decided to move out since we are out of town often and did not trust this facility. I gave them a container for paint so that I could repaint a wall. They told me it would take 2 Days to fill a small mason jar and that they would call me. After giving them 2 weeks I called them since they had yet to contact me. They told me they decided not to give me touch up paint since they decided to repaint the apartment and would not charge me for nail holes but would charge me if there was any damage bigger then that on the wall. I then spent an hour at Home Depot color matching so that I could paint. Our last day was October 4th. I went into the office and handed in my keys and asked if there was anything else I needed to do to wrap things up and was told no by the manager Jamie. My husband got a call at work on the 8th that we owed an extra $100 for a late fee on top of the $140 for the extra 4 Days and that he needed to get off and go in that day before they closed so that they could close our account or else they would charge us another $1100 for the whole month. Again no email or phone call before hand. He then busted his butt to get there with a money order check since they said we could not pay online because it would take a day to come threw and by that point we’d owe for the whole month. We thought that since rent was due on the first of every month for the month before that they’d charge that amount for our September rent or wait until the first of November to have us pay for October. Never once was I told that anything would be due on the forth. My husband got there at 5:15 and there was a sign on the door saying they’d be back at 5:30 mind you they close at 6. He is still there and we’ll see if they even come back to take the check. They never told me on the 4th when I was in that I owed money on that day even when I specifically asked if there was anything else I needed to do to wrap up our account. I guess we’ll see if we get our deposit back or if they’ll try to scam us out of that as well.

This place is NOT what it was 3 years ago. Management is a joke. They will tell you one thing and do something completely different. The Assistant Manager, Dale, is a womanizer, I chose not to deal with him after being here less than a year. A HUGE word of advice...make sure you record every conversation you have with their maintenance foreman, Nick. He will tell you one thing and tell the Manager and Asst Manager something totally different. I am so glad that I recorded my pre walk-through inspection when I gave my 60 day notice because it will come in handy if I have to go to small claims court. You should definitely spare yourself the headache and look at all of the other complexes in the area. I wish I knew then what I know now.

I have lived here over 3 years now and loved it initially. Once they switched office personnel it all went downhill from there. Michelle (or as we call her No-No) loves saying NO to everything. Not even an option or hey Im swamped right now can you give me 10 mins or so just a flat out NO. I have never in my life received such terrible service. Andy in the office is the saving grace. We had our rent go through 2 times (tried to take it 3 times) and we were told it would take over 2 weeks to refund an obvious double payment. We stopped payment on them and got charged late fees (which were waived) and returned check fees WHICH WERE NOT WAIVED! I asked for corporate phone number and they refused to give it to me and told me to email them instead. Well I did and guess what NO RESPONSE. I have emailed several times and nothing back. Michelle tells us No for our packages, NO to talk to jamie the manager, NO to getting phone numbers, NO for everything! I have worked customer service for over 10 years and expect a much higher quality of service for somewhere I am paying over $1300 a month for a 2 bedroom. I cannot wait to get out of this place. I would have never left until i bought a house but now i CANNOT WAIT to get out of here. The noise from my neighbors shorts my ceiling fan lights and they blow constantly, the dog poop everywhere is nuts (not the complexes fault), they are far from luxury and in need of some serious updates. Nick and Brett the onsite maintenance are WONDERFUL. Always kind, always smiling and waving at you. If it wasnt so expensive to break my lease I would have done so long ago.

The maintenance is horrible and so many people have moved out due to their lack of care or attention to issues. Would not recommend moving here unless the management changes.
