Even though its a trek to get there, I still always use Planet for servicing etc. -- they sorted me out many times even without having originally bought from them. Ive never had a problem, staff are super courteous, service is fast and things are always done as agreed. They also have a bunch of friendly dogs working in the showroom, what more can you ask for?

My wife and I purchased two used cars from Planet Subaru within six months. We are full of praise about Planet and the sales staff was fantastic. However, we were blown away by the way Planet handled an issue after the purchase. The second car, a Volvo, had a mechanical issue under the Mass lemon law. The issue occurred on the last day of the warranty. We had brought the car to our local mechanic who replaced required parts but the issue still persisted. Then we called Planet. The service team was incredible, there were super helpful and professional and asked to have the car towed to Hanover. Planet reviewed the issue, had the car towed to the local Volvo dealer who was able to fix the problem. Planet Subaru covered all the bills including the parts replaced by our local mechanic without any hassle. We just have only the most wonderful things to say about Planet. We highly recommend doing business with Planet even when you live a 45 minute drive away like us.

Unparalleled service. I was referred to Planet Subaru by a friend who has purchased several cars from Plant Subaru and was overwhelmed by the experience. I ended up speaking with one of the managers for over 2 hours and got great and very candid advice. He helped me find just the right car for me, on my terms, without any self serving pitch. This was very much in contrast to my experience at other local dealerships. Would strongly recommend doing business with them.

My husband and I went in to buy a car and Max was such a delight. I have to admit I have no idea about anything car related, but from the beginning of our interaction, Max ensured that I was involved in the conversation taking both mine and my husbands needs into consideration, immediately making us feel at ease with his sense of humour and expertise. I had a wonderful experience when buying my car. Nick was a great person to work with and was very helpful! I gave a 4 star because there ended up being issues with my car that I wasn’t told about, however they were quick to fix it and gave me a rental car for a week while they fixed what they could. The garage staff and the front desk staff were both very nice. And when they left a bunch of grease prints in my car they took it back and detailed it no charge which I appreciated. They still sold me the car with broken bumper clips that weren’t fixed and that I didn’t discover until after I bought the car and my bumper kept popping off so that was a bit frustrating but overall a positive experience and I LOVE my car. I’ll be back to buy my next Subaru for sure!

None of the sales people were pushy, and the finance team and sales person explained every step and we’re very honest about what to expect. Plus dog pictures! Very pet friendly in addition to being people friendly. Definitely would recommend.

I bought a Subaru Ascent from this dealership yesterday. It was almost 2 hours from my house, but they offer incredible deals and even more incredible customer service. Ive always had good dealings with the service department (and sales when I bought my car from them). The passport program is well worth it, especially when you cant wait with the vehicle regularly. Its also nice to try out other models just to see if you like them (their passport program loaner cars range from basic to premium for certain models). The service department is definitely helpful and proactive and doesnt guilt trip or push you into a service you dont want to do. Also helps that the construction in the service write up area is done, its a good new look. Overall Id advise anyone to go to Planet Subaru, Ive always had good experiences with them.

We could not be happier with Planet Subaru! We have purchased two Foresters, one Outback and an Imprezza for our son at Planet. We also referred a friend who bought a Forester there. We travel from Beverly, MA to Planet because they are the BEST dealership in MA. I called every other dealership within a 50 mile radius and they could not match Plants price or incentives. This is my 3rd car I’m purchasing from Plant. 1st was a total loss (RIP deer, we were 💯 safe). 2nd we still own and drive at 115617 miles! 3rd is a brand new 2021 crosstrek that I picked up yesterday. We spent 5 hours test driving all kinds of levels of option packages and Ben was with us the whole way. My husband bowed out at 2 hours (pshh). Ben helped us to find a car that was on the way to the dealership from the factory (because it had the amenities and color I wanted). When it was ready a few weeks later, we did the financing over the phone and drove down the next day to sign. COVID SAFE facility! There is no need to haggle, every price detail is told to you up front. They will do cartwheels to make sure you are satisfied. Ok, well maybe. not cartwheels, but I didn’t ask. Ben is my new BFF so I’m totally gonna ask. Do your research, but if you wanna trust me, I 💯 guarantee that Planet has you and your families best interest at heart. (And they laugh at my jokes so we have a lot of fun…well I had a lot of fun, Ben has yet to review me as a customer;)

Researching Subaru’s and this dealership is not upfront with the pricing- many of the cars on their website do not list the price- Why? Asking people to email or call your dealership for a price is time consuming and an outdated way of doing business. List your prices so people can do their research before coming into your dealership.

I had an overall very poor experience with this dealership.1st - BAIT AND SWITCH:I arranged a time to see and test drive a specific vehicle that was available only to have to be told it was sold in my on time commute/arrival there.2nd - FORGED DOCUMENTS:I was willing to look past that and consider another vehicle. I decided to purchase another vehicle, signed the purchase agreement with a $1,000.00 deposit, then went home to wait for the vehicle to be prepped for pick-up.I found later, the VIN number on the purchase agreement did not match the VIN on the vehicle service history. I emailed the next day for a clarification on which vehicle was going to be purchased and if, during my visit, I even reviewed the correct vehicle documentation, etc., before making my decision.Deb replied with a fix to the situation with a forgery of the sales agreement. I then confirmed if that was the action that was intended, and I called per their request. She was mildly combative on the phone, interrupted frequently, and overall, unapologetic - she didnt really seem to grasp the severity of changing original documentation without my acknowledgment or approval.Overall the staff were nice, but given those set of circumstances, Id strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere. Who knows what other bad business practices, ethical or legal, they do without hesitation.

We recently decided to look at a Subaru after being loyal to another brand for many years. The entire process, from the first meeting with David in sales, to signing the paperwork with Ron in finance, and finally obtaining the inspection sticker from the service department, was 100% stellar. Planet advertises themselves as the undealership, and we could not agree more. David was patient with our multiple test drives and answered every question we had. Pricing was transparent, there were no surprises, and we never felt pressured to make a decision or sign anything. Highly recommend!!

I have been shopping online and at dealerships looking specifically for a Subaru Crosstrek. I love the look of the Crosstrek, its AWD, and ample ground clearance. Buying a car was always a stressful experience for me. It seems like a battle to even get to test drive the car without being bombarded with all the questions about how I would buy the car and when I would consider buying a car! I mean, I am there so I obviously looking to buy one!. Went to a dealer in Norwood and after 15 minutes, I just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could especially when I had to call out the sale person for slipping in the dealer prep charge and ant-rust paint under the car. Looked around on the web and read up about Planet Subaru. Made a call and talked to Lisa. Came in and got introduced to Josh Towne. Signed the purchase agreement within an hour! Its something about the place that made you feel like you are being treated with honesty and respect and most importantly, very upfront and straight forward. Added bonus is that Josh is just incredibly knowledgeable when comes to car! Pick up my Outback a few weeks later and came back for a quick tutorial with Josh and gave him a bottle of wine, that is how enjoyable the car buying experience was for me at Planet Subaru!

I strongly recommend Planet Subaru for a few reasons:- The staff I spoke with were knowledgeable in their area of expertise. They also happened to be kind and accommodating with our schedules.- Once I decided what car I wanted and which car insurance, everything else was taken care of for me (registration, getting and installing plates etc.)- Staff explained patiently how the car I was buying worked.- I bought the car during the Covid-19 pandemic and the place felt safe to be in at all times.

I’m 20 years old and purchasing my first car on my own was a little scary, but with Planet Subaru I had such a great experience! I bought a beautifulllll used Crosstrek yesterday at a really great price and I am so happy with the ease of the process (everything from test drive, to financing, to purchasing) and they are so kind and helpful. What an awesome Dealership & Service Dept.We brought our 2018 Forester in for an inspection sticker and to get the front cameras checked out as the car seemed to be pulling to the right. We were immediately offered a loaner car as the service was going to take about 2 hours or so. We got a call stating the cameras were fine, just needed a front-end alignment. So we had the loaner car all day, which suited us fine.Henry, our service rep, was constantly in contact with us. He is very pleasant to deal with as is the entire service dept.Planet Subaru exceeded our expectations.

Price quoted for all parts reviewed was $709. Price charged was $837.29. Everything was reviewed for cost beforehand. Strange how one never gets to pay whats quoted after repair evaluation is done, as it was the first price was steep. Just felt exorbitant.Always at least $700.00 no matter what. Service is probably solid, just overpriced.Go to your neighborhood trusted non dealership because just driving your car in anywhere one starts at $99 for diagnostics.

We stopped in today at Planet Subaru to buy a used car. Our salesperson Olivia was lovely to work with - very knowledgeable and easy going. The dealership has a nice relaxed atmosphere - no pressure sales which is a nice change from the wheeling and dealing that goes on at other places.

I leased a new Subaru Ascent from here a year ago and had the best experience. Since then I have had to come in for a recall, oil change etc and again service was amazing. The most painless car buying experience ever. I negotiated the entire deal via email with James over a couple weeks. There was absolutely NO pressure. No harassing phone calls. No constant follow-ups. Just an easy-going experience. What they say is exactly what they mean, point blank. I then worked with Eric for the test drive and to sign paperwork and he was fantastic also. In total I spent 20 minutes inside the physical dealership just to sign papers.Kudos to the service department as well. As soon as I drove off the lot, my tire pressure sensor went off. I turned around and they squeezed me in to fix it (nail in tire). Plus I got to chill with “Pabst” the golden retriever while I waited :)

Loved my experience with my first Subaru at Planet. We worked with Lauri Blaauboer and she was terrific. Was not pushy, worked on our schedule, met several requests for seeing multiple options, and ultimately had my trust. I stopped working with other local Subaru dealers nearly instantly, any potential cost savings were not worth it.We ended up leasing a 2020 Ascent, and also traded in a Toyota Camry for a great amount. Looking forward to an ongoing partnership with Planet.

Absolutely Amazing! This was my first time buying a car. I worked with Max he was very patient and he made me feel comfortable from start to finish during the buying process. I love the laid back atmosphere they create here as well, there is no other dealership like this! I went to some other Subaru dealerships in the area and felt very pressured and uncomfortable. I ended up coming back to Planet Subaru and was so relieved I did. They are seriously the best!

We sort of happened upon this dealership when my wife bought her used car there, drawn by a dealership that actually has good reviews. She had such a positive experience, including the presence of the pups, that I also moved all of my service to this dealership. The customer service is always excellent and friendly (again, the dogs!!!). I happened to have a strange issue with my car, and wound up contacting Subaru of America. Planet helped me coordinate with them and negotiated with them on my behalf. At the end of the day, I felt very much that they took care of me and my car, and Matt Ryan and I are basically best friends now. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Ben, helped us buy a new 2021 Forester. We are not driving that much and considered buying a used Subaru. Bens manner is patient, direct, clear and informative. He contacted us with updates on availabity of good recommendations. We were shopping, we wanted safety options and he did not pressure us. Since we are in a pandemic and my 18 yr old car decided to retire I was left to find a car. I havent looked at cars in all those years but, Nate, Claire and Jim were amazing. Drove home my new 2014 Crosstrek Hybrid the other day and wanted to give a shoutout to the great staff at Planet Subaru. Joe Harris in sales was kind, helpful, and wasnt pushy like salespeople at other dealerships. Cant wait to show off my new Crosstrek!

On Thursday, December 31st, I brought my 2021 Subaru Forester Limited to Planet Subaru, for the first time, to install the OEM Rockford Fosgate Audio Upgrade. The labor cost was $300 for what was determined to be a two hour installation. When I picked up the car at 4:50pm, the upgrade could be heard as expected with the $500 Flex41 amp with digital processor and two speakers.For some unexplained reason, the two HVAC Duct Extensions (Kit part H), were left in their bag in the front seat not installed. Also, the Rockford Fosgate Badges with push nuts were not installed. Duct extensions not only allow the heat and ac to reach the passenger but also prevent potential damage to the amp which will blow hot and cold air directly on the unit. This step would have been completed while the front passenger seat was removed.The badges had to be completed while the 2 door panels were removed. Certainly not as important as the HVAC vent extensions omitted, but I paid for a complete installation in good faith.Be aware the technician skipped steps and I got an ‘almost’ installation. The Service Manager (M.R.) has provided zero resolution. My request was simply for a refund of one hour of labor so that a reputable Subaru dealer could complete the audio installation. Based on this first experience with Planet Subaru of Hanover, MA, I am highly disappointed, distrustful and dissatisfied with the service department. I have no confidence especially with no customer service remedy going on three weeks.

Excellent experience buying our used car. Very reasonable and easy to work with the sales department. Scott was very friendly and knowledgeable. Shortly after purchase had a small electrical problem that required servicing and also had a great experience with the service department. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fair and friendly car buying experience!
