Just got back from a girls trip to NYC and cant express how happy I am with our entire trip! I was a little nervous going into it reading some of the reviews on this hotel, but was very impressed with our stay and am glad I picked this hotel. When we first checked in David (I believe that was his name) was very welcoming and gave us a lot of tips/advice for navigating the city since we were first timers. The room was clean and had everything we needed. If you are staying multiple nights, the hotel isnt currently cleaning your room each day, but whenever we needed something the front desk gave it to us quickly. Beds were very comfortable and we had enough space for 4 of us to move around without bumping into each other very often. We requested rooms close to each other since we had two and the front desk was able to arrange that for us, as well as getting a fridge in each of our rooms. The hotel couldnt be more convenient for getting on the subway and exploring the city. It was close to several restaurants, a grocery store, and the subway. It was in a safe area and we never felt uncomfortable in the hotel. Prices were great too for the location and what you get. Would definitely stay again!

Positive: Right where I needed to be to accomplish everything I wanted to for the two days we were there. Negative: It wasnt the cleanest and the people not overly friendly BUT it was certainly acceptable & not gross & just a staff smile would have helped. The staff appeared extremely busy which again is positive. They answered questions asked. Would stay again.

Overall the staff is great and efficient and friendly and made it a good experience. The beds are very comfortable and there were no stained sheets on our beds. Its a good deal for the price and all manhattan hotel rooms are small unless you are taking up residence at the Pierre. It can be a shock for first time visitors but space is limited in NYC. My issue is the mold/ mildew everywhere in the bathroom. Its on the ceiling, in the shower stall, over the door...it is NOT clean by covid standards or normal standards. You have a mold problem , it reeks in the basement , clearly and I have a lingering cough from the irritation of breathing it.

Room smelled of mold. No washcloths provided. The week I stayed here the fire alarm went off around 5am. I called the desk and they said it was a false alarm. The elevators were not working and the staircases were wet with water pooling at the landings. Not worth the money.

We were 4 people and we stayed 6 nights and everything was very good. The room was a little bit dirty and the sheets were very stained. However the cleaning service ( it has to be booked 24 hrs early due to the outbreak) was very good. I also had to say that the staff was very friendly,, the customer service was great they keep our bags. Finally the best thing this hotel has is the location. It is located 5 minutes away from pennstation 10 minutes from times square and 5 minutes from target, many cvs and Duane reads near by.

It has taken some time for me to digest the intense and enchanting stay I was blessed to have at the Four Points Sheraton in Chelsea - by chance occurring on the first day of the first week many New Yorkers appeared to go outside for the first time. I can not describe the friendships I formed with every single person on staff there; morning, day & night. From Bennie Aicha Leyla to every one of her co-horts whose names I cant remember (Aisha), the on-site manager David, the room-staff; all from Asia. I was overwhelmed. The small talk, the personal talk from a very happy, inclusive and wholly welcoming staff (everyone) AND the guests during an interesting time in New York City. Oh, I could tell you all the places I browsed from East to West, mid-town, down-town, the garment district, Central Park, Times Sq...yes, I could tell you all that. However it would not have been possible without my Four Points Sheraton in the walking midst of all these areas always waiting on my with a smile. A mentally-ill person at 55 living at a very special time in the most special of cities at an extremely unique time. We are blessed to have experiences as this. I filmed everything; motion and still. I have still only been able to grace through the images and video. Its too intense. Who needs THAT much happiness? I can not wait to stay there again. All in due time. I could only be blessed more if Bennie Aicha Leyla, David and every single on of their dear co-horts (all women) were still there. Life is good and I do thank a very good childhood friend for helping a man take a trip to NYC in my car and on a budget a prominant South Carolinian might spend on a solitary day-trip to Bed, Bath & Beyond. Those people will never go beyond what I experienced at the Four Points Chelsea one week in April, 2021. Thank yall dearly.

We had such a great stay over 6 nights here. Of all the hotels weve stayed in, this had a real being at home feel! Its not the absolute fanciest hotel weve stayed in, best definitely it is the best hotel weve stayed in, and the best hotel experience weve had. The room was nice and peaceful, the window opened which is so good to get fresh air, and the bed was really really comfortable. All the staff are lovely too, Bennie on the front desk was amazing and always helped us in any way she could. Also the location was so good, walking to nearly anything we needed, plus right near a Wholefoods. We definitely recommend this place!!

The staff is friendly and helpful, but the hotel felt dirty and pretty run down. The rooms were so tiny. Maybe it’s a New York thing, but goodness the space is very tight. The coffee pot was broken, there wasn’t a breakfast option at all (free, paid, or room service). I booked a room here specifically for the amenities advertised, such as a bar and restaurant, but it was closed for our entire weekend stay. The location is pretty good with many things within walking distance and easy access to public transportation. The parking options are not plentiful however and the lot the hotel contracts with was full and pretty pricey. For 24-hours it’s about $30, but that’s only if you do not leave the lot. After driving around on a Friday afternoon for a couple hours searching desperately for a place to park, we spoke to a gentleman who works at the hotel. He offered free parking in front of the hotel (named commercial zone) for the evening, which we ended up being able to keep there for the entire weekend at no charge.Note: if you’re a unfamiliar with how the parking in New York works, it is FREE nearly everywhere on weekends ONLY. Weekdays, however, it’s hard to find and very pricey ($30 is the cheapest I saw).

So I booked the place by talking to central rep of Marriott directly. As per her the place has parking that allows in and out. The room prices on site and from her were same for 2 queens or 2doubles or 1 king. However when we reached the hotel the price for the 2 queens was not the same as 1 king. 1 King was more. The first rep refused to change room to 2 queens. The second was more accommodating and did do that. The biggest bummer the parking does not allow in out. You pay every time. The room welcomed us with a dead cockroach on the bathroom floor. There are coffee and liquid stains all along on bed headboard, tv and walls. I have to start off by thanking the front desk staff for always looking up and greeting us every time we walked into the lobby from our day out in the city. I’ve stayed at many hotels and this was one of the friendliest. With that said the rooms were a bit small and with three suitcases, a stroller, and a car seat we were at max capacity. There wasn’t a refrigerator in the room which was a bit disappointing, but at the same time where would you even put it. The hotel was the perfect distance from everything we wanted to do and far enough from any of the loud city noises. Speaking of noises, the walls do talk in this hotel. Well, the pipes behind the wall but it’s not so loud where it would wake you but it is interesting while you are awake. Oh and the sheet tucker at this hotel must have been in the military or something. Those sheets were tucked so tight we applaud you!

This is a respectable spot convenient to Chelsea and visitors arriving via Penn Station. Rooms are functional and well maintained, but rather small and generally typical of Manhattan “value” hotels. My main complaint is the down-market through-the-wall heater/air conditioner which has noisy on-off cycles that disturb sleep. There is no option to leave the fan on for white noise, and while this no doubt saves the hotel money, it will assuredly cost many guests some rest.

I could not use it without propping it with something otherwise I had to be close enough to hold it which defeats the purpose of a full length mirror.I love getting the newspaper but the second day we did not have the newspaper. The lobby/lounge area was not the kind you sit and relax in. In general, everything is cramped and outdated. Maybe if the rooms are small, the walls should not be a charcoal color? The air conditioner is LOUD. And it comes on and off at night and makes for no sleep and no rest. The bathroom is not quiet either. The is a constant buzz.Next time I will try another Marriott brand and hope for a better outcome. It is the kind of experience you can only explain if you actually spent a night in room 707.It will take a long time to wash out the memory of that place from my mind.

Overall, pretty great experience! The staff was amazing and very very nice. The rooms had great views (we stayed on floor 21) and the walk to get things we needed and to the subway was not far at all.

Hotel is centrally located. The toilet was stopped up in our room but they sent someone fast to fix it. The hair dryer would stop working all weekend. The rooms are a bit small but the beds are very comfortable and the street it is on is fairly quite at night. The bathrooms were very tiny to try and get ready in. The front desk was nice for letting us keep our bags at the front desk while we went into the city after we checked out.

The check in staff were quite indifferent to me as a loyalty member (not that I was demanding but I have become accustomed to a certain level of reception). While I acknowledge that Manhattan rooms are small this was extremely cramped. The room had a musty smell and the towels and bed linens were dated and in dire need of changing. The restaurant menu looked good until the food hit my palate. Dry sliders, cloyingly sweet salad and another underdressed salad. The second two items simply needed some attention to detail. The only upside was a server who was extremely attentive.

Very nice place to stay. The hotel was nice and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived early and rooms were not ready. The manager located us in the restaurant to notify us they were ready. Restaurant and bar food good bar food - good place to eat, drink and visit.

Nice hotel with all the necessary amenities and services. The room kind of felt like a dorm room and they each have their own AC units. The room isnt too cramped or small which is usually the case in nyc hotels. The gym is a little small but functional. The elevators are quite fast which is nice.

Great place to stay. Loved the shower and bed. Free water bottles in the rooms. Great a.c. to make the room extra cold. Will be back and will recommend to friends. Staff was awesome.

Located in Chelsea, NY, close to city center and other attractions. Hotel amenities are good enough. Restaurant in the lobby floor serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hotel also invited local coffee brewers to serve the hotel guests for free. Infused ice water with lemon is a nice refreshment after visiting New York attractions under hot air. Staffs are very helpfull and friendly. Room rate is reasonable for Chelsea area.

1) The location is great.2) My experience with the staff was pretty awesome. They are very supportive and quick in responding to your needs.3) Not happy with the rates for the size of the rooms and decor the hotel offers.4) Room decor is very much outdated and rooms are very small in size. 5) No microwave or refrigerator provided in rooms.6) No dental kit is provided.

Great location. A little further south in midtown but thats okay because then youre not as close to the mess of Times Square. Typical small NYC rooms. Amazing staff! Bar and restaurant attached

Very poor. The property is badly in need of being updated. Everything in the room is old. The sink faucet leaked all over the floor. The door to the balcony on the 22nd floor to the deck did not lock and we had two young children with us. There was not a single drawer in the room to keep clothing. The TV is antiquated. We only received about 15-20 TV channels. The lobby is virtually non-existent. The rooms are very small, even for New York standards. On the upside, the restaurant on property offered several nice breakfast options and had some evening options available as well. The staff were also very nice and did their best under the circumstances.

The hotel was nice. Staff was very friendly. Room was modern and nice quality. Only issue was the bathroom had a large moldy crack that wasnt repaired and the toilet had water pressure issues. Id go back again, but for what you pay, the bathroom should be immaculate.

I came to this hotel expecting Four Points Quality. What I got was closer to Holiday Inn Express. The rooms are cramped and outdated. The interior is run down. You hear every move in the hallways while trying to sleep. The neighborhood is not terribly nice, either. Everything is a hike and you may not want to be out alone at night. The staff was quite nice and did their best, but the place itself does not measure up to the quality I expect of the brand.

Amazing staff and location in this boutique NYC hotel in Chelsea. Front desk staff are 5 stars!! They are always friendly and extremely attentive. This is a four point Sheraton, not the Ritz,, but if you travel as much as I do you truly appreciate--super friendly easy to check in and out, always clean, great views, and, amazing night of sleep with, great food in a casual restaurant is perfect for me!!Im at this location often and I always feel at home . It is so much easier in every respect and they dont try to charge you for every little thing. Big thanks to everyone at the hotel especially front desk staff Katherine, Danny, Aaron and Benni!!

Four Points was the perfect booking for a friends 50th birthday celebration in NYC. Its walking distance from Penn Station and conveniently located near subway stations to take you anywhere on the island of Manhattan. The staff were very kind and friendly. Our room was spacious, especially for NYC, and the bathroom was modern and clean. We will be staying here again.
