First of all GO!! When you get there request Billy. I got my nails done by him. The whole time he talked to me and talked to me about different prices for the service. He was kind and while the service was fast he took his time where it mattered most! I will definitely be telling family and friends to visit and of course REQUEST BILLY!!! They also did my moms pedicure. Beautiful work done by China. We will be coming back. $40 for my nails. No pain and all around a good experience. Definitely recommend!

Went here for the first time to get a manicure and pedicure. The place looks pretty and it’s a quiet environment. However, unlike other nail salons they decided to do my fingernails first so I ended up putting gel nail polish on my toes so I didn’t have to wait for my toes to dry. My gel nail polish started to come off in less than a week. My mom went to get her fingernails done that same day as well and her gel polish started to come off by the second day. I don’t know what they’re calling gel but gel nail polish is not supposed to come off so quick.

The woman who did my nails was wonderful. She did a fantastic job and I loved the nails in the end. The owners however, are very condescending and rude and she even went into my backpack to get my wallet for payment before my nails were done. She was arguing with the nail tech over price and how long it takes. Overall not a good experience but I do like my nails.

My daughter took me here today for my birthday very clean can barely understand the employees little bit of a language barrier but whether through it we got there around noon and it is now 5:30 and I have taken my sandals off and have looked down at my feet and OMG she did not give a good enough job still had dad calluses around my toes and then she didnt paint my toes she had another employee paint my toes and he did a horrible job on my toes Im sorry Im having to give a bad review but Im only speaking honestly I even took pictures for proof

Cute place, I went in to get my nails done for the first time in forever and Im pretty happy. I showed a picture of what I wanted and I think he did a great job. The pinterest picture is what I wanted, definitely very pleased!

The service was ok for a quick polish. I received a pedicure and the man that serviced me was rushing and in the process hurting me. After learning that it was my birthday he eased up but still rushed although it was only myself and another woman receiving service. I was prepared to get the works for myself and daughter but I always test the service at a new place before spending hundreds. I only ended up getting the pedicure and wont be back.

It feels like a learning school,,,they trying but don’t really know how,,you will only enjoy this experience if you have ZERO expectations. I paid extra for the deluxe pedicure, no foot massage, luke warm towels, cuticles not trimmed, did not buff nails so ridges left, very sloppy paint job, lady kept leaving to attend to other customers. I could have done better myself and save my money.! A pedicure is my favorite treat but this was NOT a treat! I will never go back!

I went in for a fill (not my usual place I use) and all of my nails are a different shape/length. Now a few hrs later my nail color is starting to turn colors. My husband asked if it was a “mood” color. Nope, just poor quality. He wants me to go back and get $$ back but I don’t want to deal with them anymore. I’ll have to go to my usual place tomorrow for a fix. So disappointed.

Went today for a family vacation session, pedis x3, manicure, eyebrows and full set. Van did a great job on my toes and nails (pic attached). A family friend recommended this place and after seeing the reviews I was skeptical.... but it was great!!

Their gel nails ruined my big toes. I’ve gotten a lot of pedicures and never had this happen before. I won’t be going back

I came to get a top coat put on my nails that I had done yesterday because they were chipping. When the management found out I didn’t want a fill, they wanted nothing to do with me- like the service I wanted wasn’t worth their time/ effort. I can see why the place was completely empty... Don’t waste your time.

I got nails today and when I walked in they told me that my nails would be $35-$40 depending on how much detail was on them and then when I got done with the process they told me that it was $80.$60 for the person who did the acrylics and didn’t even do a good job and another $20 for the person who did the designs and didn’t do a good job my nails look nothing like the picture that I showed as an example and I feel like they are way too overpriced for a set that does not even look good. I would not recommend terrible service terrible employees way too overpriced and very impatient and very unkind.

Not only did they slice my friends skin in multiple places because the guy was filing so hard, but he was also entirely rude when he put the wrong color on my friends nails. We informed them of the incident and the manager was also very rude and only gave my friend $5 off. Both of our gel nail polish were uneven and looked horrible. WOULDN’T RECOMMEND

I have never had nail fungus in my life but when one of my nails broke off today there was a huge splotch of fungus growing under the acrylic nail that broke off so i popped off the other nails and three different ones were like that. I have NEVER had fungus and have always been a clean freak with my nails. But seeing that after I got a new set of nails from them after I hadnt had nails for months due to Corona was the worst thing ever. Do not go to these people. They obviously didnt clean as well as they should have because now Im dealing with having to get rid of fungus and not having nice nails to wear while interviewing for professional positions. I could lose out on jobs because now I look like an unkempt dirty person. I am pursuing legal action and I have pictures.

By the time I was done my fingers were bloody and stinging. My friend also got a really bad cut on her cuticles that she didnt show me until after we left. Three of my fingers were bleeding. The owner was kind to us but the nail attendant I had just came off as angry and annoyed with me for asking for someone else. Ive never had my nails bleed at a salon before this was the first time and now I hope my cuticles can repair before my next fill in is due. I dont recommend coming here. Sometimes cheaper isnt better. I prefer the health of me and my nails.

I had gone here for a pedicure once and it was great. However, last night I went for the first time at this salon to get French tips. I talked a friend into getting hers done here as well. First, the tech rushed through getting them done. The acrylic on mine is lumpy and uneven on several nails and he filed with the rotary tool so deep into my nail you can see the discoloration still. My friends nails are obviously uneven in lengths and he scraped the skin on two of her fingers Just in the fact that they rushed through the process and acted like he didnt even care, we all never return.

Literally the worst nail salon i’ve ever been to. I waited for 3 hours to get my nails done. When i didn’t like my nails, they started yelling at me and saying that they were “beautiful” and if i didn’t like them so much they would cut them off. She started yelling at other customers to try and agree with her.

I took my girlfriend here to get her nails done today they completely messed them up they overpriced us they told us one price at the door when we walked in and then they told us another one we walked out and were checking out they messed her nails up the man who is doing her nails continued to file even harder when she said that he was hurting her and he could tell that she was in pain the manager at this place was very rude the lady who talked to us when we first came in said to come back at 5:30 she didnt end up getting her nails done until 6:00 the man who did her nails rushed through it and made them extremely uneven as well as put broken nails on her nails I have read other reviews and saw that one ladys acrylic nails had gotten fungus underneath of them so I am currently worried for my girlfriends health

I would not recommend and here is why.The people who did my mom and Is nails did wonderfully and it wasnt them that was the problem. The problem was the owners, especially the wife. Rude as hell and dont even dare speak Spanish there or they will make it very clear they dont like you. I feel bad for the employees there, you can tell they are treated like trash.The owner (wife) tried to make a scene to the lady who did my moms nails (you can tell they were willing to do anything to get this employee in trouble). They screamed at the employee, telling her that the nails were not gel and that she did it wrong. Then they grabbed my moms foot and started aggressively rubbing the paint with nail polish remover only to realize the polish was not coming off because it was gel. My mom literally had to get loud to stop the owner because she was screaming at the employee for something she did not do.As for the sweet employees there, you guys deserve better. Get out while you can.

I’ve gone to this place a couple times before and they’ve always been decent. I got my nails done today. the man used the tool to file my nail and He ripped up all the skin on almost all my nails near my cuticles and I was bleeding. The man at the front counter says “it happens, you’ll be fine. Cost is $20.” I will not be returning.

Just don’t do it! The woman that runs that place is rude. While I was there, a customer cameIn to say she had been there a few hours before and wasn’t happy with her service. The upset customer was calm and professional but the nail tech that did her nails stood up from their chair and started arguing with her! I couldn’t believe it and then the damned owners stood by and did nothing. I was getting a pedicure and was going to get my nails done afterwards but decided to leave. I went to pay for my pedicure and was told it was $45. I asked why it was so much. They said “$20 for gel”.... really??? Every other place in town charges 10. I guess when half of your business is gone you gotta jack the prices up to stay open. I will NEVER go there again, NEVER.

BE WARNED!!! They will leave you with a HACK job and probably an INFECTED nail like i had. My pinky finger was on fire for almost a week before I finally went to URGENT CARE! I got a nail infection because the lady who worked on me cut my nail way too short(Doctors words)... On top of that... They kept trying to upsell gel polish after repeatedly refusing. That can be some what typical for nail salons. BUT what is NOT typical is the normal simple color I wanted started to CHANGE COLOR after only a few DAYS... Extremely dissatisfied! Brought my daughters and myself here thinking we’d have a nice mommy-daughter experience. From the minute you walk in you’re attacked by 2 of them telling you what you want and how much it will cost...trying to up-sell every second of the way! I say I want a fill and they say I want a new set. I say I want gel on fingers and toes - they say no, gel on fingers and regular on toes! I say we want regular pedicures (with massage), they give us sports pedicures but try to charge us for regular. This place is ridiculous and I will never be back! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Would give negative stars if I could. First off, I waited 30 minutes to be seen. And he said he couldnt do the design I wanted, which in my opinion doesnt look that hard to do. Charged $5 extra to paint the tips a different color when I couldve done that myself for free! I paid $50 for red nails with black tips. Its ridiculous and the polish started chipping the same night. Im going somewhere Wednesday to get them fixed, never again will I go here. I wish I wouldve read the reviews before going because theyre all true. Never go here!!

First let me start by saying they asked me to write my name and number on a list for people waiting. We walked out and came back about 45 btw no one ever called and we still had to wait. The customer service was horrible and they were so rude. All in all I waiting 4 hours for 3 pedicures and a refill. Not to mention that my daughter walked out of there looking like she needed a new set of refills.

The last 2 times Ive gone in Ive waited more than 2 hours then to be stuck with the owners wife. She is a horrible person. She rushes through the job then makes fun of you and your child. I could do a better job at home and my 7 year old doesnt lose her self esteem in the process. POINTING AND LAUGHING AT A CHILDS EYE BROWS IS UN CALLED FOR. SHAME ON YOU!!!! They upsold me on the spa treatment and I was not dissapoined. I was able to recline in a very comfy chair that doubled as a masseuse. The employees were friendly and didnt mind explaining what they were doing. There was even a hot was treatment!!! Would highly recommend

Ive had a wonderful experience with them. I am fortunate to have Bea as my manicurist, has I had just had stroke, and she was so gentle and caring. Ive had so many BAD experiences with BAD manicurists, I had almost given up hope. Until I came across Miss Bea at Escape Nails & Spa Ocala, Fl. Bea listened to me when I told her it was better to cook my nails in between coats, so no bubbling effect would happen. She said I was helping her to achieve the beautiful nails I deserve and paid for. (No kidding, my jaw dropped open!)I think every manicurist should take a page from her book and learn to exceed a customers expectations.(Just a hint...ask for Bea. And no, I am not her family, nor a manicurist. Just a happy customer!🍀✝🍦

Not recommended at all. An older man did my nails. I asked for round edges and as you can see in the pics he did round, squared, asymetrical shapes. Each nail looks like it belongs to a different person. I tried to tell him to do it squared since he was struggling. He said “ok it’s easy”. NEVER AGAIN.

Manicurist was not paying attention. He was using the file, cuticle pusher, and nipper tool and missed the nail area multiple times bc he was speaking to someone else. He left the cuticles completely flooded and I️ left with paint all over my fingers. Won’t be returning.

I am a regular at Escape and I am not sure why I havent given them Kudos on here sooner. I love going because the work is always consistent and you cant beat the prices. I highly recommend them and I always ask for Kha or Anna (or Elsie for a great pedicure/foot massage!) I get Gel Nails on my hands and toes and I can go 4-8 weeks before I ever need a Polish change! Oh and Anna does the best eye brow waxing in town~

Horrible Horrible experience! I took my daughter to get her nails done. We ended up with a new girl who seemed to be tripping the entire time. My daughter and I got gel nails - the lady apparently forgot to buff my daughters nails and put the clear base coat on before the color. We went to a birthday party right after getting them done and each nail literally slid off. I didn’t know a base coat wasn’t put on until I asked my daughter and she said the lady forgot too. I went right back to the salon and showed them that ea nail was off. I asked for a refund and we will go somewhere bc we didn’t want to deal with the same lady who was tripping and confused with how to do nails. The owner was super rude, told me to go sit down and he didn’t have time to deal with me. I asked again for a refund and he denied and told me I had to get them redone by the same lady who was outback smoking. I waited patiently and the lady came in even more tripping than before - sweating and sniffing and barely could walk without falling over. I will never go back to this place again and I highly suggest that you go somewhere else too. Gel nails are suppose to last at least 2 weeks not 4 hours. This place has totally gone down hill. This used to be our quick go to place to get nails done. Not anymore.

The owner was very pushy when my friends and I walked in, she grabbed my arm and literally pulled me to the pedicure chair. The tech who took care of me was the saving grace of the store after the owner would not let me look at the packages they offered,and insisted I get the same as my friend. She ended up having to get her nails redone because her tech did the wrong color

I am new to the Ocala area and was looking for a nail salon. After reading reviews on Google+ I decided to try out Escape Nails and Spa in the Paddock Mall. They were great! The lady who did my pedicure was very nice and even translated her conversation that she had with the other workers. She clued me in to what they were talking about, so that it wasnt awkward. This is the first time any nail salon has ever done that. She spent extra time scrubbing my feet to make them soft and get rid of all the rough skin. She did a wonderful job and I will be back!

If I could give this nail job a negative number of stars I would. The man was rude the whole time I was getting a full set of acrylics. And thats the least of my concerns. The sign said 20 for a full set. When I showed them a picture of what I wanted he didnt listen at all. The nails themselves are all different shapes and so thick that they look like crayons on my fingertips. He did not listen to my design (which I paid extra for) it was supposed to look like black lace over a dusty pink nail. He did polka dots. Like literal polka dots. Then he did not paint the black accent nail until I practically cried. Then they still charged me $45.00 (I still want to know where this total came from as I did not get the design I paid for) Another huge issue is the fact that he did not cover my whole nail with acrylic. They were done yesterday and look like they have been growing out for two weeks. And then, icing on the cake, the nail polish is lumpy and he painted the side of my fingers. Worst nail experience of my life. I should have celebrated my new job another way because after this, I regret every penny.

I have been going there for several years for pedicures,never again. After signing in, got my polish , no directions of what chair. After sitting in a chair for 10 minutes , no one came over or anything . The owners wife did ask what I wanted , I was sitting in a pedicure chair. Really lady? Everyone around me was getting service. I went across the street by Wal-Mart, better service less money. Customer service totally unexpectable

No matter when I come in they always have time to fit me in. Not to mention they do a fantastic job! They are the only ones that listen to you, and dont damage my feet and nails from over working them. They always have great sense of humour and you can enjoy your stay there with out feeling aqward.

Worst nail experience of my life. Im visiting from WV and I planned on getting a gel manicure and pedicure, while my friend got a pedicure. The girl I got immediately cut 2 of my fingers just trying to remove the gel polish. I let her know and it then took her an hour just to get the rest of the gel off. She didnt file my nails, which left them all different sizes and shapes. As she began to polish, she just clumped the gel on and got it all over my fingers. She did this for 3 coats. Long story short, another lady looked at them, saw how bad they were and pulled me over to completely redo my nails. Her name was Bea and she did a much better job. But I sat there for 2 hrs total for a simple gel manicure that should have only taken 20-30 minutes. My friend never got a pedicure due to the fact that they took 5 people ahead of her. On top of it all, The receptionist was rude with an attitude problem and pretty much said that I was the reason my nails got messed up. I will make sure no one I know ever steps foot into this place.

Took my dad there to get pedis for the both of us. They started w him, a d normally when I get pedis they at least, put my feet in water, while they attend the other person in the party.... but no, just sitting there like Mrs. Chillingworth. They did my father and they were almost done before they even attended to me.They kept asking... and thought that because I am a girl I wanted polish. :/ My dads pedi was nice, tho.

Absolutely love it here. Despite the bad reviews about it. Depends on the nail tech&your attitude! If you go in there with a bad attitude youre gonna get bad service. Im js. Ive seen plenty of times where the tech had good attitude and the other person just complained. I love Luna! She does such a great job every single time! Strongly recommend her.

Worst experience!! I am new in Ocala and looking for a decent nail salon. I thought I would give them a try. The woman doing my nails wasnt too friendly. I asked for what I normally get and was talked out of it as it took too much time. I was given the shorter version and do not like the way they look. I usually get a french gel and was talked in to getting something else that would take a shorter time. THEN, when done, I gave her half cash and a credit card telling her to put the cash toward my bill and the rest on the card. SHE POCKETED THE CASH and put the whole tab on my card. I asked her where the cash was when I saw the full amount on my card. She proceeded to tell me she presumed that was her tip and what high tips she always gets. I told her if she thought that was her tip then I was in the wrong salon!! I asked for the 15 dollars back and went home. Hurried service, too much for the job she did and telling me she always got that amount and MORE in tips!!! Look out people.....

Does note even qualify for a star. They suck !! Waited for 2.5 hrs from start to finish. The nail dryer was broken. What kind of nail salon does not have a dryer.

I went here yesterday at 3:30, I waited until 5:45 before I was helped! They kept taking people before me and when I said something the boss lady told me to sit down and pay her BEFORE I was helped. She said i would be next so my fiance paid in advance. She then told him to move and find a different seat. I told her no, he is with me. If you want him to move seats (no one was in our row) then we will take our money back. Weve waited two hours already so she left us alone and started yelling at the cleaning lady. It then took another 40 minutes before the man did my nails. I got two tips glued on before someone walked in the door wanting a fill and the man stops helping me to start doing her nails. Another hour later we were done and gone. The polish is horrible, my finger tips are cut up, and Its been only 12 hours and my nails are falling off!! I called and the salon this morning to tell them my nails were lifting and barley on when I came there yesterday after waiting 3 hours and a man who answered said whatever then hung up. I would not recommend anyone to go here. Its the worst place Ive ever gone to. So trashy and scummy, and dont care about customers!!

Customer service was ok. I got a basic mani/pedi. Peter was my tech. I was given a gift certificate so this is why I went here despite the many bad reviews. Everything was nice except the next day my fingernail polish started peeling.

I wish I could give a negative . I went there today and this weird dude started to do my nails calling my babe . He then asked me how I wanted my nails so I told him and then began asking if I was paying cash and I told him no with my debit card he told me no and to go and get cash and he would give me a discount. I told him fine my friend gave me the money and he then told me no no its 45 not 40 and I told him no you told me 40 and thats what Im paying . I then asked him do I give to the front to pay or do I pay him he said give it to him so I did. He then left three times for 20 minutes he was acting strange kept wiping his nose shaking messing my nails up trying to fix then huffing and puffing cause he seem like he couldnt concentrate on the phone talking. Talking to the employees getting up and leaving more. When he was done I was in the there for an hour and a half told me to sit up front to let them dry and he was acting very suspicious. I felt like he was pocketing the money but I walked out and dare anyone to say I didnt pay . He charges me 40 on nails that are uneven and the acrylic is so eeven looks like a child did them I was such a hurry that I didnt want to turn around to get them redone DO NOT GO THERE THEY ARE SO UNPROFESSIONAL.

I was with a friend and we had gotten the nails done. It took them 15 minutes in total. And I paid 45$ for just plain black matte nails. Then Im uncomfortably approached by the perverts that work there. The nails came off two days after. Terrible experience.

Worst service EVER! I just moved to Ocala and went here for a fill. All nails are uneven and thin. I had a red tip on one nail and instead of painting over it, he left it and when questioned, he tried to tell me it looked beautiful and argued with me about it. He heaped gold sparkles on top of it and painted it and its mishapen and looks horrible. He knew it looked bad but he said he would take $10 off because he didnt have more time to fix it. So now I will pay for a new set tomorrow because my nails look hideous. Also, he kept telling another patron oh beautiful body and she was clearly uncomfortable as was I. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

The lady that was suppose to be starting on me was chatting it up on her phone for like 5 minutes while I sat there and stared at her and she started filing my nails down just chatting away not to mention she looked like she just left wal-mart in a raggedy spagheti strap that was something she shouldve only been wearing to lounge around the house in, it didnt even look like she was wearing a bra. Not to mention its one thing to walk into a nail salon and have a hard time understanding the Asians but when the Asians have to explain things to a Hispanic because their English is so poor why do you have a customer related job? It was frustrating and left a bad taste in my mouth. I wont go back there. Azulene day spa over on market street is way better.

Worst experience! We were here visiting a friend from West Virginia! Wanted to get mani pedi before we went home! Young girl cut my Friends finger trying to remove the gel from her nail the pedicure we wanted never happened and the gel the was being put on was so bad we had to get a different tech do redo them!

Okay its started when I went to Walmart off of maricamp road the gurl did my nails An my figure on my right hand was cricket I was soooooo pissed off I said I was never going back, do I was in the mall n I saw this nail salon of course I was An walk in they set me down with Anna IMG her presents was very friendly, Nice,outgoing I asked her can she fixed my nails she told me yes( cuz I was about to get an whole new set done) she talked to me I told her Short she fixed the cricket nail I was very happy with it I will recommend escape nail salon I keep the nails wayyyyy over do but it til looked good

Oh boy where do i start? My first time being in this place. I called ahead to schedule an apt with a lady named bea told them what i was wanting done. Acrylic nails, eye brow waxing, & no pedi just paint my toes with gel polish with white tips. When i arrived bea informed me she doesnt do acrylic nails.... so a man took over by the name on kevin. From the time i got there to the time i left they were incredibly rude. The nails are uneven. The girl who did my eyebrows gave me a very uncomfortable feeling. Sexual harassment is something that definitely happens here. Comments about how skinny i was, trying to touch me. Lady who did my toes was incredibly rude as well. Cut my skin on my toes twice and continued to spray it with polish remover. I mentioned to her she was rubbing it raw, her comment was sit back relax and shut up. Needless to say i was ready to get out. I called back an hour later after leaving to request a refund. Manager hung up on me and wouldnt allow that. PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!

I went for a fill and they tore up my cuticles with the drill. I had stiletto and told him I wanted the keep the shape. He filed the end of 2 of my nails so it was square and the rest were like almond shaped. NOT HAPPY . And horrible customer service , they’re all so rude !!!! Do not go here !!

I will NEVER return here! I brought my daughter in so we could have mani / pedis for her birthday and they cut 3 of my toes during my pedi, one pretty bad, and they cut my toe nails to short. My daughters manicure was nothing more then them painting her nails, they did not trim her nails or cut her cuticles. The polish looks awful because her cuticles were not even trimmed. When they did my manicure they cut 3 of my fingers too. The polish they put on TWO days ago is already cracking and chipping. I will NEVER return and I would not recommend it for anyone else!!!

They were really bad me and my mom went and they came off 2 days later....smh... never again🙄

If you go in here ask for BEA she does amazing I give her 5 STARS ! She is clean friendly and honest . The men are creepy or some are perverts . The other women are very rude and try to steal your money!! Avoid this place unless your seeing BEA.
