Well thanks for coming out and replacing the igniter in my oven. Also, thanks for that not being the issue and the oven still doesn’t fully function. No thank you, I will not pay another visit fee so that you can once again troubleshoot the same problem you came out for in the first place. So after 90 days the oven still doesn’t work properly. If I was half as bad at my job as this experience, I would be looking for employment elsewhere. But great business model if you never want repeat customers!!

Your company Raytech Appliance Services was referred as a delivery service provider by Whirlpool corporation.  Back on 05-28-2021 Whirlpool submitted a work order for a new refrigerator replacement to be shipped directly to your company from the manufacturer.  Whirlpool explained that once the refrigerator arrives at Raytech they will call me and schedule a refrigerator delivery. On 05-28-2021, I called Raytech to confirm and verified they have my contact information.  I talked to Ms. Pauline Santiago (customer service) and she verified all on my information and she explained once the new refrigerator arrives at Raytech they will contact me and schedule a delivery date and time.On 07-08-2021 I still have not received any updates and decided to call both Whirlpool and Raytech for a status update.  Whirlpool explained that the refrigerator is still pending and on back order.  Whirlpool also explained that I should double check with Raytech.  On 07-08-2021 I called Raytech and talked to Ms. Carrie.  Ms. Carrie explained to me the refrigerator still has not arrived at Raytech.  She also explained that Raytech will refuse and not accept the refrigerator.   She explained due to manpower issues they are unable to delivery the refrigerator. On 07-20-2021 I called Whirlpool to get a status update.  Whirlpool explained the refrigerator is still on back order.  I also explained to Whirlpool that Raytech advised they do not have the manpower and are unable to deliver the refrigerator once it arrives at Raytech.  Whirlpool explained that they will contact Raytech themselves to confirm this information.  Whirlpool was able to contact Raytech and they confirmed they will not be able to deliver the refrigerator.I visited Raytechs website and left my concerns and comments. I did not receive any response from Raytech, and still as of today I havent received a response.  Maybe they will respond to these comments here.Overall I am very upset and very disappointed with how this situation was handled.  I understand the fact that the refrigerator is still on back order, however I am disappointed on how the customer service was handled.  When I initially called on 05-28-2021 and talked to Ms. Pauline Santiago she did not explain to me about the manpower issue or how Raytech would not be able to deliver the refrigerator.  This is poor customer service and Raytech failed to contact both Whirlpool and myself about this manpower delivery issue.  If you cannot accept the delivery job, then you need to follow-up and let both the customer and Whirlpool know!!  This is a big waste of time, money and delivery resources on Raytechs part.  Again I am very disappointed!!

Our service tech Lionel was prompt, called when enroute, quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered parts and we set a new appointment for completion. Again, I was called to set an earlier appointment because parts came in sooner. I was called a half hour before arrival and the repair was quick and efficient. Communication, pricing and expertise were on point. I would recommend and use this company again.

Disappointing experience, called them because my top oven wasn’t heating. Was told it was the igniter and waited a month and a half for the to get the part and replace the igniter. Except that after testing the igniter, they didn’t actually test that my oven worked. Was told I had to pay for a separate service appointment for them to come trouble shoot again. I wouldn’t have been frustrated except that I specifically called because the oven doesn’t work, not for a part to be replaced, why would they not make sure the oven worked before leaving? I’m ok paying for more service but what guarantee is there that after another month I wouldnt be in the same situation? At this point I have no faith they aren’t going to charge me individual visit fees to spot troubleshoot and not actually fix the issue of my oven not being functional.

I couldnt be happier! My dishwasher was not cleaning the top shelf so I called for service. I was pleased to meet the owner who was very knowledgeable and presented me with my options. He suggest not just the part but the motor might need replacing. He was trying to let me decide if I wanted to proceed or just purchase a new machine. I appreciate his honesty in trying to save me some money. I did ask him to proceed with the estimate, and I was fortunate that only a small part needed to be replaced. Within one week, I was able to stop washing the glasses by hand. A wonderful company that I would call again.

The first appointment we the tech was to be here between 9-12. My husband works 3rd shift. I got a call (which my number was the secondary number) at 8:12 in the morning which I did not hear stating that the tech was on the way and would be there in 20 min. Well we missed this call and had the alarm set for 8:50 to make sure we got up and got downstairs. I realized I had a VM from them and when we called the tech back at 9:02 we were told he had already left and was 10 miles away. Mind you our appointment just passed and when he got there and got no response from the door knocking he didt bother to call again. So... we called and had to reschedule the appointment this time we did it later in the day 12-3 and when that day came I yet again got the call that they were on the way. My husband was at home and I was told they would be there in 30 min I told them I was running errands that my husband was already there and that I would be home as well shortly. Well I pulled in 40 min later and no tech. Yet again someone had come and gone and didnt bother to call while there at all. I reached out to the company and never heard a things back.

We had Raytech Appliance Service fix our high-end Samsung French door refrigerator. We paid a lot for that fridge and after just a couple of years it was making a horrible grinding sound, stopped maintaining temperature in the fridge portion and the ice maker never did seem to work properly (kept freezing up). The Raytech repairman was very familiar with all of these Samsung issues. We ordered parts, they came out and in just a couple of hours all problems were addressed. They kept us informed throughout the process, were very professional, and exercised great COVID-19 awareness and precautions during their short visit. Its been a couple of months now and this fridge is running better than brand new. Were so glad we went with Raytech and I HIGHLY recommend them!

Our 2 year old LG refrigerator has stopped cooling and freezing for the 2nd time. After pulling my hair out for an hour, going back and forth between LG and Sears, I was finally put in touch with Raytech. Carrie was amazing! She was able to move things around and schedule my diagnostic inspection in less than a week. After hanging up the phone, she called me back 5 minutes later to schedule my repair with the soonest available appointment. That was callback was above and beyond what was expected. She knew that we were having to keep our food in coolers and constantly having to buy ice and wanted to make sure that our repair was done as soon as possible. I spent an hour on the phone with 2 companies that couldnt get their act together. Carrie and Raytech were able to solve the same issue in 5 minutes. I would also like to add that the LG and Sears representatives sounded like robots. Carrie was a absolute delight that used her brain and heart and not a corporate script. Thank you Carrie!

I sincerely appreciate his efforts and would highly recommend Raytech Appliance for repairs to any appliance. Thanks so much, keep up the positive work and your company will continue to excell.

I honestly wish I could give a better review, because the repair tech that came out was great and fast, but there is a reason why Raytech has a 2.5-star rating.Long story short with Raytech, they do not do a good job of disclosing your *actual* costs for repairs to a dryer.-Short version: theyre going to lure you in with a $98 service charge (works like a deposit), charge a minimum of $148 for labor costs, and then replace more than what is needed ($150+ in parts). The fun part is that they wont quote you on anything other than the $98 service call.-Long version: I called over a week ago to arrange a repair appointment, and told the customer service tech that I purchased my own part because I already traced the problem. All that we discussed was a $98 service charge that is later applicable to a repair charge. There was no mention of a minimum charge or work warranty implications.Yesterday, the repair tech came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. It was the same problem that I diagnosed. He stated that would have to order the necessary part, and I asked him if he could repair my dryer with the part that I ordered. He said yes, but the part is not covered under warranty. I said no problem. He got the dryer working, it blew hot air again, and all is right with the world. He was in and out the door in a total of 40 minutes. Again, very nice and professional. Now the fun part. First load of laundry through the dryer comes out damp. The dryer isnt working, and it hadnt even been 24-hours since the repair.I call... the story that I now get is that since I provided the part, the labor and the service call are not under warranty, and further, if they had done the repair that they wanted to do, they would have replaced the $125+ *heating element*, even though that wasnt the issue. Even further, the CS tech stated that the minimum labor cost is $148. They were completely unwilling to work with me on reducing the cost of having them come out again, and the whole process of re-diagnosing the problem plus ordering the part plus the actual repair would have taken at least two weeks. (How long are you willing to go commando?)So, now the choice is to a) wait another week to spend at least another $300 to fix a $600 (for a total of $450 on repairs and $204 for vent cleaning), 5-year old dryer, or b) just buy a new one and have it by Tuesday. This was an expensive lesson in cleaning dryer vents every two years.

Horrible customer service and ridiculous prices. Before they even take a look into your problem they charge you $40 regardless of the outcome of their service. My LG Portable A/C has been sitting on their floor for a week even though they have the parts to service it for no reason other than Our repair guy doesnt have a spare hour to fix it until Wednesday.. I would have no problem paying the initial $40 fee if the work was done quickly. But, not only is the work they do poor, it is also ineffective. This is the second time I have left this particular A/C unit with them and the last time I paid them $40 to tell me they Could not recreate my problem after it sat for a week on their floor cooling their office. So far I have paid a total of $80 for them to do absolutely nothing with my A/C; Garbage business and garbage work, DO NOT recommend.

Never had anything to do with the appliance repair part but I did have an unpleasant encounter with one of their drivers. First he was blocking traffic because he could, deliberately driving 55 in the left-hand lane, paralleling other drivers and just enjoying himself. I finally got around him, flipped him off, and suddenly that RayTech Appliance Service van was going 70 mph to try to keep up with me, chasing me some 20 miles at high speed, weaving in and out of traffic, still being a real jerk but doing it a lot faster. They may be just fine and dandy at appliance repair. Had to wait for an appt. to have our dishwasher fixed. I cleaned out most of the standing water or as much as I could. Tech said the pump was bad and would order a new one. We should have it in a week. Waited and waited for a call. When I finally call and get someone on the phone I was told he couldnt finish the job. No notice, no explanation etc. Told the manufacturer that it had an odor. Well, duh! Appliances with standing water are going to have an odor. Now after two weeks I have to wait for another company and have them come out to tell me they have to order a part. So not impressed with tech or customer service. Do not use them!

I was extremely disappointed with Raytechs customer service (or lack thereof) After a problem with my refrigerator was diagnosed, the technician refused to repair it, stating that even though he knew what was wrong with the unit as well as how to fix it, I really should just have the manufacturer come out instead (to the tune of another service charge from another company). When I told the scheduling office that I really just wanted them to come fix it since it was clear they knew how and they are, in fact, a repair business (to whom Id already paid a service fee to diagnose the problem), I was refused an appointment. A total waste of my time and my $70 for the service charge. Would not recommend, and will never use again.

I am very dissatisfied with this repair company. I ordered a repair on a maintenance agreement with Frigidaiire. Their repair technician was very nice and polite and diagnosed the issue in the way that the manufacturer indicated in the manual after speaking with the manufacturer. He said they would need to order ports. Then I got a call from the Electrolux Service Company saying that Rayotech could not order the parts and we would have to go through the process with another company. Rayotech evidently has a bad relationship with the parts supplier and cannot get parts. If this is true they wont be in business very long.

My KitchenAid refrigerator developed a leak inside the refrigerator part, and the repair was performed effectively and on the days scheduled.I had a pleasant experience dealing with everyone at Raytech. The receptionist who answered my initial call was friendly and courteous. Adam the repairman arrived in the early part of the three-hour window. He was very knowledgeable of the KitchenAid refrigerator. He diagnosed the problem (cracked water reservoir) and mentioned that there were two technical service bulletins issued for our model, and if we had known of them, the freezing that apparently caused the cracked water reservoir probably wouldnt have happened. The TSBs were free repairs, so he ordered those parts as well, and suggested we ask KitchenAid to cover the parts and labor since it looked to be an avoidable problem. So KitchenAid ended up agreeing with Adams written diagnosis and covered the parts and labor for the repair, and as mentioned before Adad the repairman also fixed the items from the technical service bulletins as well.My only issue is that my initial $78 charge for the first visit to come out and diagnose the problem apparently isnt part of the free parts and labor warranty, but since the refrigerator was outside of that portion of the warranty already and I was expecting to pay for the part anyway, it was about an even swap.I would probably call Raytech in the future if another appliance goes down and needs fixing.Overall a fine experience with the receptioniste and Adam the repairman in April and May 2015.
