I had an excellent haircut with Soyeon! She took time to understand the look I wanted and really took her time throughout the cut. She paid attention to detail and checked in along the way. Even more, she has such a great energy and was very friendly. This is one of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten, and it’s all thanks to Soyeon - I would highly recommend her.Rob’s shop was also really clean and every single person who worked there was extraordinarily kind. I can see why this place has stood the test of time - it is a gem in Ellicott City.

Great place. Did amazing job cutting my sons thick and curly hair (hard to find stylists that can handle his hair and his usual stylist is out on maternity). Rob is very nice and did a great job, especially since this was his first time here. Also, very reasonable price for haircut.

Very clean, professional and quick service. I even had to reschedule my appointment from one day to the next day and then push it back another half hour. John was easy to work with and he took good care of me.

Haesoon did a wonderful giving my 14 month old his very first haircut. She worked fast, but was calm and entertaining with my son to keep him from getting too upset (he wasnt a fan of the sound of the electric razor). I loved that the barber shop also had a small kids corner with small chairs and toys to play with while they waited.

I have gotten my haircut at other places before, but the difference is that after I get my haircut and beard trimmed here, I walk out feeling good about myself and how I look. Very clean and modern. Ive tried a number of barbershops and Robs barber shop is the best Ive seen. Ive been coming here for more than a year now and have tried 3 different barbers and Ive been very impressed with each one. The attention to detail is superb and they know their craft well. We went to Robs looking to have my 2 year old sons first haircut fixed. We had tried to cut it at home and desensitize him to the sound of the razor, but ended up with a pretty rough look. Diggs was super fast and great getting this look evened out. Our son was really happy and calm the whole time! I appreciate the cleanliness (high five to their new employee!), childrens toys, and other great touches like a lollipop at the end. I definitely recommend this place for kids :)

Ive been going to Robs for over twenty years, and even though I live in Westminster now I still make the trip every few weeks.

I was going to attend a friend’s wedding last week and I realized I had been too busy I hadn’t even thought of getting a haircut. My barber was fully-booked and I ended up calling barber shops in the area. I got through to Rob and he gladly did my haircut the next day.

Michelle is so nice and gives a great hair cut. I highly recommend her. Mens haircut is $21 which is cheap compared to other barbers in the area. The other staff are nice here as well. And you can always see the ball game on the tv in the background.

They have a nice waiting area with a big screen tv. We took our 11 month old son in for his almost first haircut (we went to cartoon cuts a month earlier and were not impressed). Diggs was our barber, and he had a calm method to get our son accustomed to the buzz of the clippers and to distract him while he was working. We ended up with a fantastic haircut. They just picked up a new customer for life.The only negative was limited parking.

Ive been going to Rob since middle school, and he has always gotten my hair just right. He is very friendly, cares about everyone around him, and even tries to remember all of his customers backstories.He has a very skilled and friendly staff (they even convinced my best friend to get a haircut with me! Props!)The hair cuts here are priced really well, not expensive at all. You may not give away hundreds of dollars for a haircut here, but I would argue that the haircut you get at Robs Barber Shop will look better and feel better than any cut from any competitor or overpriced shop. (Mistakenly, Ive tried other shops, but no more! Haha)Though needless to say, Rob and his team have become my go to trusted Barber Shop.Im only sorry for the fact that this shop doesnt have a perfect 5 out of 5 stars because two reviewers decided to be extra.....whiney? Rob is the man! He always does a good job cutting my hair! His barbershop is a very welcoming place. He makes everyone feel comfortable.

Walked in and with my needs(very minimal) 2 girls at front desk didnt even acknowledge me. Someone from the back came forward and asked then another came forward. while the 2 girls at front still hadn’t say anything or still didn’t acknowledge me. Don’t be sitting at the front desk unless youre waiting to take care of someone. It’s like they were being picky who they made there money from. My hair only takes 10 to 15 minutes and they could’ve made $20 in that time. Your lose

Best place ever. We have been going there since my high schooler was in kindergarten and have always received top quality cuts and customer service. Diggs primarily cuts my son and husbands hair and is awesome. The shop is very family friendly and the staff is always professional.

I will confirm that this place is poor on customer service, gives an average haircut and a little expensive just like the other reviews. Ive gotten a haircut here before, but its not worth waiting for an hour!! The other two times I came here I ended up leaving, because they dont follow the signup list. They will skip you, because they know the person who just came in with no appointment. This place is very unprofessional and it shows how they treat their customers. I feel like I wasnt welcome in this place and the people who works here are very cold. I usually support local businesses in my area, but this is a poor establishment. Stay Away!

Ive had my haircut by everyone except Rob himself, and all my cuts have been exceptional. Ive moved to Columbia and I still make the 20min trip out of my to get my haircut here.
