I was very impressed with the quality of the work performed by Chris, Chris, and his crew. I called them at the last minute with a problem with my 2015 GMC Terrain and they fit me in right away, fixed the problem, and had me on my way in about 2 hours. They treated me with respect and were very courteous and helpful. Their waiting area is welcoming and comfortable, unlike any automotive shop I have ever seen. The entire crew is knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this business to anyone who has doubts about the automotive shop that they are currently using. I have been going to Chris’s for about 4 years now and have had an outstanding experience every single time. The team is very professional, have always addressed my issue and most importantly very personable. Have never had an issue repeat after their service. The aspect that really impressed me the most is their genuine care for your auto requests. Once I had a problem with my Girfriend’s car in Austin and did not know how to proceed. My window was not rolling up on the driver side. So I took it into Chriss West side Auto service after looking at a lot of reviews throughout town. Im glad I found them because its rare when you take your car in somewhere thinking youre going to get something done for $300 and instead it ends up being cheaper. It was because they were honest with what was wrong with my window. It didnt need the full motor for the window it just needed something else. So Im going to bring my other car here and keep using them. I definitely recommend using Chriss Westside Auto service.

Chris and his team were amazing when my daughters truck broke down on a cross country trip. They made sure the truck was looked at and when it was determined that it was not repairable short of a new engine they kept it safe for us in their yard until a transporter could be arranged. Amazing service for someone in a bind and I highly recommend them for any repairs you need!

No idea what went wrong. I had taken my car here before, fast and good service. This time I explained what I thought might be wrong and what was happening. I told them that i had brought my car here previously expecting them to look up and see which repairs they did. Chris called me when i was at work and asked me when i brought the car in and what they did to it. I told him i didnt know, expecting him to look my record up in the system. He apparently didnt do that. Instead he talked to me again on the phone naming off all the parts he replaced last time, seeming confused why they were all new. When i picked up my car, i found out that no one had ever bothered to look up the record of my last repair. I made it about a mile down the road when it broke down again doing the same thing i brought it in for! If you take your car to chris be sure to make a detailed record of what he does to it since he apparently cant be bothered. I took it to another shop and they had it fixed by lunchtime. Will never be taking my car here again

Called for a quote on a water pump for my bmw and it was accurate to the last penny. Dropped the car off the next morning and picked it up only 4 hours later. Fast, professional, and 3x less than I was quoted at d-Patrick.First time coming here but it will NOT be the last.

They don’t know nothing about old cars they find every which way possible to get out of changing a fuel filter brought my car there 3 times now same problem 3 TIMES!! I’m a young guy with not very much money and these guys use that to there advantage there business is a joke and all they care about is money never in my life time have I ever hated a business so much

Chris and family have been the best. I have a PhD, but know nothing about cars. I am sure I have paid for turn signal fluid! He is honest, reliable, and reasonable. I refer him to everyone possible. He was a friend to my husband, who has had Alzheimer’s for almost 10 years. Kind, compassionate, reasonable care. I don’t know what I would do without him.

Great auto repair shop. Chris takes the time to listen to what your concerns are and takes his years of knowledge and gives you his best opinion and does the work needed and not charging you for things not needed.

By far the best mechanic I have gone too! We are from Indy and our car completely gave out on us while we were in Evansville visiting. He got us taken care of super early in the morning plus he helped us find a trustworthy tow service. I wouldn’t not hesitate to take my car to him again for repair. Chris got us ready to roll in the road within a couple of hours.

I cant say enough about the work these guys do! After trying to find an honest and trustworthy shop (with several fails) someone recommended Chris and Im so grateful. They always give me every detail about what needs to be done and then always show me what parts they replaced and how bad they were when I go pick up my car. I have never had such a professional experience with a auto shop. Chris always addressed me as sir and informed me where they were at during the entire process. I had complete trust in the guys from the minute I walked into the shop which is hard to say for most places. These guys will take care of you and get you out the door as quickly and inexpensively as possible. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Had horrible experience took my horse trailer to them to have my tires breaks and everything checked because of a weird smell like burnt rubber and truck said breaks werent working. Took my trailer home the next day after they told me breaks on left side werent touching and wire was grounded out. They also said everything was good on the other side. Took my trailer loaded with 3 horses to murray ky. When we got home from murray we were missing a tire the hub and everything was gone. Called them they came out to look at it told me they never touched that side and they werent going to pay for it i had another mechanic come out to look at it he says they tightened the breaks to much then bearing went out and caused the tire to pop off i paid 360 for my trailer to be fixed. I am extremely mad i had very expensive horses in the trailer and 3 kids in the back of my truck. Will not ever go there again and will tell everyone ik not to use them the horses could of been hurt and the tire could of caused an accident

They were very helpful! I couldnt figure out why my turn signals were not working and after I went to several different AutoZones, OReillys, and checked all of my fuses they were able to figure out the problem and get me back on the road. It was such a quick fix and he didnt even charge me, which is great for a college student budget!

I had my car towed to the shop but wasn’t planning on getting it worked on there. When told that running a test on it was free by a mechanic, they called me to let me know and I wasn’t by my phone so they started on it and charged me for labor.🤬

My niece had problems with her car and these guys took as good of care of her as I would I own my own repair shop but I’m 5 hours away for Evansville but if I’m ever down to Evansville and have car trouble I would not hesitate to have these guys work on it and that says a lot coming from me I have not had any one work on anything of mine for 40+years thanks again guys and keep up the good work

We have been going to Chris for several years. We first came to Chris after a Japanese car specialist garage had told us that my just over 200K miles Lexus needed a new engine. Chris told us that he could fix it, and the cost was a fraction of the cost of a new engine. We trusted him and he came through. We always go to Chris now. (That Lexus nearly made it to 300K, but it was totaled in an accident.)
