This Firestone always goes above and beyond. I live in Roanoke but both times I’ve been close to this Firestone in grapevine and their service is great. Both times I’ve gone it’s been because of a flat tire. Rob was so helpful today! I’ve been trying to get this flat fixed since yesterday and it’s been really frustrating but Rob really made me feel much better about them being able to take care of it. Thank you to this Firestone crew!

I go here for oil changes and it’s always quick and out the door. This time I went I went for several services including a coolant flush, brake line fluid change, spark plug change, oil change, brake pad inspection and state inspection. I did a lot of these services because my car has recently passed 100k miles. I asked a dealer for a quote because I figured they may have a package that would be reasonably priced but they added on extra stuff I knew I didn’t need. Here Alonzo helped me get everything sorted and at a MUCH better price. Super nice to work with it and even better the car came back done hours ahead of schedule. Definitely my go to place!

Came in today for an appointment at 7. They didnt start until after 8. I was quoted at 3 to 4 hours max, and it took over 5. I was given no updates by employees until I camped out by the counter while they helped other people. Multiple times, Ive seen it in the air, but nobody working on it, or even near it. While being told itll be yet another hour because its a lot of work, a worker comes into the front office to deliver a couple of teas. They have time to make drink runs, but not work on cars.

What they dont care about people in their face how they are going to take care of our cars in the back? Looks like there is no manager at this location or there is a disqualified one .. unbelievable.. just keep in mind there is a firestone everywhere around so we dont have to come 5o this location.. They’ve had my car since 10am. I had to call for aa follow up at 4:15. I was told that it’ll be ready at 6:30 it’s 6:15 my car is still lifted with no tires on it. For my first visit I’m extremely disappointed. The person at the front when I came to get my truck was very rude and standoffish like I was bothering him to get information on my truck. When I asked why no one contacted me that it was taking a lot longer than expected kept saying I don’t know I’m not the person that contacted you. Not good customer service at all.

I set up an appointment for an oil change yesterday and they didnt even start on my car for 30 minutes after I got there. (What is the purpose of setting an appointment if they dont start when for the time you set it?) Ultimately, the oil change took an hour and a half.I could live with the long wait time, but what I cant live with was the way my car smelled of MAJOR B.O. after they were finished. My car smelled so bad on the drive home I had to open the windows and I still gagged all the way home. I sprayed it with air freshener when I got home and it still smelled when I got into my car this morning. I TOTALLY understand it is the summer in Texas and the shop gets hot, but at the VERY LEAST spray something when you are finished if you have to get into your customers cars. Or hand out free hanging fresheners to your customers during the summer months. The only reason this is two stars and not one is because it was a cheap oil change. I am sure the company isnt bad (even the people at the front desk were really nice and welcoming), but the mechanics were terrible. And since the mechanics are what matters... I wont be taking my car there again.

I have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler and the other day pilot bearing went out. I took it to Firestone and they said it would cost $107 to diagnose the issue. I asked them if that would be waived if I decided to have them fix it. They said no. I should have told them to forget it at that point but I let them diagnose the issue. They told me that the Flywheel need replaced ( FYI, it is only 11 months old!) , the clutch assembly needed replaced, the Transfer case needed replaced!! and the clutch fork needed replaced. these repairs totaled $1630.00. So I told them not to touch my Jeep and to make it ready for t tow truck to pick it up. I had it taken to Holmans Transmissions. They had it literally 24 hours. They told me that the Pilot bearing went out and the it would cost $550 for them to replace the clutch assembly that included the pilot Bearing. They did an excellent job and My jeep runs great!!

Both times I’ve brought it here even after checking my tires this last time to be sure there wasn’t anything in them. They found a large screw that looked relatively new. Beware of this place! I work on my own cars and have a best friend that is a master mechanic. He and I had made several repairs and he signed off that the car needed nothing other than an alignment. I took it to Firestone since its close to my place of employment (otherwise, I would not have gone here at all). I dropped off the car and they call me approximately 2 hours later and tell me it cannot be aligned due to a faulty tie-rod that had a lot of play. I had just replaced the CV-axle myself the day before and inspected all steering and suspension components and everything was up to par including nothing having any play in it. He then proceeds to tell me it needs about 8 other things. I couldnt help but laugh at him. And just to give him the benefit of the doubt, I checked everything he listed once I got my car back and just as expected, none of the items he reported needed to be replaced/repaired. Needless to say, I told him not to touch anything and I would pick it up. They arent getting a cent from me and I recommend you not let them rob you either. Also, there was a new thud from the steering when I picked it up. The ding-dongs did not tighten the tie-rod back upon trying to align it. I believe they left it like that on purpose to cause damage. I believe its their standard operating procedure in order to try to get you to come back to get repairs for issues they caused. They also bank on you not verifying what the say is wrong with it. The play the odds and hope the customer will say, yeah, go ahead and fix it. Well, not me and hopefully not you. Dont let them rob you blind. They are shady, and sarcastic crooks.

If i could leave no stars I would. My wife and I are meeting some friends out for dinner one night and after dinner the car wouldnt start so we had it towed to firestone as they were the closest mechanic shop around. We had them do a diagnostic on the car to figure out what was wrong with the car so i could gauge if i wanted to repair it myself or have them do the repair. The issue turned out to be a fuel pump and the price wouldnt have been much more than what it would have cost me to make the same repair and we were told it would be $650 to have the car fixed. I had them fix it and my wife went to pay for it and they charged her $850 out the door. My wife not knowing any better payed them and called me and told me what happened. I call the manager asking why the sudden rise in price and he told me the diagnostic was the reason for the additional cost. I had no problem with them charging for a diagnostic, but I did have a problem with them not telling me that when i asked for a price to have the car done. The manager was unwilling to do the right thing and refund the surprise $200 he added onto the bill. So I waited and was going to call the store back and give the manager another chance to make it right. My wife was out grocery shopping when the car barely start just 3 days after the initial repair. It turned out her battery was bad so irritated I called the Firestone that made the initial repair and asked how my battery goes from good to not functional in 3 days. He gave me a bunch of excuses why it wasnt his fault and so i demanded he refund the diagnostic. He then implied i was lying about the first conversation we had and then had the brass to call me unreasonable. In short i wouldnt recommend this store as the manager is a giant man child who has no interest in taking responsibility for his actions.

*****Tried to Steal $1,250*******I know my review is long so I will copy and paste just the incident and you can choose to read the whole thing if you like - I asked them to inspect the breaks while it was on the lift. The manager Heather comforts me and says she will take a look and make sure we get my 2014 explorer back on the road safely. This lady proceeds to call me 30 min after I leave saying that my fairly new vehicle will require all new brakes and rotors with a brake flush to the total of $1,250! Now if she would have said 400-600 I wouldnt have hesitated and bought the brakes, but for that kind of money I took it to a friend how has a shop in Irving. After I drive 30 minutes out of my way to my buddies shop, he tells me that that brakes and rotors have over %50 life and that Heather probably told me other wise to boost her commission and because she knew I was overly concerned because of the tire blowout. *******Dont usually write reviews but I will be writing 2 today! One 5 star and the other a 1 star. I have been a customer of this particular Firestone for about 15 years, we own 6 cars that we USED TO get service there frequently. They are about 5 min from my home and always seemed professional and friendly, until you realize the lies and deception that takes place here. Since they are so close and I have been using them for so long, I never thought to read the horrible reviews about this place until I was nearly cheated out of $1,250. Let me explain, I was exiting William D Tate in Grapevine and had a nasty tire blow out. I instructed the tow company to take my car to Firestone, because it was close and they were my trusted shop. After up-selling me on a more expensive tire (which I dont particularly mind, only a 100 difference) I asked them to inspect the breaks while it was on the lift. The manager Heather comforts me and says she will take a look and make sure we get my 2014 explorer back on the road safely. This lady proceeds to call me 30 min after I leave saying that my fairly new vehicle will require all new brakes and rotors with a brake flush to the total of $1,250! After I drive 30 minutes out of my way to my buddies shop, he tells me that that brakes and rotors have over %50 life and that Heather probably told me other wise to boost her commission and because she knew I was overly concerned because of the tire blowout. Being a business owner myself and before that a sales executive, I understand the pressure of bringing in new revenue, but to intentionally defraud customers who trust you... I cant even begin to formulate the words that describe the hurt and sense of betrayal I feel from this Firestone, and Heather in particular. Like I mentioned earlier, we have 6 vehicles, 3 needed new inspection stickers today and I went to Midas right next door instead of deal with these lying bums. I am a real customer and I have spoke to the corporate office, my issue number is 2239555, and I am awaiting a call from Tim the area manager to find out if he is complicit in this theft.

Then I had to call for another update on Wednesday and they told me that my car MIGHT be ready by the end of the day.No one ever called back when they said they were going to give an update, and every time I called apparently they were working on my car,but it was going to take the entire day and maybe another day before I could pick it up. I have been bringing my car here for years & have been pleased with the service I have been provided....until now. I recently took my car here form an A/C check. They did all of their testing and found the compressor was not working properly. It would cost $1400. Fine. I scheduled to get it fixed. I went to pick up my car, paid the bill & walked out as a satisfied customer. I got in my car & started it. It made a horrible vibrating/grinding sound. I pulled my car up to the garage & Danny, the manager, was outside. I explained it made a really awful sound but of course by this time, the sound had subsided. He said to let him know if it happened again. Sure enough, I was riving that evening in stop-n-go rush hour traffic . Every time I came to a stop & sat at idle, it made a horrendous sound & vibrated through my brake pedal. It continued this throughout my trip that evening. The next day, I stopped into Firestone & explained the issue again. Danny said they would take a look at it. We tried multiple times to duplicate the sound, but were unable to. Danny told me he needed to get the car to duplicate the sound in order to fix it. Danny consulted with his mechanic, John (20 years of experience) & they came to the conclusion that it was the fan motor. This took about 2 hours of sitting & waiting. That evening, it continued the sounds & became more convinced it was a failing compressor. The next day, I called again. Pretty much same story. Danny insisted it was the fan motor. He said he would replace the fan motor free of charge just to prove it to me. While I appreciate that he was willing to give me a free fan motor, I had already invested quite a large bit of time trying to get my car fixed & was convinced it was the compressor. The next day, I took off early from work to take my car back there. After a ride with John, my car still did not duplicate the noise. Danny & John decided they would run some further diagnostics on the car to see if they could figure it out., even though I insisted it was the compressor. And heres the other part of the story...the compressor was under warranty and they could warranty it out but insisted it couldnt possibly be this new compressor. John runs some questionable diagnostics...he set a fan outside of my car & blew it towards my car to simulate driving down the road. The measurements he got from this diagnostic further convinced Danny & John that it was not the compressor. After over 3 hours in the shop that day, the evening ended with Danny telling me it was the fan motor or it could be the ECM. He said they do not have any way to read the codes on my car so I needed to take it to the dealership to diagnosis. He explained he would even pay for that & a rental car for me to get the problem fixed. By the end of the evening, Danny wouldnt listen & gave me my money back, told me to take my car & never come back. The next day, I called the dealership and they got me in for diagnostics on my car. I received a call from my service advisor that indeed it was the compressor. It had shelled out into the condensor & so now I needed a compressor, condensor & other parts that were damaged from the metal shavings. My bill now went from $1400 to $2800. I immediately called Firestone & spoke directly with Danny & informed him that indeed it was the compressor & it had failed & now I needed additional work. He said he had washed his hands of my vehicle & had told me to never bring my car back there. Frustrated by this but left with no other option at the time, I called the dealership back & gave them the green light to fix my car. The next day around 9:15, I received a call from Danny that they were going to take care of it. Basically after multiple phone calls to Danny, Tim (the area manager) and customer service (who promised a call within 48 hours) there has been no remedy. I am out $2800. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK OR THEIR MOTTO...FIXED RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!

If i could, clearly, rate ZERO stars i would. My boyfriend took my car in Monday 5/23/16 and asked to have one of my door handles replaced, it had broken a few days prior. They quoted him a total of $124 plus tax for labor and parts. They also scheduled an appointment for Monday 5/30/16 at 3pm. The morning of the appointment we called to make sure everything was on schedule and a lady told us the part had not arrived yet and should be here by 3pm and that she was looking at the delivery route to verify. She called soon after to say the part would actually not be arriving today and we needed to reschedule to Tuesday 5/31/16. Seeing as we had an appointment and everything was verified i was obviously upset. I spoke to a manager explaining that we specifically took this day off of work to have this done and rescheduling would be an issue. He suggested i come in Wednesday morning, they have now pushed it back 2 days, and that i show up late for work. That shows me his work ethic right there, i believe his name was steve or something of the sort. He also told me the cost would be $188, which is a good $60 more than originally quoted. We went back and forth at which one point i was hung up on, and i called back - he tried blaming me for the call ending, again, very professional. I politely told him that seeing they are unwilling to work with my work schedule, and have now upped our quote price i would no longer be interested in using their business.I ended the call, jumped in my car, which is hard to do without a door handle might i add. I drove down to Autozone in grapevine and they will have my door handle here Tuesday morning (tomorrow morning - FAST SERVICE) and ready to pick up when i get off work. And you cant beat their price of less than $50, especially with nearly no wait time!!!Ive had multiple problems with Firestone in the past as well at other locations and i would never recommend them to anyone. When a COMPANY schedules an appointment with a CLIENT and the COMPANY reschedules/cancels/changes quotes/etc they are at fault and i would expect a little more professionalism from them. They also told us the reason the part was late was because we called to order and they couldnt get in touch with us to verify - this is not true. You can check the security cameras and see my boyfriend in the store talking to an associate to order the part. VERY POOR SERVICE.

I went in because my battery that I had replaced 4 months ago at the time of writing this had died (bought from a different firestone) and the guy who tested my battery basically walked around for a bit then just listened to it and made the assumption that my alternater needed to be replaced they quoted my 385 dollars just for the part ( AutoZone sells it for 140 or something like that) so I left and went to blaggs on main street turns out the wires were lose on my battery and Thats it Im never going to another firestone again all they want to do is upcharge and do the least amount of work possible

Lower prices than at dealers. Competitive tire prices. Usually do not recommend unnecessary repairs, except for perhaps a couple of times.

Fixed my alignment NTB messed up, story goes the NTB on n tarrant parkway put tires on my car and checked and adjusted alignment. Well on the way home i am having to hold the wheel slightly right to go straight, ntb tried to say my sai angle could not be adjusted and was out of spec, but they show everything else in spec. So i go to a different NTB closer to my job today and was told appointments 3 hours from now have priority over me standing at the counter and they could not do it today. (Shop was empty, techs standing around) then the store manager proceeds to cuss at me and tell me not to return when i state this is not the first issue i have had with NTB but will be the last, after spending thousands there over a few years on various cars. Anyways call around, this firestone was up the road and could get me in in under an hour, took the car there and got it pulled in in 50 minutes as promised. After they completed the alignment, i notice every spec was green in the after chart and many where red in the before. And whats even worse for NTB is firestone was able to set everything within manufacturer specs no problem. Even the sai angle, so NTB will be losing a loyal customer, and this firestone did a great job. Thanks

If you know what you need done, this place is good. They tend to find more things to repair when you take your car in, which is a little concerning.

Went for oil change and normal routine checks like tire pressure, brakes etc. Left with only new oil. They left my old oil filter on didnt check any tires even after telling them I had a slow leak and didnt top off any fluids. Terrible customer service too. Sales guy told me use another firestone if I didnt like the way he ran his store after I pointed out everything they missed.

I would like to advise people to stay away from this location. The first time I went there to get new tires I had the coupon so I could purchase tires at the price they pay just $1 more. In an addition to that I could also have 15% taken off any service. Joe, the GM, shows me the pricing on the tires I chose and I taught he used the coupon pricing. At that point everything seemed fine so I left the car and went home. There I receive a call from them saying that I needed my brake fluid flushed and a new tie rod. Both of which cost me over $500. Mind you, brake fluid regularly costs around $10 at the most and the tie rod usually costs around $20-$30. With them I had to pay $20 for the fluid. $70 for that service $136.99 for the tie rod and over $100 for that service. I was in such a hurry to have my car fixed that I didnt mind that pricing. After the phone call I started to do some research on the tires and saw that he actually charged me more than the price listed on their website. When I picked up my car, I forgot to mention that to them. On my way home I saw that my car would steer to the left, even though I just got an alignment from them. I bring the car back and they said they would take a look at it ASAP. About 45 minutes go by and I see that nobody has even gone close to my car so I go back to ask Joe how much longer it would take. He said that he would actually help me his self. All he did was tell me that it was from my bent frame, while he was just standing there. He did not go out to check on my car. This is when I remember about the pricing and asked him why I was charged more than the website price. He could not keep eye contact after that. He didnt honor the coupon and gave me the excuse that the price they charge for tires isnt much more than what they pay for it. Really? A business not up charging for tires but they do everything else. I dont think so! Then I asked him why the 15% was only applied to the smallest service amount. He fixed that and gave me some money back. From that day I knew I couldnt trust them. Now, ten days later, my 2 front tires blow out so I am forced to bring it back because they were still on warranty. The day it was dropped off, I went in and the guy asked me when I would like it be ready by and I told him that day. No call from them all day. I figured they would call in the morning because they were busy do I didnt worry to much. This morning I get a call from Joe again trying to tell me the car needs $800 in repairs again. Even over the phone he couldnt keep a straight story. At first he told me that something punctured my tire, so I asked why BOTH of my tires went out if that were the case. Then he went on to tell me other reason for my tires going out. Then I went on to ask him if they figured out what was leaking from my car that the blow outs caused. He then told me they havent gotten to look at it so they werent sure why. All the while keep trying to blame me for the tires blowing out. I just told him that I would go in and take a look my self. When I get, I spoke with a service writer didnt know what was going on so he went over my paperwork. Now on that paperwork was the statement of what was leaking from my car. This is the same paperwork as the one Joe was looking off of. So when I ask the service writer why Joe said nobody checked the leak out, he said that Joe wasnt at work the day before to know. If this guy is the general manager of the store, why wouldnt he understand from that paperwork that they did check the leak? Just do many lies from them. In the end, I just dont believe theyre an honest business. All they are after is your money. Theyll over charge you for small faults with the car but wont state your bigger problem. And horrible customer service from the GM. Dont get me wrong about Firestone, I use to go to another location and I felt they actually took care of me.

I went for a Oil Change in this fire stone in Feburary 2013, as I travel alot on highways and needs frequent Oil changes. These people are probably the biggest crooks I ever met I will not go to any Firestone from now onward. These people charge me full amount and put 1.5 quart Less Oil. I dont know how much damage it done to my car engine. If i Didnt come to know at the other place for oil change on March 31 and after that I personally inspected the car if there is leak but there was none.I dont know if they were careless or cheating me but I wont recommend Firestone to other people.
