If I could give zero stars I would. I am a new customer and every trash only day they have missed my pick up. Ive called and they say they will send a truck each time the truck never came and Ive had to call again this time a truck just flat out didnt come and now Ive got to hope a storm wont come and knock my trash all over the yard. I will say one positive thing they people are very nice when you call other than that not alot of good to say and I generally dont write bad reviews. I will be canceling my service come Monday.

Big THANK YOU for taking 120 bags of yard waste bags! My husband and I did a new yard project last weekend thinking it would be easy breezy. We quickly realized after we made a mess that it was going to take several hours over several days to clean up and also requiring a lot more yard waste bags than what we expected. I spoke with the guy that was picking them up and he was very understanding and took them all without hesitation. This definitely wasn’t expected but very much appreciated. Trust me when I say we won’t be doing this type of project again. 😀

We just recently moved and Ronald from Papillion Sanitation, was so helpful! Weve used Papillion Sanitation for years and wanted to continue service at our new home but some of the map services arent recognizing our new address so it took a little time but Ronald got everything set up correctly and made things very easy for myself and my family. Even when I changed some dates Ronald helped me again and was very professional and courteous in doing so. My son loves to bring back the emptied trash bins all along our street. He waits outside every Friday to wave and say hello. A couple of Fridays ago he was thrilled when Scotty stopped and let him push the buttons to raise up and dump our trash can. Great service and great people!

Horriable service. Forced to use them and they take advantage of that. In the 5 months we have been their customer we have had to call about missed trash pick up more times then ever but o they want to fee you for everything if you forget. Best believe if my area had another option Papillion Sanitation would not be on their radar.

Ive been with them for a few months. Not happy. I called to schedule extra pick-up as we missed our date. First day I called said they would come out never did! Second time I called they said sorry and they will come out, never did! Third time I called they said they would come out, never did. Now its time to look for someone new because it doesnt seem like they want my business! I hear Abes is pretty good!!UpdateI called Abs and the are cheaper! Very nice! I dont know why Papillion did not care but on to better things!

They replaced Premier Waste Solutions in a hostile takeover and did a TERRIBLE job of communicating their “policies”. We are left to guess what they’ll take and what they won’t often by seeing it sit by the curb after they’ve passed by. Yard waste, paper sacks, who knew? Last week it didn’t matter. Boxes, 2x4 feet. Two weeks ago didn’t matter? Do they have to be in the container? Guess we will find out in two weeks since they only recycle every other pickup day. If you like surprises, you’ll love Papillion Sanitation, cause you never know what they’ll take. What’s no surprise, is you’ll be left disappointed in their service.

I’ve called NINE times in 2021 because our trash/recycling wasn’t picked up. They skip our side of the street WEEKLY and get defensive when you tell them how horrible they are. They make excuses about it every single time. Takes another day or 2 to come back out to get the trash they forgot. Put the supervisors on route to show how they are routing their pick up service. Fix the problem at the source instead of just telling us you’ll come back another day to pick it up. There’s tons of unemployed workers who are HARD WORKERS. Hire some new people or find a way to train better

Honestly this company’s service is very disappointing. My husband works long shifts in the medical field, and I have a newborn daughter. And whenever I take the trash out. It NEVER get picked up. I must not be “following their particular rules” Which, I honestly don’t even know the rules. but it is the most irritating and frustrating thing to leave my baby inside, to hobble down the trash cans down to the street. Wake up the next morning to see they didn’t get picked up, because “I didn’t. Put them on the curb right, or the lid is partially open, or they aren’t in the right order”.I’m sad to see this customer service.

Ive tried to call 4 times to set up service at our new address and waited for 20 minutes + each time and never was able to talk with someone. We used Papillion at our last address and they always picked up the phones right away. Apparently with the new acquisition things have went to the wayside. I guess we will have to start business with a different company.

Lost great service when Premier sold out. Recycling pickup every other week is UNSAT. We fill the bin each week with Premier, and now have to overload our trash with recyclable material in the off weeks. NOT a good environmental plan! Management claims we get a lower cost due to every other week, but the actual cost per pickup is more since we lost 1/2 of our recycle pickups per billing cycle. What a sham!

I was bummed when Papillion Sanitation bought Premier Waste Solutions. We pay more for less pick up. (Recycling is every other week). Their customer service is slow, the frequently miss pickups...about 30% of the time. If there was another option, we’d go with that. When you call to check on pickups, we’re told the driver is done for the day. We’ve gone a week without any pickups before. What a waste.

Another month, another issue. Even though we were told that July 4th would not delay pickup, our subdivision has yet to be picked up. A papillion sanitation truck has been sitting in the cul du sac for an hour+. My husband called and was on hold, initially 8th in line. When he was next in line, his call was terminated at 5. Such poor service. If I could rate them a 0, I would. I miss Premier Waste Solutions and wish we were never forced to deal with such a pitiful company.

Ever since Papillion Sanitation took over Premier, I’ve been met with nothing but rude employees and unprofessional responses. One week our pickup would be 3:30 pm, then next 7am, it was never consistent. We actually canceled our service with them. I called to confirm that our containers would be picked up today. I was told that they are 3 or 4 days behind on cart pickup, so it might be tomorrow, might be Wednesday, possibly Thursday. Basically, had I not called, I would have no idea they are behind. I asked to be notified once they were going to pick up our multiple carts, (because they are out blowing around in the wind) and was told they will not do that and to leave them out. Unprofessional, in my opinion, not to let clients, or former clients, know that they are that far behind. So glad to have canceled this company, especially after the conversation today.

We used to have Premier and we were very happy with them. They picked up recycling every week and their communication was great. It’s a good thing we have a neighborhood Facebook group to let us know that our service is changing days and that we are only going to have recycling every other week. Some people in the neighborhood got notices while others did not. We had to go out of our way to download the app to confirm because we have heard NOTHiNG from PS. Terrible communication. Do not recommend.

We have placed 4 calls to this company. On our 3rd call we waited about 20 min to talk to a live person. The guy on the phone was apologetic for missing our trash on Tuesday and today it was already Wednesday afternoon, so they would be out Thursday to pick up our missed trash and the neighbors. Ok great. It’s now 2:30pm, Thursday and no pick up yet. My wife called them this morning and left a detailed message and was told someone would be calling her back. So 3 calls and no return phone calls? Come on, where is your customer service? Funny thing, we have cameras on the front of our house and you could see the truck go right on by our house and start picking up 2 houses passed ours!

Ive just moved into an apartment off Park Ave, and the trash behind my building has been overflowing for more than a week. Finally saw a truck come to pick up, take a look at the mess and leave. Added 8.18.21Another missed pick up for our entire neighborhood. That makes 10 times in 9 months. Customer Service rep just said sorry Ill forward this on to the supervisor, bye.Original: Papillion Sanitation is bad, take my advice and use a different waste pick up service. PS purchased Premier Trash service around November of 2020. During that short 3 months they have forgotten to pick up the entire neighborhoods trash 3 times and they have forgotten to take the recycles 5 times. From August 2019 until November of 2020 I only had to contact Premier 1 time for an issue and it was taken care of the same day. I had to call PS two or three times on multiple occasions. I counted and Ive called them 9 times in 2 months and NOT 1 follow up from them to me to see if issues were resolved. Our neighborhood HOA is planning to cancel their contract and go with another service.

The driver for our garbage pick up had a malfunction of some type and our garbage didnt all go into the truck. He got out to see what the issue was, a bag had fallen on the arm, he cleared and picked up all the garbage that had fallen in the street. The old garbage company didnt do that at all.

My spouse and I were customers of Premier Sanitation, a company that was recently acquired by Papillion Sanitation. In the transition we received by post mail a memo stating that nothing would change with our services. Rather quite the opposite has been true. In the cutover Papillion Sanitation has failed no less than 3 times in the last 4 weeks. The first was the failure to communicate of an extra day delay pickup of trash and recycle materials due to snow. One day later was the expectation, but it was not communicated that it would be an extra following the initial day delay. The second was a completely missed recycle pick up. I called and had our account credited for the missed recycles as I was paying for a service I did not receive. This week, they picked up my recycles on time, but completely missed the entire neighborhood for waste pickup. I called and spoke to an agent that said he would resend the trucks to collect today. If that doesnt happen I will be filing a complaint with the AG of Nebraska and the BBB.Papillion Sanitation picks up waste and recycling in our subdivision normally on Thursdays. I would highly suggest that you consider consolidating these dates to ensure youre serving ALL your customers. That change will REQUIRE another memo sent to customers via post or phone (NOT solely social media).As a company you can not say that everything stays the same for services that are pre-paid and then not execute the service without some recourse from the customer.Per your hold music/messages while I waited enqueue to talk to a representative Your (our) philosophy and goal is 100% customer satisfaction. I charge you to do the right thing and correct at haste your inefficiencies and miscommunications.

If it could leave zero stars I would. They have lied to me twice and to my neighbor as well. We live on Offutt Air Force Base so unfortunately are beholden to Rising Views choice in Sanitation services. Our recycling collection for base takes place on Wednesday, my entire street was skipped. I called Thursday trying to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe something prevented them from finishing the route, the person I spoke with on the phone said they would send a truck out that day (Thursday) to collect, that truck never came. On Friday which is our trash collection day I called again, this time not just for my recycling but for my trash as well, they collected trash from the rest of the neighborhood but skipped our street once again. I was told they would send a truck to collect both trash and recycle, several hours later I had my wife call figuring a new voice may help, she spoke to Mark who said he would get to the bottom of it. An hour later they called back, Mark did not call back but a woman, she said they would said the trash truck back but could not get the recycle until the normal collection day next week. I asked if there was any explanation for our street being skipped while the rest of the neighborhood received their services, she said no reason was given but speculated the issue could have been a relief driver not knowing the route ( this explanation would have gone over better if it was the real reason and provided from Mark and also I hadn’t been lied to the past two days when they said they would send a truck and never did!) My neighbor then decided to try and call on Friday, she called and they told her they would send a truck to collect the recycle ( the exact opposite of what they had just told me!) It is now Saturday and our recycle still has not been collected! Papillion Sanitation is stealing from my entire street, we pay rent to Rising View which in turn pays Papillion Sanitation for its collection services, they are not performing those services and are thus defrauding Rising View and us!

I have always had a good experience with P.S. in the past. The times they have missed, I would call them and they would send someone out.This time though, they missed our entire side of the block on trash day. The next day I called them and was told they’d be there that afternoon. No such luck. Now they’re closed for the weekend. I think they should allow us extra bag pick ups that do not fit in the trash can since they failed to pick up in a timely manner and not have it count against our twice a year rule for extra bags.

First off, let me just say that we are new to this side of the state. Where we are from, we had three cans. One for recycle, one for trash and one for yard waste. It is taking me a bit to get used to the yard waste and trash are in the same can. The price is fair and the customer service is honestly one of the best Ive had. They care for and about their customers. They have sent emails in regards to my birthday, the holidays and when I have a question, they are able to answer it with ease.Shannon, she helped me today with my questions and took time to explain things to a point that I fully understood. She was not quick to get me off the phone. I am not kidding you when I was a mess with questions. :P So I appreciate the patience. Plus the toddlers were a bit noisy as well.The trash guys that come pick up the cans are cautious and friendly. We have two boys who are 2 and 3.5 years young that love watching them come by. Last week, the trash man was watching in case I had a darting child, waved at them and told them to be safe and have a great week. Now for me this is big. Trash is exciting at this age. To see them engage with customers beyond a simple hand wave was nice to see.I look forward to their service in the future. I would highly recommend. My friends husband also works for them and seems to be very happy with his job. His wife says they take good care of them.

Our business recently transitioned from Waste Mangement to Papillion Sanitation. Bill Fletcher has been extremely helpful by beating the competition by over $70/month as well as having a new (much nicer) container in place before the competitor even picked theirs up. Not only that, he has a driver out today to move the new container into the proper location mere minutes after I notified that the old container was removed. Thanks Bill!

They will not deliver on their word. I specifically asked for a larger trash bin, and, on the day they said they would replace it, they acted like I was asking too early. YET, this was Friday when I needed the replacement. And they would not accept calls until the following Monday. It is now way past their due time, so, if you need a larger bin, they charge you for it and do not deliver. Also, if they make a mess on your driveway, they do not care whatsoever.

They have serviced my neighborhood for the last few months following a contract with our SID. So unfortunately I have no other choice but to use their service. It’s terrible to put it bluntly. If I could choose I would not go with P.S. they have missed my trash pick up twice in 2 months, and not due to anything did or failed to do. Customer service is poor. I have not ever received a call back, I have had to call multiple times in order to remedy the situation.

They will not pickup during normal business hours! Ive asked over the last FOUR months to pickup after 7 am. I dont think I am asking for much here. They pickup between 4-530 am and it wakes me up each and every time.Thank you for not taking me seriously and for the constant 4 am wake up calls!***MY RESPONSE FROM THEIR REPLY***They say they pick up during this time because of safety. I think that this is completely BOGUS because 1) they pickup during the day at other, more congested areas everyday! Ive seen them! and 2) not one time have I called in where I was given this response, nor did the Condo association receive this response. Youre only trying to play the safety card because I put you on blast and it is public. I believe that if this was the case, it would have been communicated at least one of the five times you were contacted about this situation.Lastly, if your drivers cannot safely navigate this area, which is really not that busy (30th street), then you need to hire better drivers!

He does a fantastic job of regularly maintaining the relationship regardless of the contract or outcomes. Matt is always reviewing contracts, rates, and quality to provide the best services at my buildings. I have had great things to say about this company until now. Before I start please know I realize in this world prices for items go up. It is a part of life. I get it. HOWEVER I expect the company I put my trust in to inform me of these price increases before the first billing cycle of the new increase. It is just good customer service to keep your customers in the know. This is not how Papillion chose to handle their latest 2018 price increase. I called to find out why my bill went up and got Erin (I think that was her name) who informed me that because they are being charged by their vendors we as customers have our rates go up, no big deal part of life. When I asked her if they sent us anything informing us of this increase (thinking I may have just missed it in the craziness of life) she said they did not because it would cost them money to go through a different company to inform their customers which would then cost the customers. I am sorry but good customer service would be to eat that one time cost of sending an email (for paperless customers such as myself) or a snail mail letter, so your customers know you will be increasing their bill. Instead it feels like they tried to slide a rate increase past us. This is the first time I have had a company do a rate increase and not inform me first.

So I had my garbage In a neat row the only took the blue can and let the rest go into the street...called to ask what can I do about the bulk item and I was informed it was up to me to find a solution asked if I could cancel the service and was told even if I do the I will still be charged by MUD...but I was glad to hear it I need a bigger t re ash can I can pay more monthly for it at least I have the going for my trash...

We love Papillion Sanitation! They are always friendly, and they always wave to my kids who love the garbage trucks! They also seem to have the nicest looking trucks that Ive seen in Omaha. Would definitely recommend!

Prompt pick-up. I also live in council bluffs and my land lord has them for our apartment the person that does my council bluffs route is so nice that the couple times we forgot to take our shared garbage cans our the worker was nice enough to walk down our driveway and grab both cans to dump them twice that I can remember. Above and beyond his duty for sure . Thank you

Let it be known that the drivers who service my address go above and beyond! I live in a small town 30 minutes North of where they are based out of and they treat me as if I am in their back yard! They are always on time and have NEVER left an item behind! They also treat my canisters as if they were their own!! I just cannot say enough about these people and this Organization! Thank you for the BEST service I have EVER had. These people are first class from customer service to pick-up!!!!!

The workers that pick up the trash are very disrespectful. We had a bag dropped by the worker and in turn cars were running the bag over this led to a trail of trash that I had to pick up. We pay for a service not an inconvenience. I do not like Papillion sanitation.

I have always been satisfied with the pick up service, the problem is the pricing. The price changes with no notification to the customer. I understand increases due to general costs of living, but I have never had a company change billing prices without notification to the customer. This last increase was nearly $10 increase without notification. Upon calling, I was told that due to increased vendor costs, driver costs, etc forced the rate increase. I understand this, but notify the customer. In 4 years of service I have had 5 different rate changes. I have called competitors that other neighbors use and found that I can save at least $17.00 every 3 months. I will consider switching.

I have had Papillion Sanitation for many years... NEVER have had an issue.. If a pickup was missed it was picked up the next day.. New drivers it happens.. My driver is the best.. He will go out of his way to help me. Very polite and extra careful! I have both recycle and trash and just love them. Try them out at least you wont be sorry..

Forgot to put my trash out yesterday. Called and asked if they could come and pick up at some point. Representative on the phone was wonderful. She found a driver that was willing to come back the same day to pick up. Offered to pay for pickup. She said no. Great customer service!
