I used to come here several years ago when I lived in the neighborhood. Since moving away I stopped getting my nails done. I recently started to again and traveled completely out of my way because I had never had a bad experience or bad manicure here, until now. I asked to do the dip powder, and it was very rushed and sloppy, my nails are uneven and bumpy, and my cuticles were never touched. I also asked for a pedicure and for them to be trimmed which was done, but they were never filed leaving it painful to wear tennis shoes because of the sharp corners left on my toe nails. Over the years I have referred countless people here because I thought the quality of work was the same, but I will no longer be doing so, and will no longer be coming back.

Lynn is amazing! I was STRUGGLING to find a nail tech worth the money. Theres nothing worse than paying for nails when you are not 100% happy with them . I came to her with the flattest set of nails that were done by another Gilbert nail salon 2 weeks prior. Lynn didnt need to do a new set to fix the other techs horrible nails. I have been here 2x and will never see anyone other than Lynn. Shes amazing

Be aware- most of the bad reviews on their Yelp are hidden under “not recommended”, so this place has a much worse rating than is advertised.I came in for a set of acrylics and was pretty disappointed with my experience. I showed a picture of a set of nails off of Pinterest, and the tech barely glanced at it before starting. The end result was very far off the picture. He seemed rushed and like he didnt want me there at all. He was also very aggressive with the file and left several cuts on the skin on the side of my nails. The whole time my nails were being done I felt really uncomfortable and unwelcome. Not to mention, I was charged $80 for a set of acrylics... wayyy overpriced for the very simple design and everyone else I know who has gotten acrylics there said they were charged around $60, so I felt like they took advantage of me as a new customer who wasnt familiar with the prices.

I got my nails done on Sunday 6/6. I was very excited to try a new place since my previous experiences had not been the best. Unfortunately, this place did not do any better.1st - wait time is inaccurate. I was told 30 minutes, ended up waiting an hour and 1/2.2nd - my nails were not painted all the way. The edges of some nails were completely missed.3rd - not only did they miss some spots, they overdid it on others. I have Gel polish on my skin that will mostly likely peel off since its lifted now.4th - the lady who did my nails cut me and didnt notice. I flinched when she sprayed my hand with alcohol but she didnt say anything. Just grabbed my hand and kept on working.Last but not least - my nails are not the same shape or size. I asked for her to file them down and square them but got this instead....

I absolutely love this place, this is my go to nail place. Lynn is the best nail tech; I absolutely love her. 💕

As a paying customer I believe my request should be honored. I went in for a full set and pedicure. The nail tech was the rudest guy I ever met he tried to demand I get gel nails I wanted a particular color that was not available in gel. He boldly said I will never do your nails again because you didnt do what I like. How do you treat a customer so mean?? He ignored other request but expressed how good of a tech he is, Arrogant and disrespectful. The entire staff need to be trained on friendliness.Clearly this place does not view their customers as a contribution to the business!

Ive been here a few times and the first time was good. The last experience has left me feeling confused. Ive had my nails done before. This was the first time I asked to just have my regular nail cover in acrylic. I keep them sport short for work. The woman wanted me to get gel. I told her I just wanted regular polish. She did that. Then she told me to sit somewhere else to let them dry. I sat there for over 10 minutes wondering if she was going to come put a top coat on my polish but she was already starting another persons nails and I ask one of them if I was finished or if a top coat was going to be applied. It seemed to create some confusion and a lot of talking. One woman touched my nails and said yes you are finished you can go. Another said she would do another coat of I want(that wasnt what I asked) I became so uncomfortable I told them I just wanted to go. When I left 5 of my nails had messed up polish and no top coat. Im not a professional in this department but I felt like I was being punished and I was charged 5 dollars less then having a full set with gel. I wont be back.

I visited Margarita Nails & Spa on Saturday for a pedi. I liked the atmosphere because it was lively but not too noisy. The salon was very busy - every chair was filled! I was greeted very courteously and they worked me into their appointments without delay. I had fun choosing my polish color from the walls full of a wide array of options. The pedicurist cleaned the bowl and added a fresh lining. My pedicurist asked what style I preferred and completed everything to my liking. The massage was especially relaxing! My toes look crisp and fresh for summer, and I found the $25 price to be an *excellent* value. I will definitely return to this salon, and next time Ill book an appointment since its such a popular spot!

They keep the space clean and their tool sanitized. The employees are friendly enough though they tend to talk amongst themselves in Korean, which I find rude. Ive asked that my cuticles not be cut like a chicken peaking at the ground because it ends up shredding the skin on my fingers later on and looks terrible and hurts, they dont listen or maybe they dont understand. That world be the only reason I dont return for a manicure in the future. The pedicures seem to be fine. The place is always busy, but they have been able to get me in.

I love how welcoming and friendly the staff are at this salon! I often feel shy going to get my nails done as a guy but this salon made me feel so comfortable. I highly recommend this salon for anyone, male or female! The services are excellent and the salon is clean, definitely coming back!

Got my “gel nails” peeling off and the lady who helped me was completely rude which btw I had a a appointment booked at 3 and didn’t take me in till 4 passing me around different techs. I was being indecisive about the color I wanted. The lady who was doing my nails made it completely obvious she was annoyed. This nail place is a joke..

I went and got my nails done yesterday and as soon I walked out I wasn’t happy with the way the color turned out. By the time I got home one of the nails started to lift I called and they said they could fix them for me. I went in today to get them fixed and they told me I had to get the same color if I wanted to change colors they would charge me. So I said that’s fine. I believe the color that was used was old because nails came out just as bad today. Yesterday and today I left with gel polish all over my hands and on top of that my nails are all different shapes. I appreciate them trying to fix them but they didn’t do a good job the second time around. They really didn’t seem to care if I was happy with my nails or not. If they see it’s a gel polish issue they shouldn’t make you get the same one. Old gel polish will still do the same.

I had not been to Margarita nails for years but I just went today to get my acrylic nails taken off. I’m not sure who the guy was who took off my nails but he did a terrible job. I usually try to take my own nails off at home, but it usually takes me a long time to take them off so I decided to get them done at the salon. I was very upset with what he had done. I was under the impression that he was going to soak off my nails and I had even confirmed with him that he was going to soak my nails yet he just used a nail tip and his own nail to take mine off. I didn’t question it because I don’t have any previous experience getting my nails taken off at the salon and I have really bad social anxiety. When he was cutting my nail tips off, he cut my skin to where it was bleeding and I said “ow!” all he said was “did that hurt” and “I’m sorry”, he also did a horrible job at filing the edges of my nails. I just wanted my nails taken off and he even said that it would be easy for him to do. I will not be coming back here and definitely do not recommend coming here.

I have been coming here for 9 years and have had nothing but GREAT experiences with the staff. Jerry is great as well as Lyn (10/10) however this past experience was different. I sat in station one with a gentlemen who was wearing yezzys. This was the worst experience I have ever had getting my nails done. He showed ZERO interest in what he was doing, kept checking his phone, took forever, and was very inexperienced. However this wasn’t the worst part. I forgot my debit card in my car and told him politely I will be getting my card and coming right back. He followed me out to my car and when I turned around he ran back inside the salon. I go back in and pay and ask him why he is following me? He said there are people who steal. I then asked if “I look like the type of people who steal?” I have been comíng here for years and the staff know me. He is new, inexperienced and though I understand his concern, I found it rude. 0/10

After just needing a polish change my heels were cracked from whatever soap they used. to make up for it they said they will redo the service and were over an hour late after they made an appointment. i asked for a simple $30 refund not even the whole amount of the service and was denied. a total rip off!

Had a mani/pedi done. I liked the results, but am tired of these salons talking to each other the entire time in their own language so us customers have no idea what they are saying. Makes me not want to talk to them

This review is long overdue! Every single time I go to AZ this is my go-to nail salon. I always get compliments on my nails when I go here. Its hard to admit but I love this nail salon better than the nail salon here back home. We all know that their nail art is amazing, but they are very clean even pre-Covid. During Covid, they take extra precaution to make sure customers feel safe. I love that everyone is super friendly. I cant wait to go back to get my nails done. They definitely do it right!

I got my nails done 12/12/2020 and it’s 12/15/2020 and my nail just broke off... i showed the guy doing my nails a photo of what i wanted and did something COMPLETELY different and horrible i called to get my money back and they said i would have to come in to get them fixed and i told her they would have to fix all my nails because they’re all ugly and she knew who i was because she described what nails i got... not the first time i’ve had problems with this nail salon 10/10 would not recommend!

First time at this salon, got a full set gel&pedi regular. Full set was okay ,The acrylic was too fat and thick the technician was nice. Also pedicure was average.

I usually go to Margaritas nails often. But this last time I got a full set but the guy doing them cut up all my finger and when I told him that he was cutting me he said it’s ok it just little. So no, after that all these years of going there I won’t be back!

My manicure started chipping after 3 days. Nail tech cut my finger . She also ruined my Rainbow sandals by putting nail polish on them. Place is cheap but I rather pay more at a place with better quality now.

I had a couple females coming to my job and their nails look amazing I asked them where they got them done and we both said Margarita nails so I took a shot and went in they were clean friendly professional quick and my nails look beautiful. Both Lynn and her husband or the ones who took care of me and they were spectacular and express to me that there goes to make sure that their customers are happy and that shows in their work and it shows in their friendliness of their attitude I havent been satisfied with a nail shop in the better part of 15 years but this place got it .

Every nail professional is top notch here. They all do a great job and all the women know how to wax brows really nicely.

This used to be my place. I started going to them when they didnt have much. As the years went by the salon grew in success. The staff is great at what they but the owners Lynn and Jerry both have awful attitudes. They both cant handle stress and it shows on how they speak to customers at time and how they treat their employees. They both seem to have this idea that if youre not satisfied with the service its not their fault but yours. All the techs there are friendly and very skilled, but with their awful attitudes its only a matter of time that her employees and customer will leave and this shop will be no more. They recently expanded into 2 nail salon due to their volume. Jerry runs one salon and Lynn runs the original salon. The only thing that kept me at the original salon was Bebe and her kindness. Now that shes gone, I can finally express the truth about this place. Save yourself sometime. It will only be a matter of time before you experience Lynns wrath.

The lady that was doing my pedicure did not know how to remove a ingrown toe nail and she cut my toe!! The manager of the margarita never ask me how they can help me, they just ignore the situation, I dont think that I will ever go back to this place

I got a full set. While she was prepping my nails, she cuts my cuticle. Not only did it sting but she didn’t even apologize. I asked for a yellow color with a matte coating. I thought it looked good in the shop but when I got outside it was HORRIBLE. It was so lumpy and the matte coating wasn’t even fully applied. I took a shower that night and and when I was done I noticed it already started peeling off. I looked back at the receipt and noticed they didn’t charge me the full price. It’s usually $80 every time I go but it was $48. They probably knew they messed them up. SO DON’T GO THEREEE!!!

The staff was pretty friendly, but I noticed if theyre busy they tend to be careless. I went with a group and they cut my cuticle and was unable to do a design properly on one of the ladies I went with because they were rushing the process. and they were really rough when doing a pedicure on my mom she was saying she was hurting after the pedicure.

This is one of my favorite places to get my nails done. Theyre clean and do a great job. The few times Ive taken my nieces (6 & 8 yrs old) they were sweet enough to make sure they did it up for them so they would have fun. Theyve even been known to do a design on the house for them. Overall, very professional and worthwhile. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is the wait time. Theyre just that loved. :)

First time experience was not something that would make me return to this establishment. I went with a friend who’s been going here for years and her nails always have looked great, so I thought, why not.Maybe it was just my nail technician, Kevin, but literally worst pedicure I have ever gotten anywhere. I was supposed to get a manicure after my pedicure in which I cancelled because I didn’t want him doing them. He rushes through the service, causing discomfort a few times, didn’t make sure to file the nails evenly or buff them, the hot towel massage was quick and towels cold, and when painting the nails it was not smoothly done. Not relaxing whatsoever and it looks like I did them myself at home. It was really disappointing because when I was trying to point things out to him, I was made to feel very uncomfortable because he would then after proceed to talk to his fellow nail technicians and laugh. I literally got a file myself while in the back waiting for my friend to finish and fixed them myself best I could.If you go here, just make sure you don’t get Kevin. I’ve heard other clients had similar issues/experiences with him as too. Jerry the owner is who does my friends nails, and he seems to do a great job; request him. I won’t be going back, $28 is too expensive for the quality of service I received.

Not fantastic but it could have been worse. Waited 45mins for a pedicure on a Saturday morning, they sat us after 15 minutes but by the time they actually started doing the pedicure the water was cool. My 3yr old got a Polish change and the lady was very rough with her, i know they were busy but if you dont want to do kids nails dont offer the service. Will probably stick to the salon off of Gilbert and baseline from now on.

I have been coming here for a couple years now and I cant say enough wonderful things about this place.....I have 2 nail technicians that I see on a regular basis and I consider them my friends, they are so sweet!! I see Bebe and Cece and they are so amazing - not only because they are so nice but they do INCREDIBLE work!! I get compliments on my nails all the time. Absolutely appalled and disgusted with the careless, insensitive and most unethical place I have ever been to! I went in for a regular fill on Sunday. Im always nice, and have never complained once in all the years I have gone to this salon about my nails when sometimes they could have been better, but the one time I actually wanted a mistake the nail tech made fixed, I was treated like garbage! Jerry can be so nice, but he showed his ugly head today. I asked for a specific chrome to be placed on my nails and the technician applied the wrong color. He was very rude and aggressive with me. He was pushing my hands, pulling them and squeezing them to the way he wanted them positioned. I have NEVER been physically treated like this by any salon. I went in today to ask Jerry if someone could fix my nails to the right color that I asked and paid for and he absolutely started making up lies about the color I picked was too light and thats why they looked the way they did, and just being a jerk! He said they would fix them and he would give me a discount. Why would I pay for their mistake?! What happened to customer service and paying almost $300 a month, because my two daughters go as well, would he not admit to the problem and be a decent human being and make it right. The worst part was Bebe (who is so kind and sweet) came up to Jerry to tell him she would fix them and he started yelling at her in front of all the staff and clients! Thats honestly when tears filled my eyes because she didnt deserve to be treated like garbage and I didnt either! Quality over quantity is something that Jerry needs to know when running a business; screaming at women, humiliating them in front of everyone is absolutely a horrible owner and I feel sorry for his staff that he treats like garbage.

Jerry is the only person i let touch my nails. He is fast but not at the sacrifice of quality. I can trust that he will do the best job. He been in the business for a ling time and has conquered every design i have asked him to do. I drive from San Tan Valley just to have Jerry do my nails. Hes the best.

Im sooo sad I had to downgrade my review ... use to LOVE this place. No wait, excellent service - but that was before the gal at the front desk left. She was brilliant at keeping everything organized, flowing and fun. Now the nail techs answer the phone, arent all that friendly and rush you through your appointments with half-baked services. Ugh ... I gotta find a new nail salon now. :(

Overall this place does an excellent job. My hair dresser recommended that I go there. I’m always happy with my nails, although I get someone different each time I go. (One quit, another doesn’t take appointments) I’m looking for consistency so having a different person each time makes me nervous!But thankfully so far they’ve all done a good job! People stop and ask me where I get my nails done, I’ve probably sent a half dozen people there!

So I am new to the area, I tried this spot out 2 weeks ago for a full set (pink nails) and then again yesterday for a fill (red nails). I absolutely love it here so far. The prices are great, the staff is awesome, and there are plenty of colors to choose from. Now I have to add, the man that did my fill last night was quite rough. I probably wont go to him again but he did do a flawless job on my nail polish.

My friend recommended Margarita Nails to me. This is where she goes regularly for her nails, and I can see why! This is my new spot! I had a relaxing pedicure and manicure done over a month ago and my nails still look amazing! The gel manicure lasted 3-4 weeks perfectly, and now I have painted over the gel with regular polish until I have time to go in again. My toes have also lasted the same amount of time, and I put a layer of glitter over them to hide the few imperfections that happened after about a month. I have never had my gel last this long in my life, and I have been getting my nails done for many years! Cleanliness is very important to me, and this place definitely practices good hygiene. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They dont pressure you to spend more than youre comfortable with. They are also very talented with doing different nail designs. I wish I could remember the names of the ladies who did my nails, and those of my friends who accompanied me for a wedding. I will update later and I will definitely be back!

This was my 2nd time going. My first time was with Ms. Kim, she was the absolute best and made my 1st experience truely welcoming so i asked for her again. She is the most lovely person and takes very good care of you. If she this good i just know everybody else is great at there jobs too. Totally recommend this place to all the guys who are skeptical about getting a pedicure. Make sure to get the hot wax treatment, super dank!

Decided on a color change before tech began painting my toes which annoyed him and then It seemed like he began to talk about me to the tech next to him. Felt very uncomfortable.

I usually come here for pedicures and havent had a problem except for today. I decided to get a dip powder manicure which is what I usually get since it lasts longer than gel and looks a little more natural than acrylics. I picked a baby blue color which then came out to be purple on my nails. I felt bad asking her to change it because I knew that wasnt her fault. I went with what I thought would be a pink color. It turned out to be brighter than I thought. I just went with it because I didnt want her to redo it again. Normally when I get dip powder, I ask for it to be thin so I doesnt look thick and ridiculous. She seemed to be rushing and ended up cutting me with a nail file. Then when she was using the electric file she would only do a quick swipe and try to move on. I asked her about five times to make them a little thinner. She then argued that the color would not show. I said that I didnt mind if the color came out sheer as long as it wasnt thick and bulky. She made minimal effort to fix it. I just gave up and settled for what I got. Did not get a nice clean manicure either

I was rushed out of my seat, so I didn’t have a chance to really look at how unfinished my nails really were. I’m not usually a picky person, so this is really something notable. Please make sure all of your techs have the same training/ skills. The plastic tips hung down past the dip powder color on the sides of all of my fingers, the technician didn’t bother filing under my nails to correct it. The nail surfaces have bumps and dents instead of being rounded and smooth. Even after it took over an hour... Clearly this technician isn’t very familiar with dip powder. I will not continue coming to this salon, as I’m not willing to gamble finding a technician that has practiced this technique.

Not coming back here again. I don’t understand how people enjoy coming here. I went in for a ombré gel no acrylic. I saw the display a few weeks ago with some friends and decided to go back. They told me they couldn’t do this for my nails since I wasn’t getting acrylics. I decided to get something else and when I did, the lady didn’t even clean my cuticles. She just painted and then when she did, she didn’t even paint my whole entire nail. Probably only took 15 minutes and had to pay $20.

Love this place and everyone in it. Theyre always professional, very attentive to my nails and take their time making everything just the way I want it. Whether its a Rush Hour pedicure I can get done on my lunch break or a full set their work is impeccable. I asked if they did eyelash extensions one day and the owner informed me they stay away from doing extras like that so they can focus on providing the best nail service in town. Best. Answer. Ever. I live over 30 miles away and I still go to this establishment over otherd. Their quality of service and professionalism hasnt changed since I first started coming here in 2011.

I love this place so much! Bebe is the absolute best! I always have to call ahead because she always seems busy, and she deserves it. Ive been with her for over a year a half, and just now writing this review. So I really recommend her. But if I cant get in, Im gonna be really sad. Haha.Ive been to a couple of the other techs and were kinda disappointed. So I stick with Bebe. My first impression wasnt good at all. I left annoyed, and honestly would have given a mediocre review. But my coworker recommended this place, and said to give it a shot with Bebe. Was not disappointed after that! She did my wedding nails 😍 oh I loved them. I see her every 2-3 weeks!

Wife and I came here for pedicures on a Saturday afternoon. They were pretty busy but we got seated within 15 minutes. Their prices are fair, but be warned if you pay with a card, they add a dollar processing fee. Service was great, very relaxing pedicure. My only real complaint (as well as my wifes) was the massage chairs are a little too rough on you when massaging your back. We ended up turning those off after trying to find a decent setting for 10 minutes. Other than that, everything was great. Very friendly staff.

Ive been coming here for a few years. They get really busy so Id definitely recommend making an appointment. Tony is my favorite, but most all of them do a pretty good job :)

I went in as a walk in and was tended to quickly. I purchased a full set of acrylic nails for $25 with a $2 fee for having a matte top coat.The nail technician did not tend to my real nails prior to putting the acrylic nails on. My cuticles were not done, so once the nails were complete it looked as if they had grown out for a week or two and I just got them.They were very uneven and thick. Its been 5 days and the matte top coat has worn off and the nail color itself is not lasting.I will be taking my service elsewhere from here on out.My nail tech also left while I was drying my nails so I found myself just sitting there for 20+ minutes. I eventually just got up and left.

Since I cant reply to Victor I hope he sees this but as I was searching other reviews for other nail salons it sounds like Bebe went to Glaxay nails on stapley and the 60!! Hope this helps anyone else who was looking for her!!

I arrived and was immediately barked orders to go sit down for my mani as I was at the color station. They gave me zero time to pick a color. So I sat down and was finding a color as the ladies were rushing me. 2 minutes later she got up and left me there to do a pedicure w/o saying a word.Now I have a color but am waiting for someone. I got a mani pedi and was unimpressed with the service. My nails were painted 2 days ago and already they look like they need to be filled. She spent NO time on the pedi. I didn’t get the cheapest pedi either yet she didn’t do much other than paint my toes so I guess I paid extra for nothing.Even worse is how they treated my mother who was with me. The man scrubbed her feet so hard she had a bloody painful sore. He scrubbed her skin off!

Tony did my nails and he did an excellent job! Took his time, they were perfect!

This place is a fabulous nail salon!!! Ive had some negative experiences at other nail salons, so I was about to give up all together. Im so glad I went to Margarita Nails. They know what theyre doing! Ive never had a better gel manicure. They appear clean and well sanitized. I wont go anywhere else.

My experience here was horrible!!! I never wrote a negative review in my life, but I had to give my honest opinion about this place/nail technician. so many people referred me here,I came in with high expectations. They didnt say to pick a nail color or anything,didnt ask what we wanted till we got into the chairs and were annoyed we didnt pick a color. I wanted a acrylic overlay on my natural nails. I have naturally long nails, and thought why not put a thin layer of acrylic on top....well to say the least this nail tech DAMAGED my nails! Completely destroyed my nail bed to the point where my cuticles were throbbing! My nails seemed super weak! And using a nail drill on natural nails is a BIG NO! Every professional nail technician should know not to use a drill on natural nails with a corse carbide bit!!! Im not sure if this person was new, or out of school but this person should not be doing nails! Wont return here.
