Excellent, professional service. Honest and affordable. We had to replace a 25 year old unit. We have 3 units in our home and Affirmative Air has replaced two of the three (the third will be next but they said it was working fine still (honesty)!!! Ian and Jack were professional, friendly and efficient. I’m a customer for life!!

Our AC unit died during Memorial Day weekend. Through HomeAdvisor, I found Affirmative Air and Jay took my call within minutes of receiving our inquiry. They were out here the next morning and provided us with an affordable unit price, good quality unit and great warranty/service plan. A day later we have cold air!!! Couldn’t be happier with the responsiveness, customer service and quality of this company. We will continue to use Affirmative Air for maintenance and are very happy customers. Thank you!!

Called a few times spoke to Ashley (forgive me if that is wrong) having quiet a few issues with my dial. She always answered and then was able to fix it over the phone with me. Now tell me how many companies would do that knowing they would not make a dime for their time, never had to come out. From the beginning I was dealing with an air conditioning nightmare. I had 3 other companies come out and couldnt figure out what the problem was. They suggested a new unit or some experimental repair that just didnt feel right considering the unit is only 5 years old! After some back and forth with the other companies I finally had Affirmative Air came out and I have to say that this is one of the best A/C companies that I have had the pleasure of working with. From the start Ashley was very knowledgable and friendly on the phone. She sent Rocky out who arrived on time and presented himself very professional and friendly. He diagnosed the system very thoroughly and presented options in a way that was easy to understand. About an hour later he had me up and running which was great but what really made a difference is that this system is working better than it ever has since I had it installed 5 years ago!Thank you Rocky and Affirmative Air for the outstanding service. I definitely recommend them for your first call.

I have been a loyal customer to Affirmative since I bought my home in 2014. Theyve installed the two central systems my home requires and updated ducting for us. Since the start theyve been nothing less than wonderful. This last weekend my Thermostat went haywire and we were out of A/C. Rocky called me back quickly and responded to text and follow-up calls to help guide me through the process. He, Ashley, Mike and the other team members whove been here (forgot their names off hand) have been AMAZING. Definitely worth an annual maintenace agreement. Thank you all for all you do for us!

Ben and Ian came out to my house this morning and did a great job for us. They made sure to not only get my heater up and working again, but took the time to walk me through what had happened and what I can do to prevent it from happening again.I really appreciate their thoroughness and their kindness. I didnt know where my internal part of my unit was, but they asked the right questions, and made sure I knew where it was for future reference.I definitely would recommend these guys, and will be happily using them in the future.

I know it has been a few weeks but i wanted to take time to sincerely thank you guys for everything. The service guy was very sweet and patient with us. He was able to walk us through using our wall mount and even returned a few days later at my request to program it to our liking. Ashley you are very nice and even though i know you are a very busy person you always took care of us. These are great people and a great business. I wish you all much success in the future. Hired to fix ac. It worked for less than 24 hours. We asked them to send someone back out. We were promised a call from the tech as he was on his last call of the day (at 2pm). It is now 615pm and no o w has called. I have called every number listed online and they all go to Ashleys voicemail. There is no emergency number and Ashley is also not calling us back.Not only was this service covered by a home warranty company, but also refrigerant was not covered and that was paid for out of pocket. Therefore 2 people are being ripped off by the lack of customer service on a 113 degree day.

Affirmative Air came out just before I went on Vacation. Rocky was polite and able to diagnose my A/C concern that day. I then setup plans to have the house worked on after returning. The house A/C system was the original (2001) and had met its maker in more than one way. This would be a toal rebuild , from the inside and outside. The installers (Ben and Ian) showed up on a Saturday morning as scheduled and worked until five in the afternoon (Phoenix, AZ summer) to get all of the parts installed. After they left, the house was nice and cool, but I had a few concerns. These were things that I went over with Rocky initially, during diagnosis. I called Rockey that Saturday and he was very understanding. I was then contacted by Mike and he had Ian and Ben come out and all concerns were addressed within 24 hours. I thank all that were involved in this A/C repair. Great job by all !!

Mike from Affirmative Air is a dream. In 2017 we went through 3 different a/c companies trying to get our a/c unit fixed. Mike came out, identified the problem and recommended we get a new unit. His entire team are pure professionals, they did a wonderful job installing our new unit, even entertaining my son with facts and the crane. Fast forward to 12/31/18, the 30 degrees temperature forced us to turn on the heat. Unfortunately the heating component was not coming on. A quick call to Ashley at Affirmative Air and Mike was on his way, almost as quick the heat was working. As I tried to pay for the service call Mike insisted it was covered, under warranty! I also love the txt message confirmations of appointments and the notification of when the technician is on their way, which includes a photo. All around my experience with Affirmative Air has affirmed my faith in small businesses. Thank you again to Mike and Ashley for all your hard work and professionalism. You are my referral for any a/c or heating issue.

I have a vacation home in Mesa and when I came in after a long travel day to get there, my air conditioner was not working : ( I found Affirmative Air Conditioning in Google and Mike came right out and had my A/C blowing cold in under an hour. I later signed up for his preventative maintenance program so I dont have any more surprises when I come into town for vacation. Very pleased with Mike and his team of air conditioning repair technicians.

I noticed my air was warm the other day and I could hear the compressor cycle off after running for a minute. I called and a Tech came out and replaced a Capacitor. It ran fine the rest of the day and night then I heard the compressor cycle on and off again. I called and explained what happened and Mike came over to take a look. He checked the unit out and replaced another part. He said all was working well and it is. Nice and cool now. He told me if anything goes wrong to give them a call. Thanks to Mike and Ashley!

I cannot say enough good things about this company. When my AC went out in 110+ weather, Mike fought with my Home Warranty company. They wanted to put back in an air handler that was full of mold. I got an entirely new unit and canceled that warranty. Really super nice group of people and I love paying for the maintenance each month to keep everything in working order. Our air conditioning quit working last fall. I was referred to Affirmative Air by a friend and called them immediately. Had great service right away and a technician was out in a short time to the house on a Saturday. He was friendly, professional and quickly found the issue. The tech did a great job explaining the issue and provided me with options and pricing. We had our air conditioning back up and running in the time promised. I had difficulties with a fan motor that refusing to stop running. Another unnamed AC company came out and couldnt fix it. Came back and said I needed a new circuit board. Still not working. They then decided I needed a new air handler. Thats when I called Mike at Affirmative AC repair.He came out for a free second opinion He ran some diagnostic tests and reprogrammed the Air handler and it was fixed. We recently moved to Arizona and our air conditioner broke down during the 110-degree heat wave. Our home warranty program really gave us a hard time and did not want to fix the problem for which we were covered. Affirmative Air came to our rescue and helped us to fix the problem, ordered the correct parts, and went above and beyond. AC goes out on Saturday, call the warranty company to schedule an appointment. Affirmative air is chosen to do the work and I speak to a nice lady named Ashley who will send a tech out Monday from 4pm to 7pm. The tech calls me at 6:36pm stating that they will be running late. I call the tech back at 8:01pm no answer. I call the company number and leave a message stating I dont know if the tech is coming still and its getting late. I got kids to put to bed, the tech calls me back stating he was about 20 to 30 minutes away and then proceeds to tell me how he does not appreciate that I called, he was coming from phoenix and then proceeds to say do you want me to come out or not? First, Im not the one late and this is not good customer service. I got a voicemail from this guy, sounded drunk. Kind of glad he didnt come over, sounds like a terrible tech and even more a terrible human being. Update* Tech sent out Wednesday morning, information not sent to the warranty company and no response from affirimitve air. Soonest someone can come out is Tuesday....... well over a week later. Well, seems like they dont care about taking care my ac problem. Calling a local ac that cares. Asked the warranty company to cancel policy and to cancel affirimitve air coming out, if they were ever going to initially.

Update: the next day we had called another company without going thru home warranty. They came today and fixed the problem. YES there was a problem. We had a bad blower motor. It wasnt pushing out enough air through the vents. It took over 5 hrs to drop 1 degree over night. I guess Affirmative Airs technician doesnt have a professional opinion after all! Beware of this company. SCAM artist and wont fix a thing wont even look at your equipment and will blame it on you!Home warranty assigned this company. Appt was from 8 am to 10 am. He came at 11:30. Within 1 minute of arriving as we explained our outside unit was humming louder than the normal and our temperature seems off in the house for past few days. He immediately responded nothing is wrong and its us. He said its 115 degrees they will run loud. I had reminded him that our temperature didnt feel the same as it was before and weve been consistent at keeping it at 78. He said our comfort level changed. He had NO intentions of looking into it. We asked him to look into this. With attitude he turned the thernostat to 74 and went outside to unit. So, what does he do? He looked at it by just glancing at it. Took nothing apart to see if we had any issues. He said if its on nothing is wrong with it. This guy was rude, unprofessional, lazy and not experienced enough to work in this field. The only time he spent was arguing that nothing was wrong. In fact he said we could pay him a million dollars and still nothing would be wrong. He said his professional opinion was nothing was wrong its just us. Ive NEVER EVER experienced a tech come and not look at anything before. Im not sure why he took the call and came out if he already had in his mind before arriving that nothing was wrong. He also at the beginning within about 90 seconds tried saying oh you want preventative work done your warranty wont cover that. I kept TRYING to tell him the temperature is not rumming properly its warmer than should be. Id give this company a zero review if I could. I am praying my air doesnt go out soon because he didnt fix or even look at anything we had reported! I have to wonder if he didnt want to actually be here because maybe he doesnt get paid from the home warranty company. I have used home warranty before and never had anyone say nothing wrong without even looking at the product first.

This company was assigned to us by our home warranty company. First scheduled for Friday, they called us at the end of the scheduled service window to say they were backed up, and asked if they could re-schedule for Saturday. Trying to be accommodating, we said OK. Then 10 minutes before they were supposed to be here on Saturday, they called and we missed the phone call. Immediately called them back, but just kept getting voice mail. Then when we finally were able to connect at the time they were supposed to be here, the technician said he had moved on and couldnt be here for another 7 hours. Gave a lame excuse that someone had called the office to reschedule, and he just assumed that it was us. Or that when we didnt pick up the phone immediately, that was why. Million excuses, and no results, and lying. Never use this company!!!

I had a technician out through my home warranty for a leaking air handler. He fixed the leak and told me he would write up a ticket to do full repairs within a few days. After he left the leak started back up and the drywall and insulation fell through. When I called the company to have him come back out for the leak he said would be stopped they didn’t return calls. Had they been more timely I could have called and hired someone else before the extensive damage had occurred to the ceiling.

Affirmative Air is a top tier company. HVAC websites stress that finding a qualified installation company is critical. Its more important then selecting the HVAC brand you want in your home. Affirmative Air is the company you want to purchase and install your air conditioning system. I needed to replace a 13 year old, 5 ton, Amana heat pump and after many hours of research I called Affirmative Air. Ashley answered the phone and after explaining the reason for my call, she assured me Mike, the owner, would contact me within a half hour. True to her word, Mike called and we discussed removing the old AC unit and replacing it with a new, high efficient, Goodman heat pump. Mike inspected our house and matched our home with the proper size unit. His quote was very competitive, the warranty (especially the compressors life time warranty) was outstanding and the unit could be installed without delay. His installation crew arrived the following morning at the scheduled time and stated removing the old unit and installing the new heat pump and air handler. After they finished and cleaned up the work area, the lead installer demonstrated how the system worked and answered all my questions. Mike met with me a few hours later to finish the paperwork and to make sure I was satisfied with the installation, the Goodman heat pump and service. I assured him I could not be happier! Its great to work with a company that puts its customers first. If you need to have your AC serviced and/or replaced, call Mike. Youll will not be disappointed.

I had Affirmative air LLC come out to fix my heating issue, at first i was told i would need to replace my compressor and i would have out of pocket expense. Not a problem but i did not want to make such an expensive repair on an older heating unit. Then David came out and told me it was in fact not my compressor it was a simple fix that was covered by my home warranty. I want to personally thank David for his working and his conversation. I did have a positive remark with Affirmative air LLC from the office lady to the technicians. I am a strong believer in leaving positive feed back when it is due. Thank you again.

Initially our experience with Affirmative Air was a good one, they came out (after having to reschedule due to their van breaking down) on a warranty claim on 7/23/2018 and identified issues with our HVAC system. We were quoted an out of pocket by Mike, after having been told we would have no out of pocket from First America. Unfortunately the replacement coil did not correct our cooling issues and we were still not seeing temps below 85 degrees during the day. The owner, Mike, came back out and adjusted the charge in hopes this would correct the issue since the split was off, the next day, we had the same issue, this continued through the weekend. It was 8/5 and we had been without functioning AC since 6/30. On Sunday Mike stated he wasnt sure what the issue was, said it could be damage to our outside unit. I explained that we had no issues last summer and there was no new damage. He stated that a new unit would not be covered under the warranty based on the assessment he would send – he said this in a threatening manner. Mike suggested we finance a new unit through him – I told him that we needed to think about it. He sent his assessment to First American and was advised they would cover a new unit replacement. The night before the install he sent a text asking us to remove the attic door/stairs – we explained that we were unable to do this, and questioned why we were responsible for this on an install – we didn’t receive a response. The next day Juan arrived and said we were supposed to have the door removed. I explained we advise Mike, in the short notice, we were unable to physically do this ourselves. Mike then called, upset that it hadn’t been done. I brought up to him, that I had checked with other AC companies and it was not the requirement of the homeowner to do this. He reminded me, again, that he’s not getting paid since it is a warranty claim. I requested he speak with FAHW since I was told I would have no out of pocket cost. Mike called back again, stating FAHW approved the removal. Juan became upset that he had to remove it – was complaining and saying he didn’t want to do it and wasn’t getting paid. In order to move forward with the installation we had to sign a release saying that Affirmative was not responsible for any damage. Juan did a very poor job of removing the attic door, caused extensive damage and cut through the metal straps. There were long, bent up nails, wood and sheet rock left all over the garage floor – where I park my truck. There was also damage to the gate accessing the outside unit. It was apparent that Mike was highly upset that he was not making any money off of us, no matter how many times he tried to give us some bogus charge and this trickled down to his crew who took it out on our home during the installation. The damage was deliberate and their demeanor unprofessional. I would NOT recommend Affirmative. they were unprofessional and never fixed our issue. In order to post this I have to give them at least 1 star - but it is not deserved.

Its summer in Phoenix and dealing with Affirmative Air has been a complete nightmare! Affirmative Air was assigned to us by First American Home Warranty. We have been dealing with Affirmative Air and First American for almost a month now to replace a failing air handler unit in a condo. Affirmative Air was first called to the condo unit to perform an inspection of the HVAC system - the assigned technician refused to enter the interior of unit to inspect air handler, instead only charging the rooftop compressor with refrigerant, then demanding warranty deductible payment. After multiple phone calls to home warranty and Affirmative Air clarifying that interior air handler was source of issue, Affirmative Air came back out a week later and confirmed that in-fact air handler was failing, and finally sent report to home warranty. New air handler was ordered and took weeks to arrive to Affirmative Air. Now Affirmative Air has equipment but refuses to immediately schedule install claiming they are too busy and backlog of work. Its been a month! Mind you we agreed to paying $1000 to Affirmative Air for install scope of work not covered by home warranty (only equipment is covered). Affirmative Air has been defensive and slow to respond every step of the process. We didnt choose to work with this contractor but have been more than patient trying to under direction of home warranty. Its 110 outside and interior of condo has no functioning ac and 60 year old tenant. Affirmative Air has no priority and is complacent! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HVAC CONTRACTOR!!!!8/22/18 UPDATE! Because I wrote a negative review about this contractor they called my Home Warranty company and claimed they didnt have a technician available anymore to perform installation of Air Handler equipment. Now Home Warranty is searching for a different, more competent, contractor to perform scope of work. THIS CONTRACTOR IS SHADY, CORRUPT, DISHONEST, MANIPULATIVE, AND HORRIBLE. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, USE THIS CONTRACTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have used Affirmative Air for ac system replacement and duct work upgrades. I am seeing a 25% decrease in my electric bill, at both of my homes, as a direct result of the upgrades. I was well informed, all of the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the recommendations were spot on. I got what I paid for and then some!

A month and a half ago Affirmative came over to diagnose my unit. Long story short some issues happened and it was not fully fixed. Irregardlesskf any ossues the owner of the Business Mike stepped in and showed his professionalism and expertise. He personally came down with his guys to review and diagnose the issue and was very thorough. I must say I am impressed. He truly is an american businessman. Hopefully I never have any more issues on this subject. I believe communication is key to resolve issues and both parties have to humble themselves for it to truly work. Mike showed me how much he dedicates to his business and I would definitely vouch for affirmative. No-one is perfect, but trying to resolve the issue and make sure things are amicable is all we can do. Thanks Mike and Affirmative Air!

I was at my vacation home in Mesa and my air conditioner broke down. Affirmative Heat and Air came out and diagnosed it as a bad compressor and installed a new Amana System on my home. It was very affordable and the Amana equipment they installed looks really nice and reduced my energy bills by about 40% in the summer months. Thanks again!
