Great prices, great service, no extra surprise fees and did I say I love my nails! Definitely will come back when Im in town and need a fill!

I was extremely polite, and still wasnt treated the way all other customers were. You guys should be careful when making comments about customers in Vietnamese. Dont assume a person doesnt speak certain languages because of their looks.Now, in addition to that... my service wasnt great. My nail was split in the nail bed during the service, the polish/product on my nail wasnt completely removed. I paid for a service that wasnt properly done, but the lesson Ive learned is to never again spend money where Im not respected/welcomed, and where the service requested isnt exactly the service received.

Modern nails? They should change their name to cricked nails. Very low quality not even 3 days of having these nails my nails cracked in half and I removed it so easily note they are acrylics. Not to even mention my cricked pointer finger! never in my life have I had such a horrible service not only that, they took out their own tip from my payment. So if you want expensive cricked low quality nails this is the place to go oh and don’t forget the little extra they will take out for their tip.

Went here for the first time and was kind of grossed out by the dirty floor and carpet by the front door. Looking around my chair you could tell it hasn’t been wiped down in a long time and everything around was dusty and just didn’t look clean. I was put in a chair for a pedicure and the massage power button was broken so i couldn’t use it. As far as the pedicure it was ok. She neglected my dead skin areas and went to town on my cuticles (ouch, fresh skin) definitely won’t make a trip back here with so many other places to choose from in the area.

Lots of gel color options readily available. Not the biggest sample of regular nail polish. Seemed clean. Nice pedicure massage, wish they would have scrubbed calluses more. Manicure was simple for the price.

Great spot!!! They are friendly and kind. They are very professional and speedy! I have gotten a pedicure twice and both times were great experiences.When getting a pedicure they have four scents you can choose from that make the experience really fun. The space is clean, they have lots of colors and options. I have loved getting to know the technicians.I highly recommend this spa!

Clean, great ambiance, only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I didnt see them open up a new set of sanitized cuticle clippers so not sure how often they sanitize their items. Overall I would come back because they did great work, friendly, and always available when Im in a pinch.

Fastest gel removal and reapplication of my life while still being a clean, beautiful manicure. it was my first time here, and i will be back if i’m in the area and need my nails done!

I took my granddaughters there, called and made an appointment and when we waked in on time there wasnt a manicurist available. We were asked to pick our colors, one was getting a full acrylic set and 3 of us were getting acrylic fills. On their service pricing board it shows that a full acrylic set is $28.00 and a fill $18.00. The first granddaughter day down and told the girl her color choices. The manicurist began to shorten the nails as requested but never removed the polish already on the nails. She began painting on the new color right over the existing color! Ithe other 2 were sat and had given their requests when I spoke up and said thats not how is done! She then told my granddaughter that she would have to choose another color because the one she chose wouldnt cover the old! Not one to say anything my granddaughter said it was fine and was very disappointed. A we sat there other people came in staying they had appointments yet everytime the phone had rand nothing was ever written down. When my granddaughter was done I was asked to take her place and I said no, its wait for someone else! When all 4 of us were done, I went to to pay and she started adding up $35, $28, $28, and$28? I said thats not right, your sign states otherwise? We were then told we had chosen from the wrong colors. Even though we told them at the beginning that we wanted acrylics. Having to wait is one thing, but Overcharging like that is dishonest, and I want the only one that this happened to while we were there. This time spent with my girls was suppose to be fun and ended up being an unhappy experience.

I had a scheduled appointment, which when I realized was running late I called and informed them, and was told this wasn’t a problem. We arrived and selected our colors and were then told to sit at two unprepared tables. My hand was immediately seized and she began very roughly filing my nails. It was so rough that my nail beds are still aching hours later. And at no point in time was there any true opportunity to soak my hands, to relax; get a hand massage; a wax dip, nothing. When I left I felt less relaxed and outraged by the amount of money I spent to feel borderline assaulted. If you want a semi decent paint job done in less then twenty minutes, come here, if you want to relax at all, go elsewhere.

Please I know it says above all 4 starts but that is because they delete bad reviews!! It is not a fun relaxing environment and they charge you even if you get no service!! please stay away! Also lady who did my nails Tina is only good when youre a regular! There was no communication from the nail stylist.

Staff was very rude this was the second time me and my friends went there and were treated this way the we’re very unpleasant and aggressive while doing my nails and my nails are terrible quality they have broken extremely fast and they refused to fix them even after they broke within 24 hrs of me getting them done definitely will be getting stuff done else where, the one guy that works there is the only one that tried to have a conversation with any of the customers and the only one that was welcoming

Today was the worst day at this place, the workers are getting in fights with each other and are crying and are walking out on the owner and are closing for the day. Now I don’t know what is the deal because I can’t understand them but my problem is that because they are having a bad day it does not mean that they have to do a nasty job on the clients, our pedicures and manicure and full set is all wrong, they get mad because we ask them to correct it and they are working in a hurry and just not doing the job they should do but yea they will charge you full price when it wasn’t even a good service. Brought my mother here for a Mother’s Day gift and it turn out horrible all because they are having problems with each other, this is not the clients fault and we should be treated better no matter the situation on your nail spa. Will never return to this place and will not recommend this place at all!!

The nails were amazing i loved it! But i saw no reason to make an appointment when we kept getting pushed back. But its okay my 3 stars was mainly because I called ahead to see if it was okay that I brought my 2 kids with me. They said yes. But there were other kids there and they were all just giggling nothing else. Because trust me I say something to my kids when theyre doing something they arent supposed to. And the lady just told me, no one to watch them for you omg.... came in for mothers day gift to myself and that comment was just rude.

This is my second time at Modern Nails and I left very disappointed in my manicure. I asked for a gel manicure, and left with messy hands (nail polish on my fingers and hands) and crocked square nail (when I asked for rounded nails). I asked 3 time for my nail technician to fix the shape of my nails and she continued to shaped them into a square shape. On top of that the shape is uneven, crocked and rough. The staff was very kind. But after an hour and 15mins and poorly done nails I left very frustrated and unsatisfied.

They had scheduling issues, it was dirty inside and my daughters acrylic nails look horrible. They also did not remove the excess nail polish from her gingers Do not use this place. For what you pay go somewhere else! As I am typing this my 15 year old daughter is painting over the horrible job they did on her nails for the $50. They rushed and did a horrible job.

Meh. I go here because its close to my house but regardless of if I make an appointment or if I walk in you have to wait at least 30 minutes before you get a chair. They do not honor their appointment times. After three tries, I wont be going back.Manicures and pedicures are just meh.

I came in to get shellac nails done for an event I was going to out of town. It was on Wednesday at around 2pm. Not busy at all, so great time to go. I didnt have an appointment but I walked right in and they helped me.So fast forward to 4 days later and one of my nails is chipped. Im one of those people that takes good care of my nails (especially after just having paid to get them done) so I was so sad and shocked that they didnt last. Day 5; second nail was chipped. And later that night I found a third. Im really disappointed with the quality of the products they use and unfortunately wont be returning. I paid so that they would last me at least a couple of weeks, but that wasnt the case.

Today I went for the second time and I am in love with the work they did! They greeted me when I walked in, they got me started quickly! Theyre truly amazing!

Love this nail salon so much. Everyone is so caring and very good. I had a full blown panic attack while getting a pedicure and had to immediately get up and leave. It was so embarrassing and I didn’t want to go back. However I did go back and they took such great care of me. I always feel so pampered. You’ll love this salon.

I got my gel nails done 3 days ago and almost every single nail is chipped or peeled. The manicure was so fast, not relaxing and they were so busy I felt like she rushed through the whole thing. I asked her to keep my nail length and round them and she filed the completely down to square. Terrible experience.

Worst experience ever. The lady was rough and did a poor job. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. If that wasnt bad enough, I got to smell the cleaning solution as they mopped the floor while I was being served. (They werent even closing for another 30 minutes or so.) I guess Ill go pay someone else to do a proper pedicure. Live and learn I guess.

I havent had a pedicure in years until today. It was amazing! I did the deluxe pedicure with shellac. $50+tip. The leg and foot massages were fantastic and long! I will definitely go back.

I came to this salon to get my nails done for my wedding. I don’t usually come here but it was the only place open. We had to wait almost 30 min after our appointment time. I got the classic pedicure and that was fine. I just wanted to replace the gel on my finger nails. The color was splotchy when the girl was done. They chipped the next day, and were completely chipped on my wedding day, not to mention that the color was completely wrong from what I chose. So disappointed :-(

This salon is so beautiful and clean! My mom and I arrived to the salon and we were quickly given a chair for our pedicures. They were soft and did an amazing job! Mimi, the owner was so personable and sweet and even stayed 30 minutes after the salon had closed to do a fill that I did not make a part of my appointment. The color selections are great which made me want to get my nails done as well. I highly recommend this salon. Thank you, Mimi!

They were all very nice. We got pedicures which they do cuticle, trim, and shaping then do a quick massage with lotion and a hot rag and then paint them. The pedicure is $25 but you can paid for more features like hot wax. They use liners and single use file and pumice stone. However, I dont think they clean (autoclave or chemically clean) their tools in between uses. I think each tech has their set they use on everyone. That would be my main suggestion for improvement for them is to sanitize all their tools before each use. Then itd be a top notch place. They were very lovely and kind and were great about getting a group of 4 of us a reservation together.

Haven’t had great experiences here. Everyone is nice but the work hasn’t held up well at all. Paid for an aryclic fill with gel and the gel was chipping the next day. Went back to get it fixed and on that same day an aryclic broke. I was sick of going back in after the 2nd time so I just paid to have them completely taken off elsewhere. Wouldn’t really recommend this place.

One of the best experiences I’ve had at a salon! The owners, Joey and his wife are such kind people. I appreciated how efficient they worked on my pedicure and full set to get me in and out at a decent time. Jonny who did my pedicure did an awesome job paying attention to detail and the shape of my toe nails. They have lots of colors and very comfortable pedicure chairs. Joey did a fabulous job on my almond acrylics! I LOVE them. Two weeks later and still strong with no chip.I also noticed that they are kind and honest with walk-ins. Not telling them it will be 20 minutes when it’s actually 40. Highly recommend for quality and price!!

My nail salon closed without notice and i didnt have a clue where to go. When they got to the point that I had to either find a new salon or take them off, i tried Modern Nails off Triumph Blvd.The young girl who did my nails was Quin. She was fast and did a great job. At the end I found out she is deaf and does not speak English. Im so glad i found her. Shes a cutie.

Mimi is my favorite in the whole world!! She is attentive, communicative, fun, honest, and the best nail technician Ive ever had! I get my nails done here regularly and love it. My nails seem to last longer here compared to other places Ive tried. I also like that they dont overbook so if they say its available, it actually is; youre not left waiting. The employees are great and get to know their regulars pretty well

Highly recommend!! I’ve been to Modern Nails twice now. Both times were fabulous! I got a pedicure both times and a manicure with shellac today. The staff is friendly, warm, and they take their time with your service. Sometimes I feel like salons rush and cut corners. Not the case here! Their pedicure is extremely affordable, includes an exfoliation, awesome massage, hot towel/mask, and they have the covers that go over the foot bath tub. And they have the matte after coat for shellac.

Ouch! I don’t think I’ve ever been in so much pain getting a pedicure done. This place is close to home. I’ve received quite a few word-of-mouth referrals, so I thought I’d give it a chance. I won’t again. Multiple women getting pedicures were wincing in pain and verbally saying “ouch”. This service should be relaxing!

They drilled my nails to oblivion, even after I mentioned that my nails were becoming sensitive. , Then proceeded to slap my hand and told me to relax. This place wasn’t very clean, they don’t have vents, and I got the impression that I was just another appointment to get through. Not recommending this place to anyone.

I went here this past weekend and it was a bad experience. The lady that worked on my nails did them so fast that they looked sloppy. She never asked me if they looked ok, if they were the right shape, or anything. I asked her to fix a couple that the paint has bleed over the nail beds and she acted so mad at me. She did them again and they still looked terrible but I just gave up. Do not go here.

It wasnt a bad experience but i wouldnt say it was amazing. They kind dug into the side of my toenails too much till it bled a little and it still hurts. They only had 1 pedicure option which is fine just usually theres more. They werent super friendly or attentive to my friend and I but i could tell they were with other customers.

The worst pedicure I have ever had. The water was freezing. Didnt even rub my feet or legs. Squirted lotion on and rubbed it immediately off with hot towel. Went with 3 other people and they felt the same. Dont waste your money!

I came to modern nails on short notice and they were able to fit me and two others in, in a timely manner. My polish and gems have held up well a few days later, and the shape looks nice.

I have been to this salon before and liked the way my nails have been done. So I took my daughter there she was treated so rude by the owner she left crying! I am so surprised the owner was very loud and rude. They have lost a customer!

I went once and they had messed up my nails. they were nice about it, but when i went back to get them fixed it was a different guy. the nails were even worse but i didnt want to be the person who made them do it again. they did nothing for my cuticles and it was very uneven. two of the employees started fighting while we were there and my friend and i were uncomfortable.

My $35 shellac nails started to completley peel off in less than two weeks. The experience was good, but I am disappointed that my nails didnt last that long. I tried to take care of my nails as much as possible, but they just peeled off.

See, the thing about Modern Nails is that I think they are great and do a fabulous job with customer service, fantastic relationships and being exceptionally clean and organized. I want them to be wildly successful because they are a wonderful team! But I dont want to compete with everyone else that wants to go there to get the best mani or pedi experience in the area. Can you see my dilemma?

I went with a friend for pedicures today. We had an appointment but they kept us waiting 20 minutes. Then they started my friend’s pedicure while I sat for another 20 minutes, they didn’t even start my water. Then the girl that did mine cut my toe nails way too short and was cutting way too deep when she trimmed my cuticles. I told her repeatedly to stop and she ignored me until I yanked my foot away. No massage and a crappy polish job. I won’t be back.

I was told the pedicure was 35 min when booking the appointment. When I came in person they told me it was 30 min and then ended up being 24 min.So instead of paying $25, I should’ve paid $20.71 for the shortage of time.

HORRIBLE! My friends and I had an appointment and here we are 30 minutes later still waiting. There are only 3 people working and there are 11 clients in here. They should not accept so many appointments if they don’t have the employees to cover.

Its beautiful inside and we waited 30min for our service. No problem at all. Its a holiday and was a last minute idea. However when we were choosing colors my 6yr old dropped the color rings and 3 of the nails chipped off. He was so rude and disrespectful. I offered to pay for them and to replace them. I own a salon and the color rings are not pricey however they do take time and time is money I get it. He wouldnt acknowledge me or talk to me about it but instead yelled at my six yr old who was left crying and embarrassed. We didnt get our services. Nor will we be back. Customer service is important even when youre upset. My children were very well behaved and it was an easy accident.

I came with my two sisters in law and mother in law to get our nails done for my little sisters wedding and the lady who did my manicure was so rude. Pulling at my arm instead of asking me to come closer and scoffing at me for not keeping up with her fast pace. I dont get my nails done often and I dont come to be rushed. It has been 3 days and is the day of the wedding and my nails are already peeling..My pedicure was fine but I have an infection in my big toe now because for whatever reason the tools they were using werent clean enough.I will never come here again. It was not worth the $70 I paid.Thank goodness they treated my sister in law better because it was important to me that her wedding week be perfect, but the treatment I was given was unacceptable. I have never been treated so rudely.Update on my nails: they all peeled off within 5 days and my cuticles are peeling and cracked. Dont waste your hard earned money here.

I had a pedicure here. They were pretty thorough, it was just on the short side (20 minutes). For $25, I expected something a bit longer.

This place is awesome! My friend and I came here together, I called and scheduled an appointment and they were very helpful on the phone. Then, once we arrived all the staff said hello and called me by my first name. They asked us if we wanted water. They also asked how the temperature of the water is. They use the plastic liners in their pedicure tubs and use disposable callus removers and files. You can clearly see they steralize all of their tools. The pedicure itself was awesome. It was everything you want in a pedicure: foot soak, massage chair, nail clipping, cuticle cleanup, callus remover, sugar scrub and massage, hot towels, lotion and another massage, attention to detail on nail painting. They didnt have an upscale pedicure system... everything was included and it was $25! They had good professional grade nail polishes like OPI and CND. Everyone in the salon was happy and friendly. The salon was SO clean. I would 100% recommend. My friend had never had a pedicure before and she was impressed. I am so so glad we found this place! Thank you!
