Ask for Shannon Hurley, shes the best and friendliest sales consultant Ive ever encountered. She helped push my registration request to the Main Branch after the state gave me a headache regarding my registration. Shannon gave me a courteous call letting me know that the state of Massachusetts approved my registration and even waited an hour for me to rush down from Boston during the afternoon rush to pick up my car. I would buy from here again and please give Shannon a raise she deserves it!

The facility is nice and well kept. The overall experience wasn’t that great. I had a 9:30 appointment for an oil change a regular maintenance. I got there 10 minutes before the appointment and after a 90 minutes of waiting I asked what was going on and how much longer this was going to take? My 4 runner was done and just sitting in the bay, not sure how long it was sitting there but either way. Then I left the dealership and the low pressure tire light came on. So they rotated the tires but didn’t check the tire pressure’s? That was my last free service and trust me, I know it wasn’t free. So there ya have it folks. Not go time

Words cant describe how happy I am with the car I purchased from McGee Toyota of Hanover. Ahmed & Marc went out of their way for me to ensure I would be able to pick up my car this past weekend. Bought a car here about a month ago. Used Corolla. Nice and friendly service. Car is great. However, they refused to show total cost of loan (in a “we’ll get to that later, sign here” type of way) and would not allow outside financing. Just didn’t bode well with me, but we work so much we didn’t really have the time to do much else.Edit to address dealer’s reply: Came in as a couple, purchased under my girlfriend’s name but my personal info was still collected. Not going to publicize additional info here.

Tim ROOT is FABULOUS, and really cares about his customers! Weve leased many cars from McGee and Tim is our service Rep. He actually called my husband, concerned about the recall on my Rav4. He personally knew that I drive to Maine to help with my new granddaughter every 2 weeks and was concerned about the fuel pump acting up on the highway.WHO DOES THAT these days. I am a first time new-car buyer and feel completely scammed into buying $6,000 of an additional warranty because of Andrew Cavicchi. As the finance manager assigned to us, he presented the warranty for us to pick and the additional cost it would be (shown as a monthly payment and not as the full amount - intentionally to look cheaper). He never used the language optional, extended warranty, or additional warranty. It was presented to us as a choice of which to get, not as an option to purchase it at all. Something didnt sit right with me about the transaction and a home when I looked at the signed paperwork I realized we had paid $6,000 for an additional warranty that we dont need and with none of the terms listed. I can live with the fact that I will have to pay this exorbitant amount of money because I was too ignorant to ask more questions, but it sickens me that he will trick countless others into the same situation. I dont know if Toyota pays their finance managers on commission, encouraging them to trick customers into buying more than they need, or if Andrews ineptness at his job and lack of clarifying language and compassion for customers is to blame. My family and I have owned Toyotas for over 30 years and have never had a complaint until now. Toyota, I implore you to make sure your staff are trained to care for the customer, especially the first time car-owner who may not know what they dont know.

Purchasing a car here was the fastest and most enjoyable experience I have ever had buying a car....went in at 6 and left at 8...and we drove our new car off the lot that night! The pricing was very fair and the sales team was not too pushy. Shannon was really helpful, friendly, answered all our questions, and followed up exactly as she said she would! BUYERS BEWARE!!I just bought a brand new 2021 Toyota Highlander Limited on July 17th, 2021 from McGee Toyota of Hanover and it has been a complete nightmare!The car has a mechanical problem that they cant fix. It has a pulsation/wobbly problem when you drive it past 50 miles an hour.I have only driven this car for 4 days. It has been in their service department since then and it is still in their shop today.They told me that their top mechanic has been working on the car.They tried new tires. That did not fix the problem. They are testing and analyzing the car to see how they can fix the problem. Obviously nothing has worked because they had to call in the Toyota Field Technician and he is recommending axels to be replaced. MAYBE that will fix the problem. No idea how long this will take.Imagine buying a new expensive car, at sticker price, and having it parked in a service bay station at the dealership?No consumer would be pleased about this!!This car is a lemon. It is defective. They cannot figure out what is wrong with this car. They are guessing at this point.I had asked for a swap for another car they had on the lot and they said no.So now I have asked for a refund and my old trade in back. I am well within my rights. They keep giving me the run around and the general manger Bob Piehl gave me the 800 number to call Toyota headquarters because his hands are tied and he cannot do anything. WOW!! REALLY! He is the general manager of the dealership and he cannot do anything?Do not buy from McGee Toyota of Hanover. You will regret it.The only person there that knows how to treat a customer is Brian Davidson. He has really tried to help me and he is the only one that knows what customer service is all about. David Hill, the service writer, should take lessons from him. He is extremely unprofessional. Dont work with him if you have no choice but to take your car in for service.I did call the 800 number at Toyota as the general manger suggested and I am waiting to hear from them.So far I have heard from no one from the dealership today.I will continue to post updates.

The purchase experience at McGee was excellent, their pricing is fair and their buying process was so efficient that we drove home with our new car the same day we purchased it. That has never happened to me before. Their Finance person answered all of my questions and walked thru the various warranty packages they offer without pressuring me to buy. Once my registration was ready I returned a few days later for them to inspect the car and answer any questions I might have. We are very happy with the entire purchase.

A+ customer service!I lost the key to the set of locking lug nuts on our 4Runner. I purchased an after market set of lug nuts to replace the stock ones. I asked the service department if they would use their key to remove the locking lug nut. They did so within 20 minutes and didnt charge me a dime. I was expecting and willing to pay them for their labor. Instead the lovely woman working the counter handed me my keys and gave me a smile (I assume) from behind her mask. I highly recommend visiting the friendly staff.

I arrived for my 7:30 A.M. appointment eight minutes early. I was there for front brakes replacement, an oil change, and state inspection. They did not finish the work until 9:54 A.M. The front brakes and rotors came to $660. The average cost is supposed to be no more than $400 per axle. I will definitely rethink going to McGee for anything more than an oil change.Update: McGee price-matched with Sullivan Toyota and refunded me the difference.

Walked in after having already bought from them before with it all paid off. Was told to wait until their female rep was done until my husband walked in and then I was no longer asked to wait. The rep would only talk to my husband even though I am buying the car. No loyalty, no respect! I would prefer to spend my money (which FYI I have without my husband being present) at another dealer for the same car! You should be embarrassed and train your sales people

Really nice people and very helpful. Great to be able to drive into the garage, especially since I arrived during a downpour. Nice waiting area, a large room with a TV, but also small rooms off to the side that were pretty quiet. Very nice WiFi available, fast and high quality. Work done exactly when they said it would be done. Ive been going there for years and it has always been great.

Worst experience I have had at a car dealership. Would give zero stars if possible. I live in RI and was told to come on up to MA to the McGee Toyota of Hanover dealership. After taking the day off from work and committing to driving a 3 hour round trip, I arrive only to be told by the salesperson that they cannot sell me a truck because I am from out of state and their Covid restrictions does not allow this. The restrictions I understand, but not making customers aware of this is unacceptable. Their mistake cost me money and wasted my time. Afterwards, I received an email telling me the truck I wanted is still available, infuriating me even more because I did not get an apology, but another sales pitch. I found this dealership unorganized and rude. The truck I drove smelled like someone just smoked 2 packs of cigarettes in it. I reeked of cigarettes even after I left. Avoid McGee Toyota of Hanover!

I just financed a 2017 Toyota Tacoma with my son for 32K. (The second vehicle I have purchased there). This is his first new vehicle. The service there was disappointing. I was assured that an area of missing paint on this vehicle would be repaired. When I went to pick it up 2 days later, the area was touched up with paint that looked like a child applied it and when I rubbed it, the paint came right off along with more of the original paint. I let them know what happened while still at the lot, Ahmed told me they will fix it. I left and did not take the vehicle home that day. I called the next day and was told by Ahmed the they cleaned up what they did and reapplied touch up paint. He said they are not a body shop and that is the best they could do. I called and left two messages for the manager, Bill who never returned my call. What a dissapointment to be mislead and lied to. Even more so for my son for this first experience in buying from a car dealership.

No longer 5 stars here. I was told I could not turn in my Rav 4 lease to Carmax or Carvana and McGee wanted to give me nothing for my return low milege lease.. I had done 5 prior deals and was very disappointed when I found that was not true, I worked with Carmax and got check for over 3K after turning in my vehicle and used it to get into a new lease at a different Toyota dealership. Disappointing to say the least.The new sales manager tried to help after the fact but it was too late. I had alraedy found another car.

Made an online inquiry and was invited to schedule a test drive without annoying spam emails. Once I made the appointment I met with a sales rep (Joey Z) who was ready to show me the car I inquired. Hassle free test drive, showed me the actual price, which stayed the same even at the finance office when I changed method of payment. Quickest car search and sale I ever went through.Would highly recommend. Excellent facility, my staff for the sale was awesome. Would recommend to anyone.

The 4 of us (myself/wife/sister/brother in law) walked into the dealership today around 3:00pm. Was greeted by Val Barbosa. I explained that my sister & brother in law worked with Ahmed earlier in the week and we were looking to test drive a few cars. Right away, Val stopped me in the middle of me trying to explain that we are looking to buy 2 cars, wait a minute, you want to test drive a FEW cars? - was not professional and made us feel unwelcomed. He explained that Sundays are a zoo at the dealer, that Ahmed already has 3 people he is working with, and there are other appointments for the day.We understand that we made a mistake by not making an appointment, but we have not gone car shopping in many years. We wish that Val did a better job communicating this with us.We will not recommend Hanover Mcgee to friends and family and would like management to know that they lost 2 potential buys.

I had my cousins 2006 corolla repaired for her. Donna on the phone was fast, and Dave Hill in service was on his game. Its funny leaving the shop after the repairs do you know a noise started in back of the car. I drove back and the service manager was there and was right on it. ( I wish I got his name ) he got in the car checked the noise, and realized it was somewhere in the back. Then leaving the engine on he got down on the floor of the garage to find the actual location. It turned out coincidentally with the car being 14 years old the heat shield had happen to come loose on that particular day. He fixed it on the spot . He did what needed to be done . Almost died in the road since , even after asking them about my serpentine belt , they said it was fine and let me drive off the lot only to have it break on the road-I could have died-should not be in business -awful place-they take no responsibility for their irresponsible service- let me drive off the lot to almost die on the road.

As a Toyota specialist one can only assume that they undertook the maintenance properly, therefore cannot further comment.My only frustration is, I tried to gauge our family expense for the month, & rang Hanover to enquire what preventative maintenance work was due on our 2015 Toyota Sienna with 69,500 on the clock. After several minutes I was informed that only engine oil & filter were required at $75.00, so I booked it in.The following week, after sitting in the Toyota waiting lounge for 15mins I was informed that the transmission oil & differential shaft drive oil all required changing plus, gaskets nuts bolts etc.An hour & half later I left after departing with $577.00

Took my mothers car in for service a couple of weeks back. Wanted to compliment how clean the waiting area was and everybody was wearing a mask. I had my five year old son with me and we were watching the vending machine man fill the machine. The guy asked if it was ok to give my son a free bag of cheeze it’s. He said his boys are older and misses that time. It was awfully nice of your vending employee to just give away an item. Thank you Mcgee Toyota.

Its funny but I actually cant get anyone to return my calls to buy a car from them.Billy Morris sent me an exceptional price for a corolla on TrueCar, then never replied to my emails. When I called McGee they keep routing me to sales reps which are unavailable and i go to voice mail. I tried a few times until finally someone answered, i described that i want to verify the price before coming, he said sure ill email the quote in a few minutes...we hung up and he never sent the email.

They will sell you a car, then sell it to someone else!!! I had made a down payment of $4500 on Saturday evening they told to return on Monday to finalize the deal since the banks were closed. Come Monday I walk into the dealership to be told that they had sold the car on Sunday. So now I’m left with a hard inquiry on my credit, I have to wait for my banks refund as well as find another vehicle.

Stopped by to see when I could schedule an airbag replacement (recall item) and service assistant asked if I wanted to do it right then provided the parts department had the required part#.He called the parts service line and they said they would get back to him. A couple minutes later they confirmed and I agreed to wait as they said it would be no more than an hour.As promised work was completed within the hour wait and I was on my way.Great service and experience all around.

Pretty disappointed in the experience. I was told a Toyota with outdated software for the Infotainment system. I cant use my phone with the car and the navigation system is outdated. System keeps freezing and restarting. Was told to buy a Toyota warranty (the Platinum plan) and it would cover any issues I have since the dealer offered no warranty. Was told everything in the car was in working order. Toyota dealer near me wont fix my issue under the warranty McGee sold me and the sales rep at McGee wont return my messages.

Confusing.i had a schedule meeting with a rep I had been speaking with.as i entered the building a sales rep asked me who I needed to speak to..i told him I had an appointment with Mike..he said oh follow me.i mentioned I was suppose to meet with Mike but no answer he then proceeded to sell me a vehicle..i was trading in my car and I gave him the keys so he can appraise my vehicle. But he never appraised it..so he would be even give me amount my car was worth..i told the sales guy I needed a built in GPS and leather seats he proçeeded to ignore my request and wanted me to drive a car with no gps. Yes a brand new RAV4 is nice but...anyways I went to this dealership back in 2013 and I had a great experience.

I‘ve had the worst experience with both of my Toyota’s at Mcgee Toyota of Hanover Massachusetts.Wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.I had frame issues with both my vehicles.They were not helpful at all resolving these problems that my vehicles had.I will never buy anything from this dealer nor go there for service Ever..Thanks for nothing!!

Thought Id be leaving with a new car that I found a great deal on. Unfortunately, after being told absolutely not after asking to put a deposit on the car and return with cash later that night, I did not buy it. I think the salesman mentioned the two guys in the lounge looking at the car after me more than he actually tried to help me. Terrible experience :(
