I had the absolute best experience with the professionals at this Firestone! It was my first time at this location but it wont be the last.The lady at the front desk was AMAZING! SHE explained everything to me about my tire and asked if Id like to see it. I felt great to have someone take the time to give excellent service and customer service. The young man who drove my car around placed plastic and paper on my seat and floor. He apologized for leaving it in the car but I thanked him for being careful enough to protect my vehicle. I was leaving the next morning for a trip out of town and they wanted to make sure I was safe.I will be a customer of theirs for a long time.

Wish I could give 0 stars! Such an awful experience! After going to this location 3 times in 1 week my car never got fixed!! I was given the runaround by 3 different people. I was treated VERY RUDELY by Service Manager Dwayne. I had an appointment for services but once I arrived I found our that bo parts had been ordered for my car. After the mechanic looked at my car he told the service manager right in front of me I can do it but I wont e able to get to any other cars until later. Remember I booked my appointment days before! So then they decide to quote me a higher price and said I needed additional repairs in an effort to discourage me from obtaining services that day. When I said I STILL wanted my car fixed, the mechanic than said oh wait, we dont have all the equipment required to do it today. I finally left after the service manager yelled at me to be patient. I called the listed customer service number to file a complaint. I was told that Area Manager, Tina H. would contact me. It has been over a month. I havent received not one call, not one email. Nothing. Obviously Firestone cares NOTHING about customer service. I will continue to warn people about this company and employees. I will continue to discouraged friends and family from using this establishment.

The mister at the desk, Dewayne, is great. Hes got great customer service. Hes polite and apologetic over the wait times. But.. I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation. It took 3 hours. I took my company vehicle in for work and it took 2 and half days for tires and oil change. My brother took his truck in for a tune up and that took 4 days. Its quite pricey too for any service it seems.. I will come back for anything other than oil change because I get serviced faster at other places, but my company uses this company frequently so they tell me to choose firestone. I wanted to try their sister store on Mayfair st, but its always packed out.

First off all the employees here were nice and I had no issues with them. I gave the employee my keys at 1:50 for a 2:00 appointment. There were 3 other customers in the waiting area. My car was pulled into the shop at 2:14. Around 2:44 the supervisor Jeff came and asked me where my wheel hub lock was located. I am not sure why they didn’t ask sooner, maybe they spent 30 minutes looking for it…. My car was lifted up for the tire change at 2:49. I guess scheduling an appointment did not really help me out. My car did not come out of the bay until 3:42. I did not leave until a little after 4:00. I was annoyed that it took so long for this service. There might have been several factors as to why it took so long, but I was not told. The next time I need tires I will plan on going somewhere else.

Great service team. I got an oil change that was fast service. I have a squeak in my brakes. They inspected them and found them to be okay. They said the squeaking would go away. They didnt try to sell me brakes that I didnt need. Thats Integrity!

Waited an hour and my truck never moved. Just needed tires rotated and oil change. When I asked how much longer he replied with he didnt know because he was short employees. I can understand that but please let me know. I called this morning for the appointment.

Bad and slow service. Took 2 hours to get tires rotated, after first hour they tried to tell me I needed two new tires on a pair that only have 20k miles on them.. please just pay more and go somewhere with quality.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! My brother went here to get struts changed on one tire that was giving him issues. He asked that they give him a price before doing any work. They DID NOT call him and changed the struts on all four tires and extra things he didn’t asked for. And charged him $500 something dollars. The crazy part is the problem still wasn’t fixed and when he called back they told him it would be an extra $500 dollars for something else. Go anywhere else

I went to the other location off Hwy 98.I had a nail in my tire and I was 45 minutes from home and all the woman at the front desk said all they could leave it or she could put air in it. There was 10 people and they closed at 5. I left and called the Hardy location which is on the other side of town and they said they would work me in. Very welcoming group of guys. I will be doing my business with them.

Ordered a new battery online and they had it ready and taken care of. The only issue and its so slight I wasnt too concerned but my husband was, I left the receipt inside and they didnt bother letting me or trying to catch me. With a battery having a core charge, its important to have it. I realized Id forgotten it and went back inside where the guy pointed it out to me.

I only rated one star because a star rating was required to write the review.The initial contact I made to this location was exceptional. The assistant manager was very professional and his customer service skills were outstanding. However, some guy named Adrian (possibly the store manager as he was the only one in the shop who did not have visual signs of shop work), got involved in my vehicle concern and things rapidly went downhill from there.He was very unprofessional. He does not have good active listening skills and thinks his side of the narrative is the only side. His phone etiquette lacks and is not customer service friendly. When I returned to the shop to pick-up my vehicle, he had me wait while he finished doing what he was doing on his cell phone.The customer service department called him on my behalf. They said he was very rude to them as well and did not listen to what they were trying to say.I think the assistant manager is a better manager fit for business and the overall store as his communication skills with myself (and other customers I witnessed him deal with) was stellar. It would be to this location’s advantage to offer Adrian some type of additional training or just allow the Assistant Manager to deal with the customers. I will not return to this location for any of my vehicle needs with the kind of service, or lack there of, that I received today. Unfortunately, one rotten apple can spoil the whole bunch.

My appointment was at 1:00, hour later my car has not been touched. I have a medical condition and can not wear a mask, but employee will not let me sit in lobby without mask. These mask are not mandatory and I have trouble breathing with something covering my mouth. This is the worse service I have ever experienced.

We took my boyfriends car this morning to get an alignment. We arrive he parks the car get out take the keys in tell them he wants an alignment. We get back home that afternoon they call and tell us they did the alignment but they have a problem, they couldn’t get the car into park but got his key out. He goes down there and his gear shift is broken and oil is coming from it. Now they telling him the car was like that when he bought it that morning. They telling him he’s responsible as if he did the alignment himself and broke the gear shift. A bunch of bs and we had just gotten the car from the shop the previous day he tried to speak with management and they still tried to put the blame on him and refuses to pay for it.

First time to this location. I live out of state and had two nails in my tire about 1/8 of an inch apart. Thus I needed to replace this tire. They found my record in their computer and had my same tire in stock. I was in and out quickly even though they had people with appointments. (I was a walk in.) I have always liked Firestone. They seem honest and try very hard to please. They will have my business in the future.

Not customer centric. Representatives attitude is callous when presented with customers urgent needs. Takes close to 3 hours to complete work that should be done in less than 45 minutes. Try to make U spend money on unnecessary parts or repairs. Will definitely avoid this establishment if any future needs arise.

Update: when I took my car in for a new tire the Tire Pressure Monitor for that tire worked perfectly. On the way home an error message came up. I didn’t worry because i figured it needed resetting. Took it back today and they reset it. Drove 10 miles error message again. Took it back. They supposedly replaced a sensor. Drove 10 miles error message AGAIN!! Now none of the monitors work. Not taking it back. They do not know what they are doing. Going to contact corporate headquarters.This has nothing to do with the service but the waiting experience. When I arrived a movie was on the television that was loud and filled with profanity. After about 45 minutes the clerk changed it to politically charged show (The View). I got up an walked to the other side of the room to keep from hearing it. Maybe they need to stick to shows like HGTV or something that isn’t controversial or isn’t using profanity.

Ive purchased 4 sets of tires over the years for different vehicles and every time received excellent service with reasonable pricing and quick turnaround times. The staff here is polite and helpful and if you need to kill time waiting on service, The Thirsty Hippo and the public library are just around the corner. Highly recommend!

I know we dont live in a perfect world. But my philosophy is when a customer makes a appointment to have the car service! I! as the customer expects that every thing will get done that is requested ! I am sorry! I dont believe in when you dont have the man power to get all the work done is a excuse. The facility should have a service manager to step in, and get what cant get done get done. I cant believe that there was no one there to change serpentine belt on my vehicle. I am sorry but that is just not exceptable in my world. My work ethics is to get it done no matter what. Now I have to make another appointment! Take more time out of my day. To get something so simple to change. I know one will say do it yourself! Unfortunately I was able to perform this kind of work before I was disable. Now I have go to business that they say this is not a perfect world! I dont want to hear that at anytime. We lost the think out of the box, or get it done Attitude. I am X Marine! we get the job done no matter what! Anyway I guess it is time to move on to another service center. Update: I changed my review from 1 star to 3 after I spoke with Kevin when I picked up my car today about everything. He said that he would address the missed opportunities to ensure that the customer was aware of closing time and an employee being in the store but not allowing a customer to pay.——————————————————————————Initial review:If it is within one hour of closing, all customers whose services will be complete before closing should be called and informed/reminded of your closing time. We are new to the area, and this was my first time visiting this location. When I dropped off my vehicle, no one mentioned the closing time. At 5:34 pm, I received a call that my car was read for pick up. I WAS NOT informed that I had to pay and pick up before 6pm. Even if I was informed for the first time at 5:34pm, I had to be in the immediate area for me to arrive within 26 minutes. I arrived around 615pm to a dark store with the empty cashier drawer on the counter. The only employee there told me that I COULD NOT pay or pick up my vehicle until TOMORROW! I have to be at work at 7am which is your opening time.

The Lady at the front desk is extremely rude and they will try to talk you into extra work.I went up several times to have a problem diagnosed, and each time they recommended hundereds of dollars worth of work. Turns out, it was a blistered tire and loose tie rods, something that take minimal effort to diagnose. They recommended that I get CV joints, Tie Rods, Wheel Bearings, and Control arms among other things. In the end, my issue was fixed with tie rods and new tires after I went to different Firestone to have it accurately diagnosed.They dont care about you, and they dont have your back. This location is Black-Listed

Fist came to Firestone to get a car checked out that had been in a wreck and had been smoking a little on one side of the hood. They checked it out for me at a very reasonable rate.They could not repair it until some body work was done. They reccomened a body shop and a local towing company at my request. Was very pleased with both reccomendations.Brought the vehicle back to Firestone after body work for front brake pads and front rotors.Competitive pricing done in a very timely manner.Very pleased with the whole outcome.Firestone was a huge help! Would recommend to anyone!

Terrible. I pulled into this Firestone following the instructions of my hometown Firestone in Biloxi, who had just completed an alternator/ battery change for me the day prior. An unexpected code came up on my car while en route to Jackson. The Hattiesburg Firestone had no interest in helping me, nor did they run a single diagnostic test as they promised the other shop they would. They tightened one bolt on my battery and sent me on my way. What happened next was a total shutdown of my car, and I ended up at Phillips Car Center, where I had the ultimate in customer service. Avoid this Firestone like the plague.

I had a new alternator put in last fall and had been dealing with a host of acceptable noises following the work. Im now sitting in a different shop having the alternator put back in where it came unbolted due to lack of proper tightening.On top of the improperly tensioned alternator, I was charged well above market price for a battery and belts that were replaced after I agreed to the initial estimate, added without a phone call, and I was not informed of until presented with the final bill.Thats not how you get return service.

Just got off the phone with the manager name David he just dont understand how I could got scam at his shop. His mechanic did a oil change on my truck, They check the battery and it read bad battery. I took the battery back to the place where i bought it from they check it and it said battery good. There i go knowing firestone told me battery was bad so I took the battery back to firestone for David to check it and now they say battery is good smh, What if I would went ahead and bought a battery Saturday for my truck I would got scam from this company. Pros: Friendly and professional staff. Greets everyone genuinely when you enter.My Personal ExperienceDay 1 (Tuesday): Took my car in because of my vehicle shaking during idling and difficulty accelerating (Check engine light was on during taking my car in). The diagnostic tech reported a list of (4) problems that found (spark plugs/wires, fuel injection cleaning, car distributor, and oxygen sensor) estimated to be around $1,100 to repair. Didn’t have the money to fix everything. I asked what repairs were crucial and the gentleman suggest having the spark plugs/wires and the distributor repaired, totaling ~$600. Picked it up ~4 hours later (around 1 PM) and the check engine was now off, but the original problem of shaking while idling was still there. The tech accredited that to me not having O2 sensor repaired. He said it might be a slight nuisance until it’s fixed, but the car should not shut off on me. It shut off twice that same afternoon; both times while in traffic.Day 2 (Wednesday): Brought the car to this same Firestone location, told the sales rep everything that happened. Was told the diagnostic tech would not be back in until Thursday, but they would take a look at it. They adjusted the throttle body and cleaned my fuel injection. Firestone asked me to bring it back the next day when the diagnostic tech would be back in. That same day, I took my vehicle to another shop for a 2nd opinion. If you can see the videos attached to this review, you’ll see that the 2nd mechanic stop can put their hand on the distributor and physically move the part around. The 2nd shop explained that the distributor’s bolts had been stripped on installation.Day 3 (Thursday): Went back to Firestone and the diagnostic tech changed the bolt and physically secured the distributor properly.Having to pay separate transportation to and from the shop for each visit, I lost money and a considerable amount of work hours. I would not recommend this location, after my personal 3-day experience with Firestone.

Attempted twice recently to get an oil change on the same vehicle. Both times the staff mislead me about the wait time so it did not occur either time. Though their misleading and, in the end, incorrect information cost me hours of precious time, the staff offered no apologies or explanation and acted like the really didnt care whether I got my oil changed there or not. It didnt used to be this way there.
