I took my 2018 CRV in because of road noise. Steve diagnosed as left from wheel bearing assembly. I wanted brakes changed also, even though I could have gone a few more miles as they were. Crystal called to let me know the status and gave me a detailed description of what was needed with a clearly stated cost to fix. The wheel bearing was under the Honda warranty, so told me that a dealership would have to do that repair in order to file under the Honda warranty. I was also told that I have a tire with some inner cupping on it, that is also contributing to the road noise.Crystal said that if Honda dealer gives me a hard time about warranty to call her back and she would handle it. She was eager to be sure I signed up for my rewards also. These folks are awesome. Truly is your professional alternative to the dealership.

Wonderful service, jobs done correctly the first time, they go above and beyond to make sure youre satisfied and well taken care of. My wife now swears she doesnt want any other car besides a Honda/Acura/Toyota/Lexus so we can keep coming here for service. Highly recommend. These guys were great to use. I really had a good experience which is so rare in the car industry-at least for me it is. When I came in I was approached by a service Manager who sat and spoke with me for about 30 mins about what was going on with my car. I had previously been working with many dealerships and was wary of all of them but I felt these guys were real with me. They were patient and took time to explain what was happening while keeping me in the loop. Hendrix Honda had required me to commit to a 3 day and “up to $1000” diagnostic fee JUST to find out what was wrong. FCH had my car diagnosed, repaired and back to me in 3 days. And nowhere close to a 1k diag. fee.FCH helped me cut my out of pocket costs and worked with my extended warranty company as much as possible. I am very glad I ended up using them and will definitely be back.

Ive brought my Honda and Toyota vehicles here on several occasions. They provide service on a level above what I have received at area dealerships, and have been completely satisfied. My most recent visit was to have worn suspension components replaced, and they did an excellent job of identifying the problem components and getting new parts installed on the same day. I highly recommend First Class HALT to anyone with a Honda, Acura, Lexus, or Toyota.

Best HALT service center in Greenville. They are honest and trustworthy, and wont try to push anything on you. If they recommend something and you say no, thats it. They will mention it on the next visit which I really like. I feel very comfortable leaving all my Hondas here, 2012 Accord EX, 2013 CRV EXL and 2019 CRV EXL. I wont take my Hondas anywhere else.

Weve used HALT of Greenville for two of our vehicles (Honda and Toyota) over the last six years. Every interaction has been positive, and they have worked hard to save us money. I think most people dont know much about cars and are concerned that they are being taken advantage of by mechanics. That should not be a concern here. They are very clear about what needs to be done, how much it will cost, and when the work will be completed. I highly recommend HALT! I wouldnt take my car anywhere else.

My first visit to HALT. I researched their web site and was impressed with their business model. It was very easy to make an appointment. Easy to find location and more convenient to me than Lexus dealer. Upon arrival I was greeted professionally and offered multiple options to insure my needs were covered while waiting. Service began promptly as appointed. All staff were courteous and very responsive. I was treated professionally in every respect. Diagnostics were complete and definitive. All work was communicated clearly and completed as promised. This is my new service center for my Lexus based on this experience. I highly recommend for owners of Lexus.

Will not be coming back! Brought my car in for service and left with a mile list on what is wrong with my car! Took it somewhere else and the list they had gave me was 100% incorrect. Poor customer service all they care about is getting your money. Called several times with an issue they have charged me for twice now and its still not resolved. Very poor way to run a business. Like I said all they care about is getting your money. There prices are way to high. They need to learn to handel customers concerns better. And not just worry about taking there money. I wont be back period! If I could I would give them no stars for a reason!

I will definitely be back! I have a Toyota Highlander SUV, and got an oil change and overall look at my car. They even take pictures of the issues your car has! They send you a report that tells you all the issues, how severe, or how minimal. They explain the issues well, so if you know absolutely nothing about cars it is super helpful! They are worth every penny, I reccommend First Class HALT to anyone!

Good to know they use Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Parts. I like the fact that I have a 1 year warranty on the work completed and you are covered nationwide. They stand behind their work. HALT is the most knowledgeable and fair shop for lexus service that I’ve been to. They work by the factory manual and only use OEM parts.The service reps are hit or miss. Thomas is knowledgeable and accommodating - speak with him if you can. David will be pushy even after you state your preferences for your car’s service. Know what you’re talking about/requesting if you speak with David.Excellent shop overall.

Recently found myself used car shopping after my car was totaled in a rear-end accident. I heard about First Class HALT from Walt Deptulas radio show on 105.5 The roar. These guys are simply as advertised! Helped point me in the right direction in terms of narrowing my search (which models and years I may want to avoid due to known problems, ect). Once I settled on my 2013 Toyota Highlander, I brought it in for HALTs pre-purchase inspection (not some 30-minute safety inspection but a half day diagnostic deep dive). Im not a good negotiator, the used car inventory is very slim right now and I was in desperate need of a car (I had very little leverage). However, the packet of information HALT provided to me more than paid for itself when negotiating the price of the car! I could go on and on about my experience with Mark and the other technicians. Im just happy to know I finally found an honest group of car mechanics.

Brought my 2012 acura MDX here for the 1st time. I have had horrible experiences at Bradshaw Acura where I bought my vehicle and finally decided to find a better place. They were able to diagnose the issue I had with my car when others had failed. Repair was at a reasonable cost and performed in a sufficient timeframe. I plan on bringing my acura and other cars here as well going forward. This of course is only my 1st stop so take it with a grain of salt, but as everyone knows its hard to find a good auto shop.

The service technician are always straight forward about necessary repairs, will provide recommendations on when to wait on certain service options versus encouraging you to do unnecessary repairs. An honest evaluation is one of my biggest concerns when dealing with auto repair shops. I brought my 2012 Honda accord in because it was misfiring in two cylinders. to be brief, they said two of the piston rings were bad and that it would normally cost a few thousand dollars to fix however they took the initiative and checked with Honda and found it was still under a specific warranty (issued by Honda because Honda knew this was an issue). they sent me to a trusted dealership they deal with to get it fixed for free. Halt only charged me a reasonable fee for diagnosing the problem. Ill be back.

At the worst possible time - I didnt have the money in my budget to have this done right now. My airbag warning light came on my dashboard. I was planning a trip, to see a friend, soon and knew I couldnt do both. Knowing one of the most dangerous lights you can have on is the airbag warning light. I decided to take it in for service. First Class HALT fixed my problem and it didnt cost too much. They did not take advantage of the situation! I feel so relieved and thankful that I took my car in to them. It is a very pleasant and professional atmosphere.2) We have our car serviced at the recommended intervals. It is easy to make a mutually agreeable time to schedule the service. The work is completed by the time estimated.3) We consider the cost of service or repairs to be very fair and competitive.4) When we went for our last service we thought it might be time to have some work done on our brakes, based on the assessment during the previous service. However, we were told after the brakes were inspected, we would not need brake service until the next service. I was a little upset that I had to pay a diagnostic fee -over $100 - when I told them what the car was doing and that I was leaving it for them to fix. The repair bill was $1400 And I really thought adding the diagnostic fee was unnecessary. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

This review is long overdue and Mark has earned my respect a long time ago. From previous experiences with service centers and some dealerships, I am always hesitant to try a new business. However, Mark completely changed my perspective of service centers. I value customer service and I value upfront honesty even more. Mark does not talk down to me and lets me know what should be done and doesnt pressure me into doing everything at once but definitely helping me to prioritize. Great service. These guys are specialists and set the bar very very high. I would not even consider taking a Honda, Acura, Lexus, or Toyota product anywhere else.
