I needed a new hair salon so decided to try Ava Salon and Spa based on their reviews and their website. I was not disappointed! Denise did a wonderful job on my hair. She is very knowledgeable about hair and you can tell she really enjoys her work. Very nice salon and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this salon!

I’ve been trying to find a good salon since Im new to the area, and Ava is now my forever home! I got my hair dyed, styled, and cut by Denise, and she is absolutely top notch! Denise is extremely professional, and knowledgeable about what my hair needs to look it’s best. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable especially for the quality of service they provide. I would highly recommend Ava to anyone!

I LOVE this salon. Ive had my hair done twice here now and I’ll never go anywhere else. Rebecca is an absolute ARTIST. I’m not good at keeping up with maintenance or knowing what i want in general and i told her she had free reign on what she wanted to do and GIRL DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Youve heard it said that nothing grows back slower than a bad haircut and thats so true. BUT THE HAIRCUT I GOT FROM DENISE WAS FANTASTIC!!! Typically it takes a stylist a few times to get someones hair but Denise nailed it!!! I am soooooo happy with how she cut my hair I will NEVER go to anyone else!!!!

Denise and Alexa both, do a fabulous job! Denise discovered I had alopecia and thanks to her I was able to get to a dermatologist and get shots to enable my hair to grow back. She is great at coloring and cutting too! So far I have referred 2-3 clients and have an aunt that just made an appointment to see Denise next month. By the way, it is an hour drive for me to go there from Peoria but well worth it.. Try them out!

Let me start by saying, DENISE IS AMAZING. Honesty everyone that works here is great at what they do. I found Denise a year or two ago on Groupon and originally got highlights because I wanted to go blonder. They looked great! I then wanted to go for a BIG change and went red and oh my god. I will never go anywhere else, this woman NAILED IT! she gave me exactly what I wanted! Sometimes we change it up and go more red and then more orange sometimes, no matter what she’s always hyped for it! Her daughter Alexis is amazing also! I love when she styles my hair, she’s a wiz at curling hair 😍 love my hair fam, so so so happy I found them❤️

My cousin first recommended Denise a few years ago when I was wanting a new style and I love her work. I always show her what I want and ask for her opinion as well as advice with styling.My first visit to the new salon was to go short and donate my hair. She was very meticulous in the measuring and cutting to ensure the hair could be donated and that I could keep as much length as possible. I love my new look and will continue to go back for styling as my hair grows out.I’m so happy she opened her own salon and I love the atmosphere she has created.

I usually go to the local corner nail place, but I saw a post on FB Marketplace for Ava Salon & Spa and decided to try it, to have my nails made pretty for my grand daughter’s wedding in Florida.I cant say enough accolades about Franzi. In all my 72 years, i have never found a nail artist, this good! Her attention to detail and focus on perfection were so apparent as she created my beautiful nails. My only “complaint “ would be that they might just take some attention from the BRIDE!!!Franzi has won me over with as a life long client!

I have been getting my face done by Marie miller DOS.for about a month . And my face is already glowing , my complection is very nice now .Im very pleased with what she has done for me thus far .if you are looking to pamper ur self or a woman in ur life dont look any farther this is where she should be u wont be disappointed .

A salon with a fun vibe! I go in to see Franzi to get my nails done and she is awesome. Franzi is passionate about her service and her work is “art”! I get gel nails and they last up to 3 weeks and look beautiful the entire time! Franzi uses Leafgel which is a quality product from Japan that is cruelty free and vegan friendly. Franzi also gives a super pedicure that will have you relaxed and your feet looking great!

Recently went here to have my nails done by Franzy, who was promoting herself on Facebook. I paid $60 for a beautifully designed set of coffin shaped nails on Friday 7/12. I left happy, but on Sunday morning 7/14...2 nails popped off. I messaged Franzy on Monday to let her know how much I loved the design, but they were popping off. By Tuesday morning... 3 more had popped off. On Wednesday, I reached out to her again and asked for a refund, the only thing she would offer was a new full pink/white set, a service she only charges $25 for.The owner of the salon commented on a post on Facebook and said she had advised Franzy to not refund me because my nail beds were supposedly too thin.After threatening to contact the cosmetology board, Franzy finally refunded a portion of my money. Bad experience overall. Owner is very unprofessional and snotty.
