Fantastic trip. John was a great guide. Knowledgeable, capable and friendly. We had a great ride that ran smack into a hailstorm! John asked if we wanted to stop, try to find a hiding spot, or trek through it. He gave options to teach and let riders captain the boat in calm areas as well as ride the bull up front or jump in and swim at appropriate times. Bus was nice and warm for the trip back. Highly recommend. Good wet suit equipment.

We had an amazing experience. Xavier was awesome. Knowledgeable about the river and rafting in general, funny and knew about the wildlife we were going to see (and hopefully see) on the way. If we lived here I’d definitely do it again and again with them. The whole experience and crew were great. Highly recommended.

A great experience from beginning to end. They were one time. Our captain was very knowledgeable not only about rafting but about the area. The scenery was amazing as well. Very fun! Definitely a must when in Jackson, WY!

Kalley was an amazing guide who was very informed with the different features of the rapids. She was funny and engaging. It was a thrilling ride and I felt safe the whole time. Id recommend it anyone to do it. Even had a bald eagle fly right over our raft!

Our ONE summer vacation that weve been planning for the last six months... 20+ hours in the car. They call a little over AN HOUR PRIOR to our scheduled time on 7/19/21, as we were getting in the car to go there, to tell us that they CANCELLED our rafting reservation because of a staffing issue. At this point, all other companies are full and thats that. They said its going to take at least 5-7 days for my $805 refund. They offered no discount, no incentive, etc. to ever recommend or use their company again. We had three full days in the area. This was supposed to be half of one of our days. Instead, we ended up doing nothing. Extremely disappointed with how this was handled and the professionalism of Ben, the staff member that handled this. I would not suggest booking with a company that can ruin your family vacation in the blink of an eye and act like its no big deal.

Had a great time white water rafting with these guys. Perfect way to enjoy snake river and engage with this gorgeous location. Our raft guide helped us to feel confident throughout the trip and the added personality and humor made this trip all the more enjoyable. Can’t wait to go on a scenic tour next!

All the guides are fantastic! Professional. Definitely trusting! They made me feel safe, and you could definitely knew what they were doing. I would recommend Sands as they are worth the price, friendly and professional guides and have been apart of the community for years.

My family and I went whitewater rafting with Kallie at Sands a week and a half ago and had an absolute blast! She was knowledgeable, a great teacher to my kids (7 and 11 years old), and she was also tons of fun to be around! We loved our trip and would choose Sands again in the future! Highly recommend Sands Whitewater for your time in Jackson. Word on the street is that the snake can be hard, but our guide John navigated it flawlessly. He kept everyone engaged with his genuine personality, marinating real disfigured with our groups, instead of endless corny river guide jokes.This was our first time using Sands as an outfitter, & based upon our experience, we intend to continue to use them. Ive heard rumors of a river guide named Javi who is so good at flippin boats, that he spends more time in the water than he spends digging out snowmobiles in the winter. Our trip was very pleasurable!!!

We booked a white water trip with Sands during our vacation. The employees at Sands are amazing. We had to check in at 730; early for vacation and teenagers, but right away we were greeted with friendly helpful staff. During the rafting adventure our guide was Kallie; she’s amazing! We had an all female paddling crew in our raft and with Kallie it was one of the best experiences so far! Highly highly recommend Sands for your white water trip - and request Kallie if you can!

We went white water rafting and it was something I will never forget on my birthday.They were really nice and they put safety first.It was a great experience and was super fun.Everyone should try this because it’s so fun.And special thanks to our instructor named I think Kaley

We had a great time! Pierce and Travis were our guides on a scenic rafting trip. Absolutely beautiful scenery. We saw several eagles. The guides were entertaining and professional. I would definitely recommend this group for a great family experience.

I booked a trip for july, and 3 days later i got a phone call stating they had to cancel my reservations and i would get a refund within 14 days, After 3 weeks i called and they told me they forgot to file the paper work and i would have to have 5 more days. We shall see if that happens or not,

Very disappointed in this outfit. Just called and canceled our Saturday raft trip on us 1 week before we were set to go. Now cant find another reservation this close to date. Very unprofessional

We loved our experience with Sands!! Ben was our tour guide, he was amazing! I enjoyed his sense of humor while making me and my family feel safe at the same time. I wanted to do the tour over and over again with Ben as our captain! Would definitely recommend. SIDE NOTE: Since everyone in our group arrived on time we left earlier and we were the only boat on the river which was AMAZING. We took our time and had fun!

Sands Whitewater Rafting was an amazing experience for our family of 5. We had Kristin as our bus driver and Ben as our guide. With me being the only one in our group of 9 who had whitewater rafted before, Ben made our three children (5,8 and 10)as well as myself feel extremely safe on the river. He had great knowledge of the river and great jokes to keep everybody having a good time. From the minute we walked into the door to the very end on the bus, the experience was great. We would recommend Sands to any family looking for a fun adventure.

Awesome experience! Really great service. The guides were really friendly and new exactly what they were doing. They had to put up with us ( a group of about 20 youth ages 14-18) on 2 back to back rafting trips and did it extremely well. Really recommend this Rafting Company!

We did the 13 mile scenic trip which included lunch. We had a very enjoyable, peaceful trip and saw lots of eagles, pelicans and ospreys. Our guide, Kyle, was awesome! He is very knowledgeable about everything pertaining to the river, wildlife and Wyoming. Kyle has a great sense of humor and is very fun! Everyone we met at Sands was very nice and personable! I highly recommend them for your rafting adventures!

The 13 mile scenic raft trip of the Snake River was terrific. The guide, Trinity, who steered the raft was clearly experienced. She managed all the questions of our group, (we had a lot) while managing the river. How impressive. I can only highly recommend Sands!

We felt lucky to have picked Sands because of the companys quality and service. The breakfast scenic and white water combo included a beautiful trip down the river which was followed by an excellent yummy breakfast. Our guide Kyle was knowledgable and fun to talk to during the scenic portion. The white water part was super fun!The breakfast combo deal is an awesome way to have a fun trip down the river as well as experience the white water. Would recommend!

Great company! Guides were top notch. Ours made the extra effort to give us a great ride during low water time August. Good trip for first time rafters wanting a medium/low thrill ride. Took off 1 star because it was not made clear that a 3 hour trip was half on the water & half transport time. Because we have white water rafted all over the country, dont know if I would have paid the price for a 90 min. ride.

With 15 in our group we had two boats with Ryan and Lucas as the guides. They were very helpful and funny. Made the hour trip to fast. I think I was the only one who got wet (don’t sit in the front). It was a great trip for our group

This was our fourth white water rafting trip in numerous locations and this has probably been the best. Weve been to Denali in Alaska, Nantahala, NC and Vail, Colorado. The rapids were fun and as advertised. Kyle, our guide, was excellent. Overall amazing family experience at a very reasonable price! This company has been in business for over 50 years and his experience and quality shows.

We went on the hour and a half (actual float time) trip a week ago with our 8 year old son. It was fantastic! Everyone was very nice. We thought we would get cold once splashed but never did. Highly recommend Sands.

Took the family on our first whitewater rafting trip and LOVED it! We booked the scenic ride that follows up with a breakfast, and then finishes with a whitewater rapids ride that was exhilarating. It was cool outside, but Sands had wetsuits and splash gear that kept us warm. The water was very high due to recent snow melts, but the ride was incredibly safe. Our guide was very friendly and made sure we were all safe and had a lot of fun. We even jumped into the freezing river in a calm spot and shared a family experience that will not be soon forgotten. Thanks Sands for a great time!

Great company. Our guide was Hannah, and she was sharp as a tack, gave us a great experience. The water is high this year, but the rapids were awe some and there were no problems. I highly recommend Sands.
