Recently bought a set of tires at Belle tire and Howell Michigan the assistant manager Joe Fick was outstanding to work with he showed me a few different options made his recommendation for what type of tire would be best suited for my truck and had me scheduled in no time. Great place for tires and oil changes. Anything technical is questionable. $300 to replace a thermostat that I had already done in 20 minutes. Turns out it was a bad water pump all along.They wouldnt replace a wiper motor saying it was so.ething in the Control Module that a dealer would have to do.Cmon man.

Worked with Dave at Belle Tire, who helped me out with an issue with a wheel stud on the right rear wheel of my car.I had the tires rotated on the vehicle the day before at another tire center who identified wheel stud issue and told me they couldnt reinstall the lug nut on the stud for fear of damaging it by cross-threading the nut if they tried to forced it. Instead, they referred me to a mechanic for repair as they did not perform that type of work. They also told me I needed to have the brake pads on the front tires replaced but did not perform brake work either.Consequently, I contacted the dealership where I bought the car in order to address both issues. However they were unable to get me in for the repair that day--or even look at the more pressing wheel stud issue to determine if it was a minor repair or not (which it turned out to be...read on). So afterwards, I went to Belle Tire--they got me in immediately, reamed the wheel stud after determining the issue involved only a very small bur or nick on the stud thread. They also told me my front brakes were fine; had 40% life yet on the pads. They did all this in no time at all and didnt charge me one cent!They also inspected my rear shocks and gave me a great deal on a needed replacement for both with no high pressure sales pitch either. So, I happily obliged them to perform the work as they had already saved me money on an unnecessary brake job and took care of the original lug nut issue at no charge. They quickly replaced the shock absorbers and I was on my way in no time.I will definitely be back to Belle Tire.

I took my navigator to the one in Brighton about a year or so ago and they botched almost everything they touched I swore I wouldnt go to a Belle tire again. Did a bunch of work to my Town car and needed an alignment bad and do to covid-19 everyone else was two weeks or more with appointment only. So sorry to say but it was my last option. VERY HAPPY I DID!!! Called the store and they said come up. Everything was clean the employees were polite and knowledgeable. Great prices. Lightning fast! This trip won my business back. Thanks guys

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I am a belle tire customer and this location by far is one of the best I been too! I usually follow Chuck to whatever location he goes but hes at a location that I dont care to much for, so I was helped by Kurt who went above and beyond to deliver the best customer service experienc, i appreciate it to the max! I am beyond satisfied by the person who fixed my car as to the great work and fast delivery! If you had a bad experience here then you must of had a bad day! Everyone here is very friendly! Will be going back for future repairs and services. Wish more places had the customer service and hard work like them.Thank you kurt!

I normally have a great experience at this location, but today, not so much! It wasn’t the service on my vehicle, but instead it was how Chuck treated Mike, who appeared to be fairly new to the job. Chuck railed on Mike on his phone skills dealing with customers in front of me and two other customers. It was embarrassing. Talk about making an employee feel small! A supervisor should never do this in front of customers but should instead speak to the employee behind closed doors. Chuck also said a lot of “you did this” and “you did that” instead of saying things like, “how about if you try this next time” or, “in my experience, this seems to work”. He should have spoken to him like he had some value, even though he is new. As I’m writing this, he is railing on Mike AGAIN about something else! What a jerk! I think I will go to a different location for my next rotation.

This is the best place of business I have ever seen! Not only do they ALWAYS take care of my parents when they bring their car here, I just witnessed first hand that the guys behind the desk totally took care of a Mother in need, she came in with a flat tire and made sure she was able to drive home safely.I highly recommend Belle Tire of Howell to anyone who wants to be treated fairly. Ordered a tire wendsday was told it would be in around noon. Called at 11:45am nothing thats ok ita early. Called back at 2 pm still no tire. They finally call me at 3:45 pm no tire delivered.. get told it will be on the am truck. So I drop my rim and old tire before work. Get a call its done you can come get it. I show up 45 min after they call. Tires still not changed. Would not recommend

These folks are very customer service friendly. We’ve been customers for many, many years and have purchased several sets of regular and snow tires for several vehicles.The only poor experience we’ve had is related to the tire pressure monitoring sensors we bought with the snow tires on both of our Chevrolets. They’re junk. They’ve all failed and they’re too expensive to replace knowing they’ll probably fail again.

Bought new wheels online for my 2012 Mustang. Purchased the tires at Belle Tire and they did a fantastic job installing the wheels and tires. They also price matched the tires and saved me over $100.Thanks to Brian and the crew at Howell Belle Tire for taking good care of my “baby” lol.

Glass chips are nothing new with Michigan roads, but the guys at Belle Tire do more than just tires and this last visit is a perfect example of why we keep coming back. After speaking with Joe he said they would take care of our 2015 Jeep and actually checked all of the nicks and chips, repairing all that were needed attention and giving us an update when finished. We will be back again with more cars.

The customer service was amazing. They got me in and out. My identity was stolen the morning of my appointment and still got me in and worked with my circumstances.

This location has gone above and beyond for us. We wanted tires that werent in stock and they ordered them for us. But, the day they were supposed to be on their delivery truck, they werent. I was disappointed because it wasnt easy to drop my vehicle off in the morning before work and we were leaving for vacation the next day and it was my last day in Brighton as I was starting a new job in Okemos. So, I let Brian know all of that and told him my husband would call and figure something out. I understood... I was just disappointed.In the meantime, Brian sent someone to the distributor and picked up my tires! They had the tires on and my car was ready for pick up at 3pm. I was relieved the new tires were on since our vacation was in the UP and the roads were treacherous all weekend.Thanks for the awesome customer service. It a great team over there and their efforts were appreciated!

Not often does customer service and integrity stand out these days, but this Belle Tire location and staff are great. Specifically, Joe Fick has been excellent over the years and I send my family and friends to him by name for all car issues. If they can handle the issue he is fair and reasonable but honest if you should go to a specialist. I will continue to bring my business to this location for personal and business vehicles.

Even though in the middle of remodeling, the service was efficient and employees were very welcoming and completed my job. Without a long wait.

Joe from belle tire is AMAZING!!! I got a flat tire and when i called Joe answered and told me that they usually stop taking tire calls around this time, but he let me come in anyways and fixed my tire FOR FREE! Literally the best customer service i have ever received. I was so excited because i was expecting to pay $126 for a new tire but they ended up fixing it and fast too! They only had my car for about 45 minutes. Absolutely amazing

My husband made an appointment on Monday online for 6pm forFriday because thats what their website offers. They call 3 hours before the appointment to inform us that they close at 6:00 pm.. why they waited until the day of the appointment to call us is beyond me. My husband had to come and pick up my car from my job so we could bring it in early. Then when I go to pick up my car half of the guys there have their masks under their nose, which at this point in the pandemic is quite shameful. Then I get into my car and realize that a little diffuser I had hanging off of my phone mount that in my car is flipped upside down on my dash and spelled scented oil all over my dash. For sure never coming back to this place again. Try discount tire instead!

Service was decent with normal speed.2 stars because the manager spent the entire time I was there (~an hour and a half) screaming at the employees and in general being very rude and angry at them. There was other customers in the lobby and it was incredibly unprofessional to listen to the manager berate the entire staff.When it was my turn to get my keys and leave the manager was short and rude to me and wouldnt elaborate on any part of the service done.

My boyfriend and I both had 4 new tires put on our vehicles within 2 weeks of each other last month (thus spending over $1800 total). Although we felt that the prices were good and the service time was great, we had problems with both jobs.After getting home with his truck, we realized that one of his nice chrome valve stem covers was missing and one was barely screwed on so was about to fall off! On my car, one of the balancing weights fell off when we pulled into our driveway after picking it up! We immediately called them and were told that if we could figure out which wheel the weight came off of, that we could bring the car back to have it put back on! Thats ridiculous as there is no way for me to determine which wheel it dropped from - we shouldve been asked to bring the car back for a full re-balance, and we should be given at least one chrome valve stem cover to replace the missing one.Update: We were contacted by customer service who arranged for us to pick up a new chrome valve stem cover to replace the missing one. They will also rebalance my tires.

Every time I or my kids take cars in with leaky tires they always take care of us quickly and never charge. You can’t beat that fir service.

Great efficient service with a quick turnaround. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They are also good at being upfront with the expected wait time. Raymond checked me out and was very friendly. He also tells great jokes, I would come back to the shop just for the jokes even without a car problem.

I came to Belle tire for a second opinion on a quote I received from the dealership. Without them knowing what the recommended work was, they quoted me half the work at half the price. I felt like they were fully honest and they didnt not try to upsell me anything. They were very thorough in their explanation of the recommended work and did not pressure me into any decisions. I have no experience with other Belle Tire shops but I highly recommend the one on Grand River in Howell.

I bought all new michelins in fall of 2017. I needed a plug from a screw and a rotation. I called, they said 2-3 hours and said no charge since i bought tires from them. Six hours later! They said they would not fix because there was not enough tread!! But they could finance new ones! I will NEVER. go there again!!!

I will never go back to this place. I went to get a front end alignment. After having major front end work done. I was told after 20 min that they couldnt do it. Said I needed over 500.00 worth of work done before hand. I left and went somewhere else and was told that the work they said needed to be done wasnt true. I have since been told by a couple friends they went through the same thing. The man at the desk told me my son who was the mechanic that worked on my car didnt know what he was talking about. That the list of parts that needed to be replaced was what was wrong for sure. Then had the nerve to ask if I wanted to make the appointment for new tires I wanted. No thank you. Shame on you for trying to rip me off!

I had horrible experience with the Hartland, MI location. They laughed at me and told me I could wait until the next day.I contacted the Howell location with 25 minutes until they closed. They fixed my tire and had me on my way in ten minutes free of charge.Highly recommend this location for any tire or service needs!!

I would have loved to give 5 stars due to me being very happy with my new tires, but I am only giving 2 due to the fact that one of my after market hubcaps was gone when I looked at my car. So either it wasnt put on at all or it was put on poorly and fell off. I called the Howell location and was told I would receive a call back and never did. Poor business skills in that regard. Very unhappy.Edit... I spoke to the manager Brian and they are replacing them. Thank you Brian

Made an appointment with them on line for new tires. Arrived to a very busy lobby but still greeted by friendly staff. Lobby was clean and waiting room was fully stocked with plenty chairs, tv, coffee station and vending machine for those who were waiting. Staff informed us it would be about an hour and a half for my car to be finished. Weather was nice and since the location was to next to speedway gas station and local restaurants we decided to walked to McDonald’s for breakfast. By the time we were finished eating we received a call from belle tire saying our car was almost done but needed an alignment (which I kind of knew but was wasn’t really sure) so agreed to the additional service. By the time we walked back, it was about another 15 min wait and car was done! Drives great and they just gained a new loyal customer! Thanks guys!! Hands down awesome place to go!

I had a hole in my tire and brought it in today and they patched it up for free and I was in and out of there in just over an hour. They were fast and friendly and didnt try to upsell me on anything. Overall it was a great experience and Ill definitely go there again if I have any other issues with my tires.

I tried Belle Tire for the first time yesterday and I wasnt disappointed. Patrick answered all my questions quickly and accurately and made sure my vehicle was completed on time. Just bought a used car Saturday 12-28-19. Got it on the highway; bad wobble @ 70MPH. Got to Belle Tire an hour before closing. They stayed late to make sure it was right before we left. Overall excellent service. Thanks, guys.

Went in to fix two leaky tires, they came back with a $1500 estimate for unnecessary repairs (shocks and struts that are fine along with a wheel bearing replacement, which usually needs immediate attention). Figured I could get the wheel bearing fixed at another auto place for cheaper, I scheduled an appointment with another place. Not only did they quote it for hundreds less, they said I didn’t even need it.So I took a day off of work and spent money to have my car looked at by another mechanic when it didn’t even need the repairs suggested by Belle Tire. Even though they are right by my house, I’m never going here again for my tire needs.

I visited Belle Tire this morning a little after 8:00am because I had a leak in my tire, that I just bought a month ago. I read the reviews expecting the worst. I would say their Customer Service skills were marginal at best. They told me we will look at your Truck in an hour and 30 minutes. I call after that time and they had not looked at it yet. Call back in 30 minutes. I called back 45 minutes later and they said they just got to it, we will call you back. At 11:00 ish they called me back and said you are all set that will be 20 bucks. I was expecting them to say the tire had to be replaced. What a pleasant surprise. All in all, I had to wait a bit longer then I wanted but they got the job done and I would recommend them. They might be a bit grumpy but what do you expect, its a Tire Repair shop. get a grip. Good job fellas.

Mind you I live 2 hours from this bell tire. Sitting at bell tire now, dont have any plans the day you want to get a tire replaced. Had brought the tire 4 days prior to have it replaced, dropped it off and everything went fine until the next day when I got home from work and found that it was flat, I work a regular job so I never made it back to bell tire until that Saturday and I walked in with the tire to have there mistake fixed and they told me it was up to a 4-1/2 hour wait. Now 3 hours later with perishable foods in the car Im still waiting for it. A lot of workers walking and eating snacks and haveing cigarette breaks outside the work bay. I just feel for a costumer that is returning because they didnt clean the bead before installing this is a pretty long wait for a returning customer. I will not be using bell tire again. I will use either discount tire (located 1/4 mile from bell tire) or a local shop. They dont even have seats for waiting. Use at your own risk and dont have plans. If they were more timely with there priorities they would get more stars.

Quick and friendly. Fixed my flat tire, changed out the spare and put it back in the trunk. No charge because I bought my tires from them in November. Now thats what I call great service.

Really good service. Although it was a bit pricey, they did a great job on my car. I couldnt be happier with the results.

Technicians were courteous and knowledgeable. I drove in with an emergency type symptom with my vehicle and they pulled my car in right away and diagnosed the locked up caliper. I was impressed with the speed of the work up. Although I made the decision to drive my vehicle home, they did warn me of the dangers without being overly pushy. I appreciate the honesty and integrity. If ever I have friends/family that need a recommendation in the Howell area, this is the place for me.

I got a chip in my windshield fixed for only $44,95! The staff were very friendly and the service was quicker than expected. I will definitely be returning in the future, and I would absolutely recommend this store if you need glass repair done.

Broke my car door and all they would do is say there was rust and I needed new door hinges

These guys always take care of me and the free rotation/inspection for life is always nice. I know they are just doing their job but I still dont like printing out a list of everything that is wrong with the car and how much it will cost to fix. I am sure they make a lot of money by doing this but for people who work on their own cars its annoying.Still, its a great place to get some tires put on or a set of brake pads or something.

My 17year old son took his car there to see what was wrong and get it fixed, after they looked at it, it ranged from 1000-1870 depending on if they could take something off in one piece. They said the front tie rod and rear bearings needed to be replaced and if the abs sensor got messed up while taking apart the bearings then those would have to be replaced and that’s where the price increased to 1870. Went for a second opinion to an auto shop my sons dad uses and just the bearings need to be replaced and an alignment. All for 575 not even 1000! Always go to belle tire so disappointed they tried to scam my kid, especially when he has to pay for it out of his own pocket. Belle Tire Howell you are a disappointment!

Go see Mike, this was my first time getting tires here and all I can say is wow. The customer service factor was off the charts, Mike went above and beyond my expectations, including carrying tires out to my car so I could visually see how they would look, he spent a good amount of time with me helping me pick out rims, answered all my questions without hesitation, he was very intelligent and courteous. You dont get this kind of service these days, I will defiantly be a repeat customer.Dont forget to ask for Mike.

Front desk staff was extremely rude, condescending, and unprofessional in every sense of the word to me and my mother every single time we’ve attempted to arrange getting any work done on my car. The only reason I’m giving them two stars and not one is because they did a good job fixing my car.I can’t reply to my post so I will edit this to say:That is greatly appreciated. The rest of the staff were quick and got everything done well. We got in and out in a timely fashion with good tires. Just the one staff member who was unnecessarily rude. I could understand if you were busy but there were very few other vehicles in the parking lot or the back.
