Jerry seemed nice, but he kept pushing coming out (to offer an estimate) back each week, and wasnt able to provide us with a specific date/time for an appointment. He finally said he was coming out today (which I called and scheduled several days ago), and then just texted to again say: maybe NEXT week. Seems to be a company that plays it by ear and sets the schedule of the day each morning - which might be fine if hes not too busy, but after 3 weeks of being told to call back NEXT week we finally had to just go with someone else.

Just consider all the advertising expenses and shiny new vehicles the larger HVAC companies pay for in order to blast their name out there - that cost is passed on to you as the customer either in extra fees or up-sells. In my experience, the service you get with small or independent operators is much more personal, and more reliable when you need them most, and my experience with Jerry has been no different. Jerry Ryan, the owner of Atlas Heating and Air is truly dedicated to customer service. I have used his services for two years now (spring and fall service) and just recently had to replace my AC and furnace.
