Great experience. No pushy sales efforts. Great value for the price. Other companies told us it could be as much as three weeks for systems to even arrive, then they would schedule installation. All four components were installed in two weeks. Installers were very polite and even made recommendations on how to ensure the longevity of the new systems.

Mr. Davis & son arrived right on time and diagnosed my problem within minutes. They also educated me on simple maintenance I can perform, proper placement and type of filters, etc. Thanks to these professionals, my house is once again cool and comfortable. DAVIS HVAC was amazing! I called with a repair needed (for no AC). They arrived quickly, on time and the work was done quickly. Very honest, professional and affordable. I ended up signing a maintenance agreement with them because I was so pleased with their service. Highly recommend them!!

My second floor thermostat was not working so I called DAVIS HVAC that morning around 08:30. Technicians were at the house and thy had the problem fixed immediately. The were extremely professional and competent and I would totally recommend them for your HVAC needs.

Very disappointed! Hired them to install new $6300 heat pump system. Damien verbally promised 16 Seer unit, but said paperwork wouldnt match due to issues with back office. I trusted his word and chose Davis over competitor. Installation was a Nightmare -- Sent unlicensed person to install new system. Many issues, 3 visits and 1 week later, FINALLY got it finished!! Oh and not a 16 Seer, but a 15.5 Seer! (Big difference in efficiency, value, Plus 15.5 does NOT qualify for Virginia Energy Tax Credit --- I got screwed! Should have gone with proposal from competitor that was $100 less!

While I am pleased with the installation done by the company last year, I was very displeased with my 2 recent maintenance visits. The senior technician was very rude and began right away implying that the issue was my fault for not using the proper thickness of filters (which we were never instructed to do at installation). Then in the attic, the unit had to be taped up from the original installation as it had never been completely sealed and cold air was escaping into the attic. The technicians changed the damper settings and when they left, the temperature in my home went to 80 degrees while being set at 72. I called this company for a return service, made a change to the main damper, heard the air begin to flow and the temperature came back down. The technicians showed up 2 days later, proceeded to lecture me about messing the the dampers and not knowing what I was doing, by the lead technician who was never in the attic. At that point, I was so insulted, I asked them to leave. They left the access to my attic wide open. Though the unit is working OK now, I will be looking for a new HVAC company for future maintenance, due to the unprofessional nature of this service team.

Woke up Saturday morning with no heat and they were out there within an hour and had me up and running fast. Very professional and even took to the time to explain what was wrong and why. Called about my heat pump and was told my compressor was bad I needed to replace the entire unit and indoor unit for a cost of 5000$. I had another company look at it and they fixed it in about an hour ( just a bad fan motor) for a cost of about 700$. Felt lied to. They did refund the diagnostic fee without a hassle so good customer service in the office. Wont be using them again.

Good afternoon, I write this review in hope this situation like this does not happen to someone else in the future. A week ago I made an appointment to have my A/C fixed today and no one showed or even to call to let me know they were not showing; tried to call multiple time and no answer on their end. Now Im being told by my home insurance company that they will call me in 24hrs to reschedule for next week. Not a good way to run a company. I understand situation may come up but to not call is not except-able. Now lets see if they call. I hope the end result will be a pleasant one.Now its Sat 24 hrs later and no its not a pleasant one. Mr. Davis had my appointment and said on the phone sorry theres nothing I can do for you, so call your home insurance company and get another company to fix your problem. Im at a WOW moment here and this is how this place does business. this company doesnt rate a star let alone 5. Do not use this company and if so, good luck...

We were really taken advantage of. We called this company because we had their sticker on our thermostat. We felt our electricity bills were too high and wanted him to check the system. On the phone they said that to check the system cost about $50, and any repair would cost extra so I said OK.The next day they came, opened everything up, the owner was there himself with one of his sons, and the owner was almost blind (waiting cataract surgery) so he asked his son to read him everything, which is great, but they ended up staying over 3 hours. They said that one of our outside compressors was not turning on. I said that maybe because we had gotten one of our cords repaired and maybe it had been done incorrectly. But he said it was the fault of our thermostat, and we needed to change the thermostat for $475 dollars. I said we couldnt afford that, so he said, well if you get a different sort of thermostat but still the Trane brand, it will be $275. I said, please just put it all back together and I will think about it after I speak with my husband.Then he said, No wait it has only been set up wrong, I will set it up and he pulled out a manual with his son and pressed some buttons. Then he told me that I owed him $375. I didnt know what to do, so I paid. I am a new home owner and didnt understand I could have refused to pay. He wrote me a ticket that said $120 to service compressor #1, $120 to service compressor #2 (what service? he only opened them up... I stood outside almost the entire time with them and they didnt do any repair..) and $100 to set up the thermostat (when he was pressing the buttons).Then he looked at the compressor outside and said, No that cord needs to be replaced right. I need to come back tomorrow and replace it. I had thought there might be a problem with the cord, so I said OK, and he came back the next day and replaced A DIFFERENT CORD for $275 and asked me to make the check out to him personally (the owner.) I told him I could not do that.THEN he started saying that he had not checked the freon in the second compressor (OH MY GOSH... why did I pay $120 again for that compressor for you to open it up?) and at this point I started thinking that he might even be breaking things so that he could fix them. He left and said that he wanted to come back again in the spring to check the freon when we started using the air conditioning. There is no way I want him anywhere near my house again. I felt he was really dishonest, he did not get approval before doing things, he did not tell me how much things would cost, I thought it was all included in the checking.Really dishonest person. If only I could go back in time and never call them. Now I have to call somebody else to make sure the system wasnt messed with.Funny thing is I asked my parents (who used to own this house, we bought it from them) afterwards, and my dad told me that they bullied him last time they came (and my dad is really good, he worked 30 years in construction and really knows what he is about with building houses and taking care of them), and he said that they felt they got ripped off as well. So I would say, darn.STEER CLEAR.

(Spring, Fall) The Agreement Includes Proper Inspection of Air Flow, Proper Inspection of Thermostat, Inspection of all Electrical Connections, Check/Adjust Refrigerant Levels, Lube Blower Motor and inspect/Clean Condenser. Starting at $300 a Year I thought it was well worth it to ensure the longevity of my system.Overall I am quite satisfied with my experience with this company and I would highly recommend them to anyone for the following reasons.-Fast and Reliable-Quality Service-Monthly discounts/Specials- Well Known and Experienced- Great People5 Stars!
