My first car buying experience at Swickard Honda was absolutely terrific, all thanks to Alyssa! I messaged them about specific used vehicle and Alyssa got back to me back right away, answered all my questions and was completely transparent about all aspects of the vehicle. I drove in from out of town and she had everything set up and ready to go as I requested. It just took a couple of hours and she even scored me a better interest rate which I didn’t think was possible! Alyssa saved me money and I definitely appreciate it. Thank you, Alyssa! Alyssa was our salesperson. She was excellent! We bought a Honda CR-V hybrid, and traded in a 2004. So we had a huge learning curve. Alyssa has been extremely patient and helpful in teaching us all the new features. We have had two training sessions so far. Alyssa is very knowledgeable, friendly, personable, and not pushy. I want to start off by saying my sales person Nan was AWESOME!!! My husband and I went to check out a Jeep that we had seen online. I decided to get myself a car for my birthday and was having a tough time finding my perfect car. I stumbled upon Swickward Honda and was greeted instantly by Sergio. I have always been skeptical of dealerships, taught never to trust a car salesman, and the staff at Swickard Honda has changed my perspective entirely. The staff set me up to meet with Mark. I went in for the 2018 Toyota 86 which I bought, and it had some body work that needed to be done. They were able to take care of it for me. AMAZING car, amazing customer service. I was so confident in my purchase and experience with them that I went back a few days ago for my second vehicle, a Jeep. Again I worked with Mark. He spent hours with me on the lot making sure I was completely satisfied with the car I chose and didnt hesitate to pull up multiple vehicles for me. He also told me to bring my puppy in, and the WHOLE team gave him some love while I was there, and even walked him around while I was signing my paperwork. This team and Mark have gone above and beyond to make sure I have an amazing experience each time I am in the dealership from finding me the right vehicle, servicing them and following up a week later to make sure things are going well. After driving my soccer mom minivan from brand new in 2005 to 249,000 miles in 2021 with the youngest kid aged 23, I was FINALLY ready to upgrade.Jess helped me to find a new to me Ford Escape with all the features I wanted without any pressure. I usually DESPISE purchasing vehicles, but Jess made it easy. I was pre-approved for financing and was in and out of the dealership in 3 hours.HIGHLY recommend!

Excellent buying experience. Jess was amazing to work with and not the pushy salesman type at all, which was appreciated. We had a check engine light come on within days of purchasing and everything was handled nicely. Jess didnt hesitate to have us bring it back in, Summer was wonderful to work with in regards to scheduling and getting a loaner car. Everyone in the service department was great to work with and they got the issues fixed quickly. I would definitely recommend this dealership for purchasing and service.

This might be the best Honda branch I’ve ever used. All the others seem to have multiple flaws, complete with unreasonable rates. For some reason, Swickard is more affordable, not to mention that the service is kind of outstanding. The environment here is focused yet totally chill. They also have a great waiting area with free WiFi. I’m a digital nomad these days so it’s kind of like Disneyland here for me.

Just took home an amazing 328i sportwagon from Swickard. Nervous/excited for this experience but Alyssa was incredible making the whole paperwork process super smooth. Very friendly dealership overall and happy with the final result. Thank you again!

I will add to several reviews that once they sell you a car they are no longer interested in helping you! First off, the car wasnt ready for us to take home the day we bought it, we were told it would be 2 or 3 days. Ten days later we finally got to pick it up. Within an hour of driving it we noticed a clunking sound. We tried for 3 days to get someone to tell us what to do, the sales associate kept saying he would call us back but never did. He just kept blowing me off saying the inspection passed. Finally someone told us to bring it to the service center. Turns out the tires, that they installed, werent seated properly and were rubbing against the car! There were also lug nuts missing. At first they acted as if they were going to charge me for giving me a broken car! I would never go back here! Im just glad we didnt get in an accident because of their shoddy work.

Honda service called me in for two airbag recalls. Shortly after my airbag light comes on. Ive had this car for 8 years and have torn it down to the frame and rebuilt it (years ago). I keep it running and in good shape. All of a sudden when they start messing with things, lights come on. It is what it is and Im fine with things going wrong. But then they have the gall to charge me a $160 diagnosis fee... what?! They break it and now charge me to diagnose it and fix it. Insane! Avoid this place like the plague. Its only good for oil changes for brand new cars.

We had an unexpected trip to the Portland area looking for a vehicle, and happened to find them on the Honda dealer page while we were in the area.We worked with Sergio, who was fantastic. He had a very genuine personality and didn’t make us feel pressured in any way. Swickard was our second stop out of 4 dealerships on our hunt for our next vehicle. We avoid buying cars at dealerships but we had no other option this go around and we were so pleasantly surprised. We got there 20 minutes before closing and ALYSSA RAMIREZ was the biggest part of why our experience was so good. I loved my experience at the Swickard Honda dealership from beginning to end! Not one person made me feel pressured. Which was very important to me. I felt welcomed from the minute I stepped in the door and everyone treated me well. I only test drove the CR-V because I knew it was a great car. They have excellent sales people and this dealership is better than any of them in Gladstone. I visited quite a few. I left on a Friday with no car and no decision then came back on Sunday to get my new car! It was overall an absolutely great buying experience!

Excellent service at Swickard Honda!! Brought my older car in without an appointment for an oil change and transmission oil flush. It was quite busy, so I was planning to come back with an appointment, but with help from Dan and Russ they were able to fit my car in for service that same day. Not only that, it was done in under 2 hours! With how busy they were I was not expecting same day service and certainly not that quickly. My car is running great and Ill definitely be bringing it back here for needed services in the future.

We just bought a Honda 2021 HRV here and George was an exceptional salesman. He made us feel incredibly comfortable and took the time to address all of our questions and concerns along the way. Im not the easiest human to work with buying a car because Ive been taken advantage of by other dealerships before when I wasnt in a good position to negotiate. Worst customer service! They were great and attentive while buying a vehicle. Following the sale of the vehicle, we received nothing but the run around trying to get reimbursed for the extended warranty. Called the GM who promptly transferred my call to another extension (which never picked up). Extremely frustrated by the lack of follow through. Have called and stopped in multiple times with no one willing to accept responsibility to assist the customer. Would not recommend.

Didnt have the greatest experience. contacted them about a car we were interested in after talking to them through the phone about it they told us we can come look at it but cant test drive it because they were missing a certain part for it... which was okay but we came from Vancouver all the way to there and when we arrived the guy couldnt find the key for it.. so we looked around at other cars to see what else there would be and didnt find anything we liked besides the car we specifically went over there to see. The guy who helped us said they would keep in contact with us about it since it needed a part and a few days passed without hearing from them and I look back online and they sold it....

Daniel was enjoyable to work with as well as the other staff than we met. I got exactly what I was looking for and I am happy with the deal that we made. The only drawback was the offer to add on car maintenance at the great reduced price of yikes a lot of extra $$$$. If it would have been a little more reasonable I might have just paid for it without adding it on to the amount to be financed, no one should want to finance a maintenance package if it means adding $50 a month to your payment or extending your loan at a higher interest rate for it. Other than the usual stress of making a car purchase it was relatively painless and I would recommend making a purchase from this dealership!

Service department is excellent. I have interacted with Mark the service advisor, James the GM, and Don the shop foreman. All interaction exceeded my expectations. Each showed a very genuine concern about my experience there. Great experience!! My wife and I recently purchased a new family vehicle from Swickard Honda. We had a number of different vehicles we were interested in and by the time we got to Swickard we had already been to three other dealerships test driving cars. So by the time we got to Swickard our patients was wearing thin. I hadn’t even made it to the door and was greeted by Andrew a very pleasant salesperson. I told him the three vehicles we wanted to look at and within just a couple minutes he had them pulled for us to look at. Before we went on a drive he talked about the features and helped familiarize us how to use the features. We ended up getting a great car a great price. We loved our Honda buying experience at Swickard! I had come in with my granddaughter a couple weeks earlier as she bought a new Civic Hatchback. As we waited for her car to finish detailing, I looked around at what was available. Liking what I saw (nice cars that were reasonably priced), my husband and I decided to do business with them. They worked with us on purchase price and treated us well on our trade-in.Our salesman, Danny, was very accommodating, polite, and helpful. Before we left he gave us a short class in operating the technology. We are 73 and 75 and it was very helpful information. Loving our new CRV.

I bought a used car that was not ready for me to drive off the lot, when I looked at the car, a sales manager came over to talk to us and assured me that if I purchased the car they would have it ready for me in a week. I bought the car thinking I would then be able to pick it up sometime next week. I got an update from the sales person a few days later saying it wouldn’t be ready till a little later than expected. I was okay with it, as it was still around a week and a half, then the weekend when I was supposed to pick it up, I was told there was a delay and they’d update me soon, I was expecting a follow up maybe with a new expected date, but no one followed up, I needed the car by the end of the second week after I purchased it, because I was trying to sell my current car. I spent 4 days trying to get a hold of someone to give me information because my sales rep wasn’t answering my calls or emails. I gave up because no one at the dealership was helping me, and then my sales rep finally reached out to tell me they had finally gotten the parts needed and the car was being worked on, this was by the day I needed to have the car because I was selling my old one. 5 days after that I reached out to my sales rep to see if there have been any updates on when the car will be ready, and I did not hear back from her, so I reached out to a General Sales Manager and they too did not reply to my request to get update on the vehicle. It’s been almost FOUR WEEKS since I purchased a car that I was told would be ready in a week and I still don’t have it.If I would’ve known it was going to take this long I wouldn’t have purchased the car here.While Everyone treated me well when I was there to purchase the car, the customer service I’ve been getting while I am waiting for my car has been horrible, no answers, no follow up, no consideration for the fact that I was trying to sell my car. I obviously am not expecting the car to be ready as soon as I call them, but the lack of consideration to give me updates or return my calls/emails so that I can make arrangements really left me with a bad experience at this dealership. Also I chose to write this review after attempting to contact a general sales manager and receiving no follow up.

I’m losing my trust in Honda in Gladstone since the new ownership. I called to check if they had any oil change specials. When formerly Town and Country Honda they always had great oil change specials including buy one get one! When I called I was told $59.95 for full synthetic oil change which included the filter and a car wash. I confirmed the price online after calling in to schedule my appointment when the receptionist Melissa quoted me $48.31 ???? When I went in I was told by Brian $69.95 I asked why when I was quoted and I confirmed online that it was $59.95 He said he would give me that price. On my receipt it stated competitors coupon minus $10.00There was no competitors coupon.To me this is false advertising to have an online ad showing a specific price only to have it jacked up once you arrive for your appointment. To some customers $10 is nothing but to some retired customers it matters. The car wash is a really nice perk but for those who don’t dispute the increase for the oil change once you arrive for your appointment then the car wash isn’t actually free! I’m a long term customer and I sure miss Town and Country Honda.

I was concerned about the dash board indicator that appeared intermittently recently. I called the dealership service desk and was quickly able to schedule a appointment. My Service Advisor Austin Tacla was able to quickly access the situation. Austins knowledge of the situation and quickly had my situation remedied. I wanted to be able to leave a positive review after this experience was over but after weeks of no response from the manager, I feel we have no choice but to share our story.We went to the dealership with two cars in mind and after driving them, landed on Vehicle A, signed the papers and drove it home. The following afternoon around 3pm my husband received a phone call from a different salesperson saying that there was a mistake and the vehicle we bought had been sold to someone else earlier the previous day. We were told someone would be by to pick it up later in the day and return it to the dealership. We were obviously confused and upset, but figured we couldnt really do anything and let a salesperson (we had never met) come take Vehicle A away.We spoke to the sales manager Bruce on the phone and he said hed like to make it right and we could come look at what else they had on the lot. After some thought we decided to go with Vehicle B that we test drove and decided against the previous day. We had decided against is because of the high mileage but Bruce threw in a warranty that put our mind at ease, having such a high mileage used car.3 days later the engine light came on and back to the dealership we went. They fixed the problem at Swickard, but we were uneasy and wondered if we made a bad choice. 10 days after that we had the vehicle looked at at a Jeep dealership in our town (30 mins from the Swickard) to make sure if was fixed properly. It was a free inspection, so it wasnt even super involved. The Jeep dealership said the radiator was leaking and needed to be replaced. We gave them our warranty info and they said we needed to talk to the Swickard because it was possibly a pre existing issue. THIS IS ALL BEFORE WE MADE OUR FIRST PAYMENT. Fast forward to today (2 weeks after having it looked at by the Jeep dealership) and we cannot get Bruce on the phone. Weve emailed and called multiple times. Frustrated is an understatement.

Great service so far! They called my extended Warranty company and had inspectors come out and ok the repairs. They were very diligent on arranging a test drive to be ready when I arrived and were very communicative answering the many questions I had after seeing the car online. The test drive process was great, and felt no pressure as I talked through the vehicle. Weve used Swickard Honda in the past for our 2007 CRV and my.husband was very impressed with their service, they were great! I brought our 2020 CRV for our first oil change. I wasnt able to get a complimentary loaner, but they did a great job and had my carfinished and washed in the.time frametheyd said it would take. Ivan was great. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Prompt efficient courteous service. Was given a pre-service estimate and once they determined what the problem was with my air conditioning, they called with a further estimate and an explanation of what they would do. Explained everything thoroughly so I could make an informed decision. It is never pleasant to have car problems but the service I received guaranteed I will be a faithful client in the future.

The service department at Swickard Honda absolutely went above and beyond! Multiple adjacent components of the AC system had failed, and Swickard Honda negotiated with Honda to fully cover the repairs under warranty. Meanwhile, they gave us a lovely loaner car to drive while ours was in the shop. Overall, we couldnt be happier and will continue to use Swickard for all our car maintenance needs.

We talked to George Safadi the day before going to Swickard Honda to see what unlocked Instant price price would be for the 2020 CR-V that was posted on -line. I got a quote that I felt was a good price. We went into Swickard Honda the next day and George took us to CR-V and let us take it for a test drive. George was instrumental in us purchasing this Honda as he also was our salesperson on a prior purchase . George had us set up for the paperwork with Financial, to eliminate waiting. This was another good experience at Swickard Honda with George answering all our questions and showing us some of the features on car.

It was easy to schedule my service appointment on a day/time that worked for me. My service advisor was helpful, kept me informed of progress, and also reviewed any additional recommended services with me to get my input before proceeding. Beautiful building (seriously, the place is HUGE!). They looked to be busy when I arrived, but either customers didnt remain on site to wait, or we were just spaced apart nicely, so it didnt feel cramped or crowded. Will be back!

Came in for an oil change and left under an hour which is essential when you have little ones. excellent friendly and fast service. And also, thanks for having a kids room!

Great experience. I spoke with Evelyn prior to coming in to the dealership, I explained what I could afford and how I didnt feel I could get a deal after speaking with other dealerships. She was able to follow through with what she promised and Alyssa ensured completion of the sale. Alyssa was very helpful in keeping my 3 year old engaged and even offered to grab dinner for him! She went as quickly as she could. I also have a severe hearing loss and she was patient with using a transcribe app. Harry was great as well - quick and also great with my kid-had him giggling and engaged. Great team!

I financed a new car and traded in my old one and combined my loans. My old loan still got taken out when it shouldn’t have because they are combined. So $200 was pretty much stolen from me and I’ve contacted you guys several times and no one seems to want to help! This is definitely not okay. I just got off the phone with the occu that’s with my loan and said that you guys pretty much lied to me and screwed me over. You guys like stealing from people in need?

Everything was smooth and easy from arrival to leaving. A little up sale on the add on services (extended warranty, pre-paid maintenance, etc), but that is just part of the process. Had Costco price going in so price was set. Overall good experience and friendly/helpful staff (they were even ready to drive my other vehicle home for me). Based on my experience, I would recommend them if you are interested in a new vehicle.

I bought a 2018 tacoma sr5 back in february of this year. The service was good, actually the service was really friendly and not pushy, providing a comfortable and laid back buying experience. Though it took them over 4 hours to complete the deal, I havent had any problems with the vehicle and had a good buying experience overall.My problem is after the fact involving toyota care paperwork. I had previously contacted Swickard 4 times about missing toyotacare paperwork and gotten the same reply their team would look into it and contact me back.Today I went to get it serviced and I was informed the toyotacare expired a year ago. It seems that there was never anything filed for the toyotacare to begin with?, given the expiration happening before my ownership. Why wouldnt swickard let me know about that?I would give these guys 5 stars, and maybe this issue can be rectified to justify that action. I do still recommend them over other dealerships, I just urge you to not make the same mistake, and limber your writing hand, youll be autographing alot.

A little slow but thats to be expected when buying a car otherwise amazing. Daniel was an amazing employee who has sold 3 cars to my family. 2 in 1 day and 1 to me. He was super welcoming and the car has been amazing for how long Ive had it.

Had to go back twice to sign paperwork to finalize the purchase of my lease. Got a great price but didn’t like having to wait so long. Don’t get a car there after the detailing crew leaves because you have to wait a day or two to get your car detailed

Always thorough. Get you in and out as promised. Will suggest services to keep your vehicle in top condition, but never pressure you. My spouse and I both drive Honda’s and we rely on Swickard to keep us on the road trouble free.

Swickard Honda Has higher prices than other Honda dealers but they have the best salesman Ive ever met his name is Jonathan Klein it must have been a 100ﾟ out that day and the guy ran around the whole parking lot several times trying to help us find the car we wanted if you go to this Honda dealership ask for Jonathan Klein you wont regret it.

This would have been a 5 star experience and review when I originally purchased my 2019 Subaru Forester a month ago, but their customer service since then has been absolutely awful. I have not been able to get ahold of anyone or get a call back from anyone regarding the title of the car I traded in. No managers or employees in charge of titles or accounts have responded to my numerous voicemails and no one is ever available to speak to me.As soon as any salesperson who picks up hears I’m not buying something and am a previous customer I am forwarded to different voicemails and none of my calls are ever returned. I never leave bad reviews but maybe I’ll finally get a call back now? So frustrating that I spent $33k there and am given the run around when I just need one question answered.

I went into the Gladstone Honda because I saw a Honda Accord that had low miles and a good price. I was immediately greeted by the general manager and he was very helpful and inviting. The Accord that I wanted to see that was online had sold but the sales person that was helping me found a comparable Accord. I ended up purchasing the first Accord they showed me. Overall I had a great experience and I recommend this location to anyone wanting great service and really good deals.

The Swickard service department was ready and prepared to put splash guards on our 2021 Honda CRV hybrid. The car is new and we still have questions about the car. Before beginning the installation, Daniel took us to the car and answered all of our questions, showing us how to operate the buttons, etc, that we didn’t understand. He made sure we knew where to wait, social distanced, and came to get us when the car splash guard installation was complete. The car was washed and an multi-point inspection was completed, without a charge.

UPDATE: NOW that the transaction is over and we have received the paperwork from the finance company, I am changing my review. We were told that my sons credit union came in with an offer just as we were saying no to the finance options being offered to us. Turns out... its a different credit union. They were also showing me rates much higher claiming to be Clackamas Federal Credit Union but wgile they were in the back, I looked at the website and found they were lying. We were going to leave but just then Clackamas COINCIDENTALLY accepted the loan at a decent interest rate. Ok...whatever, we will play the game. Today, the loan paperwork comes from a different credit union, OCCC and we find out that he could have made selections at the dealership (that were never offered to us) that could have saved another .50 a percent off his interest rate. Very disappointed. Why do all dealerships lie? Its just so unnecessary. Now we have to switch the lienholder on his insurance. No BIG deal but COME ON! I was going to go to them for the convertible I have been wanting to buy, but now I will just work with a broker. Very sad.We had a great experience with Nan, after not being treated well at another lot down the street. No high pressure sales tactics, no baloney, just easy peasy! We took our young adult son to buy his first car from a car lot and to help him with his first ever loan and everything went so smooth! She was truly great to work with and I kept her info for myself as I tend to buy a vehicle annually.

Customer for life. My fuel pump went out on the way to work and I immediately turned around and headed to Swickards service department. Austin was the first to greet me. Admittedly, I was still shaky from trying to merge on the freeway without the ability to quickly accelerate so I was pretty scattered when I arrived. Austin jumped in my car and recognized there was something wrong. He got me in a loaner vehicle and back on my way to work. He stayed in regular contact with me while my car was in the shop, especially given the needed part was on backorder and delayed. He advocated for the part to be covered under warranty even though it was ten miles over warranty. Every time I saw Austin, he was hustling to help. At one point, I thought the loaner vehicle was having issues and brought it in. He took it around the block and explained how to work with it. When I picked up my car, he helped me swap my kids car seats back in. He was always moving, assisting, and solving problems. And I received fantastic customer service.

The customer service from the entire team was amazing.The car that I wanted was the car that I I drove home in. Even the insurance company that They referred gave me an amazing price. I wanted to stay within my budget and they Truly respected that. I highly recommend this dealership 100%.

I took in my 2019 CR-V for an oil change and software update for the Infotainment system that was occasionally freezing the center screen, beeping, displaying the brightness setting, and going completely black. The oil change was fine, no problem. I had taken a video of the Infotainment system the last time that it acted up but the service agent said that they would need to keep the car until they could see the problem for themselves. Since this problem seems to be random, sometimes going days or weeks between episodes, I was not willing to leave the vehicle with them indefinitely as they requested. I called a different Honda dealer and they were willing to do a system update based on my video, something that I had asked Swickard to do but they refused. I will not be returning there for service nor will I recommend them.

The staff were friendly and informative and didnt pressure me at all. Andrew was amazing to work with! He helped me make my decision without rushing or pressuring me, and he explained all the finance options to me clearly. A great company to work with!

Back in 2017, I bought my little Honda Civic and about 2 weeks ago, I went back in to see what deals there were and I fell in love with my now new 2021 Civic Sport Hatchback!
