This is an Ellicott Citys institution. The facility is decorated with Navy and Army photos and replica. Andy has been giving haircuts for many years. He takes time to do a custom cut. A great value for $11+ tip. If you are in a rush, go elsewhere. The other barber Phyllis is good too. Update: Andy has retired for health reasons. The place is open - but is a shadow of its original self. Sad.

Multiple generations, 4 sometimes even 5, of families coming to this staple of Howard County for a great haircut at an even better price. Being a Vietnam veteran himself, Andy has always shown great American pride from his red, white, and blue colored shop signs to the vast tokens of US history covering the walls. The shop boasts many tributes to all US branches of services that cover almost every inch of each wall.

The naval hats and model planes hanging from the ceiling are a nice touch. Got a good haircut too.

Not a good place for haircut. People are very slow and they took about an hour to cut my boys hair.
