We just moved in a few days ago, so I can speak only about our move in experience. Sara Edwards was the contact person for which I have done all of my communications. She is amazing. From the very beginning, all the way to the end. She was very courteous, professional, prompt. The day we got the keys she had everything ready, sat down with us and went over everything. She explained everything to us in detail. She asked if we had questions and told me how to contact her if any did arise. Overall I’d say it was a five star experience. Her customer service skills are top notch, she truly was the sweetest. As for the complex it’s self. It seems like a quiet, convenient, clean, well kept place to live. There are kids playing, it’s quiet at night. It’s perfect so far.

Its probably called Breezewood because communication with the staff and application process was a breeze. Very simplified move in process. The tenant portal is easy to navigate and very user friendly. The community as a whole is very quiet and sirene and definitely conveniently located around stores and entertainment. Overall so far a good experience. The only thing I would improve upon is lighting in the building during the day and checking mailbox keys prior to tenant move in. Good Job Folks!

Breezewood was the first place my wife and I moved to after we had gotten married. Excited to move in our first place. Im not trying to speak negative of breezewood but they sometimes lack in the communication department. The manager never got back to us when we had an issue with a broken mailbox key as to what their policy was to get a new one. Early on when we got the apartment we paided a prorated rent for the 1st month and full rent for the next month ;which I anticipated no issue with that. The issue was when the next month came their company (Apartment gallery) tried to say it was our fault that we set the auto pay up wrong and had to pay a late fee for rent paid in advance even after we followed what the lady in the breezewood office said to do. When we moved in there were already carpet issues: old, lifted up in certain areas. We documented these thing early on so that we wouldnt be charged for them later. Low and behold we were charged anyway. We were there 5 years and were charged for the walls because they had stains but theyre gonna paint anyway. I feel we were more than outstanding tenants. Never missed a single rent payment, always picked up after our pet and no noise complaints. They claim they have photos of the things theyre charging for but didnt forward them to us to see. I didnt think we would be charged for natural wear and tear; after 5 years. I will be calling Breezewood for a further explanation on Monday. I would rather them say up front that they dont usually give the majority of the deposit back then screw us over. I dont think I can ever give them my business ever again moving forward or recommend anyone else moving there.

I have nothing but good things to say about Breezewood. I have lived here for two years and have absolutely no complaints. I Lived in a 1 bedroom apartment and I very much enjoyed my living here in this community. The staff in the leasing office are amazing! Maintenance staff are awesome as well. (I really didn’t have any issues with my unit that required them to be there more than their quarterly scheduled maintenance) I would recommend this place. I never had any issues like what’s previously commented. Rent was affordable. This was my first apartment when I was shopping I was looking for something affordable while also being in a relatively safe area. I felt like that was fulfilled with Breezewood.

I rented a one bedroom apt here for 6 months while I was remodeling my house. I live alone except for two cats. I am recovering from a serious injury. So My cooking is very light. Microwave or order out. However when I moved to Breezewood the kitchen counter had a burn spot and also a spot where it looked like a paint can had been set. I did not report it. I had not had a walkthrough and just trusted that the apartment managers knew this. But I also have several witnesses that it was like that when I moved there. Even the movers mentioned it. But when I moved I was charged for recovering the counter. Also my cats did no harm. I understood that just because of them the carpet would have to be cleaned. That I accept. But I am an honest person and had I damaged anything in that apt I would have reported it myself. So I was the trusting fool. People do not be like me. Get that walk through and maybe even take pictures. I was not looking for a top of the line apt. Just a safe place to stay while my house was being worked on. And thought I had it. Just didnt know how dishonest the managers were. I will never remember these days of my life with good feelings.

My fiance and i lived here for one year and over all it was pretty good. We never had a problem with the staff everyone was always very kind. Whenever we had a problem with the place maitenence was always there in a jiffy and they too were kind and respectful. The only problems we had were bugs that would get in even though we hardly opened our windows. There were mice outside the apartment itself, living in the walls. Never saw them inside though. We did complain but nothing was really done. And also whenever it rained it would leak in our kitchen cause the walls were poorly designed. Never really heard my neighbors. It was a safe place. No break ins and my car was always ok. It was nice being able to walk to the 711. Oh and they never fixed the AC in the gym.

We were hesitant to come visit these apartments because of the rating and prior comments regarding breezewood.... BUT... I dont really know about all those old posts considering they are almost more than a year old... but I would say that my husband and I love our apartment! Whenever there is a problem the mantience staff is very attentive and they come fix the problem quickly, and efficiently. The front office ladies Amber and Kirsten are awesome very personable (and not at all rude, as previously stated in the prior comments..... hello people management does change over time). They answer every call and every question no matter how simple it maybe.. I love the spaciousness of the closets. Its very quiet for the most part, clean and a safe neighborhood... I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking.

The apartments themselves are ok, however my experience with the office staff has been sub-par... They keep regular business hours instead of something that would actually be helpful for those living here (like 10-6 or 10-7), so for those who have 9-5 jobs, youll either have to leave for work late or leave work early so that you can handle any business with them - such as picking up a package that they are holding or filling out paperwork.

This place is so inhuman and greedy! I went to the office to let them know that I need to move out (5 months left on my lease). I have a daughter that has cancer and has had a bone marrow transplant and she is not doing well. I explained to them that I need to move in with her and take care of her and her young daughter. They cared nothing about my situation. No consideration to the circumstances were given. I was told in order to move out early I would have to pay $3400!!!!.Thats 4 months rent when I only have 5 months left on my lease..I explained that I didnt have this kind of money. The property manager suggested that I borrow it from someone or let it go to collections and pay as I can!!! Another words ruin my credit so they can collect this rediculous amount of money!!!!! Unfortunately I have to stay the length of my lease and cannot move to help my daughter!!! These people are disgusting.I would never recommend this place to anyone!

I rented a 1 bed/1bath apartment 3-4 years ago. The apartment itself was decent, nothing lavish. The issues I had were with the leasing office/management team. Notice the pattern in each of these reviews: management is rude or unprofessional. I did not appreciate the amount of inspections this place will have where they want to go in your apartment while youre not home.Youre subject to outrageous fees and you will likely loose your deposit at move out. The Property Manager did not improve the reputation of this complex either. There is a lack of willingness to communicate with you directly. She hides in her office and does not wish to put forth the effort in assisting residents. Save yourself the headache and pick an alternative community.

There administrative staff is very difficult to deal with. I have had a few problems with them. They want to charge you fees when the apartment gallery screws up. I have had my rent check lost and even they switched my electric by accident back into there name and charged me a fee for that. I always pay my bills and very financially stable. I have good credit but, I am very afraid this place will take a few points off because of there lack of administrative skills. Thats just the office. The apartment itself is nice to look at but when you live here you can hear you neighbor fart from the next floor up. I can hear there cat walking on the floor. The walls are very thin. If your on the bottom floor be prepared for there to be at least 3 AC units to be outside your window where it sounds like the are in the room with you. My sister lives here too in a different layout of the 2 bedroom and while in the bathroom, I could hear the neighbor taking a crap next to me. The price is not to bad but you do pay for what you get. there are at least 3 cars that park by me that have never moved since I have been here for 8 months. All of my neighbors keep to themselves and the pool is nice. Its probably stupid but we got this letter about throwing cigarette butts into the mulch and how it burns buildings down and 2 weeks later they put mulch around all of the BBQ grills. I think that would be the best way to describe this place. The plus side is that it does have a 7-11 close.

Horrible place to live, the prices seem great at first. They will charge you ungodly fees, lose rent, and wont forward your mail after youve moved out. I lived there for 1 and 1/2 years, theyve lost, or messed up my roommates and I rent 7 times, then would charge us fees for not paying it on time. Malika (the only employee who had stayed with the company through the years Ive lived there) has absolutely NO costumer service skills. My mother told me to be careful of this place when I moved out because of the reviews on here, I wish I would of trusted her. So much frustration, time, and money spent on this place. I wish theyd be closed down. If I could give them less than one star I would. Save yourself and do not rent from here.

BE CAREFUL. After filling out what kind of dog I have 4 times in the process of paperwork to move in, when it came time to move in they told me to bring a picture of my dog. When I brought it in they said she was a pitbull mix and was a restricted breed. I told them that no, she was not a pit mix, and gave them records from 4 different vets that all had her down as a lab/ terrier mix, which I had stated to them in the 4 times before when I was filling out information. They then proceeded to tell me that when they google a picture of a pit/lab mix, it looks like the picture of my dog. I told them that I understand but I have records from 4 professionals saying otherwise. They then told me that a terrier means a pitbull... as if a Yorkshire Terrier is the same as a pit. Even after showing my records and explaining everything, they told me that it is up to them to decide over professionals and told me on MOVE IN DAY that I had to give up my dog or not move in to the apartment. Never had a problem before with my dog living with me in pet restricted complexes. This was all after I had filed paperwork, collected money and had utilities to begin in the apartment I was supposed to be moving in to. If the whole thing is that a terrier means a pitbull, how come that was not mentioned when I had stated it before? And who are they to argue with 4 vets on what kind of breed she is. All of this happened on the day of move in after I had taken time off of work to move in and figure this out. EXTREMELY unprofessional to wait the day of to bring it up. If I would have known from the beginning that the way a pet looks is more important than legal records of what she is, then I never would have signed the lease to move in. Be careful when trying to move in, as they seem to change things on you last minute, not caring what professional records say, and not caring at all if it leaves you in a bad state.

Im kind of surprised to see so many negative posts. I am about to renew my lease for a 3rd year and so far I havent had any issues (knock on wood). The grounds are very well taken care of, every time Ive called for maintenance they have been there and fixed the issue within an hour or two. Ive never had issues with parking (make sure you have your sticker and that visitors park in visitor parking). They just put new windows and sliding doors in about a year ago which brought down my electric bill. Ive never had any bad experiences dealing with office staff. If I have to search for a negative: the dryers seem to take 2-3 tries to make sure all the clothes are dry and there is ONE lifeguard at the pool who is offputting and a little militant which makes our pool experience a little anxious lol...BUT, pool is nice, never seems super busy, clean, plenty of seating. Also want to mention I LOVE the maintenance staff...very friendly, knowledgable, and respectful when they come into your apartment.I hope when I move next year (buying a house) I dont have a bad experience. Id be surprised if I did. Id definitely recommend this apartment.

This place was fine to actually live in. We thought it was nice for the first year. Where they get you is in fines, tickets etc. My husband went out hunting one day and they even called the cops on us because he was carrying his bow ((IN CASE)) back into our apartment. The cops just laughed and didnt do anything obviously, but where do these people get off? Also, when we moved out they got us for some carpet fee which was fine, but Breezewood sent the invoice to the WRONG FORWARDING ADDRESS, never called us to tell us then hit us with 5 months of late fees and sent a debt collector after us. Sorry breezewood but we cant pay for something that we didnt know we owed. When we called to talk about it they said not to worry about the late fees-- they would take care of it-- 3 months later another debt collector contacts us to pay the late fees, we call breezewood they say the same thing we are sorry dont worry about it we will take care of it. 3 months later the same thing. This goes on for almost 2 YEARS. My husband and I just paid the debt to help our credit but please DO NOT live here. These people are crooks and shady.

Worst experience of my life! I applied for an apartment at this place and they seemed extremely fishy, they told me I needed to pay these fees during the application process but had NO apartment to show me. One of the leasing managers advised me that the apartment wouldnt be available for almost two months and would not be able to show me any pictures until then. When giving her a portion of my money she advised that the money was refundable if I did not like what I saw. A few weeks pass along, no pictures, no contact...so I became concerned. I checked on the status of the money order I gave them, of course, cashed. I later am informed that my security deposit would be FOUR times the amount originally mentioned because of my credit score (and they would not provide me with that report either, and I know my credit score isnt awful). This amount was more than the first months rent as well. Of all places in the world, Ive never EVER had to pay that much for a security deposit. I requested a refund and I was declined. When going to speak with the managers about it they gave me the run around and continuously pointed at the application I filled out but had NO rebuttal on the information I was originally told. When requesting contact information for the chain of command the leasing manager refused several times to give me the information. When walking out the leasing manager not only called me a b*tch but stuck her middle finger up at me and slammed the office door in my face. I work in customer service and I would have immediately lost my job. I knew they were bad news from the moment I filled out the application because I saw how RUDE she was to her already existing tenants. Im still seeking to report the incident to someone. I can take the money as a loss but as for the lack of professionalism and disrespect, I cant get over it. I did not even get the chance to live in this neighborhood and Im glad. I feel bad that the leasing manager had so much hate in her heart, towards a person that she didnt even know. She was immediately defensive when I politely requested my refund. Something just isnt right about that place...

Worst apartment complex Ive ever dealt with! My fiancé and I have nothing but complaints for this establishment! From being woken up to lazy landscapers acting like they are busy, (leaf blowing hallways without actually removing any of the debris they were after), to less than 24 hour notice for apartment maintenance. The icing on the cake was moving. I brought my move out notification to the office. No problem, I was told I would receive information in the mail regarding payment and anything else that was involved. Never received it. I called three separate times trying to gain information about the situation. Finally three days later I receive a call back. A call in which did not answer any of my question. They refused to send me said vital paperwork stating how to pay them simply because my fiancé had asked them a few questions prior to us moving, apparently expecting her to memorize everything the they had said. I contacted them to resolve the issue only for the rude lady to argue with me about the conversation she had with my fiancé stating she wasnt going to give me the information since she gave my fiancé the information VERBALY. Which lead to her hanging up the phone when I expressed that I still need information. Everyone, save yourselves the headache and find somewhere else.
