I had bad transmission Output bearing and the rear main seal of the transmission on my car. Most of the places, I contacted were kind of reluctant to do the partial job on the transmission. I was unable to get my car fixed because of the cost factor. Fortunately, when I called AAction Transmission and spoke to Les, who did the job at a very reasonable price. After reading so many good reviews from this shop, I decided to give them a shot. Drop off my car early Saturday morning (8/30) for diagnostic. I was given a detail explanation of the issue with my transmission. My car need a transmission rebuilt. I decided to rebuild the transmission while I was at it change the fuilds and seals of transfer case, new engine rear main seal and adjust the gear knob which has play. Delivery is expected for Thursday. Today 9/3 call to check on the car, told me the delivery could be for tomorrow depending on parts arrival. Will come back to review the finish product. So far very professional.

I had my transmission fail on the road. The owner sent aTow truck and towed it to th e shop. They rebuilt my transmission in record time. Very freindly and reasonable compared to other repair shops . My vehicle was returned to me the same day. Never had a problem with the transmission again. Highly recomend this business.

Went to do transmission rebuild, got my transmission swapped with one from a front crashed junkyard car. They would never want to admit thats what they did and they kept saying they fixed mine and didnt do the replacement.If you decide to go there ask them not to paint over your transmission and check the VIN number on it after the repair. VIN matching your cars VIN is stamped in multiple places on transmission metal case, it will be visible on the bottom if the car is lifted. Also if transmission gets swapped improperly the TCM computer on it wont be readable at dealerships due to VIN mismatch.To justify 1 star instead of zero, they had unusually good responsiveness on the phone and they acted fast respecting the time of repair they committed to.

Dont waste your time, the owner seems nice but he is far from that. They damaged parts in the vehicle and did not want to take responsibility. HIGHWAY ROBBERY. Again, dont make the mistake i did. Take your car someplace else. Also, i barely leave reviews except when its for a public service announcement, so no one else gets conned by these folks. Its hard enough out there and people save money for years to fix issues in their car such as transmissions and its NOT RIGHT that once you finally save the money and get the job done, the shop does a bad job and does not take responsibility.Les: its not always about the money, customer service should be first and doing the right thing by clients should be your priority over making money.I hope someone reads this and takes my advice to heart.

I am extremely satisfied with the quality and friendliness of the service here. My car broke down on a Sunday, had it towed to the dealer, and they told me it was the transmission. I called several places for estimates and A Action had the best price and could take my car in right away! They repaired the transmission on my vehicle within a couple days. Excellent Service I tell you. I have never had this great of service before in my life. My transmission needed to be fixed and I walked in there and told them What I wanted done. They werent the pushy auto mechanics that try to shove down your throat with hey how about a oil change or your brakes needs work. They were very respectful and stuck to want i needed done. With 24 hrs, my transmission was fixed and I was back on the road. They were so quick and so accurate on my car. I would not trust any other Auto shop to work on my car. I was very happy with the results and the price. :)

Absolutely amazing service, was worried on pricing / service as transmission folks are abusive, but these guys are completely the opposite. They did work that would have cost $3k at Amaco, for $1.5k. The owner Les is extremely nice, honest and helpful! 150% recommended!

Truly the best repair shop I have ever been to. They gave me multiple repair options so I could choose what fit my budget. I went with the more expensive one as it replaced more components so I shouldnt need to worry about repairs for a long time. They are always busy because they do great business so call ahead and schedule an appointment to make things easier on you and them!

Sometimes that can be risky, but A Action is a transmission shop that you can trust. I thought this was a good place to have my transmission rebuilt but obviously not, I had it done a year ago and its already messing up they told me they were going to change my transmission gasket pan when they rebuilt the transmission but come to find out it was never changed. Worst decision I made obviously trusting their word Im very disappointed in their service.

My faithful mini van got stuck on my way o deliver my children and It sounded like it was just going to explode and would barely move change gears and move. After a tough month, this was the last thing I needed. i ended up at AAction Transmissions based on a recommendation from my husband colleagues. I drove up in tears and in a panic and met Les, the owner. He assured me that he would tell me what was going on at no fee. He and his staff comforted me (they probably thought I was loony). One of his mechanics gave me ride to a nearby car rental agency and offered to wait to see if I got a car resolved. Because I needed a vehicle prior to school dismissal. Again I cried, and this friendly gentleman treated me as if I were his relative. I herd later from Les about the issue with my transmission and how much it would cost to repair. He gave me and my husband the breakdown and told us that he was going to give us the best possible price because he knew about the recent health/job issues we had just faced. (those which I probably blurted out between panic and tears) Of course we had no choice, we went ahead with the repairs. After looking at prices online and speaking to our son and son in law about the price Les gave us, they were amazed and said we had been given an extremely good deal. The dealer would have chard us over double what Aaction Transmissions did. I got my van back just as timely as they promised. This time I was all smiles and filled with gratitude. It was so refreshing to find people like them. Kind, fair and professional. I dont ever use Yelp, but I felt compelled to review them. We had some transmission slippage and stopped in and had a man look at the transmission. He identified the problem as minor and fixed it promptly and got us on our way. It turned out that the man who fixed our problem was the owner of the shop, Les Merritt. He never even identified himself as the owner, which my wife and I were very impressed by. As a woman its hard to find a place that does ANY mechanic work, without getting taken advantage of. Recently I had a great experience with Aaction Transmissions because they didnt try to push me into any other checklist of items that other places have tried to do to me. Instead they were able to pre-diagnose the problem over the phone based on my description and they were RIGHT about what the problem was! Honestly, this was pretty amazing as I know nothing about cars and could only give broad delayed start with a vroom vroom sound and little engine that could feel to engaging of my clutch descriptions. Thank you for treating me like I am a valued customer, not just the current dollar!
