Lovely hang out spot with really good food and drinks. I also got my haircut with Jenna earlier in the day. Only request I have is for hair to be washed again after the cut if desired. I had hair all over my clothes and car after mine since I didnt want it styled.Oddly they seemed to run out of their more popular items pretty quickly, but they were quick to offer alternatives.Service was good given the number of people there and precautions we all had to take.Very friendly staff! Will visit again!

Jaxon Edwin’s looks like how you expect a barbershop to appear. Nick did a phenomenal cut. Nick made me a believer again in a quality barber. Had a really good experience getting my hair cut there. I would definitely recommend nick. Wasnt sure exactly what I wanted and he helped me out and recommend what would look better. Very chill and laid back atmosphere there. Good place to also grab a drink. The barber shop is on the 3rd floor, a bar area on the 2nd floor and game room on the 1st floor

Two things to never skimp on: barbers and mechanics. Jaxon Edwin has nailed the former. Ive gotten my hair cut here a few times now after a colleague recommend it and had great experiences each time. This is a great little spot in Historic Ellicott City. Haircuts include a hot towel and cocktail or drink of choice.

Amazing place. Went Friday night, and they had live music going. Servers are kind, sweet, and welcoming. Wait time is long, but the food is on point.

Kapri was very professional and did a great job with my sons hair. I dont think a 12 year old should be charged the adult price however so I found this a little outrageous. Nice place. Supporting our local businesses Old EC. Cant wait until COVID is over to fully enjoy the establishment.

Love the shop, Ive been getting my haircut there for quite a while. The only thing I have an issue with was that it was way too hot! Especially being up on the 3rd floor I was dripping sweat and I feel bad for the young lady who was cutting my hair having to deal with that.

Jaxon Edwin provides a wonderful upscale full service barber experience. The staff is always helpful and great with my 4 year old daughter. They provide a tasty spirt or coffee, quick snack, old school arcade games, and amazing hair and beard services.

Excellent idea and glad they have been able to open enough to start serving drinks again. The haircuts have been great and the drinks delicious.

10/10, absolutely recommend this barber shop. I came here after a friend told me about the shop, and Im extremely pleased with my experience here. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming and the shop was very clean. The price for a haircut is very reasonable considering you get a drink, hot towel, shampoo, and massage with your cut. Nick cut my hair and I really cant recommend him enough.

I have been getting my hair cut by Tonya at Jaxon Edwin for a couple months and i have been very impressed! The bar and barista staff on the second floor are very friendly, and the overall haircut experience is great! I recommend it for any man who cares about their hair.

Awesome barber shop haircuts, coffee, and atmosphere. Love coming to old ellicott city and walking around while visiting this place. Staff is always friendly and it has a unique atmosphere you cant find elsewhere in the Baltimore area. I get a haircut at least once a month and Jaxon Edwin is so much nicer than going to a generic chain barbershop and fighting crowds to get a mediocre cut.

This place is awesome. Arcade games, beer, and a barber shop! And thats only one floor. Theres also a coffee shop and a shop on the bottom floor. Nick and Tanya were great! They both do a great job on my haircut! They are very good at allowing me to drink my beer in between each cut so my drink would not get warm. I will definitely return. Very clean and the atmosphere is so fun. The location is great as well in Historic Ellicott City. 5 stars!!!!

Ive been looking for a barber shop that I could go to on a regular basis.Nick was knowledgeable and worked with me not knowing exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend him.Jaxon Edwin is the spot. Love having a drink while I wait!The drink selection is awesome.My only gripe is that the hair cut advertises a massage that no one does. I dont k ow how much that factors into price but maybe you should stop saying it comes with the haircut?

Great place for coffee and shopping. Also decent haircuts at a reasonable price. Each cut comes with an alcoholic drink but you can substitute for a coffee too if you prefer.

This is a really great barber shop. They know what theyre doing and deliver an excellent cut. Highly recommend Tonya who was magical with her scissors - I asked her suggestions and she has a flair for style. Cut my hair and ten years off the sides. The place also can a deliver a real life shave in authentic old style barber chairs. As advertised, they provide a shot of bourbon with the price. I couldnt take it cause i needed to return to work, but theyre happy to replace it with any item at their coffee bar. Theres old style video games and mini-golf in the waiting area. Well worth the 2 flights it stairs.

I get my hair cut here and its a nice mix of old-style mens barbershop amenities with skilled modern hair stylists. Its on Main St., so parking is best in one of the large city lots. Theres also a coffee house that serves light food on the second floor and a clothing and accessories store on the bottom floor. One caveat: there seems to be an unusual amount of turnover in the barbershop. Rarely have I been able to get my hair cut by the same person twice and I am usually in there once a month. The staff seem happy and friendly, so I dont know if this is reflective of their pay or what. Its kind of an annoyance for the client, though.

Not only were they waiting at the door with my food ready, their cocktails came in a cute Mason jar with a lid. The food was also AMAZING! I had the crabdip flatbread, Braswell Shrimp Salad and Pretzel with the beer cheese dip ALL DELICIOUS. We will DEFINITELY be going back. Cocktail were yummy too!

This is a really nice barber that has a putting green, arcade machine, gift shop, and bar in the store as well. I had to wait quite a bit of time before I could get my haircut, but there was plenty to do to keep me entertained. The quality of the barbers are high, as are the facilities.

This is our new spot for family haircuts. We make it a weekend event every few weeks. We bring the kiddos, walk around Old Ellicott City, and then hop in for the haircuts for the family. Everyone is so wonderful with the little ones, which makes the experience that much better. Any, they love getting their complimentary drinks afterwards!

I was really looking forward to this place, as Im a big supporter of downtown EC. The coffee shop looks cool and has some interesting options so Id like to come back for that. I went for a haircut and beard trim though, and it was unfortunately not what I expected. The haircut itself was fine, but the beard trim was rushed (I had to fix it at home) and did not include shaving of the area around the beard (surprised me, since all my previous barbers did this). I was also disappointed that no hot towel or massage was offered, as was promoted online. The drink was nice, but otherwise it was an average barbershop experience, not the premium experience I was hoping for based on how I believe theyre positioning their business.

Super cool place- coffee shop/men’s botique with a barber shop and bar upstairs. Tanya did a great job cutting my boyfriend’s hair while I met up friends on the second floor. Prices are fair and atmosphere is super laid back.

It’s SO close to being the best spot to get a cut. I love the idea and layout. I’ve been saying for a while how much I would love a place like this and they are on their way. They just need to tie up some loose ends. The beard trim could have been better with the use of a razor. Massage was never given or offerd as advertised. Yes, I could have reminded them of it but..... come on, not my job as a customer. Up sell me or something. I have faith in this spot. I want to come back and next time just do the little things that go so far to make life long clients.

I had been waiting for this place to open. It is within walking distance of my home so I scheduled a haircut and shave at the grand opening for the next time I needed a haircut. The appointment was yesterday. I think the only thing that went right was the beer.First, my appointment had disappeared from their system even though I was still getting reminders. Apparently, the stylist I was scheduled to see had quit and that caused my appointment to go into some limbo state. Second, I asked for about an inch off all around. Easy enough, right? No, I had to tell the stylist to take more off around my ears as I could clearly see an inch was not what he cut. I pull the hair down my ear to check and could easily see it had barely been cut. My bangs are also way long and dont seem to have been touched. Today, I can tell the back was not cut short enough either by the obvious curls left behind.Third, the hot shave left me many nicks. The stylist cleaned me up before I got a look at myself while still in the chair but by the time I got home I had significant spots of blood all over my face. I could tell the guy was nervous and seemed inexperienced with a straight blade but did not realize how bad it was. It was not even a close shave either! I do better with my disposables from Walmart. Today, I can see the marks on my face where the nicks are and a couple are even still tender. Not good.I did get a good milk stout beer. I would rather have had a good shave and haircut and a bad beer, though.

Was excited to try this place. Staff was nice but the food was bad and the cappuccino was only ok...Foam was all wrong. Sampled one of the nitro coffees too and it was not good. Cant speak to the haircut. Shop downstairs is nice got some stuff there.

Premium barber shop experience in the heart of Ellicott City. I walked in and was taken up to their second floor coffee shop to get a smooth nitro brew. From there i was handed off to a stylist who took care of me with a cut, hot shave for the neck and shampoo blow dry. Overall satisfied with the coffee and the cut, stylist knew how to work with my type of hair. Their standard $28 cut includes all of this, its a premium price over your local hair Cuttery but I would normally pay $4 for a coffee anyways so it was a good deal to have it included. You can have some bourbon from their bar if youd prefer. Will go again.

Historic downtown Ellicott City is an awesome walkable, local oasis amidst all the highways, strip malls, and chains of the area. Jaxon Edwin is a great example of why we need old Main Streets like this. What a cool concept: 1st floor is a gift shop (bow ties, cufflinks, shaving kits, etc. at great prices); 2nd floor is a cool coffee shop (with great street views and cool comfortable furniture); 3rd floor is the barber shop and a bar. Nice selection of rum, whiskeys, bourbons etc. -- one complimentary drink given with each haircut. If you are waiting theres a free old school Donkey Kong arcade game, tvs, a putting green... and the bar! On vintage barber chairs -- razor cuts, hot towels, shampoo, massage -- great selection of services you cant get at most places.My old school pomp. cut was great. I will say one weird thing -- the web page description of my (cheap) $28 cut included massage and shampoo and I got neither. That was kind of strange, but didnt really diminish my enjoyment of the place much.Couldnt love this place more.

Rating for Barber shop ONLY. I desperately wanted this to be my new barber shop... As many of the other reviews mention, it is a great location, they do offer a drink with your haircut and there is an arcade game and putting green in the barbershop area. I am also giving this review after approximately 5 haircuts there...and not getting 2 I had scheduled. One appointment was cancelled by the shop; no big deal things happen. The second was missed because they were so late with their previous appointments that I could not stay the additional time, despite having an appointment. The reason for the overrun was time spent socializing despite having another customer waiting. There has been a significant amount of turnover in staff so having a favorite barber or wanting a consistent hair cut will lead you to disappointment. As indicated, I WANTED this place to be great, it just isnt.

This was my second vist. The first time Aiden took care of me and it was cool. He was a nice guy and conversational. The hair cut was good and everything went smooth. If it were just him I would rate this place much higher. This time I want to start by saying Carla was very nice. The place was a very clean and friendly environment for the most part. BUT there were issues. First of all I asked her to trim the beard a little and shape it up, which is what I always tell barbers, and she took off almost half of it. Know in fairness I could have been more specific but Ive never had to in the past. The haircut was okay but not something I couldnt get elsewhere for cheaper. Lastly, when you schedule they advertise a cut, beard trim, a massage, and a bourbon. NOT ONCE WAS I OFFERED A MASSAGE OR DRINK! After reading reviews I see this has happened before. I shouldnt have to ask. Thats like going to order a burger and them not bringing the bun. I wasnt even given a chance. The young lady that took my card just said have a nice day and then dismissed me. It felt like they wanted me to leave, which might be true and thats fine but you are not supposed to treat me like that. I honestly hope they read this and do better, Carla did seem very nice and is good at her job if you know exactly what you want. But my ultimate suggestion is to avoid this place until they improve. And if you do go, ask for Aiden.
