These guys were wonderful. I have never heard of them (I am in Bennington) but was in their part of town checking out used cars for my children. We almost bought one and I remembered that we could ask a repair shop to have a look at a car before we but it for a fee. We went in unannounced asking for help. They were busy and said come back in an hour. As we were looking for another place, Tom came out to say they had a few minutes. Thank God he did, he immediately nixed the car we were considering and didnt charge us anything. Lovely guy, makes me want to do business with them in the future. We went to see another car and thought we would ask them again, fully expecting to pay this time. They (Dave, this time) inspected the second car immediately and, again, didnt charge us anything! We were so thrilled and appreciated it, we will definitely drive across town to give them our business. Clean store, offered a nice waiting area, coffee, a very friendly staff. We definitely recommend them. They are what you want in a service. Thanks, guys!

The guys were extremely nice and helpful. They told us some parts didnt need replaced that another shop said needed replaced. They came in under quote and saved us 200 on the parts they didnt replace. We will be back again, hopefully not to soon.

I took my 1998 green Saturn to Omaha Car Care for years and YEARS, until the old girl put all 4 tires in the air. I shouldve traded her in for a newer model, but resisted, and the men at the service center kept my Green Machine on the road. I went there earlier this month for my 2015 red Chevy Cruzes oil change. As before, I was pleased with the experience, and will use their services again. Good job!

Thank you for your courtesy and professionalism. You guys took care of a problem created by a previous repair from Brakes Plus (120th and Dodge). Id recommend Omaha Car Care to everyone.In April I had a control arm with ball joint replaced and the techs at Brakes Plus didnt tighten up all the bolts. This left me with a noise every time I hit a bump or turned into my parking lot at home (uneven pavement). Rob at Brakes Plus told me it was my shocks/struts that needed replacing. That turned out to be untrue, theyre fine.Found out today that several bolts werent tightened enough from that repair! Take my advice and stay away from Brakes Plus.Need auto repairs? I had a little bit of work that needed to be done and at first I took my car to Firestone… Big mistake. After my horrible experience with them I switch to Omaha Car Care. Best decision ever! Not only did they take care of me, but they made sure that I understood every single step of the process instead of treating me like a “incompetent female who knows nothing about cars “… Which is how I felt a Firestone. I will 1000% be getting anything I need done to my car at Omaha Car Care! Their customer service is phenomenal and they do everything in their ability to make sure you are satisfied! I would give 10 stars if I could!

Brought it in on Monday, recieved diagnosis (AC blower motor), couldnt leave vehicle so scheduled the next morning. In and out in under 30 mins. Fan works well.

Had some frozen alignment bolts, parts were hard to find , but they (Tony/Tom) took good care of me and I, as an old mechanic myself, would recommend them to anyone.

Some of the staff will wear a mask when near you others dont and they dont wear mask around each other.

I had the BEST experience with this shop! They did a buyers inspection on a used vehicle that I was purchasing. I live out-of-state so needed to have the car checked-out and have someone be my eyes for me. I called two other shops (after looking at Google reviews) and Omaha Car Care was the only place I could get same-day service. Tom was incredibly helpful, not only in spending a ton of time talking to me about the condition of the vehicle, but also giving me his insight on the dealership which was super helpful from a local person. I really appreciate the great service and would highly recommend them!

I worked at a mechanic shop for years, the owner retired and I was nervous I wouldnt be able to find a trusted mechanic like the one I had. A coworker suggested Omaha Car Care. I was EXTREMELY impressed with this shop! All of the employees are so friendly and I got a run down of what needed to be done now and what could wait but would need to be done at a later time. With the car having 230,000 miles on it, I mentioned I wasn’t going to have the car for much longer and didn’t want to throw a bunch of money at it; they took that to heart and when I had it in for an oil change they called to see if I wanted to put in the money for wiper blades 😊 When I went to pick up the car Tom knew i was in the market for a new car and took the time to give me some car dealerships that are reputable around town. Stand up shop, the kind you would feel good about sending your mom or daughter to!!

Extremely courteous, polite, knowledgeable, honest, and professional.We ended up not purchasing based on what their inspection uncovered but we will be throwing more business their way soon. Intelligent people up front. Got my Jeep in with virtually no notice and completed in very reasonable time. Price was great and excellent warranty coverage. I was in Omaha from out of town when I began to here I concerning sound from under my care. When went to look a heat shield had broke loose and was rubbing against my drive shaft! I call Omaha Car Care explained my problem, and they told me to bring right up. They were able to get my car in right away and fixed the problem in 15 min! When I asked how much I owed they shook my hand and said just have a safe trip! If I lived in Omaha I would take my car here! Thanks again for helping me out making sure my family is safe!

Thanks Tom and team!Brought my SUV here because it was making a maletallic rattling noise around 2500 rpm and obviously didnt know what it was. Didnt expect to be able to get it looked at same day, because I had already spent the morning having to get appointments scheduled days out.Tom got me in for the afternoon and had one of his guys test drive it while I went out to grab lunch. I turned over the keys and was gone maybe 30 min. Came back and they told me the heat shield was loose and they clamped it down and tightened it, then drove around again and the sound was gone. Common issue.They gave me the keys back and didnt charge me a dime, were very thorough in explaining the issue and solution, and even have me a quick rundown of some routine services for another vehicle I had questions about. I walked away with valuable information and an end to end great experience.

I have taken all of my vehicles to this H of M & Bs for over 15 years. They diagnose and repair issues with both of my older and newer vehicles professionally and do a great job of helping me &/or my wife understand any repairs before the work is done. Integrity is important to them and thus they have earned my trust.

I was in a rush, trying to get my car inspected before I bought it. This place was able to squeeze me in and did an excellent job. Very friendly service too.

If you are looking for vehicle care at a great price, look no further! These guys have really impressed me with their lack of selling me stuff. What I mean by this is my Kia Forte needed CV shafts, rear brakes, a transmission flush and an o2 sensor. I was impressed on how they didnt try to get me to do it all at once. Instead explaining that my o2 sensor was important for fuel economy, but wasnt a safety concern as my back brakes were. They explained that even though my CV shaft was leaking grease out it wasnt clicking yet so I could get by a little bit longer before having to get that addressed. After it was all said and done I checked with Edwards to see what I would have paid at the dealer and was astonished at the price difference! Its a good feeling knowing that your car is fixed right at a fair price. I will be back for the rest of the things my KIA needs. Thanks House of Mufflers!!

House of Mufflers and Brakes is different than the typical Car Service Center. Sure they want your business, but they go about it differently. They do not tell you need something that you dont need. If there are multiple things that you need they try to spread it out so that you do not have to fork out a bundle all at once if it is not a safety issue and will not harm your vehicle. House of Mufflers and Brakes earned my business and loyalty.

Great people skills but expensive car care.

The got my car back quickly. Price was a little steep.

We have been taking our cars to this shop for a few years now and it is awesome. I usually have to bring my two small children to wait with me during the oil change and they have a great waiting area. The staff is always so friendly and kind. The manager has even bought chips for my children from the vending machine quite a few times during our wait. Today I went to get our oil changed and since they are changing their name to Omaha Car Care, they were under construction. They gave me my oil change for free just because of the inconvenience of the noise. I definitely recommend them!

Ive been coming to this location for about 6-7 years. They know me, they know my car. Every time I visit, Im met with a hello and how are you. They also do a great job fixing whats wrong and making suggestions for future repairs rather than upselling me. Keep up the awesomeness, Dave!

We moved to Omaha 3 years ago, and not knowing any repair shops, I was recommended by neighbors to bring our vehicles to House of Mufflers, (dont let the name fool ya, they do everything). They have been servicing all of our vehicles for over 3 years now.Twelve days before Christmas, I hit a high curb and did some major damage to my SUV. Tire, rim, axle, bumper. Boy did that put a dark cloud on our Holiday Vacation. However, Dave took care of everything, and our family was able to enjoy our time together and not worry about the repair. Truck is running great!Thanks to everyone involved in the repair of my SUV. It is really appreciated!

Before calling to make an appointment I already knew that something was malfunctioning on the left side of my exhaust in the emissions. It was one of three things and I could not pinpoint if it was the oxygen sensor before the converter, the converter, or the oxygen sensor after the converter. I specifically asked if they could pinpoint exactly which it was so we would not be throwing unnecessary parts at the repair as I could do that myself. They called me about an hour after dropping my truck off and told me that the converter was bad on the left side but that the only way they would do the repair was to replace the converters on both sides and all 4 oxygen sensors on both sides for $3,100! I came down in person to talk to them to explain I only wanted the one bad conver replaced and they would not do it. Against my better judgement I paid my $130 diag fee and just took my truck. Called Magnaflow for a compatible converter $75 and had All-Pro Muffler & Brake install it for $80.

I have been a customer of the 85th & L Street location for close to 25 years. I have never been disappointed in the work I have had done or in the the way I was treated by the staff. What really surprised me was when I thought I knew what was wrong with my car and it was not the problem they didnt just fix the problem then fix the real problem and charge me for needless work. I know other shops would do that just to make needless repairs. I have always been happy with the my experience there. I give them my highest recommendation.

I have taken my vehicles to House of Mufflers at 84th and L St. twice now. On both visits the staff was very friendly and honest. They explained what needed to be done, what the cost would be, and how long it would take. I am very pleased with the work that was done and the price was very fair, and they got done with the work ahead of schedule. I will definetly be returning to the House in the future. Amazing service and loyalty program I highly suggest the location off of 84th and L.

I have taken many vehicled from my dealership to the 85th and L St location for checkups and alignments etc..I have always been treated well. Most recently I took a Nissan Juke in for a clunking noise in the steering. I was figuring it was an expensive part that failed and would need replaced. They found a loose bolt on the power steering rack. Said it needed tightened and problem solved. Any shop could have very easily said I needed a part replaced and I would have believed it. A shop with honest techs are few and far between.

My wife & I were just about to leave a restaurant when I noticed my battery was dead. It was 4 1/2 years old, with no problems before, so it was just its time. Well, we were on the West edge of Bellevue, NE., 8 miles from home, kind of out in the middle of nowhere & wasnt sure what to do. My wife called the good people at House of Mufflers & Brakes to see if they could help...since thats where I had purchased it 4 1/2 years ago. Help they did! They said they would send a man to us to jump start our car immediately & get it back to their shop, where they would put in a brand new battery...FOR FREE, no charge, no labor, nada! Dave the manager explained since it was a 5 year warranty battery, the new one was at no cost at all. Outstanding service, you know! Two additional notes... when we called from the restaurant, the young man showed up to help us within 15 minutes! Through Omaha & Bellevue traffic, no less. Also, while at the shop, another young man had our new battery installed in less than 5 minutes. 3 outstanding men going above & beyond. My wife & I will not be taking our vehicles to anyone else except House of Mufflers & Brakes, just off the Northwest corner of 84th & L St. in Omaha....Thank you very much gentlemen!
