This was an amazing tour. One of the best parts of my time in the Grand Tetons. Brian was absolutely wonderful. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and showed a lot of interest and joy in his job. He seemed to love it just as much as his clients. We saw beautiful views, got some history on the area, and saw a lot of wildlife. We saw grizzlies, Moose, pronghorn, bison, elk, etc. I will definitely do this again when I go back to the Tetons.

We did a full-day tour of the lower loop from Jackson and since we only had 2 days to explore, it was the perfect way to fit in as much of Yellowstone as possible. Phil was our tour guide and was just awesome. He was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and park history. He did an excellent job keeping us on time, getting us to Old Faithful just in time to see it go off. He showed us all the hot spots and gave us a map at the end of the tour for anything we might have missed. He also took great pictures of our group. We were fed surprisingly delicious breakfast and lunch with a coffee break before we started. Plus the cost of the park entrance was included in the ticket, which is unique to a lot of tours around here. We cant wait to return.

Exploring Yellowstone with Phil was an experience I will tell my grandchildren about one day. Ive been a National Park enthusiast my entire life, but Ive never experienced such a magical day as I did on my guided tour through Yellowstone with Yellowstone Day Tours. Not only was Phil great company to be around, he was extremely knowledgeable on the park, the geology, and the history. In the group he guided, out of 100 questions he had a correct answer for 99 of them (we tried our hardest to stump him.) Phil goes above and beyond to give his groups this, positive energy if you will, that only comes from someone who truly loves what they do for a living and its as contagious as it is inspiring.Whether youre a hardcore backcountry fan, or just simply want to see the best features Yellowstone has to offer, I strongly urge you to use Yellowstone Day Tours your first time in Yellowstone. You will get off the shuttle with more knowledge on the park than you can get anywhere else. If you want to just mind your own business and stare out the window thats fine too, Phil is incredible at reading the room and tailoring each guests experience to make the most of their day.If I could give 100 start to Yellowstone Day Tours and Phil, I would.

Phil did a great job of educating us about the history and geology of the area. We were very interested in the way fires are handled, since we are a family of 5 firefighters. Food was delicious too. Phil helped us see in one day what it wouldve taken us a week to see on our own.

Jeff was an Amazing Tour Guide! Showed up right on time. Jeff is personable, funny and knowledgeable. We had a great time touring with him. We got to see Bear #399 and her cubs, which is not a usual sighting this time of year. We saw elk, bison, moose, mountain sheep as well as eagles. Had a great time and would recommend to everyone!

Jeff was an excellent tour guide! He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and made our experience in Yellowstone amazing!! We were a group of 7- my husband, two teenage sons, my husbands parents (in their 70s) and brother, and me. Jeff did a great job of engaging with everyone on a personal level and accommodating everyone on all of our stops. He was a joy to spend the day with and is just one of those really good humans. An absolute pleasure!

I don’t even know where to start but if you are in Jackson this tour is a Must! Our tour guide was Phil and we never wanted for a thing. He was very knowledgeable and could answer any question we threw at him. He knew where to take the best pictures and was always willing to stop for a photo opt. He even took photos and videos for us! I highly recommend!

We had a fantastic day with Brian seeing the lower loop of Yellowstone. His knowledge and care for the area was impressive and he took a good bit of time to explain things thoroughly. We were able to see Bison, pronghorn, a couple of grizzlies bears and so much more that Yellowstone has to offer.Brian was also excellent with my kids, including the talkative 6 year old who may have said “Mr. Brian” 100 times throughout the day.If you want to really maximize your time and the opportunity to see the sights and inhabitants of Yellowstone, look no further than booking a trip with Brian and his team.

The driver/guide Phil was on time and prepared. He filled us in on things and asked what our expectations were. My daughter hoped to see wolves and bears and Phil, knowing that might be next to impossible, explained to her politely that he would try but it wasn’t the correct time of year. Even still, he asked at the entry points of both parks about the bear activity to the park rangers. Phil tried hard to accommodate her but the seasons were not in our favor. He did work hard for us to see other wildlife—everything from pronged sheep, mountain goats, elk, bison herd ( very up close), baby eagle, adult eagle, and small animals like squirrels, chipmunks, and prairie dogs. He took us to some great falls besides Artists Point. The first one we went to in Grand Tetons park was incredible. All the features were breath taking or cool. The paint pots, geysers, hot springs, and steam vents were very cool to learn about. Old Faithful was a bit underwhelming—but not Phil’s fault.Phill did a great job overall and gave us our money’s worth all 12 hour of the private custom tour. Phil was friendly and professional and willing to find the answer out if he didn’t know it.Phil even has is a few pointers for in town where to eat. highly recommend the company and the guide. The company took our reservation online, called the day before to confirm and ask lunch preference. We’d recommend Phil and this company anytime.

Something I most enjoyed during this trip was limiting the amount of driving I actually had to do. It was such a relief to be able to focus on the tour, information, and wild life sightings instead of the road. Plus, who knows better than a local?!Sunset Tour - Brian, our tour guide, was super accommodating and tailored the tour to what his clients were seeking, whether it was to see wildlife or capture a particular image. It was beautiful and the sunset site finale was gorgeous!!Full Day Yellowstone (Lower Loop) Tour & Full Day Grand Tetons Tour - We had close (appropriate distance) encounters with bison, moose, elk and black bear; we also saw eagles, osprey, blue herron, red tail hawks, Swanson’s hawks, white pelican, mule deer, red fox, ground squirrels, marmot, pronghorn and their babies, bison, and a sandhill crane. You guys! The “close encounters” were epic! We watched a moose travel from one hill ridge, descend to the road, cross, pass through willow bushes, and enter a pond where we watched for 30+ min as it snacked on vegetation in the water. So neat! The geysers were incredibly colorful and Brian ensured we saw the best of the best in an efficient manner. He provided great recommendations on where to position yourself at sites in order to get the best photos and hit the big ticket items. The meals were tasty and consisted of a variety of options. Breakfast (for me) was a bacon/egg croissant from a local vendor (stimulate the local economy) and apple turnover pastry but there were other options too. Lunch was a turkey sandwich, chips, apple, and cookies but, again, there was a wide variety to choose from.We also enjoyed the company of the other tourists who were respectful and just as excited; this is shared as an indication of the type of clientele this organization attracts.Overall, A+ experience and highly recommend Yellowstone Day Tours!

Our family (including our 7 year old) did the full-day Yellowstone tour and it was amazing! We decided to do the tour so that my husband and I could both enjoy Yellowstone without having to drive and we are so glad we did. Our guide, Jackie, was fantastic and so full of knowledge. She was great with our son - giving him special things to look for, telling him jokes, etc. Jackie really knew all of the ins and outs of hitting the top places in Yellowstone. We only had one full day to explore Yellowstone and hiring Yellowstone Day Tours really helped us make the most of it. Highly recommend!

This tour company exceeded my expectations as I booked a one day tour into Yellowstone on the first day of opening of Yellowstone for Friday 21 April 2017 for two of us. I booked 4 days in advance by phone. Being two retiree Australians on a 5 week tour of US I was unsure of how only a listed company would service our need to see as much as possible. George turned up on time 6.30 am in a big Chevy 4 x 4 at our unit in Aspens, only the 2 of as it turned out, what great day snow over Teton pass light snow in at Old Faithful at 12 noon, we saw every animal and bird in the park including a mother bear and cub. The ability to time our stops to see geysers, lunch on the run and the spotting scope to use and photograph onto our 2 mini iPads was a bonus. Nothing was missed, nothing any trouble, George offered options for us to choose and his wealth of knowledge was much appreciated. This was a ***** 5 star tour thank you especially George. Anyone wanting to see Yellowstone from Jackson anytime of the year we can recommend this operator you wont be disappointed- we had a 15 hr day tailored to meet our goals.Malcolm and Bernadette SandersBENALLA Victoria, Australia 22 April 2017
