I have been a patron of this business for many, many years. It is a busy and popular place for a reason and some times you will have to wait. Also remember that a lot of regular customers have appointments so just because someone is seen before you does not mean they are getting preferential treatment, it means that they have an appointment and you were a walk in. Not a good idea to try to walk in during busy season, especially on a Saturday. Considering I’ve probably been coming to them for more than a dozen years without any problems whatsoever with infections, I do not believe the negative reviews that say that they do not sanitize their equipment. The place is spotless.

I hate giving bad reviews because I loved coming here for my nails but this time my husband took me here for our anniversary and now I regret it. The Lady cut a chunk of my nail and bed if my nail off on both sides of the right big toe. It bled badly and hurts very very bad. Then having nail polish on top of it, it burned like crazy! This was all done on Friday 12, 2021. Now I have trouble walking on it. It is infected and will have to see my doctor. Now Im wondering in back of my head was the tools even cleaned when they pull them out of the drawer. I wont be coming back to this place now and several of my family members go here and Im going to warn them not to come back either. I paid $45 for the best pedicure and this is what I get. Update now on two antibiotics for infection.

You will have to wait a very long time even if you have an appointment. I did not have an appointment today and I waited for an hour and 15 minutes and I walked out. No one said a word to me the entire time I was waiting. Not very professional. I have been pretty loyal to this salon and have gone here for 15+ years. This experience makes me want to look for another salon.

I got an SNS manicure with tips done for my engagement pictures, and Michael did an amazing job! He spent a lot of time making sure my nails were exactly how I wanted them. My nails and cuticles were in rough shape going in for my appointment, but Michael worked wonders! I have tried several other nail salons in Macon, and MT Nails is by far the best! The pricing is also very reasonable. Everyone was very nice, and the salon was super clean.

Don’t bother if you aren’t 50+, a regular with an appointment, or look like you live in Idle HourToday was my fourth time going to this salon and if there was a way to give anything less than one star I would! I will write this review based on all four experiences there. These experiences span over a 8 mo timeframe.My first time at MT Nail was way better than expected. I went on a Saturday morning right as they opened, got in immediately which I thought would be a chore bc they asked if I had an appointment and I didn’t. The service was amazing and the technician was very thorough and took her time. Zero issues and I decided this was going to be my salon from now on. Unfortunately my schedule does not allow for consistent appointments and the lady was kind and understood.Second visit, bc the first was so amazing, went during the week early morning. They were busy but I was seen. Technician was rougher but over all did ok. Not the same first experience but also a different tech. No real issues until it came to payment. I didn’t have cash to tip and the lady got really ugly saying “well I will take a check!” Um no bc I didn’t have one of those either. She absolutely refused to add a tip to my card and practically threw it back to me. Well I felt awful bc I wasn’t able to tip and I didn’t have time to run to the bank before I had somewhere to be. So after going to my appointment I went back and gave her cash tip, albeit not what I would have normally given bc she was so rude.So third visit is where it goes down hill and doesn’t recover. My mom, daughter, and I go in again early Sat morning with no appointment. We get sat and people follow in after us. Every single person is waited on but us! No one mentions needing an appointment or if these others have appointments the only difference was we were in shorts and tshirts and the others were in fancier clothing. My mom says something to a technician then there is a lot of internal discussion (not in English) then we are ignored for another 5 min so we leave. We waited patiently about 45 minutes I might add.I returned for my fourth visit today 5/25/21 just after lunch so maybe 1245ish thinking my last visit was a fluke and to give them the benefit of the doubt. I am greeted and sat. Not a lot of help so I didn’t worry too much about it I had a blanket I was working on to occupy my time. As I am waiting an older lady comes in which the tech greets by name. At this point I have been waiting about 15 minutes. When the first tech gets finished she goes to that lady first. I thought hm, well maybe she had an appointment at 1pm so again didn’t say anything bc I didn’t want to be rude but I thought well I should have been acknowledged at least. While still waiting 30 min at this point at least 4 additional older ladies clearly from the Country Club come in and are greeted and Sat. So the second tech gets finished and someone from the front comes back and they start getting the water ready for everyone but me! No rhyme or reason. I waited patiently thinking they would come over but nope nada. I might as well have been invisible with my huge blanket I am crocheting in my lap. So I finish my last row pack up my stuff and leave. They only looked up once to see me packing and looked at me as if I were crazy. No one talked to me, stopped me, or asked if I could be helped.If appointments are required for this establishment they should let you know before seating you. All customers should at least be acknowledged if they are sitting there for more than 5-10 minutes and despite their appearance should be helped! I would like everyone at MT Nail to be reminded that although you may work in North Macon you are still a part of Macon, GA! Oh and they have signs about tipping in cash now! FYI that is rude and customers are not required to tip. Needless to say I will not return to this establishment. Consider this review your last tip from this customer.Best wishes, you will need them.

I walked in and was not greeted so I asked where should I sit for my pedicure only to be skipped over for three other people who came in after me. I walked out with wet feet. I will never go back.

Im always hesitant of nail salons cause I dont get my nails done often but this place was really great! Establishment was clean and staff are really nice and the girl did an awesome job on my nails! I was getting my nails done for an Avril Lavigme concert so I wanted black glittery nails with pink polish and a black star on my middle fingers. She painted the stars and got them perfect and I got lots of compliments on them from other fans at the show!

Great atmosphere! Calm, Relaxing, & Peaceful. Tastefully decorated. Staff is wonderful. Im always happy & satisfied with their services. Edit: Wow! New equipment, new decor! The beautiful flooring and lighting sets the ambience even more for pampering. Ask for Hannah! ❤️

This was the best manicure and nail salon experience I have ever had! This was the first place that has never accidentally cut me when I get sns! Michael did my nails and he was so funny and nice! Very relaxing and happy with my experience!

MT Nails is wonderful! It is very clean, and the customer service is great. I see Michael for S&S, and he always does a great job! There are so many great colors to choose from. I would highly recommend this nail salon.

Appointments must be made now. No walk in service. Masks are required. But, same polite, professional services.Extra care is being taken to ensure distancing and additional disinfection.

Wonderful salon! Clean and beautiful atmosphere. It was pretty busy when my mother and I went, but there was not much of a wait or a rush since there were quite a few employees working. The employees are friendly and good at their jobs. I received a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow waxing. 10/10 would recommend!

I had an appointment but it didn’t matter. Walk-ins were served with no regard to appointments. Lack of help. They should not take appointments if they can’t / won’t honor them.

The lady, who does the eyebrows, is horrible. She is not welcoming at all. She messed up my eyebrows TWICE! Ive only visited twice to get my brows done and she messed them up both times. And then before I even went the first time, I called and asked for pricing to get eyebrows waxed and was told its only $8, but she charged me $10. I dont know if she voluntarily included a tip, but she doesnt deserve one from me. Horrible customer service and brow lady. Get someone new to do your customers eyebrows. A nice place, but Im not feeling the service provided to certain people from this place.

I left with nail polish all over my fingers, and the gel spilled over the edges of my nails and cuticles and wasn’t cleaned up. The paint was also extremely uneven and my nails were visible in some spots

MT is my go-to for nails. They are so caring and kind, and they take excellent care of my hands. I have social anxiety issues and they don’t mind at all that I’m not chatty. Pleasant atmosphere, much nicer than most affordable nail salons I’ve been to. When I broke a nail all the way down to the quick only two days after getting them done, MTs staff fixed it up for me, no charge, and made sure to check on it next time I came in. I just love them. Always MT.

Service is usually great. Today however was really busy and they were short staffed. I waited for over an hour and the technician seemed rushed.

They are so clean! You will have to wait because of their popularity (Ive even had to wait in the dead of winter for a pedicure), but it is worth it. They use covers on the tubs for pedicures and open sanitized utensils right in front of you. They do a good job, but are efficient. Best place in Macon, in my opinion!

WARNING STAY FAR AWAY they are imposters. Pretend to be clean but are not use equipment then put it back in plastic bag with not cleaning it. Got a pedicure and manicure by a lady who was too rough got cut several times. Then when it was time to pay she kept dropping my money on the floor like she wanted a tip. REVIEWS ARE FAKE STAY AWAY. JUST A BIG MESS IN A PRETTY BUILDING.

Mt nails..........MMMMMM I went there with my friends and asked for a pedicure and it was great and then I asked to just get my nails painted not a manicure! I got what I wanted but they don’t look great they look o not k I bite my nails and I know it maybe hard to paint them but you could at least try to do to the best of your ability!!

The pedicure was amazing and very welcoming to me. And nail done amazing! I would recommend this place and not any other place in Macon! 🥰

So relaxing and everyone there is incredibly nice. I got a pedi and an s&s french manicure which together was $80 so it’s a bit pricey but well worth treating yourself. I’ll definitely be back for my regular manicures as well!!!

This is our normal place to get our nails done at. I am usually pleased with the services we receive here. However today, I was highly disappointed. We were seated in our chairs and watched and waited as our water got cold and 4 people that came in after us were taken care of before us. Then once we were finally getting our toes done it was like they were rushing through it. We have had better visits there in previous days.

Very clean, chic, and professional. Went in for a gel pedicure for my first time. My feet truly feel revived and cared for. I will definitely be back!

This is a great salon! I arrived as a late walk in and was immediately greeted and invited to take a seat -- there were at least a dozen techs servicing guests, so I knew it wouldnt be a long wait. Im new to the SNS (dip) manicures, and this place has now set the bar for that experience. My tech (and the one working on my friend sat next to me) had an extreme attention to detail, and I was blown away with the results. Im a week past my service, and my nails still look as amazing as they did on day one. Unlike other salons, whose dip polishes lifted at the edges after a week (getting my hair stuck underneath - yetch!) because the tech expertly filed and buffed, Ive had absolutely no lifting/peeling/chipping.I will be back.

Went here for the first time, Thao did my nails. She made sure I was comfortable, and she also took her time and made sure she didn’t mess up. I totally recommend going here. The place is really nice, clean, and when you first enter they are very friendly.

I had never been to M T Nail before, but I saw this place had 5 stars so I was excited to come and try it out. The prices here really seemed to beat other stores I had viewed, and I thought I was getting a great deal....til after walked out of the store unsatisfied. I received a manicure and the lady who did my nails seemed to have no consideration at all for how I wanted my manicure done. She rushed through the whole process. At the end of the manicure, I noticed I had some nails that hadnt been fully covered in nail polish, and ones that were had had paint leak down the sides and onto my skin! I did not feel welcomed there, it smelled bad and the service was just simply poor. I would only come back if I DESPERATELY NEEDED my nails done.

I went there for the first time last week and absolutely fell in love, their work is great!They have SNS and ombré SNS as well!

This place was so bad! I don’t know how they have so many rave reviews, but anyway.I came about 45 mins before they closed, and asked for a fill in and pedicure. they agreed, and i was having them done at the same time which was perfect. I asked the price for the pedicure and fill in. pedi was $25, that was ok. but the price for my gel fill in was $42. I’m not use to paying that much for just a fill, so i told the one doing my fill to just do polish instead. it became this thing, even getting the manager involved. so she comes back and tells me she’ll charge me $30 for the fill and polish color. thats fine too. But once thats stated, the fill lady and the pedicure lady started talking to eachother in their language, stealing glances at me and laughing. then another lady came in and they laughed together, and then another. it was embarrassing bc i felt scrutinized by them just for a misunderstanding.After that, everything went worse, the pedi lady was rushing and dropping my feet on the stool, damn newr bruising my heels, i even asked her if she was in a hurry bc she was hurting me by being so rough.Then the fill lady kept messing up the acrylic, she had to go over 3 nails 3 times each. It was obvious that she didn’t do acrylic nails often. Then came time for actually painting my nails, and she rushed big time. My nails look so bad, im going home to take the polish off. My toes look bad as well. All in all, terrible experience, would not recommend those two ladies.

Called and made an appointment for 5:30pm. Showed up at 5:17 and began my wait. At 5:43, they took a girl that was a walk in to a pedicure chair. When I asked about it, they tried to shrug me off like they didnt understand my question as to why she was being serviced before me. Kept asking and they just started talking in some other language. Walked out just now. Dont recommend to anyone (walk-in or appointment). Not sure how they received a high rating, poor poor service.PS- saw a lady take tools from a drawer and put them in those sanitary sleeves that are supposed to signify the tools have been sterilized. Dont be fooled. Theyre not sterilized or cleaned. Probably not even cleaned between customers. Just pretty packaging to trick customers. Im surprised that she did that right in front of me...was looking at her the entire time. She didnt care.

We went there today for the first time. We were not presented with any pedicure options, so we only received the bare minimum. My water for my pedicure was cold. My Male friend that I was trying to introduce to mani/pedis was very dissatisfied with his services. His toenails and fingernails are cut way below the nail bed. When we were done his hands and feet were so ashy and dry. The lady that did my mani/pedi cut me twice. Once during my pedi and once during my mani.Then once we were paying this chick had the nerve to ask about a tip!!!!! Tip is, be careful!!! Needless to say we will never return here again.

I Got A Full Set And Waxed Eyebrows Paid A Total Of $43 ( $35 for full set & $8 for wax ) , The Lady Who Did My Eyebrows Did An Amazing Job . , But The Man Who Did My Nails Was Horrible He Rushed Through Them , Their So Uneven & Also 4 Of My Nails Broke Already And I Just Went YESTERDAY around 3pm to get them done I am very unhappy and will not be going back .
