Was in search for a proposal ring box with a light in it. The one I purchased online might not make it in on time. Darold sold me a broken one for $25 which I believe is way over priced. I have purchased multiple light ring boxes online brand new that look way fancier and brighter. All around $10 including shipping. Since I was in a bind I did end up purchasing it but did feel taken advantage of. If I didnt plan on proposing this week I wouldnt have purchased it from this store. Im from a small town and my small town businesses would have done something like this for free.

What a craftsman...they dont makeem like this any more...was willing to take on an impossible job with an old time piece they dont make anymore Ive had for over 30 years when no one else was even willing to look at it. My husband stopped in there today to get a couple links taken out of a new watch he got as a retirement present. He was in the store 10 minutes. They charged him $21. I think that is ridiculously high for the little they did. We wont be going back for any jewelry there.

Darold and his family are great to do business with. I came to Darold a year ago looking for an engagement ring, after I had tried two different highly popular ring stores in Lincoln. I had a specific design that I wanted for my now wife’s ring and the other place had a lot of trouble listening to all the detail and getting me the ring in a timely manner. I went into Darold’s store, he sat down with me and paid very close attention to the detail in my design and gave me his professional suggestions in the areas I had concerns about. Even though I was having trouble with other companies and I was in a time crunch, he didn’t take advantage of me or charge me a ridiculous amount. Darold designed the ring, ordered in a selection of center diamonds to let me choose from, and made the whole ring in his shop for me in a two week window. The ring has a total of 42 diamonds on it plus the center diamond and it turned out fantastic, she gets compliments on it all the time. Darold allowed me to give my wife the ring of her dreams and I couldn’t be more thankful. During our engagement, we went back to Darold for my wedding ring and my wife’s wedding band options. Darold’s prices are very reasonable compared to the other stores I had been to and the service that his family provides after the purchase is outstanding. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with everything that Darold and his family have done for us to make our engagement and wedding day incredible.
