Justin our sales rep was great; we didnt feel pressured and he made everything easy to understand. The technicians were on time and courteous. They did a good job on our install and made sure we knew everything we needed to know about our new equipment. We would highly recommend Service One based on their fair pricing and good work.

I have used Service One since I bought my house 5 years ago and they have always been so helpful. Their homeowners warranty is very nice, you get discounts on an certain things andnpay a flat fee on others. I have saved thousands and Chris is AMAZING when it comes to plumbing issues. Highly recommend.

Long post but necessary. The Tech was on time and very professional. That’s the end of the great experience. Scheduled service and was given a day almost a month away from call day. The A/C had a leak and the Tech added in 2# but didn’t search for the leak. Since I have R22 Freon, the tech pushed for replacement of my two units. $10k for a fix that could give me 10-15 more years. The sales rep was no different, offered $1000 discount per unit as I have a warranty. That’s peanuts given we can fix the issue. Got three different opinions, all the same; “find the leak, seal it and your good to go for several more years.” The leak was inside the furnace and I need to replace the coil. Way cheaper that two units but ServiceOne warranty doesn’t cover leak detection unless is a lot. My system carries maybe 6# of Freon. I consider 2# significant, almost 50% of Freon. Called front desk and she said I have to be leaking 20-30# before they find and seal leaks. My A/C would be fried before that. Not happy at all and Very disappointed by all this. ServiceOne, do better and no more up-sale gimmicks. I felt like I was at a dealership buying a car. Below is a picture of my system after opening it for leak check. I had to have the other service company re-clean 2wks after ServiceOne maintenance.

We have nothing but GREAT things to say about Service One. They have ALWAYS been prompt and courteous. The tech that came today informed us that a replacement of the AC would be the most sensible choice. As it is original to the house from the 70s. After speaking with the Comfort Advisor, we agreed. The repair guy called he was on his way. He took care of the problem/s, very polite, very knowledgeable, answered my questions, advised me regarding age of my AC & Freon no longer made for my unit. He made a call to Black Hills to set up appt for a bid on new unit for next summer. I appreciated that very much as no clue who to call. He said that yesterdays repairs should last through this summer.

The service was excellent, timely and professional. I’ve been a Service One customer for years and their recent installation of my AC unit at my rental property was on par with the fantastic service I have received in the past. I’m a fan and will use them on my new house as well.

My realtor suggested getting routine maintenance done on my 2 yr old A/C unit because I’m moving soon, I had Service One come out and check everything, they said it was good to go and just added one pound of Freon. 36 days later my A/C is blowing warm air, Service One said they couldn’t come out for 3 days and was going to charge me again because it’s been more than 30 days, called a local place that came that day and noticed my A/C had no Freon and no leak, was less expensive then the maintenance charge from Service One. Service One gave me nothing but excuses and failed to take responsibility, they also left most of their tools and refused to pick them up, told me to throw them away because they were old anyways.

They were the fastest available. 200$ for emergency service call. Didnt do anything but show up and tell tenants to change the battery in the thermostat. I would utilize Burton first if there available they have a bit more reasonable pricing.

We had an unexpected pipe leak everywhere and Service One was quick to get the pipe fixed the same day. Highly recommend them for your home warranty. We have had great experiences every time we use them.

A little disappointed about a $500 credit because of the coolant added which is becoming obsolete but its knowledge necessary for me to make an informed decision on how to move forward in the near future regarding my ac unit. I had a sales representative come out today and sell me a new A/C unit after I had signed up for their year warranty guaranteeing I would have portable units to use until installation that would be installed today. Texted him multiple times little answers, called the number little to no answer and finally the technician and he called me to let me know he didn’t have access to the office now. The texts and calls started at 4:30 and ended at 7. I had my sales call at 1:30. I have two little kids and if I hadn’t signed the contract I’d be looking at a new company. First rule in sales, under promise over deliver. I’m about to spend 7,000 on a new A/C with this company? Least the sales person could have done is not guaranteed I’d have temporary cooling units tonight.

I am very disappointed in Service One.when we purchased our home we purchased a home warranty with them. It is a useless warranty. We had two separate calls today one plumbing one ac. Two separate service charges at $75 a pop. Found ac has a leak due to being low on freon was considered preexisting because the freon levels so not covered. To find the leak is a separate call to inject dye. Then a third call to come back a different time to find the leak. Wanting to charge the $75 service fee each time plus other charhes (freon of course is an expected cost) If they dont know where the leak is how can they decide its preexisting? The plumbing call was a leak from our tub to the laundry room below, he said its bad caulking and adjusted the overflow. Told my wife its probably water getting into the overflow and some caulking. Was here ten minutes. Why not try to recreate the leak to see if his theory is correct as to where its coming from. It only happens when someone is in the shower so I dont agree with the findings. I called to cancel the home warranty since it is essentially useless and you cant cancel. Im two months in. So Im stuck with a useless warranty. Maybe they do better when its not warranty work.

Our AC was not running properly. It was blowing out warm air. I called once in the beginning of April, they fixed the problem but then noticed a couple weeks after they left it wasnt running properly again - still blowing out warm air. The servicemen were very nice and informative. First time they were out there was 2 guys (Mike and Ala), Mike was training and doing all the work so he could learn. Second time Alan came out to fix the AC again. He noticed there was a wire that wasnt connected right which is why the air was warm. He apologized that it was missed and said he let Mike know so he didnt miss it. Definitely will have service one back out! Great service for sure!

My ac unit went out, cant fix due to being to old dont have parts for anymore, I picked out a new unit for them to install. The young man was pleasant, arrived 30 mins early.

I have been an ServiceOne subscriber for four years. My dishwasher broke down and I had a serviceman who came out who was very professional and polite. He stated, “the dishwasher should not used and that he would be ordering parts. I received a call from Gina and Lisa in regards to doing a buyback option due to the cost of repairing the dishwasher. They were both very unprofessional and unwilling to go the extra step to assist me in making an informed decision. I was told I needed to call NFM to see what they have in stock and I don’t work in the parts department so I don’t know when the parts will be in. I guess a simple to call to your parts department is asking too much. Or calling NFM, who you say have a contracted inventory with, is out of the norm. To sum it up “Service”One doesn’t provide good “service”! Let that sink in!

I had josh make a service call today for a sound coming from our furnace. He was so nice and was able to fix the issue so quickly for us! Always have great experience with service one!

I called Service One as my Air Conditioner was blowing hot air. When the service tech came he looked at my Nest thermostat and said it could be your thermostat. He told me that the wire were fried by my thermostat. Now they replaced the relay the last time they came and the wires were burnt from the relay. He again says it is my thermostat. I told him that i have had two other tech come out and say its not the thermostat. So your telling me that your other tech were fing lying to me and went off on me. Saying that he is leaving. That he does not like that language i apologize . But he start giving me attitude because I know that it is not the thermostat. So i tell him to take a 5 min breather and he grabs his stuff and leaves. Never fixes the burnt wires. I had another company come out and replace the relay and fix the wires and told me exactly what it was and its not the thermostat. This is the first time i have ever had an issue with a service tech and i was told he the the lead. He needs to learn not to give attitude to his customers. I hope he learns from this. I also have to say get other quotes for furnace and air conditioner because they way over charge.

Alan is THE best! He serviced our furnace this past winter and came and serviced our A/C today, cleaned it and replaced a part, added coolant and found a leak. While the cost to repair was more cheap, it’s much better than paying thousands and thousands of dollars next year to replace the whole A/C unit!

Ryan was wonderful. Told us exactly what we needed to do and was honest about the pros and cons of the immediate fix versus needing to replace the system in the next year or so.

Alan from Service One was awesome. He not only did a fantastic job servicing our thermostat, he went above and beyond by explaining that we have been using the wrong type of air filters this whole time. He recommended a much thinner, non allergy filter that not only works way better, but saves us money too. Very efficient and personable guy!
