We purchased a wedding band from a Helzberg in Branson, MO in October 2020. In April 2021, we took the engagement ring and wedding band to the Helzberg store at Gateway Mall in Lincoln for the 6 month inspection and to have the rings soldered together. They were extremely cold and rude to us and told us it would take 3 weeks. That timeline was true, however when I went in to pick them up they informed us that the rings had not been re-sized, which we had paid for when dropping the rings off, and they were re-sent to a jewelry tech and would take up to a week. They had not notified us the rings were being sent back in until I came into the store. At this point, we were 2 weeks away from the wedding. When I picked them up for the second time, the final ring was NOTHING like what the original Helzberg who sold us the wedding band showed us the fitting of the bands would be. The bands were soldered together crooked, they weren’t fitted correctly and had large gaps between each band, and the ring wasn’t even cleaned after they finished. After the second send-in, we were a week before the wedding. My fiancé suggested the Helzberg in Gretna to see if there was a possibility they could fix it in time. The ladies at the Gretna store were BEYOND helpful and assured us the ring would be sent in to their local jeweler, correct and back to the store in time. I dropped the rings off on Wednesday and by Saturday we received the call that the ring was done and ready to pick up (on a holiday weekend nonetheless).If youre in the Lincoln area, save yourself the time and stress and head to Gretna first!

Unfortunately the diamond specialists didnt really know their stuff (kept confusing clarity and color) and we got handed off to another specialist mid shopping trip. Not a large selection of diamond engagement bands either. Then wasted about 20 min of our time searching for a specific band online - which we could have done from home. Very disappointed.

They said no interest for 6 months and on the 6th month they added all the interest back on to the account. Scam do not do business here. Let them close down for cheating people. Karma. Remember the economy is pretty tight not alot of people buying diamonds. Enjoy the extra 400 dollars if I can prevent one other person from being taken advantage of it will be worth it.Oh yeah you notice the 5 star rating comments are real short can you say bots

This place does not deserve a rating at all after the experience my boyfriend just had at this place. He walks in to check out a custom made order and the lady that served him was beyond rude and disrespectful. Did not greet in a friendly matter and looked him up and down with disgust. My boyfriend works at an electric company so naturally he wears construction attire. After he had shown the lady a screenshot of what he ordered she looked at him and had the audacity to ask “Can you even afford that?” Seriously???? She is the most disrespectful human being for asking that sort of question the way she did just by judging a book by it’s cover, we are never going back. What a great first impression, definitely recommending to people not to go there

I purchased my $2,000 necklace from this store in 2015 and the chain has broken 4 times. The last time I went in the store, I was told that if I purchased life time insurance for the chain, I would pay around $190 and they would replace my broken chain with a brandnew one immediately or I would pay $39 for them to repair my old chain. I didn’t want to proceed with the insurance thing because I thought I would barely use my chain. And now it’s broken again. I went in and told them I’d like to purchase insurance and have mine replaced. But then, they said they would only replace IF they couldn’t repair it. I asked them again and again how come I was told a different thing. The manager said maybe at that time, the store had a spare chain to replace, but then if they would be able to replace with a spare chain at that time, does it mean they could still do that now. What they could do is order a new chain and swap it for me. I’m still confused about what was told this time and the previous time. I would suggest having them write everything down on paper. Don’t just walk away thinking you can come back and be offered the same service. I feel like I can’t trust this store anymore. I purchased a few items today because I didn’t want to drive all the way to Omaha as it’s getting close to Christmas and I don’t have much free time. But I don’t think I will ever go back to that store. Just be careful!

I purchased a ring here and within 3 months 2 diamonds had fell out. They blamed it on the prongs. I dont care what caused them from falling out, I paid a decent amount of money thinking it was good quality. I didnt buy their protection plan. I went to the store with my receipt showing it was only 3 months old. (I had to have it sized as well, and that took 2 months). The male sales associate couldnt and wouldnt understand my frustration and refused to continue to help me. I asked for the manager and he said that she is busy helping another customer, I told him that i would wait. While I was waiting I was looking at other rings, another associate came to help me try on others, the male said to not get involved. Finally the manager came to talk to me. She said that I need to purchase the protection plan or they will send it on for an estimate. I stated that it was very clear to me that their quality of jewelry was very poor. I told her that I would turn it into my insurance company and never purchase from them again. Please beware before going into their store. Hard lesson learned!

My husband bought me a ruby ring there in 2017. In keeping up with the inspections, in 2018, it was found that one of the stones was cracked. The ring was sent off to have the stone replaced and came back with one very pink stone set among the four dark red rubies. I protested this and the ring was sent off again and came back with five lighter red stones. I was not pleased that the dark red stones (which I preferred) had been switched out but thats the way it is. At the inspection in November, a couple of the stones were loose so off it went again. At that time I was told the ring would be back December 18th and I would not be called unless there was a delay. I went to the store today, two saleswomen were standing by one of the cases talking to one another and were surprised I was there to pick up my ring because no one had made the calls yet about pick ups. One made a comment about how the delivery hadnt been sorted yet....why not? they werent doing anything else....but went to look for my ring. Turns out my ring and another just like it had been put in the wrong plastic bags. It took a minute or two for the woman to sort it out and she told me this is why we want you to wait until we call you. I told her I was told I wouldnt be called and her response was normally we dont but were pretty busy this time of year and dont have time to sort the deliveries right away. Again, why not? They were, literally, standing in the middle of the store talking to one another. Couldnt they have been checking their deliveries while engaged in conversation? Well be taking our future business to one of Helzbergs competitors.

I purchased a $17K diamond ring with a lifetime care plan from Helzbergs in Omaha . Which I need to say the employees are amazing. I came in to the Lincoln store to have my ring sized and cleaned. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I was told if I didnt have my care card they would not help me. Nate did not offer to look up my purchase to verify my care plan. He just walked off.

I stopped in this location and worked with the store manager on looking for a ring for my soon to be husband. I had no idea what direction to go; diamonds! No? Black? So many options. She asked me about his interests and his job. Things I did think about. He absolutely loves watches and he is a deisel mechanic, so she showed one that is called a breakaway for safety with his job and it had a pattern of a watch band. I knew as soon as I saw it that is was beyond perfect! The other part that I found so refreshing was that she found me what I wanted and the price was very reasonable. She could have showed me things much more expensive, but she did not. It was about finding the perfect ring :) Thank you!

Every Helzbers Ive been to has helpful and friendly people working there. I purchased a fantastic wedding set, and negotiated a great deal. Beyond that, theyre always willing to clean and check her ring, whenever we find ourself near a store. The service is fast and courteous. No regrets about doing business with them.

I was looking for something for my mom for her birthday but not sure of what I wanted to get. The manager Julie showed me a few bracelets and I never would have even thought of a bracelet. My mom loves it!! They know jewelry and have great taste in style. My budget was not fancy, and other stores have treated me as a lesser person because of it, but not Julie. I will be back for Mothers Day gifts!

My jewerler went out of business and herzberg is always so nice on doing a free cleaning and inspection of my ring. Well definitely be going to them to get my wedding band made since it has to be custom made because Ive always had great luck with their jewelry and wish we would have gotten my ring from them! Huge mistake going through Rogers Jewelers. They lied and it was a nightmare from the second we bought my ring there!

I am a little intimidated by jewelry stores as I feel they are pushy and just worried about making the sale. We decided to go into Helzbergs in Lincoln and had a hands down AMAZING experience. Julie was not only extremely professional, but down to earth, sincere and just super fun. We had an outstanding experience. She listened to what I wanted and showed me pieces that were exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be back.

She was able to find close to what I was looking for, but it wasnt an exact match. She took my information down and said she would contact me with more pictures that I might like better. I wish I could give them zero stars. They had me fill out a form to order in loose stones for me to view and potentially purchase. I called at 6 weeks and they claimed my order was on its way without bothering to verify my name and check the system for me. I called back at 7.5 weeks and they couldn’t find my order but wanted me to go back in to order with them again. Thank you for wasting my time Helzberg. I will never conduct business with you and will warn others against your shoddy business practices.

The store manager, Jules, is very unprofessional. The necklace I purchased here gave me an awful rash on my neck. The minute I took the necklace off the rash healed up. Jules told me she’s never seen a necklace cause a rash. She did not take any time to listen to my concerns. When I asked her to listen to my concerns then respond she told me to take my necklace and never come back. Please do your research before purchasing anything from this store!

Customer service was horrible from the manager. The actual person that helped was very kind. But the manager is rude, disrespectful and unwilling to help every time I go in there. The reason I wait til exactly a year to get my ring inspected... by the way so its still under warranty, is so that I dont have to deal with the manager. Too bad shes worked there as long as she has. She is ruining the helzberg image. I do not recommend this place because of her.

I visited Helzberg this afternoon to shop for a wedding band for myself. When I walked into the store, it was clear of any customers and had all five employees in a huddle waiting for people I guess. I walked right up to them and no one greeted me, so I introduced myself and asked to see the ring enhancer sets (2 rings that go around a solitaire style engagement band). I only received a blank stare and then one associate walked over to the case that contained the style I wanted...I just assumed I was supposed to follow her, as still no one said a word to me. She then began to assist me which was fine, and I started to try on some sets. She then was taken over by another associate (who I assumed was the manager) who appeared extremely bored of me and did not make eye contact with me the whole time. She interrupted me while I was describing the style I liked (to tell another associate to get off the phone) and never asked me any questions or suggested any rings for me to try. I finally asked to try single bands and she handed me one and just said here, put it on. I did and she then stated that she had a smaller one that would match my ring better and it cost less. She took the ring back and handed me a plain diamond band...how I got downgraded from a $1,500 enhancer set to a $250 single plain band idk...she seemed to have made her own judgement about what I could afford. I was treated as a nuisance and no one told me goodbye or come back or have a great day. Nothing. I just left the store and it was as if I had never been there. Kay jewelers across the way was the opposite, an amazing fun shopping experience! They will be getting my money, and it wont be $250..

We walked up to the check out counter to pick up a ring that was being resized and look for a men’s wedding band. There was an individual working the check out counter who did not greet us and walked away after making eye contact. We also had several other employees walk past us and stand waiting for new customers. We waited 20 minutes before a sales associate brought a customer to check out and we stated we had been waiting 20 minutes. She did not apologize but did get us the resized ring. Did not ask if we were there to purchase anything else. We will be taking out business (wedding bands, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and bridesmaids jewelry) elsewhere. I will never recommend Halzberg after this experience.

My wedding ring had a Baggett that fell out. I took to a friend who is a jewler, he said it is faulty craftsmanship, my jewler also said any reputable jewler would just fix for free, not Helzberg. They sent in for 10 days to get an estimate, and even tho my friend said he would do it for 50$ ish, they want 240$ (tho they did cut that price in half) the manager who was super rude was unable to tell me how much the Baggett cost, how much the metal work costs etc, very un informed. I would have just taken it elsewhere but I want it NOW, and it will still take another 10 days. The manager even admitted she knows nothing about fixing a ring. Dont go there!!! Save yourself the headache.
