I NEVER TAKE THE TIME TO DO THIS TYPE OF THINGS BUT THIS TIME I FELT I HAD TO DO IT TO ALERT OTHERS SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS LIKE ME. IM FROM BRADENTON FLORIDA, I OWN A SMALL COMPANY OF 3 TRUCKS, A 2009 FREIGHTLINER COLUMBIA, A 2015 INTERNATIONAL PROSTAR WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND A 2016 PROSTAR WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. GOT IN TO THIS PLACE DUE TO TRANSMISSION ISUE WITH THE 2015 TRUCK, IT WAS HAVING SHIFTING ISSUES. IT WAS A MONDAY MORNING ON NOVEMBER 16 2020, THE DRIVER INFORMED ME THAT THE TRUCK COULDT GET OVER 50 MILES PER HOUR DUE TO TRANSMISSION NOT SHIFTING WRIGHT AND THAT AN INTERNATIONAL DEALER WAS CLOSE BY. TOLD HIM TO TAKE IT THER AND HAVE IT DIAGNOSE. AFTER A WILE THEY CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THAT IT WAS RELATED TO THE 4 WAY SHIFTER CONNECTOR BODY; ITS NOT AN EXPENSIVE PART BUT IT WAS A LITTLE BIT LABOR INTENCE AND THE TOTAL AMOUNT WAS GOING TO BE AROUND $900, THEY WERE GOING TO HELP ME WITH A DISCOUNT ON THE HOURLY RATE. I TOLD THEM TO GO AHEAD ADN ORDER THE PART AND FIX THE TRUCK AS I NEED IT ON THE ROAD. NEXT DAY PARTS COMES IN AND THEY PUT IT TOGETHER JUST TO FIND OUT THE TRUCK WAS NOT FIX AND MORE DIAGNOSE WAS NEED IT. THEY TOLD ME THEY WILL HAVE TO CALL EATON THE TRANSMISSION MANUFACTOR TO GET MORE INFO ON THE PROBLEM. AFTER ANOTHER DAY OF WAITTING THEY TOLD ME THE PROBLEM WAS THE XY SHIFTER AND THE WIRE HARNESS AND THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE AROUND $2000 MORE TO GET IT FIX. I STARTED TO QUESTION THEIR MECHANICS SKILLS AND THEIR ABILITY TO FIX THE TRUCK; I WAS WONDERING WHAT WAS GOING TO BE NEXT. BUT I HAD NOT CHOICE, THE TRUCK WAS DOWN, FAR FROM HOME AND THE DRIVERS WERE STAYING AT A HOTEL CLOSE BY THE DEALERSHIP AND IT WAS COSTING ME MORE MONEY. TOLD THEM TO GO AHEAD AND ORDER THE PARTS AND FIX IT. GOT OUT OF THERE ON THE 19T AT 3PM AFTER $2839.39 LATER TRUCK WAS BACK ON THE ROAD. FEW DAYS LATER MY 2016 PROSTAR STARTED DOING SOMETHIGN SIMILAR. THE DRIVER WAS GOING HOME TO GEORGIA, HE TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY THAT HE WAS GOING TO CHECK IT, THE DRIVIER ON THIS TRUCK IS ALSO A CERTIFIED DIESEL MECHANIC AND WORKED ON TRUCKS FOR OVER 15 YEARS, HE NEW ABOUT WHAT HAPENED TO THE OTHER TRUCK. LONG STORY SHORT, HE UNPLUG THE WIRE HARNESS FROM THE XY SHIFTER AND THE ECU, HE CLEANED THEM AND PUT SOME GREASE ON IT AND PUT IT BAKC ON. THE TRUCK STOPED ACTING UP AND ITS RUNNIG FINE NOW. DONT KNOW IF THIS WAS THE SAME ISSUE THAT THE OTHER TRUCK WAS DOING BUT DEFENATLY GOT ME A LITTLE UPSET. THE FACT THAT YOU GO TO THIS SHOPS AND THEY START SWAPING PARTS WITHOUT BEING SURE OF WHATS WRONG AND AFTER THEY FOUND THAT WHATEVER THEY DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE THEY COME BACK TO YOU ASKING FOR MORE MONEY LIKE THERE IS NOTHING; ITS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY INCOMPETENT ON THEIR END. THEY DID WORK WITH ME ON THE RATE FOR THE LABOR, THATS WHY IM GIVING THEM 2 STARS.

Was a bad experiens they fix my truck and they charge me $8,244 and when I take my truck with me george tell me is ok everithing buth now my truck is doing alot noising and I have only 2 days with me and I take back the truck to the same please and now they traont yo charge me another 2,224 they are a bad shop i recoment the people dont go to this shop

The team at this location is extremely helpful and polite. My driver came in on a Friday morning with more problems than expected and the service manager Kenneth took care of him. We definitely will have this team in mind when we are back in town.

Got towed in and what I thought was a long time in shop, turned out to be a very painless experience. Was out very quick and the staff and mechanics were very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place.

Horrible experience. Every other day there is something new that they found that they have to fix. Its been over 2 weeks since they got my truck and still cant tell me whats actually wrong or when I will be able to pick it up.

I Found Cumberland International in Murfreesboro,TN almost 2 years when I was having DPF issues. Since then they have become my Home Shop of Choice that I truly trust. If I have an issue anywhere in this country and I can make it back to Cumberland for the repair, that is exactly what I am doing. Cumberland to me is like a family and from what I have seen is they run the whole organization that way from not just the Murfreesboro facility but in all the Cumberland Facilities from top to bottom. From the time that I pull in until the time that I pull out there is no question or concern that I have, that I cant go to any part of this team from the General Mananger to the Supervisors to the Formans, Service Advisors. Mechanics to Parts Agents that they will take the time to answer your question or concern or find out the answer quickly. In my experiences the service is next to none and The Cumberland Team get me up and running as quick as possible with the least amount of downtime. At the same time giving you that Southern Hospitality that makes you feel like your with Family and if youre lucky you might be there when they do a cookout. Great Food too. True Southern Hospitality with Quality of Service and Professionalism next to none

Dont expect much from this so-called professional business. The the run around and deflection the give you in regards to service and communication to their customers would make any politician a run for their money. They never return calls, follow up or update on repairs and keep your vehicle forever. Im calling out the entire service department, Mackenzie Kitty and Kenneth. All you get is a run around and unfulfilled promises. They had my truck 3plus weeks and over $6000 was spent. Needless to say, the truck is still not repaired correctly, and somehow they try to convince me, its my fault. Bad business practices, bad communication, bad business.

Had repair there twice, never again. First time they told me it was ready with wires hanging off dpf. They fixed it on their dime so I tried them again for a steering box. Not quite right but usable. Now third time they said my truck stunk so I needed to clean it. Which was true. A/c been out and I tried to get away from truck and home a lil too quick. So after they attempted to hook up their buddy to clean my truck for $650, I declined. I show up to clean it myself to find a puddle of water and soaked seats because they left my windows down for the weekend. My fusebox was uncovered and their response was probably did your truck some good. A very unproffesional and tasteless attitude. Then I find my battery tampered with and my shore power line pulled out. The service mgr responded to this with we have alot of people jumping our fence to get to trucks, nothing they can do. Hopefully their other facility in Nashville is ran better and more honestly.

Avoid these idiots at all costs. They will ignore safety issues while truck is in the shop unless you are aware of the issue and instruct them to fix it. They will not properly advise on repairs that will cost more later, they let you tear up your truck so they can later gouge you for more substandard work performed by underpaid techs. The next time I see someone spray ether into the intake of one of my trucks Im going to SCREAM!

The experience Was horrible trying to get there when they could fix it was lied to about that was quoted three different prices and price went up each time.look like they have gotten as bad as the one in nashville before I go to another cumberland international I will get rid of the international truck was quoted originally 1300 to 1400 then if they break the bolt another 1100 to 1000 the ending total is 4084.00 I think I am being cheated.
