The dentist got me in same day for a broken filling, and the work he did was excellent! He took time to describe what was wrong and how he would fix it, and he showed with the work he did why the office is so highly acclaimed!

I was not disappointed with their dentistry services so they get 2 stars instead of 1. I went to my appointment in July and they notified me when I arrived that they dont take my insurance anymore. They explained that I would have to pay for the visit and they would submit the bill to my insurance who would reimburse me. They also said they would cover anything the insurance didnt reimburse to me. I went back to get my $177 and they said they cannot reimburse me and no one should have told me that. Shame on me for believing/trusting what was said. I get that. However, bigger shame on them for not following through on a promise. A truly ethical business would explain all the possible expenses I might incur to ensure the customer was treated well. Also, they should have called me before the appointment to notify that they dont take my insurance anymore.

The front desk staff was personable and friendly. The hygienist was nice, skilled and professional. The Doctor was very accommodating and a real gentleman. He saw I was 8 months pregnant and made sure my chair was not to far back to save me from any discomfort. It made me feel at ease, it was at that moment I realized I was in good caring hands.

Yesterday I went in the office for my first visit and I had a great experience. Pam the dental hygienist was so nice and cleaned my teeth, she answered all my questions and was very informative. Definitely will be coming back to this dentist for my regular cleanings and anything else needed. I’ll be recommending this dentist to everyone :)

Office is outstanding, staff and doctors top notch. Disappointed that they are now out of network for insurances. In house insurance offered, but other policies are more in line with my personal needs.

BEST DENTIST IVE EVER HAD! Dr. Schiffenhaus is so kind and excellent at making you feel comfortable and cares so much about your teeth. He is a true master of crowns. Ive even had him fix older crowns because his crowns are made with love of his gift. All the ladies are wonderful addition to his office. And the cleaning are Amazing.

If I could leave a negative star I would! They pulled a tooth from my son without numbing him first and told my wife she had a cavity when she didnt. What a garbage place! I wouldnt go here if it was free! Dont waste your time.

We absolutely love Dr. Schiffenhaus and his staff! They see our entire family and even my 8 year old loves going in to see them. They are fast, kind, and Dr S. Is keenly attentive to detail! We have had several small “dental emergencies” and they have fit us right in that day. We would recommend Softouch dental to anyone!

The Doctor and staff were so kind and informative throughout the whole process. It is incredibly apparent that your comfort and understanding is their primary concern. Very transparent about procedure and what to expect. Talks to you throughout the process and continually asked for your feedback on your comfort level. Set up a plan with you on how you would like to proceed and expressed primary concerns and goals to your overall dental health. Very trustworthy and controlled methods. Will definitely continue to use for my dental care moving forward and recommend highly to others.

The Hygenist Coleen is wonderful! She always is thorough and educates me in my dental care. Dr. May was kind and took a lot of time with me. I learned from him also. I always have a positive experience at Softouch. Great staff all around and the best dental care and treatment!

Front desk staff are super friendly and hygienists are amazing!! If have an appointment you get seen right away which is nice. Dentists are friendly as well however would ask that if youre going to complain about a patient, please dont do it in the reception area in front of other patients. Just doesnt seem professional. All in all though a great place!

I drove from Tucson to get dental work done with Dr. Schiffenhaus and his stellar team. Im slightly phobic and very picky with who I let treat me, but I was relaxed the whole visit and amazed by the knowledge and skill of Dr. Schiffenhaus. His assistant, Terah, was equally amazing and helped cosemetically design an overlay that blended seamlessly in my mouth. Just wish he was slightly closer but its defiinetly worth the drive and I will be coming back for any future work. Thank you guys!

Very nice ladies who take care of you in the front and the back . The doctor was great didnt push things I really didnt need, I really hate going to the dentist as many may agree, but going there was a nice experience. It is so important to keep your teeth healthy so go get those check ups twice a year as you get older you will be glad you did.

I am beyond terrified at the dentist... But Pam and the Doc make me feel at ease. Pam the hygienist does a great job caring for my teeth and giving helpful positive advice. Doctor Steven remembers Im terrified and always makes me feel comfortable. He doesnt push for unnecessary procedures. He makes a dental plan I can handle, which for me is one thing at a time. He did a crown for me. I was so scared. He was incredible. Paid attention to my comfort level the whole time and talked me through it as well as chatted while he worked which kept me distracted. He made the tooth right there in the office. This dental office is the ONLY place I will go and I HIGHLY recommend it.

Being so sensitive in my gums, a deeper crack in my tooth detected on X-ray was meticulously filled and reinforced which produced tremendous relief. The treatment was so gentle and painless. His assistant, Dominique was attentive to my comfort needs the entire hour that Dr Schiffenhaus worked on my teeth. Dr Steve Schiffenhaus is by far the best dental doctor around. I travel all the way from Carefree to have him treat me.

This place is really good, they are working with me to take care of a crown i need even after i met my deductible. The only drawback was as I was waiting to be seen, they had me do my annual teeth cleaning but did not mention to me before it that I would be paying a lot of money out of pocket for it till after it was done. Just a heads up to the staff to let patients know up front of what they will pay before anything is done and not after, to avoid surprises.

Fit me in for an urgent appointment right away and got taken care of my problem in no time. Great staff, friendly, helpful and professional. Highly recommend!

Pam and Colleen are such pleasant friendly hygienists l have always enjoyed going to SofTouch Dental. After years with times of frequent change of dentists, It is great to have a permanent dentist that works well with the others and offers latest technology and doing his best.

I would like to thank the staff for their quickness in getting our dental issues taken care of before my husbands heart surgery. I definitely dont recommend this place as for as affordably! They charged over 2400.00 for temporary dentures! Go to Affordable Dentures! This place is way too expensive!

Extremely friendly staff and great doctor. The doctor explained my procedure thoroughly and took time to answer all my questions. This was my first visit and I am glad I took a chance because I just found my permanent dentist.

I went in to have and examination, found that I had some work that needed to be done. The dentist himself asked if I wanted to do the work that day knowing that he would have to stay late! I said yes. He was friendly and super nice and kind and gentle through the whole entire procedure am so extremely happy I had the work done quickly and my mouth feels better! I felt welcomed from the first moment I stepped in their office, from the Front Desk ladies, to Dr Schiffenhaur, to the assistants and Hygienist Colleen.I was comfortable enough to ask for a dental cleaning, and was fortunate that they had time for me to fill out the paperwork, and had a full work up with their $49 Special.A full mouth series of X-rays, Periodontal Charting, photos of the tooth that was bothering me, so I could see what the problem was in real time, and a thorough cleaning.Its been 2 years since Id had my last cleaning, and Colleen did an excellent job, with no discomfort!Im proud to say that Ive found my new dental office, and will recommend them to all my friends.

Fantastic service! The moment I walked in I felt welcome! The front staff breaks the mold of just doing their job, they genuinely enjoy it! That was a great start to my appointment, and the hygienist kept the momentum going :) it went well enough that I didn’t even mind when I was told I had a cavity that had cracked and needed to be fixed... I guess there is a first for everything. Excellent experience. I’ll be looking forward to my next appointment in 6 months :)

Our family has been going to Softouch Dental for several years. The staff has always been very good, kind, and accommodating for scheduling. The customer service is excellent and it always feels like a welcoming and family atmosphere. We are looking forward to taking our 2 year old for her first check up soon. Pam is our favorite hygienist, she is very gentle in the cleaning and so thoughtful and caring.

Terrible experiences. My little brother had gone in for a simple cleaning only, but then was charged for X-rays he didn’t ask for and wasn’t told he’d be paying for. I made an appointment which they forgot to schedule even though I had received a confirmation. We called back to cancel a future appointment and they hung up on us after we expressed some of our frustrations on their service. Definitely rethink choosing SofTouch dental.

The office staff were beyond my expectations. The doctor was polite, funny, and genuinely showed that he cared about your dental health. Went in for a root canal nervous as could be. It only took him an hour to do the full operation. 8 hours later no pain of any kind. I highly recommend this place if you ever need any kind of dental work done.

If youre looking for a good dentist, youve found it! This is by far the friendliest, cleanest dental office I have ever been to.Dr. Steven Schiffenhaus took over about 1/3 of the way through fixing all of my teeth. When he took over, he changed the office hours and I had to start taking time off work to continue using this dentist office. At first, I wasnt sure if that was worth it and started looking around... but after my first visit with Dr. Schiffenhaus, I decided it was worth the time off to get everything done. He explains everything you need to know in perfect detail, and was very gentle when working on my teeth. The rest of the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Seriously, i really have hangups with doctors and dentists, especially around the issue of costs. I was so pleasantly surprised with the pricing, but more importantly, the attitude. The Dr. Is concerned with costs, as well as comfort, and i swear, i barely felt the numbing shot.I changed dentistries due to a move, and I had been using the excuse that I was too far away from my dentist to go. I had a broken tooth and this dentistry got me in right away and made a filling the same day. Absolutely amazing service! The staff is wonderful and I would highly recommend these guys to anyone.

Great dental office, I have been coming here for 7 years now, it is very refreshing to see the same dr. Everytime i go in. I am sure i will spell it wrong but Dr. Schiffenhouse is a really down to earth guy that actually takes time with the patient and gets to know them.
