I recently had my receiver and speakers installed from a small mom & pop place in East End that messed everything up. So bad it eventually stopped working all together. I happened to be in the area and the guys were able to make time for me today (Saturday). One of the techs, Juan, kept me up to do on necessary repairs and things that he recommended. Went here because of online reviews I had read and ended up being a good choice....Had used another shop a couple years prior and the fit / finish of that install was less than desirable.....shop didnt hook up USB or steering wheel controls as requested so I had been listening to the radio only since. All these issues were resolved by Car Audio Zone at a fair price . Owner and staff are knowledgeable , professional , communicate well and have pride in their work. I had a Viper Alarm installed here and I also had tint installed. This establishment is a Viper preferred dealer which led me to them. I called in and spoke with the owner. He was very nice and informative. Juan handled all my questions at the shop and the whole installation process went smooth. Viper system works great and the tint is perfect. I am coming back soon for more car improvements!

Bought some speakers, a head unit, and an amp from Crutchfield and wanted to get an installation done. Ran into this store near me who happened to have a ton of good reviews. And Id have to say those reviews are justified- the cost of installation for all of those parts along with full sound dampening on all 4 doors was about 2/3 the price I was expecting it to be. Turnaround time was also pretty quick, I dropped off my car at 9:00 and picked it up at 2:00 on the same day, with only one person working.Roman(?) and the owner Shawn/Sean/Shaun (I forgot to ask the spelling, sorry!) also both took the time to answer my questions and work with me to see what my goals were for the vehicle.Overall, definitely somewhere Id recommend to go to for audio installation. Ill be coming here again if I ever need any more additions to my setup in the future.

I was hesitant to let anyone work on my brand new mustang, but I decided to check this place out since it was close to home and seemed to have good reviews. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the installation of my sound processor, 5-channel amp, and custom made box for a 10” sub. The owner, Shawn, is extremely friendly and was very good at communicating with me. After they did such a good job on my sound system, I felt comfortable later on having them install a Viper alarm with remote start that has been fantastic! And best of all, their prices are about the best in town for a car audio business with such good reviews. I called about 15 alarm installation companies and Car Audio Zone’s price was by far the best (possibly because I was a returning customer). I have and will continue to recommend this establishment to my friends and family.

What a great experience. The price was right and the installation was superb. I came out of there with a sound system that pecked my expectations. This is the second time I had a sound system put in with Car Audio, the first system went into a 2015 Ford F-150 which is now my sons vehicle and my new 2017 Ford F-150 is blowing out incredible highs and low, clean and crisp. OUTSTANDING work by Shawn and his guys! I took a 1987 Porsche to them to change out the stereo and I was truly blown away by the quality of work done here. I do plan on going back for some more electronics work there. While there, I saw one of the guys doing tint work on a Porsche 911S. As a Porsche owner myself, I know that you only take a Porsche to a place when you trust the work!! No doubt, top quality work! Highly recommend it.

Juan put in my sub after I had tried to do it with the wrong wires (find that out later) he was very informative on what he was doing and walked me through it as well. I very much enjoy this place and think it’s a great establishment with amazing employees whom are very knowledgeable of their work.

Customer for life!Shawn and his team (Juan and Ramon) installed a flip down movie player in my car this morning. I had been in contact with Shawn in regards to the best option for aftermarket entertainment. Today, I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time and was out in two hours, after being quoted the max 3.5 hours. Shawn was out but talked to me on the phone about the pros/cons and warranty. Ramon greeted me and was very helpful and completed the install of the product. Sure, you *might* be able to purchase your equipment for less on a big box website, but, it was worth it to me to be able to see my options in house. Ramon unboxed each items for me so I could see the difference. The work was done quickly, too quickly. The speakers weren’t recalibrated to work properly with the new radio so now it sounds like trash if you try to play the music too loud. If anyone wants work do I’d recommend car toys. They do stuff right.

Reasonable prices and very, very personal service. About a year after the alarm installation, I started having issues with my door locks. I was worried that the car alarm was causing it, so I brought the vehicle back to Shawn.When it turned out that the alarm was in the clear, they even helped me shuttle the vehicle to the dealership to work on what ended up being the real problem -- several of the Honda-installed, original door actuators/motors. I offered to pay some kind of fee for what was essentially a vehicle delivery service, but he insisted on doing it solely in the name of good customer service.Dont let the lack of polish in the storefront operation fool you. There may be a few scuffs on the walls, and he scrawls in a simple notebook to do the initial intake on jobs. But his business model seems to be an old-fashioned one, where he invests in customer service, quality products, and keeping prices down, rather than on creating a posh lobby area to dazzle the eyes.Would recommend.

They did an awesome job installing a DVD entertainment system into my brand new Ford Expedition. I had a factory DVD system installed by Ford because I trusted that they would do it right. The system was horrible!! I made them take it out immediately. Luckily I found this Car Audio place off the Katy Freeway. They helped me find exactly what I needed. The manager knew all the features that came with the DVD system and just how it would look and operate when installed into my new car (and it was half the price). He took it out of the box and showed me exactly where it would go. Im grateful that I found a place as good as this to install something into a new car. These guys did a great job on my daughter’s car. Wanted to get her Bluetooth connectivity in her “new” used car. I looked at Best Buy first, they were about $150 higher than he ended up being for the same setup and couldn’t install until the following week. Went to another custom car stereo place that quoted me about $300 more than him for same setup installed! I took the car into him at noon (no appt) and he had it installed by about 3. Great job! I wanted to avoid buying a new car and planned an upgrade for my 2009 Toyota, came in this Saturday and within a day they were able to add all the new upgrades including Navigation, Alarm, new speakers, Bluetooth & window tint. I showed up with an issue on an installation I had started at home by myself. I had broken parts, old parts, and nothing fit together correctly. The technician dropped what he was doing, brought his tools to the parking lot, and fixed it within 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this company for any car audio work. I will be going back in the future.

Shawn and his team at Car Audio Zone are fantastic. I had access to great prices on speakers, amp, and a subwoofer from other sources. Shawn agreed to install them for a very reasonable price. When he looked into it, he explained that because I was keeping the factory head unit, I needed a channel converter, and gave me several options, ranging from very inexpensive to expensive. I weighed my options and chose the one best for me.The system was installed on a Saturday, although he told me it might need to be kept over until Monday. I told him and his excellent installers, I really wanted it that day, so they stayed past 7pm and completed it for me.Shawn had to leave the store for an hour or so, so he let me camp out on the sofa in his office instead of being out front where people could see me and bang on the door. Thats service you dont expect.The work was flawless and done professionally. The system sounds amazing and I couldnt be more pleased. Shawn was honest and kept me informed all of the way. His installers are pleasant and professional. I keep thinking of the huge grin on the face of the main installer when he had me sit in the car for the first time after the install.The car audio business, like many others, can be shady at times.
