Dont forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a place. They compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Youre welcome :)! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I have been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure wont regret it.Very elegant place. Rooms are really nice & bathrooms are very modern. The pool is nice, not very big & not heated very well but its a nice area. They provide towels for you to use. Hotel is very clean & well organized. This place is so cool. Theyve filmed a whole bunch of movies here and when you walk in, youll clearly see why. The bar in the middle of the lobby is very cool. They have restaurants and shops inside too (kinda like a small mall). Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would go back just to grab a drink at the bar. Also a very popular place for conventions. Highly recommended

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! The rooms are nice. The view is beautiful. However, for the price of this room its definitely not worth it. I booked 4 nights here and Im currently laying in bed on my 4th night writing this review to help others not make the same mistake I did. For starters, All double bed rooms at this location are FULL SIZE beds The website does not specify and its misleading and makes you think its 2 queens. They are a little bigger than twin size mattresses. My refrigerator was broken I told the clerk on day 2 and they never sent anyone to replace it. The water pressure is extremely low. I felt like I was taking a Military basic training shower. The bed sheets and covers are very cheap and uncomfortable. They slide on the floor every night. Toilet paper is very thin and hard as well. Its a beautiful hotel but Im vacationing with my family and for the price of these rooms it should be much better. I told the clerk and she gave me $50 voucher to use at the bar. Marriott and Westin please DO BETTER!!!

This hotel is okay, but is not as good as most other hotels in the area at this price point. To begin, the lobby is very dark. Entering the hotel after being outside in the bright sunshine is like walking into a dark movie theater. I am not exaggerating here -- I had to wait by the entrance and let my eyes adjust to the near darkness in the lobby before I could even determine where to go to check in. The rooms themselves are clean and reasonably nice but lack the attention to detail that I prefer. For example, one of the latches on the closet door in my room was broken, so the door would not remain closed. Not a huge deal, but a bit annoying. It seems to me that the housekeeping staff could easily report issues like this to maintenance, but apparently such a policy is not in place at this hotel. Finally, the hotel management has chosen to save a few cents per room by eliminating some niceties that are usually standard at most hotels at this price point. For example, they use low-quality toilet paper in the bathrooms and do not include items like Q-tips. Overall, my experience at this hotel was reasonably good, but I will almost certainly choose another hotel in the area for my next stay.

Never staying at this place again. Reached on a Friday evening after booking 2 weeks beforehand & 8 hours of drive, only to find out they have no parking. Private parking is expensive. The front office staff lady was rude. We did not get the double bed bedroom we asked for and instead got an extra small bed rolled into our room after complaining. Not a good experience at all.

Really nice view and a huge hotel! The only thing I didn’t like was that I called ahead asking for early check in and they said not until 12 and that’s about time I get their and so I went to the front desk and waited for 40mins because there was two front desk and they’re both busy attending two people who’s complaining. When it was my turn they just simply said we moved the early check in to 1pm and hasn’t even called or said anything to me. Just disappointing. The room was small but aside from that everything was good with our 5 day stay

This hotel is in a great location, pretty extensive, with lovely decor and a nice view depend on where your room is facing. Customer service and housekeeping were excellent; it deserves more than three stars but not having a microwave on each floor didnt work. You have to go to the bar where theres one microwave and a line to microwave your food and make sure to check your food before leaving too.A little heads up you should ask if there is one in your room. If not, its available for $25.00.

It is very old and very pricey compared to other new hotels in the area. They have to renovate this place, such a great location but not managed well and no where near its potential. I stayed in a King Suite which was okay. Windows did not close well. Parking is problematic as well. There was a huge line which I had to wait for 15 minutes and it is valet parking only. Even for the guests parking is $50.

Desk staff was very friendly and helpful but that was the best part of staying here. The rooms are just okay and sheets were dirty. The whole room felt dirty, looked dirty and kinda smelled weird. And despite being 4 floors from the top you can still hear a ton of street noise. You can also hear a lot of noise through the closed door and walls. This hotel is definitely not worth the price. However, again, shout out to the lobby staff who were pleasant and helpful!

The place is beautiful but the service is absolute trash. Upon arrival you stand in line for over an hour just to get checked in. The room, whilst clean and nice, was missing anything even remotely resembling an information packet about wifi or anything else. Let them know ahead of time my dog was coming so I’d like dog bowls which they said they would provide, but they didn’t. Called room service to ask again for said bowls. Lady said they’d be right up. My daughter decided to book at this Hotel, last minute. (for 7 or 8 days) prior from moving abroad. She had 6 luggage’s and a medium size dog kennel on one of their carts. You would think if a guest had that many stuff that the employees standing near the door would open the door for her instead of chatting among each other.Luckily my wife and i were staying at a different Hotel. My family we travel a lot. From Japan, Taipei, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, and a small Island called Saipan and Guam. And with all our trips we only experience 4 or 5 non-hospitality/ no customer service, and this hotel is basically one of them. The Hotel looks nice from afar but the service is lacking. We have stayed in 5 star hotels and even 3 star hotels and there are some 3 star hotel that beats them in customer service.I stayed at this 2 star ⭐️ motel named I think Apple Motel in Idaho and their service was much better.I sure hope this Hotel works on improving their hospitality..!

The ONLY reason I am giving a 2-star instead of a 1-star review is the excellent service I received from Alfredo and the hotels valet team, and Rose the bartender. Otherwise- what a disappointing stay.I checked in with Mario, the manager, who said hed give me a discount on my valet parking: $25 per night. But alas- I was charged the full amount upon my automatic checkout. And when I tried calling to speak to him directly, I was disconnected by the hotel staff. Absolutely unacceptable. The room itself was clean enough, but had a dingy smell. The sheets were a little scratchy, and the towels were VERY used and worn out. Their website didnt mention the in-room dining was unavailable- so when I called to place an order, it was upsetting to hear it actually wasnt available. I ordered food from the downstairs bar instead, and it was boring, bland- and frankly cheap.Overall, it was SUCH a disappointing stay. I booked this hotel for my weekend excursion to Downtown LA because I was wanting a bit of luxury- and since this property bears the Westin name, that is what I was expecting. But you unfortunately wont find luxury at this property. I highly recommend you stay elsewhere.

The hotel itself is just awesome! We ended up on the 15th floor of the blue tower which overlooks the homeless camp under the bridge. We did watch some pretty awesome golf action down below from one of the homeless guys brushing up on his short game.So the room was good, I’m not sure what other reviewers were talking about, with it being outdated, there are charging plugs and ports everywhere you look! I feel like the review I saw that said that wasn’t from too long ago, unless that is something they literally just changed recently. There’s only really two things I would put down as negative marks. The first thing as when I asked about parking, they were anything but forthcoming about where to park for this hotel. Basically I would recommend you pay the $49 and get your car valet parked. He did mention that part. Maybe everybody already knows that, but the problem is the guy that I talked to behind the desk when I called also said you can park in the public parking garage across the street. The problem is I spent an embarrassingly long amount of time trying to figure out how to get into that parking garage (spoiler! You can’t, it’s closed!) only to end up parking in the US Bank tower, and by the time I was done with that I might as well have parked valet. The other thing, maybe this is normal at hotel pools because I don’t spend a lot of time in them, but at some point an attendant came out and basically came across like a shake-down to make sure everybody had their room keys. On one hand, I appreciate that they want to make sure that people aren’t abusing the situation or that they don’t have random people, that don’t belong, hanging out at the pool. I get that, I think it was maybe more the manner in which he did it, that really kind of struck me as odd. Maybe I’m not used to hanging out downtown in big cities.Overall, it was nice to be in close proximity to all the stuff that’s downtown in this area, but on the other hand, I’m probably just gonna stay in a suburb somewhere off of a freeway, the next time I visit. That’s more of a personal preference though, this is why I could never live in a big city. As far as the amenities, the hotel room itself, the front desk clerk was super helpful when I was checking in, once I finally got there - all of that was great. I can’t complain about the hotel itself. My issue is probably more about life in downtown LA!

Had to cancel our hotel reservations on August 29th due to movie filming going on at the hotel, which was very disturbing due to the aggressive security telling me and my wife we could not use our cellphones while in the hotel. That demand was a deal breaker as i use my cellphone for business purposes. The filming crew security informed me to take up my issue with management and i did just that and the Hotel Manager Hong Tan canceled our hotel reservation for the two nights we had rented. Prior to that there was an issue with our non smoking room having a strong smoke odor, however staff exchanged our room. Lastly, the pool was bombarded with dirty towels that day and there was no staff there to clean. I was shocked this is a 4 star hotel, because while the hotel rates and parking fees of $49 per day are consistent with a 4-star hotel, the overall environment was dated and old. All the restaurants were closed. This was an extended trip and our stay at previous hotels like the Sheraton and holiday Inn Express actually was superior to the Westin Bonaventure as far as cleanliness and overall service. At the time i wrote this review, our refund had not yet posted to my account. I have been to the Westin in San Diego and it was wonderful, so maybe they were having a rough week with all the filming going on. I think its imperative film crews understand that after they leave, the hotel still has an obligation to their guest, even if we only pay $500 compared to the millions film companies pay. Me and my wife did not feel appreciated that day and i am unsure we will return as we frequent the L.A area alot.

So, I had a problem with my third party booking site which caused the hotel to not have my reservation in the system. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They were patient with me and did their part in getting my booking together so I could check in. The yellow tower elevators need to be fixed. Only 1 of them worked. I did not like that you have to use your room key to activate the elevators. I got stuck on it going up and down because it would not register my key. I feel they should prohibit smoking of any kind around the immediate outside area of this hotel. The smoke smell seeps into your nose as soon as you step out of the car and it gets pushed into the lobby as the doors open. A big no for me. Based on my time here, a lot of younger people like myself tend to stay here, which causes more noise and smoking. The architecture of the hotel is very unique. Even though I didnt have a horrible experience, I wont be staying here again. Just my personal preference. I picked this hotel because it was a cheaper bundle on the booking site. Ill be sure to stay in West Hollywood/ Hollywood or Beverly Hills the next time Im in L.A. If for whatever reason I do stay downtown; Ill have to chose another hotel.

I’m mortified. I suggested this hotel to friends for a weekend in LA, because I’m used to Westin Hotels having a higher level of quality. This Westin was obviously understaffed, and is long past due for some renovations. Carpet in the room was torn, the level of cleanliness was barely passing, and it looked like someone had tried to kick doors down as some of them were dirty and hung crookedly. Do not go here expecting a Westin experience. Further, my husband and I will be reconsidering our loyalty to Marriott hotels, after this experience.

Positive: The hotel is located downtown but convenient to the highway and restaurants. Negative: The valet parking attendants are too slow. When you call down to have your car ready, it isn¿t ready when you get there. The room I had was in serious need of updating and the walls were thin.

I wound come again. Nothing special in this hotel. No good views at all. If you get the most expensive room, which I got. You only get views to the high way. I think there are better hotels out there. The room was very basic, and small, not even a bathtub. So if you’re here only to sleep. I recommend you this place but if you want something better you can search somewhere else

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous architecture, and within walking distance of downtown. Bring Fido with you, they have a nice grassy area (with real grass, not turf!) to take them out. Housekeeping staff were so kind and gave us some tips for where to take our pup to the bathroom.

5 out of 5 stars! Ill never forget telling all of my coworkers and family about this incredible hotel. I am very pleased and fulfilled by their generous and excellent manner in which they welcomed them. They never let me down when I have high expectations. For me, the clean and refreshing atmosphere added significantly to their rating. Wishing you even more clients in the future.

Slow check in and my body is covered all over in red spots after sleeping in their bed and using their bath products. The valet was very nice though.

We appreciate the hospitality and accommodations offered by their staff and employees. The five-star ranking is well-deserved. Last weekend, we stayed at this hotel. It was spacious and close to the city. Because of the pool, the kids love to play here, and the rooms are very cozy and comfortable. Staying here was always our first choice when we were in the city.

The physical building are amazing. Met some EXCEPTIONAL employees and to those thank you. The actual rooms just ordinary. However, the hotel is so poorly run and there are more bored, unhappy, incompetent employees than the five exceptional. The parking and check-in were the worst. My partner went to the 5th or 6th floor to make a phone call and was approached by some sort of security that told him he did not belong there. He mentioned there was no sine age and was told the floor was for millionaires and that everyone knew that but millionaires like their privacy but were uncomfortable with signs. Really? So many things went wrong with valet parking I just tipped and thank the good, employees and marveled at how they could do their job among such a poorly run place. So happy to have seen the place but I could never recommend a longer than one night stay. We were there three days.

Still a Westin, but could do better. Service was super slow, 45 minutes to check in although the gentlemen who I believe was the desk manager was very nice. There was a super rowdy and tacky crowd there the whole time, that was a bit of a disappointment, but I guess it was out of their hands. The room and hotel are still great, had a great time at the brewery. Great imposing location. Was frustrated that they didnt have a single tylenol on sight, my wife got sick during the night. Instead, they sent me walking to a 7-11 5 blocks away at midnight. Not good!

Got charged for an extra night parking. No response even after multiple emails to the customer support. When I call them, they keep routing me to some account service, who are incapable of resolving the issue. Wouldnt stay again for sure.

If you were looking for a nice and cozy hotel to stay in this hassle bustle city. I would recommend this hotel. They were the cleanest and coziest hotel to stay. The atmosphere of this hotel was so relaxing. It feels that youre staying in the countryside. The pool was so clean. Also, the room was so clean and smells good.
