The first employee I met after an F2 tornado hit my neighborhood, was a sales rep named Austin Morris. He was such a soft-spoken gentleman who seemed truly concerned about me. Then, John Vela contacted me. Once again, such a nice and courteous gentleman. He made himself available any time I had questions.The roofing crew did a great job in just one day. They were neat & courteous. Im updating my previous review based upon recent events.Quality of work is excellent. The crew who put up my siding was absolutely fantastic. After some miscommunication with the team who completed my gutter work, it is complete and the quality of work is fine.Communication is the main factor related to my rating. Many of my issues were related to an individual who is no longer with the company, but there were still many opportunities for improvement related to communication and updates.

Elbert Construction Evansville is great company to do business with. I had two roofs replaced on homes and was exceptionally pleased with the results. I was given competitive quotes which did not change during the course of the work. They used good quality materials, cleaned up completely after their work was completed, and finished on time. If there were choices for me to make, Cody Willis presented options to me. The roofs look great and Im happy with my choice of Elbert Construction to do the work. Id choose them again as I was 100% satisfied with the work!

So I just met with John Vela and I thought it went rather well. He was very informative in his presentation and was really vocal about the process stepwise and in his belief in the company and their quality and integrity(which is not always easy to find nowadays). I have put a 4 star rating on this for the time being even though the presentation was five stars, in my opinion. Now if we do get this project rolling with Elbert and it ends up being as successful as he and I both hope, then I’ll follow up this rating with the 5th star. Actually, if for some odd reason we don’t get to use Elbert, I’ll also add a 5th star being that the problem must have been on our end, because my words speak currently for the presentation itself. Price, work, warranty are all within the range I’m looking for so like I said...I’m looking forward to updating this rating one more star upon the results!

Daniel and the entire crew of Elbert Construction did a fantastic job completing our new roof. From start to finish Daniel made the entire process very simple. He is always available to answer any questions you may have. The crew was extremely professional and completed the job in a very timely manner. Our new roof looks great. The cleanup process was also done absolutely perfect. Daniel even came back out several days after completion to ensure everything was complete to our satisfaction. Elbert Construction in Evansville did a great job repairing my roof. Brent Griffin did a very good job inspecting my roof with pictures to show where the problems that needed repaired. Brent replied to all my phone calls and answered all my questions promptly. His roofing repair team did a great job and excellent job cleaning up after their work. Ive delt with some pretty lazy contractors who are just going through the motions at best. Elbert is not one of them.They work with you and do what they say theyre going to do. When you call, they show up. If theyre behind, theyll let you know. They keep you informed and treat you with respect.Companies like Elbert are a dying breed. They do great work and I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Brent was very courteous, professional, & helpful during the entire process. He didnt answer the phone as much as I like, but he returned every single phone call and put up with all my requests. The install was very good too. They cleaned up very well......I think we found about 10 nails total afterwards. They did damage a small bracket during the tear off, but Brent was very quick to have it replaced. I would absolutely recommend Elbert and I would have them do our roof again if we ever need it!

Troy Cook came to our house to evaluate a roof and was very knowledgeable and had a very pleasant demeanor... would recommend using anytime!

Someone from the company came to our home in Henderson and spent quite a bit of time examining a leaking skylight. He seemed to know what he was doing, and said hed get back to me soon with a detailed quote with the various options (replace or remove the skylight.) That was weeks ago, and since then Ive heard nothing, despite repeated attempts to contact them. I assume they decided they didnt want to do the work after all, but their unresponsiveness is irritating.

Not impressed. After installation, I inspected from inside the attic. They had hit so hard with the hammers, wood was broken. This was replaced, but then I noticed the ridge didnt seem installed properly, parts lifting up, loose nails. This too was repaired, although I see the ridge not flush every single day I look at the roof. Then a shingle wasnt properly nailed down...theyre answer was to seal it with something like silicon. NOW. About two years down the road and we have a leak. Im not surprised. Were not happy with having to replace a ceiling in our house either. But wow, their sales guy was amazing.For the full review experience, please read this post I put on their Facebook after the roof was installed.Left handfuls of nails around our house, later found by our two year old. They had to come multiple times (after multiple calls and texts) to repair a couple areas of a poorly installed ridge vent. They installed two poorly cut shingles and applied some sort of sealant because they wouldnt lay properly. I still have a few pieces of siding hanging off the side of my house that for some reason needed to be removed for the installation of the roof. They beat the decking of the roof so hard with their hammers, they made holes, breaking pieces off into our attic space. They used black spray paint for some reason, which caused some blow-over on our siding. After a few months, they finally had everything fixed...except for the hanging siding and the paint. I was fed up of the lack of communication (approx 3 months worth) so they offered me a discount, which was the same that was being offered on Groupon...which was for a new roof, not a new roof needing repairs. Stay away. Good sales presentation. Poor service.

We used Elbert Construction for our church roof. We had storm damage and Cody came right out in the rain with a tarp to prevent further damage. The new roof looks great. This was a big job and Cody has returned to make sure everything is right.

I called and scheduled for someone to come look at a roofing issue I was having and to give me a quote on a new roof. Out of the gate I was asked about my insurance policy, and if my roof had been inspected for hail damage which I thought was odd.I scheduled an appointment for 06/26/2019 at 9:30 am. At 12:18 PM I receive a call from the representative who was supposed to come to our house. He explains that a tree had fallen in his driveway, and he was unable to make the appointment. I was a little put off that a phone call wasnt made by either him or office staff(as Im sure he notified them he wouldnt be in for work on time) to let me know he wouldnt be there for our appointment.Once my personal schedule cleared up I reluctantly rescheduled for 07/17/2019 again at 9:30 AM. I was home with the garage door open and a vehicle parked in the driveway until 2:00 PM. Nobody from Elbert ever showed up at my house, and I never received a phone call from anyone as to why they hadnt arrived.After reading some of the reviews this company has on BBBs website it would appear to be a blessing that I didnt end up doing business with them.

Daniel Cavanaugh was great to work with, very knowledgeable in explaining insurance forms, and the work to be done. The crew that they sent to our house was awesome even when it was 90 degree and humid. We have, and would recommend Elberts for roofing, gutters, and screens replacements

We had a very bad experience with this company. It took many phone calls and weeks of waiting for everything to be completed on our roof. There is one area that we are not pleased with how it was done but they will mot change it. They said it is done correctly. I would not recommend this customer to anyone.
