What a great experience! I recently took my 4Runner to the dealership for servicing. I was told there I needed a wheel alignment plus front and rear brakes. Not completely trusting what I was told, I scheduled at Brakes Plus. They did a thorough inspection of both the alignment and the brakes and the alignment was perfect and the brakes were both over 50%!!! They could have easily sold me on both but they chose to be honest with me which I greatly appreciate! They recommended I come see them for another inspection in 10,000 miles and that was it. Quick backstory, I had my front tires replaced by another company and they tightened the lugs wayyyy too tight. I couldnt get my tire off and it prevented me from being able to do some work on my car. Out of convenience since I work nearby, I stopped here at Brakes Plus to see if they would be able to work their magic to get the lugs off, and fortunately they did! They got the lug nuts off and put them back on for me correctly. Very grateful for their kindness. Thank you!! Ill be back for an alignment once I finish my repairs!

I went in for an oil change and they REFUSED to service my car !!!! Told me they didn’t want to be held responsible if anything were to happen to my engine. I had to walk down the street to auto zone myself and change my oil MYSELF! In their parking lot !!! I am also 9months pregnant. Will definitely not be returning to this store EVER AGAIN!!!!! And I highly recommend going to a place that has ACTUAL mechanics and professional staff. Very poor service.

It is always a little intimidating as a women to walk in to a place for car service. Theres always that fear that youll get taken advantage of with your lack of knowledge. Thankfully, that fear did NOT come to fruition. I was greeted at the door by Robert Bennett and I felt respected and taken care of every single step of the process. I was a walk-in - and from start to finish it only took a couple hours. I was provided with a free break check which once completed, Robert gave me a call to explain all they had found (which was actually way less than I had anticipated). He outlined all my options, and was transparent with their pricing and his recommendations. I told him how I wanted to proceed, and the work was completed just a couple hours later.I am very thankful to Robert for the experience, and the patience/time he took to walk me through everything. I highly recommend this company and will continue to use them for all my future service needs.

Im one of the first people that looks for a cheaper way to do things but getting my brakes fixed by Robert and his crew was an amazing experience all the way around. On 01/08/2021 I took my sisters SUV in to have the brakes replaced. I had the pleasure to speak with the General Manager Sean Knowlton. He was very helpful and said they would examine the brakes and let me know what was needed. Sean had the necessary repairs done on the brakes and the car was returned to me a short time later. The cost was very reasonable and his professional demeanor was appreciated. Good job Sean.

I went in for an oil change and an inspection as my car was at 30,000 miles. My boyfriend does most of my services and knew what needed to be done but he was too busy, so I went here. They called me to inform me what needed to be done and didn’t try to up sell me for any silly services I didn’t need. I will be going back for any service my boyfriend doesn’t want to do.

I like their services and customer care, but like most auto body shops they have a tendency to sway you towards spending mire money for unnecessary repairs. Just know your facts before visiting 👍

We couldn’t find our jumper cables so disconnected the battery and took it in to see if they could test it. Had my brakes checked and replaced in dec 2019 at this location. Immediately after the brakes didn’t feel right to me. Very “soft” is the best I could describe, so took it back in. They advised me that is how brakes should feel and that maybe I’d gotten used to my prior “bad” brakes. Fast forward exactly 12 months. Started hearing and feeling grinding when braking. My husband took my wheel off and there is massive damage to the rotor. Didn’t feel comfortable going back to Brakes Plus for obvious reasons, so another local Gilbert mechanic had a look. The caliper had been installed poorly and caused the brake pad to wear all the way down in just one year, damaging multiple parts and compromising the brake system. $400 it’s fixed.Brakes plus is convenient and friendly, but the work was bad even after alerting them that something was wrong.

Great experience! Reasonable prices and it only took less than an hour for tire rotation, oil change and fluid fills. Much cheaper and less wait time than going to a dealership. They were all friendly especially Lori who works at the front desk she is very knowledgeable about cars.

Went to Christian Bros Auto down the street to get a price on my Brakes as they were metal to metal coming from Flagstaff to Gilbert . They wanted 2400.00 for new pads and rotors said no way and went to Breaks Plus and they did the front and back and a flush for 900.00 and did a great job. I would highly recommend these people and they are very friendly also.

Honest and friendly. This is my go to spot for break and suspension system repairs and second opinions of other parts of my vehicles, a bit pricy though but Id say the work and indepth car input is well worth it when it comes to planning for future car repairs/decisions towards upgrading to another vehicle.

We have been taking our cars here for well over a decade. Always great service and honest guys there. Today, they could have easily charged me to “fix” my headlight. The truth was the socket needed to be plugged back in. No charge. Most places would have charged a fee for doing that! They are always so trustworthy. Thank you such great service over the years!!!!

I had originally taken my truck to Gruelich’s who had recommended I replace front rotors and pads as well as rear pads for an estimate over 700 hundred dollars. Brakes Plus Gilbert at Greenfield and Baseline provided a second opinion. No front rotors required or front pads. Brakes plus replaced the rear pads only and did a brake flush for a 400 dollar savings. Work was done fast with no hitches. Thankful for the honest professional service.

This is the third time this has happened to me. I go through the drive-thru give my order and when I check my bag after Ive driven out there is no french fries. Its a pain in the butt to go back up to the walk-up window and get my fries that should have been in the bag when I got it through the drive-thru. I like your food but your service sucks.

I took in for an oil change and they could not remove the oil filter housing cap. I ended up having to drive my car 40 minutes on way back to the last place I had an oil change who had no issues to get the oil filter changed. Central Care care in Phoenix is way cheaper and less a hassle. Care care did not even charge me for the filter.

This place is a absolutely amazing. When I brought my Cailber in for just an alignment last year they found many issues and even showed me. Gave me the deal going on and made it work. They even stayed later to finish the job which I could never be more appreciate of it. This year I brought my grand prix that I only knew a couple of things that needed down but asked for an entire look over. They gave me all the priorities and things that arent a safety hazard yet but needs to be done. As just being a walk in they got all the very important safety hazard work done that I agreed to the same day! Im not saying I only had a couple of things that needed done..there was a lot.Youre money is very well spent here. These guys have been the best and the most honest company Ive been to. Came and thought that this shop was going to be like everyone else. Not only was the price more than reasonable but I was out of the shop within 2 hours. That’s with repairs and all. This is definitely my home shop when it comes to repairs like these or oil changes. What made it ten times better was the employees were nice as well. I definitely only want to come to this specific location being the other one I called was not as friendly or didn’t really seem to care about my vehicle. They made me feel like I would not have to worry if they were going mess something up. I just got these repairs done today so I might do another review after driving my vehicle for a week or so, but as of right now I am so pleased! Hopefully I leave happy again after I go in there for my first oil change! Fingers crossed!

We are new to the area and did not have a mechanic to service my car. When the mobile mechanic was unable to make our appointment, I found brakes plus through Google. I was able to get a same day appointment at a convenient time. Robert was my service advisor and was excellent. No attempt to hustle me when I came in or when he called me with the diagnostics. In fact, he went out of his way to offer me the current coupon specials that I did not know about. My car was ready sooner than expected. These guys are AMAZING. Really. The customer service here is unparalleled. They REALLY helped me out. My brakes were all but gone. A brake pad was missing.. they were super unsafe to be driving on. They were caring and compassionate and really prevented what could have been a DISASTER. I have 4 kids and drive around everywhere. I hate to think what could have happened if they didn’t help. They really are amazing.

My car was making a loud noise and I was 30 miles from home. Pulled into their shop stressed out with little kids and in the heat. They quickly diagnosed and fixed my car- beyond honest and told me it was just a plastic cover that had come loose. Would highly recommend them and plan to get my brakes done in the future!

I spoke on the phone with robert to set up an appointment time to get my air checked out he was super nice and understanding of my problems and needs, we quickly set up an appoinment time for the next day, same day was available but didnt work with my schedule.I worked with sean in store, and another kind gentleman whose name i unfortunatly didnt catch, sean was also super nice, he took the time to really explain what was wrong with my car, what needed to be replace and what they had done during the appointment.As a 24 year old female with little to no car knowledge. I left feeling informed and unpresseured to do something i hadnt looked into yet, so i didnt feel like they were trying to push unneccesary fixes on me like places have done in the past.They were very time efficient, i was able to drop my car off a few hours early as my schedule was busy. They were verry accomodable. Communicative and kind. I will be going back, i suggest you try it too!

Service and price was great. My only complaint is that was originally provided a quote f for brakes with to options (one cheaper but less warranty, another pricier with lifetime warranty). However after dropping of car for evaluation, the man who called to discuss only offered me the pricier option...... And I had to ask about the other, which was still available. This left a bag taste with me. Not sure if these guys work on commission, but I did not appreciate this practice. Still cheaper than dealer though.......
