This doctor and her staff changed my life. I had five front crowns replaced by Dr. Kunthara. She is the best doctor I have ever seen and she has the best staff. Before my crowns looked old and worn and I didnt like to show my smile. Now I am so happy I can smile again and show off my beautiful white smile with my beautiful crowns. She did this in a timely manner and made sure my smile was ready before my trip! Thank you to Dr. Kunthara and staff, I will be back again soon and I highly recommend this doctor to everyone looking for GREAT work.

I have used Simon Dental in the past and always a great experience. Couple years later needed to get some root canal work done and found Simon Dental again. Dr Preetehy and her staff was wonderful and very gentle especially being my first experience. I would recommend them always.

5 stars for dedication. The night before she was leaving on a family trip, I had a temporary crown break off. She had me come into her office after hours to fix the problem right away. Was so grateful & impressed.

The entire team was kind and respectful. They took good care of my teeth even though I have to go back for some cavities to be filled. The dentist herself who cleaned my teeth kept nice conversation and didn’t do what some dentist do ( try and talk to you and keep their hands in your mouth then wonder why you dont answer ). They worked around my current medical condition and gave me good information and a great laugh. I’m most certainly going back to get those cavities dealt with!

My front teeth were so broken and chipped! Look at me now!! I am so excited to be able to actually SMILE!! Thank you thank you for bringing some JOY back to my life!! I will definatly be back for more 5 star work to be done!

I want to leave one that will be the most honest review I know how to make.This morning I called the office and the doctor answered.I was in horrible pain from a broken tooth I came into the office and was greeted by the most wonder lady ever. Very nice. And great at her job. Doctor comes in they do an X-ray. While the doctor was getting my scripts ready for me. I am told that the office is normally closed on Wednesdays and that when she took my call this morning knowing how much pain I was in. She and her staff came in just to help me.Wow what a great doctor and office staff. I’m blown away.Thank you for helping me out.

Let me start by saying this,Amazing Amazing amazing. !!!!Called on a wed ( holiday ) doctor answers says come in at 1:30. Got there she gave me meds and was told they would call once my insurance approved the tooth pull. Called on Tuesday because the pain was still bad. They got me in on Thursday and wow I can’t tell you how much I appreciated being treated like I mattered. Knowing my past horrible experience with my last dentist the doctor made sure I was fully numb and did not feel a thing. Everyone in the office was so great and really helped me. I will never go to another dental office besides this one.If you need an honest caring doctor come here I promise you you will end up feeling great.This is now less than 24 hours since having the tooth pulled and no pain at all.Thank you to everyone at Simon Dental.

Cavities and more cavities!? After moving to AZ, I came to this dental practice because it was the only one in the area that was open on Saturdays. First visit consisted of an x-ray exam and I was also provided with a list of procedures (necessary and optional) that had to be completed, as well as a summary of out-of-pocket costs. At the end I was told that I had 8 cavities. To me it was a great surprise since just 9 month ago my dentist, who I have been going to for 15 years, made sure to check all my teeth and complete all necessary work before my move. After the first visit, I came back 2-3 more times for cleaning and to fix the 8 cavities. For about 2-3 months my teeth were sensitive to either very hot or very cold liquids and they hurt when I bit down the wrong way on something hard, like candy or seeds in bread.6 months or so later, I came back for another visit and a cleaning. I was told I had 3 more cavities! Really!? 11 cavities in 1 year. I have never had such cavity issues in my life, so how come now!? After this, I decided to go to another dentist for a second opinion. Turns out that I had zero cavities! My teeth were in a good shape and I just needed a cleaning. Once I heard this and though about my prior experiences here, my trust in Simon Dental Care went out the window. It makes me wonder if the dentist truly works in the best interest of the patient or not...After several visits and couple hundred dollars out-of-pocket later, I am not too thrilled with my experience here. I see in some of the other reviews here that customers had similar issues as me. I must say though that the staff was friendly and I didnt have to sit around and wait for my appointments. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back here again.

I went here today for the first time and I must say my experience was great. The Dentist was very nice and informative. I was very impressed with the office manager Elizabeth. She was amazing! Very helpful and informative and made sure she explained my benefits to me. I will definitely be returning for my dental care.

Dr Kunthara has taken great care of me for nearly 4 years! Her new office is very modern and efficient. She has terrific office staff, Erica is awesome and is so organized. She goes through the billing process with me and makes sure I understand the charges. Griselda is very friendly and easy to talk to. She takes my mind off of things while Im at the dentist :) These 3 ladies will make your visit very smooth. I actually look forward to seeing the dentist again!

Pretty terrible experience today. Drove 20 minutes to get to the appointment and had told them about letting me know if I could be treated the same day when I submitted my appointment request. Pulled the same bull that many practices do where you’re told it’s possible to fit you in for treatment and I’m then told they have to do a consultation first. WTH. Waste of my time and screws up my time for the rest of the day.

Everyone in the office is incredibly professional and friendly, the time and care they took with me was fantastic. I had a root canal and then a few weeks later deep cleanings done. These visits were successful, informative and as comfortable as they possibly could be. Ill definitely be back for the continuation of my dental work.

Glad we came to Dr. Kunthara she saved me from my beige extraction today by advising us for root canal and see another dentist who can take care of my bridge without any removal . We are moving to her for our next dental cleaning appointments. She is sweet and had given me prescription for painkillers and antibiotics to help my bridge pain. Such a caring dentist❤️😇🌹

We were staying here for short term and just needed a cleaning. This place had the highest reviews so I decided to give them a chance. First they “required” my husband to get an X-Ray for an extra $100 even though he told them he didn’t want/need an X-Ray. Then the dentist was super rough with the cleaning and then showed my husband where there were 4 cavities. We’ve never been informed of these cavities before by other dentists so we were kind of confused, then after reading similar reviews it made sense. Please read all the other 1 star reviews to get an idea of what this place is really like.

First and foremost I want to say that this is an honest and truthful review of my experience!!On my 1st visit for several cavities I waited at least 45 to 1 hour for her (the dentist) to start on my fillings. When she finally came in, she would start on 1 tooth then after about 15 minutes she would leave me to go help other people that were also waiting to be seen. This is not only unprofessional but ridiculous!!!!!! It should also be noted that I HAD AN APPOINTMENT when she would return she would try and hurry so that she can head out again and work on other people. The worst part about it all is she wanted to try to do it WITHOUT local anesthesia. I said i wasnt sure about that but she did it anyway. immediately after feeling pain I asked her to put anesthesia. I had to come back despite not wanting to only because I had pain in 1 tooth that was not there before and nothing was done. She tried to make it seem as if it was my fault !!!!!!!!! This is by far the worst place Ive ever been with respect to a dentist.DO NOT COME HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!

Was in the area for a couple months and needed a routine cleaning. During my checkup, the dentist forcibly stabbed all of my back molars and told me I had three cavities, she insisted I needed to make another appointment to get fillings. I’ve had really good teeth my whole life and never a cavity, so I decided to get a second opinion from my main dentist. After taking multiple x-rays and examining my teeth, my main dentist could not find any cavities.Please please please avoid this place. Go somewhere else. Anywhere. I cannot recommend them, they did not have my best interest. They misdiagnosed me as having multiple cavities when I didn’t even have one.

Dr Kunthara did an amazing job with my wisdom teeth extraction. She and all of her assistants are so kind and professional. highly recommend!

Best dentist Ive ever had. For once in my life i have an enjoyable experience everytime. That doesnt even include the fact that she does the best work on your teeth Ive ever seen. She takes great care always perfecting her work taking the extra time to make sure you are satisfied with the result. They take great care all around even working with your insurance company to make sure you get the best price if you even have to pay because they made sure my insurance covered all my work. They treated me with so much respect even though technically i wasnt paying out of pocket. I will never go to another dentist again and i highly recommend if you need work done Simon dental care is the only choice you have if you care about your results.

I went here because I had a root canal started, that I could never afford to finish. The tooth was not capped. I knew it would crack one day, and had no choice but to wait. When it did I went to Simon Dental because I did not have a car and it was within walking distance. First off, she is REALLY ROUGH. I have never had an examination make me bleed before. Halfway through the extraction I noticed she was having issues. I pleaded with her to stop if she couldnt get the tooth out. She assured me she could. Instead she left a part of the tooth in, and it eventually pushed through the sides of my gums. So I had to go back a second time to have that fragment removed. There are no words to describe the agony. I was already afraid of dentists. This didnt help. She also tried to rip my bf off but telling him he had a dozen cavities, that 2 other dentists were not able to find. She is a horrible dentist, a liar, and will try and get as much money out of you as possible. Even if that means drilling and filling perfectly healthy teeth. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS.

By far the best dental care I have ever received from the front office and the Dr. Very quick, respectful and understanding. Im going back next week for more. (and the pumpkin cupcake hand soap in the bathroom smells wonderful) I will be recommending Dr. Kunthara to my friends and family!

I was googling for a dentist in 85210 and found this site. My experience with Dr. Kunthara was really great. She is an extremely friendly person. She took care of my cavities and I could not believe how easy and pain free it was. She was very nice and personable. Great service.

So far I’ve been to Simon Dental Care’s office on Ray Rd three times and every time makes me want to come back. The staff is friendly from top to bottom and have always made me feel welcome, comfortable and safe, this is incredibly important because I have a pretty bad fear of the dentist. Finally Dr. Kunthara is amazing! On my first visit, for bleeding gums, she immediately knew what the issue was after taking a one second glance at my teeth. Color me impressed. I call book an appointment. I get there and What a joke hard to find place i walk in and no one even at the front desk i hear people in the back on there lunch i call for help no one comes i wait for 5 min and they ignore me. Another few min pass peace out! are way more dental places who want my business!

If you have any dental anxiety or tooth sensitivity, do NOT go here.I came here when I needed some emergency dental work. The girl at the desk is very nice and got me in quickly. The doctor spotted some cavities while doing my repair and persuaded me to come back for an official exam. After the exam, I scheduled an appointment for my fillings.I waited at least 40 minutes for her to start on my fillings. When she finally came in, she wanted to try to do it without local anesthesia. I said OK but immediately after feeling pain I asked for numbing. She was very reluctant to stop even though I was in pain. After that filling was completed, she made me leave and schedule another appointment for the other fillings. They will find a way to make you come back over and over.And today the inital emergency repair she did on my tooth broke off. I will not be returning.

Dr. Kunthara treats me with great care, gives me lots of information regarding what further treatments I need, what they entail and reviews the cost. She is gentle and kind.

I have done dental work at this office, when they were at their previous location at Mesa. Dr. Preethy did a filling on one of my lower molars, which other dentists wanted to do a crown on, unnecessarily. I really like the fact that she is ethical, and does not try to upsell anything.

Im so glad that Simons dental care is open on Saturday . Her broken tooth was fixed perfectly n now she can go back to work on Monday.

Worst dentist office I have ever been to. Dental assistant wreaks of cigarette smoke so that’s pretty unpleasant when she’s leaning over your face and has hands in your mouth. The front desk staff is a nightmare. Charged me more than I should have been charged and said insurance would pay the claim and then I would get reimbursed. Well I had to call 3 times a week for 4 weeks only to learn that the front desk people filter out of there every day, and the dentist has no idea what’s going on. She didn’t realize I wasn’t yet paid back for a visit that occurred awhile ago. How can someone not know what’s happening with their staff? The whole office is really poorly organized. Save yourself a horrible experience and go somewhere professional.

Husband has been here multiple times for work. The dentist here never finishes the work and we always end up having to come back to finish it so she can fit in more appointments. Last time she stopped in the middle of a root canal and told him to go wait in the lobby so she can set up another patient. We came back in today so she can put the crown on and as soon as we checked in she left to go drop off her son somewhere. The receptionists are very nice and knowledgeable but the dentist herself is not very good at keeping her appointments.UPDATE: The dentist saw this review and called me to the desk to argue about what happened. She did this very loudly where all of the other patients could hear. She then tried to tell us she was doing us a favor by working on him even though we had a past due balance. Worst service ever. DONT GO HERE.

Cant thank them enough. Took husband in for 2 broken teeth which he wanted pulled. They got him in immediately and within 10 min they were gone and he was out of pain. He wasnt charged a crazy amount and we will definitely be back!

I Came in last week for a deep clean which Ive had done before. She said she didnt have time to do the whole mouth today (I was scheduled for a week) so we did the right side only - boy am I lucky.The numbing shots were super painful. The procedure was not much better - there was way more blood than ive ever seen! I was spitting blood for two days after the procedure!That was one week ago, and today Im still in terrible pain. I cant chew on that side and actually been losing sleep from it. Worst part is I was fine when I went in! This isnt normal. She also said I had nearly a dozen cavities and insisted I get them taken care of right away.I went to another dentist for a second opinion and to get the other side cleaned. She sad the tissue around my Maulers was damaged, and had gotten infected and thats why they are so inflamed and painful.Also she said I have NO cavities. Be careful people...
