Seriously the best haircut Ive ever had. Rosie is something else with those clippers. Ive been to alot of different places & even tried a few seats out at this place. If I have the time, I will always try to get faded here.

Barber I got asked my if I wanted a line and I said just do the sides only and attempt to do my hairline which I didnt even want. Homie seemed like he was trying to rush my cut instead of keeping a steady paced. I said I wanted my hair combed up and trimmed a little and after he trimmed he started to comb my hair sideways like I am a homie named carl. lol but at least I fixed it. They need to start listening and making sure what their patients want.

Took my kiddos and my husband! It was not a good experience. Didnt use the straight blade, after asking them to. My two year olds hair was sticking up.not cut properly. (He has been going to the barbershop since he was 10 months old) my 9 year olds hair was gapped up, my husband was getting hair, face and beard. They rushed, and his beard was uneven.It took 30 mins to cut 3 hair. If that tells you anything! Seems like they only care about the $ and not there work! I was a disappointed 😒

Highly recommend Hector who is the first barber on the left when you enter. Been going for around two and a half years and have always gotten a great cut. I would recommend asking for a number to make appointments since they are getting busier and busier. Reasonable prices too. Would recommend 10/10

Enrique? Whatever your name is. The worst barber there hands down. I went in to get a mid skin fade and to trim off some of my hair on the top. My first problem is he does not know how to handle clipper and he drives the clipper with no guard into your skin as if he was scratching and peeling your skin off, he thinks if you press harder with the clipper more hair is going to come off. He definitely rushed his cut because I was out of there in 40 minutes, to me, A fade should take a minimum of one hour. My second problem is that I showed him multiple images of how I wanted my cut, but that doesn’t matter because he’s trying to get as many cuts at the end of the day. My hairline is crooked and he cut my hair completely wrong. I’m debating whether or not to buzz it because it will actually look better because my current cut, he actually attempted to make it look nice, which is sad. I have not had bad experiences with the other barbers at the shop, just him and particularly.

I went in for a haircut with a referral from a friend. First time around, maybe I wasn’t vocal enough about exactly what I wanted done. “Light fade into a scissor on top” I said. So I end up with a beautiful fade but it does not blend into the top at all, which in my past experiences is what i preferred. I say to myself, (my bad) maybe I wasn’t specific enough about exactly what I wanted - so I go in a second time. I say the same thing, but get into more specifics. I’m sitting there and the man isn’t even looking at my head while he’s cutting it. He’s talking to a friend to his right. With me being a customer, I feel I should be made to feel more welcome in someone’s shop. That was the opposite of this case, being if I asked a question it was as if he didn’t understand me, and I’d repeat myself and he’d shrug it off in agreement only to go back to arguing with his friends in the shop. He didn’t change the guard on the clippers once (even with me asking about it, and asking if he was doing a fade). I walked out with single guard buzzed undercut, shaved all the way to the top, with uneven length on my left side of my head going into the scissor cut (notably an inch and a half +). I wish I got the barbers name, because the second haircut was a monstrosity. I hate to leave the shop a bad review as a whole, but I really walked out of there feeling near humiliated and the employees there should not make someone feel dumb for asking questions about the haircut they are paying money for. I also should not have to feel like I’m intruding on some sort of ‘hangout’ or group discussion just because I’m not of Dominican or generally Latin orientation. I was really dissatisfied because I had heard good things, and had high hopes of finding a new barber who could get me right regularly. I don’t think I got the barber I was referred to and I will not be coming back to find the right one, sadly.

HORRIBLE HAIRCUT!! TERRIBLE LINES!!The haircut my boyfriend received from them today looks so bad! Its not well done, its sloppy and messy! And now were going to have to spend more money somewhere else to get it fixed!! Also, they didnt seem to respect the order of the line/wait list. Cant help but think they rushed through the haircut because they had a line of waiting customers which is totally unfair to the person in the chair who is expecting a decent haircut for $17! They still received a tip from us, and in my eyes it wasnt earned! The waiting line can be ridiculously long as you can see in above pictures! If you know your business is going to have a lot more clients on specific days you should plan for that and bring in more barbers during the weekend to help with those OUTRAGEOUS lines! Overall experience was just terrible and not worth the money or the time spent waiting! NEVER GOING BACK!!

Great shop! The gentleman that cut my hair didnt speak much English but that didnt stop him from perfecting every detail of my haircut and Im very satisfied! My hair has never looked this good and my fiance is in love with it. Will definitely come back soon.

Well a few weeks ago I saw a couple of kids having fun sword fighting near the front of the shop, and one of the employees poked his head out of the barber shop and clearly called the two boys f**gots. Not saying they are all bad, but the door was open and his manager could have clearly heard him. I find it cowardly and disrespectful to pick on kids and use such language when doing so.

While it says Dominican barbershop they have no problem and no issues cutting anybodys hair as a white guy in there they treated me with no differently than any other customer and then it is to do it incredibly good job on my hair Im incredibly satisfied 10 out of 10 five out of five whatever you want to call it

Best barber shop in Gainesville!! Recommend going midweek to avoid the rush, but the barbers are true professionals who will have you looking and feeling great.

Waited a hour for hair cut. Got hair cut from guy in back with big man bun on top of his head. Man does not know how to do fade properly. He looked like he didnt know what he was doing. Really bad cut from this individual for high price. Was not worth it.

Which barber you get matters so much here. Also, speaking Spanish goes a long way. Ive never had a bad cut here, but sometimes I dont get what I want and thats annoying. They can cut hair of all ethnicities which is a big plus.

They provided me with a basic mans haircut, a perfect standard trim which I needed - they cater to walk ins , I only had to wait 2 hours.

I waited in line for two hours for a haircut. Since I didnt speak Spanish I kept getting gutted as well. Great fades if you can get past the language barrier for any non Spanish speakers.

I want to say, to the people that talk trash about the shop, there is a lot of people that complain about the wait. The reason why on weekends is so busy and why some people just walk in and take the spot of the ones who are waiting is becasuse they have appointments which they pay more to get the advantage of not waiting and i am happy to pay $25 and $5 to $10 tip , this is the first Dominican barbershop that started in Gainesville and i come from New York where it works the same way. Another thing is that if you get a hair cut that doesnt satify your needs then that doesnt mean you have to go somewhere else and pay to get it fixed , they will be more than happy to fix the haircut. People have to understad that there will be new barbers who are learning in the process. But just because ONE Barber may have messed up that doesn’t mean that every single Barber in there is not good at what they do. Reviews like that is where it messes up the reputation of a business. Try Chris the barber he has awesome customer service skills and speaks English Fluently, and will cut anyone no matter what color you are. I have seen his Clients that come from all over.

Awful customer service, bad vibes all around, length of a wait time, shady barbers. Unless you want to waste your time on waiting, I highly doubt you want to go. You can wait for a hour for a simple fade just so they can send you away. Ive seen them do it to other customers even when they are not busy.In other words, son unos hijos d la gran pu.

These people suck. I tried to tell my barber how I want the length of my hair and he hit me with a I know how to do the cut. After the fact that he messed me up he then trys to blame it on my hair being too thin.

I went through the city, because I needed a cut, but I disliked something that I saw, but because of the Pandemic in which we find ourselves and everything should be perfectly clean, there was one of the barbers lying down and with his feet on the furniture where they have the tools To cut, that little professionalism, they should be more careful with the staff and not allow that kind of negligence.
