If you are looking for HONEST, efficient, and fair service look no further! I will never take my car anywhere else. After assessing my car Carl even told me that my car could be fixed by a dealer for free due to a TSB. He cost himself money but I appreciated the sincere service. As Carl said hes a reasonable guy because hes been in this business for 50 years...even though hes 29 :) Great and caring mechanics!

I couldn’t be more grateful for the service i received from park st garage. carl is so friendly, caring, honest, and fair. they squeezed me in right away and fixed my car right away. i forgot my most favorite coffee mug on the counter and they put it in my car for me too! i can’t say enough nice things about this business :)

I cant say enough positive things about Park St Garage! Theyve kept my car running for years longer than it should and always at a fair price. Theyd always break down the problem, tell me if its something that could wait (how long and if waiting would make it worse) and try to find alternatives to fit within my budget. They saved me so much money / hassle over the years. They always showed me the broken/replaced pieces and explained what caused the problem. Would recommend to anyone in the Madison area.

Dave is the best mechanic around. Always let you know the cost before fixing. Vehicles are fixed in a timely manner. Very courteous and fair. Wouldnt take my vehicles anywhere else. I cannot believe any negative reviews due to the fact I have know this garage for years and no problems. I did notice that there are only two negative reviews out of so many five star ratings. Best business for auto care.

Reasonably price auto repair, I have done all my repairs at this shop all these years, owner Carl is a wonderful man! They do get a ton of bookings, so call in early for your repairs.

I have taken my car there for routine work like oil changes and replacing brake pads. Prices have always been very fair, and the owner is very honest and a nice guy. Not one of those places that tries to rip you off if you are a woman (sadly, there are some places like that in town.) Quality of work is good, too.

I pulled into the shop with an emergency on a Saturday afternoon, when they were technically closed. They were able to patch up my 32 year old car and get me on my way again in minutes. Wonderful people! Thanks so much!

I love these guys! They are professional, personable and most important, reasonably priced. It is hard in this day and age to find a place that doesnt feel like they are screwing you over. I can honestly say these guys care about what they do and they do it well.

My rig has never run this well! Have a 29 y/o jeep with a carb, and its very hard to find a mech who knows what theyre doing. Dave is now the jeep-whisperer as far as Im concerned. Honest, trustworthy, good prices, and very capable. Highly recommend!

I wish I could rate better as the mechanic that fixed my car is amazing, the owners are not. I trusted them with my vehicle. They left the keys to my car on the counter and my vehicle was stolen from them. If thats not bad enough I find out they are not liable for anythibg because the car was moved to the lot, but they had the keys on the counter. Now Im out all of my possessions and the bill to have my vehicle repaired.

Always helpful. They have gone above and beyond for me a few times, just because they are good people. They will show you the parts that they replace, so you know they arent just inventing work. Their prices are always reasonable, and sometimes even come in below estimate. They stand by their work. The one time a faulty part was installed, they were quick to replace it with a better quality part at no additional labor costs, just the difference in price between the first and second part.Highly recommended!

Would definitely recommend! Very fair and never had a problem with any of the repairs. They always have done good work and they are not way overpriced.

We have been taking our cars there for over 20 years and will never go anywhere else. Carl and Dave are terrific mechanics. They operate what is probably the best independent garage in Madison.

Brought my vehicle here. They told me what was wrong with it. I figured it was one of 2 things and I was right. I asked if they could just do part of the repairs to save money and the guy got mad. He said we can’t do that, we need to make sure it works. Then the part at autozone is 25 dollars and they charged me 75. Avoid this place like the plague.

Park st Garage, and especially Carl, have always treated us right. They never overcharge, are always willing to show you the damaged or replaced parts, and always make time to tell you what went wrong and why. Ive been taking our busted up van to them for 3 years, and they keep it on the road, and even installed a new stereo for us gratis. Great Shop.

Very 50s garage setting with great service to match

I paid over $1100 in repairs only to have my van break down on my way to work less than a month after getting work done. Not to mention the final cost was substantially higher than what I was initially quoted and nothing extra was done. Overall I feel like I got scammed and I wouldn’t recommend this establishment to my worst enemy.

Not a good experience at all. They charged me nearly $200 more than what I authorized, then refused to give me my car back.. I had to get a lawyer involved and wasted a lot of time on these idiots. Also, when I tried to leave, Dave grabbed my by the arm and tried to yank me out of the car, causing an injury and the police to be called. I would not recommend these people as there will be a lawsuit filed shortly.

Honest mechanics at a fair price

Honest. They care. Theyll tell you what options you have, you choose what you can afford. They have worked fixed and maintained my Izusu honda and mazda -no poblems at all. Again - they wont rip you off, upsell etc etc. Thats Priceless to me.
