These guys made me believe that quality care is out there. They treat you with kindness, respect, and understanding. I never have to be afraid to come to them with an issue about my medication as i truly believe their providers have my best interest at heart. As far as medication management goes, their turnaround time is incredibly quick. While calls usually forward to their voice mail, Ive never had to wait longer than 48 hours for a response on a refill or appointment request. I prefer to email, but theyll text you sometimes too which really speeds things up. Their office is a bit far for me but after the first couple visits, I was able to request tele-health appointments and honestly its the first time Ive looked forward to therapy in a long time. If you are seeking assistance in managing your mental health, contact them.

The office staff is very nice and always pleasant, but my experience with Dr. Melissa Ramirez was not great. Shes very knowledgeable but can be very abrasive. She cut me off a lot while I was talking as if she was bored of what I was saying, so she would interrupt me and ask a new question.I was met with attitude during our last visit and made to feel ridiculous, because I expressed to her I was scared to start all the new medications at once. Going from no meds, to all of the sudden a few, can be intimidating. She was not sympathetic to say the least. Our initial appointment she had talked so fast and was going over all the chemical compositions of the medications, which just confused me and scared me further. I’m not a doctor, and need clear concise instructions.

I really felt safe and welcomed into this practice. The wait time wasn’t long, and their response to any question I had was done very promptly. I am very pleased to found a place where my health is taken as a priority. I highly recommend seeing them.

The staff is great, they are friendly & always get me in right on time. Dr. Ramirez is very personable and likable. She listens well & never passes judgement. You can see the sincerity in her eyes as she discusses options to help with whatever it is you’re dealing with. Dr. Ramirez has really helped me to better focus my thoughts and my anxiety is almost nonexistent. I highly recommend her and Lighthouse Psychiatry to help you get to where you want to be emotionally and mentally

The office is pleasant and the staff is warm and friendly. The only reason I did not give five stars is it is really hard to reach anyone by phone. They are very good at responding to email though so that is good.Dr. Ramirez is kind, knowledgeable, and easy to work with.

The staff at lighthouse is simply amazing. When entering into the doors the atmosphere is very welcoming and calming. Which is perfect for something like this. You are always greeted by friendly staff who is willing to help. I meet with Lisa and Kelley and both of then are so very sweet each and everytime we meet.

I’ve been going to Lighthouse Psychiatry & Advanced TMS for several years now and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always professional and courteous. Dr. Chung Trinh is absolutely fantastic. He’s helped me so much and I would highly recommend Lighthouse to anyone who wants to do better in their life. I like them so much that I choose to drive clear across the Valley just to be seen there. Give them a call. You have nothing to lose, but everything to gain.

Lighthouse Psychiatry has been a lifesaver for my family. My daughter got an official diagnosis and has been through talk therapy and worked with a psychiatrist to find a medication that works for her. I also have been able to obtain talk therapy services and psychiatric evaluation for a medication as well. The whole team is incredible and we are very happy to be in treatment with this office.

This clinic, in a single phrase: money-driven.... that is /exactly/ how it felt to be a patient over the span of the time I had begun switching over to Lighthouse for both psychiatry and counseling services this last year. The only time that I felt properly treated was I had kept up with every single one of my copays (Id paid one before each of my psychiatric appointments and counselling sessions), and I had agreed to get a Genesight test done, of which I was billed thousands onto my insurance that left me paying hundreds out of pocket. And this test was offered FIRST thing on my FIRST visit, all without much information or insight as to what the results would actually mean for my treatment (which turned out to just be very un-useful information, all of which was not helpful to me), and without any warning of how extremely expensive this test would be to actually complete. And those copays I mentioned before? I had called my insurance on a whim to check up to see about the copays Id paid for my counselling sessions (as I had never paid a copay to see a counselor before coming to Lighthouse), and I couldnt believe what the insurance company told me. They said I didnt owe them any copay at all! For either counseling sessions OR psychiatric appointments. So, of course I let the office staff know immediately after finding this out, and they quickly wrote me a fairly large check, in the return of all of the copays I had been wrongfully paid thus far.ALL of this was frustrating enough, but this doesnt even begin to mention how poorly I was treated by staff each time I went in, especially after they wrote me that check. After that, Id always feel like I was being rude by merely checking in with the front desk, and though the nurses & providers may put on this, almost forced presentation that they care, dont let their well help you act fool you; because I did. I was desperate. & I do NOT EVER write bad reviews unless something effected me in such a negative way...but now Im down 5K on my insurance deductible & $400 CASH that I couldve used for something actually useful to my health instead... that being said: I would highly UN-recommend, even go as far as to blacklist Lighthouse Psychiatry to those I know & care for, as well as for anybody looking for actual help with their mental health; stay far away from here.

I have been helped so much from the staff. The staff at Lighthouse have treated me with compassion and respect. They really care about me and work with me to improve my issues. My life is so much better I look forward for the day.

If you want a provider that will treat you with respect and help you maneuver with every day life or conquering issues that you would love to let go and move on, they are the ones!

I have just started with a new therapist so it’s too soon to review her. I was previously seeing Richard and I really liked him. He understood my issues and we had just started working on them.9/8/21I am now seeing Neal. What a perfect fit! He is on track with who I am and what I need. He sites proof with studies and physiology of exactly what I’m going through.Everyone at Lighthouse is professional and caring. They make everyone feel important and never bad or stupid. I have been to others in the therapy field that at the least made me feel like an imposition to the worst who did damage.I am so thankful to find Lighthouse.

I’ve been in therapy at Lighthouse for a good year now and it’s made all the difference in my life! The staff at Lighthouse is welcoming and it is an inviting and inclusive atmosphere. I first learned about Lighthouse about a year before actually seeking therapy there. They hosted an educational session open to the public and I got so much out of it, I knew this would be the place for me once I decided to seek therapy. As for my personal therapist, I would need a whole blog post to talk about how important he has been for my growth, healing, and trauma recovery journey. Couldn’t have asked for a better therapist!

I give 5 stars for my counselor but 2 starts for the companies customer service. Almost every time I call to make an appointment, no one ever answers the phone. This is very frustrating and often times I miss the day and time I would have wanted.

The doctor is great Ive had a few glitches with my card for payment. Ive given them the new card multiple times and they said they got it but then when I go to pay with card on file they always tell me its expired. Other than that I have no dislikes or concerns.

Dr Kelly is wonderful! She listens and helps you! I finally feel heard. I would give her 10 stars if I could.

I went to Lighthouse Psychiatry about 2 times and then I could not stand it anymore. Dr. Ramirez was supposed to be treating me for bipolar but she gave me antidepressants instead, which by fact makes it worse. I would tell her that it made me feel worse and she would gaslight me and tell me I was wrong. She is EXTREMELY condescending and clearly does not actually care about any of her patients and does not know what she is doing. If you’re going to be working with people for your career, learn how to be nice. She told me there were no options for me left, which is a lie. I went to a different psychiatrist after and he gave me a TON of different options, which were all specifically for bipolar. I am honestly surprised that Dr. Ramirez has not been fired yet because there are many other people who have had similar problems with her, it’s ridiculous. But then again, the office staff is also a nightmare. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

The front desk staff is beyond rude. You can never get through to a live human being to schedule, you have to leave messages and then they call you back. If you dont happen to pick up the call when they call back you spend days playing phone tag. Charged me $100.00 for canceling when I unexpectedly got stuck at work. The worst!!! If you have anxiety of any kind dont go here, they will only make it worse.

Dr. Kafer really is helpful. She understood what I need and always try to help out in anyway she can.

Had my initial visit, which was great. The front staff is great about corresponding via email very quickly, so I dont have to call for anything. A major plus for a psychiatrist, especially when my anxiety is getting the better of me and calling is just not an option. The doctor I saw was very knowledgeable and caring about my mental health, and Im looking forward to trying out her recommendations. Ill follow up with a more in-depth review once Ive been going here longer, but my first visit left a fantastic impression.EDIT 05/16/2021: Been going here for over 6 months now, and so far everything is great. Dr. Ramirez is compassionate and understanding, and I have nothing but good things to say. Shes been an incredible help so far.

Maybe tell your psychiatrists to actively LISTEN to their patients, to not talk over, interrupt, gaslight, and project their own triggers on their patients when a difficult emotion is present. Especially when theyre needing a safe space to express concerns about the level of care. Labeling a patient disrespectful for feeling emotion is the definition of gaslighting and this office should be ashamed of themselves. Im EXTREMELY disappointed in the lack of meaningful care at this facility, specifically with Dr. Ramirez. Her indifference towards my case was painful and I hope no one who goes to her for help in the future is met with such disdain.The office staff is incompetent to say the least. They only read half of their faxed requests, their fax machine magically only receives letters if you spend a week trying to get them to do their job, and their CEO, Chung will likely cover for them as if its completely acceptable to fumble peoples care/livelihood around like its a buttered football. I only had three appointments and each time they made it clear their priority is in their wallet, not you the patient.HIGHLY recommend not going here.EDIT: I advise you to reference the owners copy & pasted response to this review. Perfect example of their complete lack of awareness and accountability. Dr. Ramirez walked out of my session because she was so upset for whatever reason I still cant figure out, she continuously interrupted me while I tried to speak, she TOLD me what Im thinking, she refused to hear my concerns, she called my disability leave a vacation, and then ended my care. Why? Because I told her I cant focus on my health if Im holding the front desk staffs hands for them do their jobs. Dr. Ramirez felt it was disrespectful and argumentative for me to have the audacity to be my own advocate and address the lack of care their office provided me. Other peoples positives experiences do not make the mistreatment of other patients OK. It does not give your staff the right to diminish the needs of other patients simply because someone addresses the sheer panic your office staff incites when they dont do their job. If Im paying for quality care then I expect quality care. Your offices simply do not provide that. You take money and then were on our own. Im glad there are people who you dont mistreat and receive the care they need. Im glad there are individuals who you genuinely want to help and do. But stop acting like youre company is some beacon of wisdom and kindness. Youre just like every other business out there; looking out for yourselves and your own image.

WARNING - DO NOT COME HERE!!!!I wish I could give this group no stars because they are horrible. They never answer their phones, never text you back which they say they are great at doing but arent! Their overall communication is the worst!They cancelled my appointment which was 100% their fault and then wanted to reschedule me for 6 weeks later. They werent willing to work with me at all. Another family member had an appointment scheduled today and because of their lack of communication and not answering their phones, there was paperwork they required which wasnt filled out. Again rather than working with us and let us fill out the paperwork then and there, they cancelled the appointment and said they couldnt see them. Really? Who does this besides a group that cant tell the head from the hole in the ground?HORRIBLE --- HORRIBLE --- HORRIBLE!

I find the staff to be very nice and welcoming. I read another review that had a problem with scheduling, and it is a little challenging to get exact same time for some appointments, HOWEVER, the staff will take the time to help you schedule your appointments to make sure that your needs are being met. I dont think it will be hard to get on a regular schedule once you get established. Until then, be a little flexible, they are worth it! Paige is a wonderful tech to have, she is very nice and very personable! Rochelle is a great therapist, very easy to talk to.

Dealing with the office staff is horrible. They dont really seem like they know what theyre doing, their phones are horrible and it seems like it was started by a bunch of great boys. It gets two stars because the Drs and counselors are good.

If you are looking for a provider that can offer a consistent routine, go elsewhere. It was impossible to schedule recurring appointments with our therapist. It also took over two months just to get our first appointment.Consistency and routine is incredibly important when dealing with mental and psychiatric conditions...this place clearly does not understand that. If youre willing to see your therapist once every few weeks, this is your place. If you need weekly appointments with a staff that understands and respects that need, go somewhere else.

Unfortunately these therapists are paired with an incompetent office staff and a ridiculous office management. They have an extremely harsh no show policy with a huge $75 fee. This is a big problem when with the incompetent office staff miss-schedules. Either they scheduled an appointment you did not schedule, or they forget to remove a canceled appointment from the schedule. Either way they make it impossible to keep your appointments. A reasonable office manager would reconcile this mistake by reversing the fee. But Lighthouse insists on enforcing a policy even when there staff caused the problem.I noticed other reviews complaining about scheduling but thought it must be a few isolated cases. The reality is that is seems to be a systemic problem. With the huge no show fee and ridiculous management you could end up paying hundreds in fees throughout the year.Its incredibly difficult to find a good mental health provider but me and my family will be looking elsewhere.Edit: Response to Response from the owner: It is impossible to be responsible for an appointment that was incorrectly scheduled. When I am told by your office staff that I dont have an appointment, I believe them. To then receive a call telling me I owe $75 for not showing up is ridiculous.If I had not shown for an appointment that was correctly scheduled I would have been annoyed by your fee. I would likely have asked for it to be waived but would have reluctantly paid it if you refused. It would have soured the client relationship between us and I may have looked elsewhere. However your refusal to see that this does not even fall into your policy is just silly. Two weeks before the appointment I was told I had no appointments and I also stated dont schedule any more appointments until I call back. Two weeks is well outside the 24 hours window your policy provides.Your strict enforcement of the no show policy would be unusual even if you had not miss-scheduled the appointment. Everyone from hair stylists, doctors and therapist have these policies. Although usually with more reasonable fees. However they only enforce them when a clients no shows become abusive. Most professionals care more about developing a relationship with there clients then penalizing them when as you say life happens. Maybe with the shortage of mental health providers you dont need to retain clients, but hopefully you will learn that good client relation are far more valuable than collecting fees.

Everyone was great. I had TMS treatment. The only problem the TMS did not last long. I need to do TMS again and they do not accept medicare. So I am stuck in depression again. I am hoping that moving back home will help.

The doctors and staff at this practice genuinely care about the people they help. If you are reading this and feel like you need help then I assure you that giving them a chance will make a difference in your life. I know how hard it is to talk about the voices in our head when no one is around. The things that we are so ashamed to talk about because of the fear of what someone else will think. However bad you may think it is, you will be approached with no ill will and finally find someone who listens that has the ability to help.If you have had the chance to experience being respected, safe, not having to lie about what you have been going through then please help others find the lighthouse in an ocean filled with darkness. Only someone who has been there will ever understand us. You may think that you have it worst but it doesnt matter. You will find solid land that you can stand on and see the sun past the lighthouse.Us

Extremely unprofessional office. The receptionist lady is incompetent and rude. I had to call repeatedly to request her to send the pharmacy my prescription order. Every time I called she would lie and say Ive been trying to fax it over 5 times now. Meanwhile I call Walgreens and they havent received anything.The worst part is, every 30 days you want your prescription filled, they make you come in for an appointment first! Even if you know the meds are working good for you and you have been in for several previous appointments. Who has time for that?!? They just want your money and give you piss poor service in return. I suggest you look elsewhere!!
