Thank you for your help Jo Ann!The bottom line is that State farm is one of the most expensive insurance companies around, and they dont do a better job when you actually need to make a claim against them. Like in my case they told me that theres no reason for me to leave them because all the insurance companies have this exact same policy, so fine if they all have the same policy I might as well just find the cheapest company and this isnt it.Ive been a customers of their since I was 15 and driving on a permit. I always knew that it was expensive but my parents had it their whole life and had been happy so they recommended it to me plus we were a family so you get a discount. And I tolerated the higher prices because I believe that when the s*** hit the fan I didnt want to spend my time arguing with the insurance company I just wanted to be covered, Thats the whole point of an insurance company!I could barely afford $1,000 car at the time because I had no job history and I was young and so people could exploit me for the least amount of money despite my qualifications.And I dont remember exactly what the value was but just for me driving a vehicle what I paid for in cash on minimum wage basically was $250-350 dollars a month for a car worth a thousand dollars. Thats how expensive this company is.Im almost 40 now, and I figure between me getting older adding my own family to the insurance and carrying them even points where I would have been qualified for USAA, god forbid I had insurance with USAA. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️I have vehicles with them houses with them renter insurance with them rental insurance and among other upgrades between multiple states. And recently when the s*** hit the fan theyre not going to cover me for a $7,000 sewage backup damage because they consider the pipe the property of The government but theyre not willing to send their agents to a lawsuit against the government for damages so theyve especially written an exclusion for this purpose. I have paid them hundreds of thousands of dollars in my lifetime, and I have multiple agents representing me.This is an exploitive business, because if youre literally going to provide a better service than any other company then by charging more youre just ripping people off.I could have just kept that money and pocketed the whole time in a savings account and when things happened I would still be up $100,000 at least.If you dont think Im being fair please call my agent and get his side of the story and see if theres anything that Im saying here that he can deny as fact. Hes in lake Forest California, and because this is a company policy Im going to leave this review on every single agents website Yelp review site that I can find. And then I want to ask everybody to help turn away from this company, because if its a race to the bottom on quality it should be a race to the bottom on cost too.Because at this point what choice do I have as a customer, am I going to sue the state myself when this is the entire reason I hired the insurance company? No I can just leave a nasty review oh boo-hoo maybe they can close up and rename to get new reviews started from scratch.So now in one of the most important periods of my life, I am not covered, I have to go look for a new insurance company and transfer everything and deal with all that headache too. Save yourself the time people and find a cheaper company. Thank you.I was tempted to send this to their corporate executives first but what am I doing just going to them on my knees.

Failed to respond to repeated requests to fix errors. For over SEVEN YEARS has failed to remove husbands ex-wifes name from our policy, and mistakenly lists his ex-wifes birthday for mine (so I receive birthday notices, etc. indicating Im turning 40 and commensurate rate increases, when Im years younger and my birthday is 6 months away!). We finally switched to a better agent (MORE coverage for 38% LESS!) and agent faxed a cancellation, but JoAnn failed to cancel the policy and continued to deduct premiums for 3 months!!! POOR SERVICE all the way around!!!

Pleased with my experience. Office is conveniently located off of 202. Spanish speaking is a plus. When State Farm couldn’t write my business JoAnn directed me to someone who could. Thoughtful

Horrible customer service. I tried repeatedly to contact someone about my upcoming renewal and no one ever called me back or emailed me. If they cant handle simple stuff like this, how will they handle a claim? Steer clear of this agency, 2nd rate at best.

Worst experience ever Poor Service. Please dont use this Agent: Jo Ann Alvarez. The representative Maribel Reyes was arrogant, unproffesional and crass. I called to get a break down of my car insurance because I wanted to know why they were taking $267 from my checking account since my regular monthly payment is $136. She mentioned the bill was mailed to you. You own that amount. I was expecting a courtesy call as a 9 years customer just to notify me the will charge me the double amount to reinstate my policy. Iam disgusted with the treatment I receive from this Agent. They dont care the customers and they tell lies on every single call. State farm is not a good company to do get insurance with. No benefit to keep my insurance with them. They were reasonable but only for the first bill aftef that you will have unknown charges.

It’s not often you meet individuals who are as ethical and hardworking as Del & Jo. Everyone has problems, and insurance can be frustrating, but I feel like if I give the office the time...I come away with a better understanding of my insurance needs and insurance in general.

Communication with this office is terrible, employee turn over , false promises , dont trust them with your property or car insurance you could be with out policy with out you known . warning !
