Although my carpeting didnt get as clean as I had hoped, I was overall pleased with the service. I appreciated William Salmelas professionalism and personableness. He arrived on time, did the best he could and explained why he believed the spotting didnt clean-up as well as I had hoped. I dont blame Stanley Steemer-its likely time to replace the carpeting. Bottom line question-Would I hire them back or recommend them? My answer is a resounding-ABSOLUTELY!

To edit my previous review, which I wasnt happy with he service. Stanley Steamer scheduled a re-work appointment to address some trouble areas. This pass was much better than the first and was acceptable. The crew was very professional and explained what they were going to do and was able to explain things that didnt come out, though they were improved. Happier customer.

The team who arrived were courteous and professional and performed their job excellently. My carpets were pretty dingy before but their cleaning made a remarkable difference and I feel safe hugging my floor again! Will definitely use again in the near future!

Staff is friendly and professional. Took time to confirm my requirements at the beginning and reviewed the results when they were finished. Cleaned 6 areas in under an hour and successfully removed pet stains. The carpets look great and the house smells so much better.

We had renters in our home who had cats. Our hardwood floors were disgusting. The two techs who arrived were very professional, considerate and were in and out very quickly. The floors looked 10x better than they had.

Marcus and Shawn arrived promptly and were very professional. I recently moved to an apartment with some older but good furniture, made by Ethan Allen and Pottery Barn, which needed some cleaning. These gentlemen took care to look for cleaning codes on the fabric to ensure they used the correct products. They were fast and efficient and very polite. I will use Stanley Steemer again and request Marcus and Shawn to be the technicians.

This experience wasnt great. I wasted a whole day for the cleaning. The suction on the machine seemed to have broken or stopped working and instead of 8hrs to dry it took at least 12. There were numerous treatable spots left on the carpet after the cleaning. If I could post pics I would. They didnt take care to pretreat the high traffic areas thereby when the carpet dried there was only a slight difference. I probably will not do business with them again. I asked the techs several times not to walk on my carpet they did anyway.

As a former employee I can tell you this company is crooked as can be. The owners make all the money and pay their employees as little as possible, that is unless your family, which the family that owns it, also works there. Ill start off by saying if you as a customer, are any ethnicity other than white, most of the cleaners will do as little as possible to get the job done and will take as many short cuts as possible. Also if your house is scheduled to be cleaned, they will take as long as possible to get to you as they are running personal errands on company time. The deodorizer that a lot of customers request is diluted so much so that the smell will disappear very shortly after because it is mostly water. They only allow 2 employees to clean wood flooring, meaning they do not care enough to train their staff to do so, which in turn can push your appointment to a different day. A lot of the time requests for shoe covers and masks are ignored. As either an existing customer or a customer who was considering using this business, I hope this makes you think twice before making an appointment. There are many other companies that will an excellent job.

I reused Stanley Steemer to clean my carpets because I was impressed with their service 6 months ago and again yesterday. The two gentlemen was courteous and professional. There was a call to let me know when they would arrive. The cleaners worked efficiently, one worked the cleaning wand and the other moved then replaced each movable piece of furniture placing protective items under the legs to protect the damp carpet. I would use them again.

Stanley Steemer came out to clean a white loveseat and chair from one room and an area rug . .white, too, from another room. . .They didnt HAVE to be cleaned. . but we thought they needed a refresh. While my husband said the guys worked pretty hard for 45 minutes, the furniture is left with water stains from their work that we will need to cover with pillows or throws. . .They did not clean the chair arm protectors (same material as the chair) at all. . They were thrown aside even though they were on the chair. They did a very nice job on the rug.

This was my first time using Stanley Steemer. They were prompt, professional, and did the job quickly. Elijah was very helpful and pleasant. However, I can’t say that my expectations were met. It took the carpet about 12 hours to dry. Also, the main room that needed the carpet cleaning and deodorizing, I will have to do again. In my opinion, it didn’t seem like a better cleaning than o could have done myself. I could have used the money for a new carpet cleaner.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the two technicians and the work was great. I was very disappointed that the techs were not wearing mask since we are in the middle of pandemic. I think the company and franchise are putting themselves in a bad position not working under CDC pandemic guidelines. They also gave us a quote for cleaning the wood floors that me and my wife thought was way overpriced.

Had 4 areas and stairs cleaned, had some pet stains which we specifically pointed out, the technician said there were no guarantees the stains would come clean, I was under the impression they would at least pre treat the stains and at least try to get them clean but they didnt. The stairs were still not clean looking and they left the carpet super wet, it took some areas 24 hours to dry. When it was dry it was even more obvious it was not clean, we called to complain and they sent another crew out to redo at no cost which was appreciated however they still didnt remove the stains. It was left a lot dryer than the previous time though. I decided to research getting the stains out and ended up picking up an enzyme stain remover, I have my own carpet machine, but thought the job I needed should be done by a professional. I got the stains out and could not believe how dirty the water still was after 2 professional cleanings! Couldve saved $300. Just go spend your $ on a machine or rent a rug doctor. Will never use again.

Very nice got my carpets clean. Still a slight odor from my dog barfing on it thats not their fault but at least I dont have to buy a new one. I would definitely use them again.

I had an appointment with another cleaner on tuesday,he didnt show up but I allowed him to reschedule for today he didnt show up again so I called Stanley steemer at 10:30 am and they had ppl at my home by 11:10 ,they were polite,helpful and did a good job at a good price

This was my first experience with Stanley Steemer and I’m quite pleased. The crew showed up on time after a heads up call from the office. I was very relieved to see the crew was wearing masks and gloves. This shows the level of respect that they had for me and I also wore a mask in their presence. I did not feel any up sell pressure although I did add on protectant in one room at the time of service. I typically have our high traffic areas cleaned every six months. So far my beige carpet looks nice and clean without a heavy scent which I like.I will not hesitate to use their services for my next carpet cleaning.

I had one room and an area rug cleaned/deodorized. The deodorizer seemed to work well but no spots came out of the carpet or rug. Took about 18 minutes to do the carpet once they were set up. Could not find info on website regarding moving furniture or use of my well water so I was surprised to learn they use your water source and will not move any type of furniture (they clean around it)

Just had them out to clean one sofa and a sectional. They did an excellent job! The sofa and sectional were really dirty but now look great! I highly recommend Stanley Steemer.

Too pricey and somehow my order changed. I needed one room deodorizer, but it wasnt on the order. This was the main reason I scheduled a cleaning. Tried to add $21 to add deodorizer. I declined. $149 with $10 off coupon. No military discount because they added their coupon. Military discount only 5%. Never in my life have I seen any company only give 5% military discount. I used Stanley Steemer quite often in TX and I could have used military discount of 10% and paid the same price for more services. Im disappointed!

Came at a last min. call for an emergency. Very appreciative! Excellent job done. Men very polite. Hopefully will not need again for these circumstances but definitely will call again. Thank you.

The guys were nice and finished super fast. But I’m really not happy with the carpet cleaning. It smelled like stale water in my house for 5 days after the cleaning and the carpet looks the same as it did before they cleaned it. Stains are still there. I probably won’t use them again.

This is the first time I have used their service and I am very pleased.They were on time , the two gentlemen who came in were very professional and great personalities. They we’re going to charge me more because one room was bigger & also more for my walk in closet but he spoke to his manager and ended up not charging me extra . That is what I call great customer service and I will hire them again once my property goes under contract to sell. Sometimes I believe it’s not the company but the the actual people that represents the company as they are the face of the company and the two people who came in were great. When I called the office the two ladies were also very good and polite. The carpets looks great , I am a happy customer !!!

They have been here a few times before and did excellent work every time.I love the customer service staff that answers the phone and scheduled my appointment. I never talk to a computer but to a live person.Their customer service staff and Professional Technicians are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, patient and did an excellent job cleaning my carpet!!The best part is that it does not take all day to clean the carpet in your home. Im not pleased with my clean at all. There are several spots on my carpet is still there. I still have to use a Ariel rug to cover it up. The crew didnt tell me when they were leaving, I tried to stay out their way so they can clean the carpet in the living room and the hallway. This is the second time. Ive had my carpet cleaned by Stanley Steemer the first time I was very pleased this time Im disappointed.

Was able to schedule a last minute carpet cleaning before moving overseas. Service was quick and they communicated well on what time they would be arriving. However, you’ll receive a basic carpet cleaning. If you have stains like we did: spilled tea, marker, and pet accident then don’t expect it to be gone. A bit disappointed considering it’s a big well known company.

The only problem I had was that I would have preferred the gentlemen remove their shoes or used covers to cover them. I have new white carpet and worried that it would get dirty. Thankfully it didnt and I figured if it had that would have needed cleaning. But both gentlemen were very nice and otherwise professional. Good job.

This is the 2nd time I’ve used Stanley Steemer. Elijah was really wonderful and very conscientious about the quality of his work. This time I used their carpet service on an old carpet that has had a plethora of dogs on it. They were able to get out most of the stains and it looks and smells great. (The stains they could not remove were because I tried to clean with bleach). I’ll use them again.

The crew was great but I could have saved myself $150 and just did it myself. This is what I got out of my carpet after they left. My carpet was soaking wet so I got out my steamer/shampooer and went back over them. There answer was well your machine is dirty. No not considering I flush it every time I use it till the water runs clean. Won’t be using them again. Thanks for nothing

Andrew did a good job on the rooms he worked in. My living room was done by his partner. I took everything off of tables and shelves that could be moved. I had a light unit in the living room that was not moved so that area was not clean. There was a large box, very light, that I forgot to move. It was not cleaned underneath and there is a stain there that could have been cleaned up. There was furniture in that room that had no styrofoam underneath. I wish I had noticed this before they left. Disappointed.

The team assigned to my home professional and friendly. The assistant (Tanya) was very informative about the best ways to allow the carpet to dry. The crew chief kept me aware of any stains could not be removed and asked my opinion on all the areas before completion. Id like to get the same crew next time.

DJ and Kevin came to clean our carpets this morning. DJ was courteous, respectful, and very professional. However, Kevin was very rude. When I went to show him the spots in my bedroom that needed to be recleaned from the last time, he said “what is that? Dog pee?” Firstly, why does it matter what it is. Secondly, no Kevin, it is not dog pee. I replied “no, it is not dog pee” he said “okay, but if it is what I think it is then the stain is not going to come up.” We have used Stanley Steemer for years but will find someone else to come clean our carpets from now on.

The cleaners did a very good job. But as always the discounts never seem to happen!! A little too pricey!! I had a small discount coupon that has a week old and was told by the scheduler to just show it to the service person and it should still be accepted. Did not happen! I learned a lesson!! I’ve used other carpet cleaning companies, in different parts of the country (because...military) and I ALWAYS come back to Stanley Steemer. They are thorough and fast. They get stains out that look impossible to get out. If you’ve never had your carpets steam cleaned, don’t even bother looking at other companies. Stanely Steemer has the best equipment and have it down to a science. I do recommend the Scotch Guard treatment for heavy traffic areas, but you don’t really need it for other areas, because they still get stains out of untreated carpet. I’m writing this mainly because I noticed someone gave them a 1 star rating here, with no explanation, and I wanted to counteract it. I doubt that is a valid review. SS is the best.
