This is WAYYYYYY Over due!!! Kens has been the family repair shop for too many years to count. Many, many times Teresa and the team has gotten my(very)-not so new lol-cars back up and running. I was taught that you are either on the FRONT side of maintenance or the BACK side and if you are caught on the Back side you will NEVER catch up!!! This is the most fair and conscientious repair facility bar none! Just a few days ago one of my vehicles was throwing faults and I suspected the AC condenser fan. The Car is a 2008 Kia Sedona with 200,000 serviced through their shop. It turned out to be both fans and the module. Was working due to air over the radiator on the highway. The car is in really great condition due to doing what is required. I have a daughter with Special needs and this is a vital tool in the arsenal!!! This little story should let you know the kind of shop this is. I dropped off car after looking at it myself and I noticed that the Oil change place I used before a Michigan Trip a Month ago only put 2 out of the 4 appearance bolt back on. I didnt tell Kens that when I dropped it off. When I picked it up for all the AC work There were two brand new bolts installed NC and I only noticed that when I opened the hood when I got home to purchase new ones myself. Its the stuff that you do not see that sets them apart! I also just recently purchased a 20 year old Truck to back up the Van or at least give myself a loaner during times that the van goes down. Teresa looked it over for me and it turns out that due to her teams constant tutelage I didnt do to bad and we are currently working from a small list of mostly wear and tear items to make it more up to the vans speed. Simply an extension of your family and a trust blanket!

I think Kens Auto is GREAT !!!I have been a customer for over 20 years and I trust nobody else to repair my autos. Theyve worked on many of my cars from new models to classic (1954). I have been going to kens auto since the late 90s their was not a problem that I had they couldnt handle..between her and pat their is over 50 years experince.....the thing that really impressed me was ken or theresa never tried to selling me something I didnt need ..thersa has been apart of the shop long before I was a customer.. the cars they have worked on 2 3500 chevy work vans chevy impala toyota sienna Ford mustang f150 their are a few more..... the 2nd thing that impressed me theresa did the best she could to get my work vans on the road assp...... Theresa was able to repair my ac lines on my sennia anyone tired with Toyota of st. Charles bs.this is a great option..... if you want to be able to say my girl mechanics is better then your boy mechanic..... well except pat of course...she wont make you a liar

They/Ken’s Auto has worked on my sons car in like July 2020. Tried to turn it into a BIG Repair.(Basic Up-sell) I declined to agree to any further work on my sons car ! I told Teresa/the manager that I wanted to get a 2nd opinion. At the same time, Ken’s Auto was also working on my 2005 Ford F-350. (Rear differential gear replacement)I purchased and supplied the ring & pinion, the seals, gaskets, all needed except the gear oil.Teresa/The manager was already giving me the runaround about “my sons car” ! So, I was very Leary of that situation ???? Ken’s auto called me and told me that my Ford F-350 is completed and ready. (I saved all texts and voicemails) I gave my Oldest son my credit card and he went to Ken’s auto to pick up the F-350 and learned that the battery was completely dead???(I was NOT there for delivery & final payment)After I spoke to my son on the phone, he took some jumper cables from my service van and connected between the van and the F-350. He successfully got the truck started. While driving the truck,(AFTER PAYING IN FULL) he learned that the rear end was slipping and something was rattling in the pumpkin, where the ring and pinion is housed. I immediately got on the phone to reach out to Teresa at Ken’s auto.After a long discussion, I was told that the truck battery was dead and they could not test drive it? (BIG TRUST ISSUE NOW)“This is an automotive Repair shop”, right???And I know for a fact that it is protocol to test drive any vehicle that is repaired by any automotive repair shop, prior to the release of a vehicle ! (this protocol is done for confirmation of repair work and for any liability/liabilities of safety and roadworthyness of delivered vehicle)I confirmed “Auto repair delivery protocols with my local Ford dealership” ! So now I have two vehicles that are still not right or repaired. My Ford truck was making such a bad noise in the rear end, that I thought the drive to the Ford dealership could make it worse? So I had to have my Ford F-350 put on a flatbed and taken to the Ford dealership. ($150 tow bill) And it was a good thing that I did. Because everything that Ken’s auto installed was not properly torqued in place and shims were falling into the pumpkin, knocking it out of balance.So now, I had given up all hope with Ken’s auto doing a quality job on any more of my vehicles. My 2005 Ford F-350 was taken to the local Ford dealership and the rearend/ring & pinion has been adjusted and re-installed properly with no other rear end issues ! I have documentation and photos of how the rear end was installed, incorrectly by Ken’s auto. I supplied all of the parts to do complete rebuild. (Again. Ken’s auto supplied gear oil.) They were also supplied with a new differential cover gasket. But Ken’s auto, never put the gasket in place.??? They just put silicone on it and it look like a hack job! Ford dealership installed the proper Gasket to seal the differential housing properly ! And, now I have a transmission problem with my Ford F-350 ? That is going to cost me over $4000 now! But, I’m not going to point the finger at Ken’s auto. Ford dealership says that it would be hard to say that they did any damage to the transmission? But it is noteworthy, that my “D” drive gear is now completely gone ???I immediately contacted my bank and have stopped the credit card payment to Ken’s auto services and repairs.Note: KEN’s AUTO STILL HAS MY SONS CAR ON THEIR PROPERTY AND WILL NOT RELEASE IT ??? I told them as I stated in the beginning of this review that I wanted to get a second opinion on the repairs, Ken’s auto was claiming to be needed ? (My Sons Car)I WANT MY SONS CAR AND IF KENS AUTO REFUSES, AGAIN TO RELEASE THE SAID CAR ?I will have no choice but to take legal action, that will only cost both of us more money. But, I’m sure a good attorney can make a case for punitive damages by this company? Considering what was done to my Ford F-350 and documented by the local Ford dealer !!!!And especially, not even test driving the truck to see if it was safe to go on the road?

What a great experience I had getting a strange noise fixed on my truck! I thought it was the water pump and it ended up being something else that was easier to fix! The repair was done quickly and fairly, Im super happy with everything!

This place is the best! Weve been going to them for a few years now, and they always do an excellent job. Recently my car was having some trouble starting. They got me right in, had the issue fixed by the following morning, along with my front brakes and did an oil change, all at a reasonable price!

They never paid attention to me and they checked my car and they didnt tell me what I had, I asked them and they didnt tell me anything and instead of a workshop, its a mechanics school for women, thats what I looked at.
