Dr Anthony Tat replaced a filling and I have to say that the experience was so pleasant, gentle and swift. While Dr Tat did not rush the procedure, we were finished in no time at all. He was meticulous so much so that when the effects of Novocain wore off, I could not tell that I had any work done. Super gentle care, and so refreshing to see. Thank you Dr Tat.

I’ve been coming to this dental office for 20 years. I was so sad when my primary dentist, Dr. Joe You, retired…. You know how that goes…. Instead of searching for a new referral I decided to give this group a try. So far I’ve been pleased with both dentist. Both gentle and thorough. Dr. Vin has gone back to school for Periodontal surgery I believe…so won’t be back for 3 years. Dr. Tat took over my care and I am very pleased as they were able to get me in right away to take care of a broken crown, do the prep work for new one and put the temp in … which looks almost as good as a permanent one!! Just in time to be completed one week before my daughters wedding! My smile will be perfect again!My disappointment is coming to the lobby 2 times within a week and see the spider webs and their catches underneath the chairs. I’ve pointed it out twice, as the lobby should be as immaculate as the work stations. Hope when I go back in next week it is finally clean.

I had woken up in excruciating pain from a tooth. I called Laguna West Dental Care and they were able to get me in same day. The staff was so incredibly friendly. Both the dentist, Dr. Tat, and his hygienist made sure I was comfortable for the entire procedure and made sure that I wasn’t in any pain or could feel anything while they pulled my wisdom tooth which had gotten an infection. I highly highly recommend this dental office and will def be back for regular routine care!

I had wisdom tooth pain and could not be seen in my home town dentist until September , I was referred to Laguna west dental by a friend and experienced fast care for my concerns. I was scheduled right away and appointment didn’t take long ! All staff were very supportive and provided excellent service !! I came for dental services to many places for 30 years cleaning my teeth. Their Office is great, the Receptionist, X-Ray Technician and a Doctor are professional and excellent in service job. But only a Hygienist serviced for me was horrible in her performance; maybe it wasn’t my lucky day. I will not come back again ever.

I had chip in a tooth that was patched 5 years ago, but popped out a few days ago. I called and they got me in the next day. It was quick and easy. They took good care of me and did a great job fixing my tooth.

Great experience. Route canal around 2000 but felt no sharp pain even while drilling. They prepare the day before, the day of, and days after procedure.They answered all my questions no problem. Plus broke up the payment s for my convenience.

Pleased with way This office and its staff went outta their way to fix my broken denture! I was in there for a tooth extraction pending dental implant. No problems with the dentist nor his staff. But I wish they would take off their masks for a little bit so I can identify who they are. Also speaking through a mask is very hard to understand speech, so they could lift their masks a little bit to speak more clearly

Dr Chan and his staff are no longer at this location. I was disappointed that with the new staff, they are not telling us that. There is a different environment now. It is more professional than friendly. We dont like the fact that they are trying to deceive people into thinking they are the same office. We ended up going to a closer dentist (my moms dentist on South land Park) and surprisingly finding some of the staff there :) And the friendly, family vibe I need to get me to the dentist again since I have anxiety.

The services is great? Get you in and out. It would be a nice touch for the office to reach out by calling to see how your feeling and to give any advice. But in all nice service.

They saw me within the hour I called. I had no insurance, but they still helped me get a root canal done! I was in pain and just couldn’t function! Doc was nice and professional, had me back on my feet in no time!! Don’t hesitate to walk in that door if you need any dental work done!!

Calling on a late Friday morning asking if their office could get me in on an Emergency root Canal procedure was met with such a welcoming, and empathetic response. The staff quickly requested my xray, had the dentist review it, and he agreed to bring me in. As you can imagine, I was in the WORST pain, emotional, and had been up for two nights so I was so scared and nervous. Especially since what I was going through was a direct reflection of bad decisions from my previous dentist of two years. This new dentist was so patient, cautious of my pain, explained every step, confident and reassuring. I seriously am challenged to put into words the amazing experience it was. Today, two days later that tooth is pain free, and I can bite down, drink cold/warm fluids all of which was impossible before seeing him. Thank you so much for your amazing work and compassion!! Oh, and taking the time to change your plans and bring me into the office on a Friday afternoon to help me!!

This practice has provided my dental care for years. Courteous efficient and comfortable care. I used to hate going to the dentist, but since switching to their practices my fear of needing dental work or care has been non-existent! Dr. You and Dr. Chan have now retired, but my latest visit demonstrated that the new team with continue with the same caring and comfort that I received from this practice. I recently referred my Grandson to them for care. That’s how much I trust and appreciate the level of service and ease of treatments. Thank you for the great work and the concern and caring service.

I have visited a dentist every 6 months my entire adult life. Before moving to Elk Grove I was starting to notice plaque build up on my teeth and had had a cavity or two. I mentioned the plaque to my other dentist and was told it was normal.I move to Elk Grove in 2013 and have been seeing Dr. You since. During my first visit they started working on REALLY cleaning my teeth. Since starting treatment with Dr. You and Laguna West I have not had a cavity and obviously no plaque buildup.The staff is friendly, professional, and gentle. I highly recommend the practice to anyone looking for a great dental experience.

Told them I had a dental emergency. They told me they close early on Fridays and tried to schedual for monday. What a great way to deal with an emergency.

Was a little nervous at first, as I am over 60. My dental cleaning was the best I have had at the office. Very thorough and no pain. The new dentist made an appt. for the exposed root from braces. I got in right away and he did a great job too. All of the Covid rules were clearly in place. My dentist looked like he had a hazmat suit on!!

I met Dr. Madavan, he’s very knowledgeable, I was very comfortable. He explained things very clearly. I’d only wish I had found this clinic sooner. Maybe I would not have these issues I am having now. I am excited to see what they can do for me to improve, as I am having gum issues, and some bone loss. I have been dealing with this for years, and my previous dentist never informed me of the things Dr. Madavan has told me. I needed more attention but yet my appointments with my previous dentist was always 6 months apart treated as a regular check up. I hope Dr. Madavan can help me. I am very excited!

I have enjoyed coming to Laguna West for many years, the team is always courteous and professional. My Hygienist is the best and always provides stellar service. This past visit I was taken aback by the vibe received from the new manager, when he came in and rather than say good morning or introduce himself to me he abruptly asked why the TV was not on, to which the response was the patient requested the TV not to be on, and he then promptly turned the TV on anyway and walked away. This behavior was rude and unacceptable with no regard to my request of keeping the TV off nor did he introduce himself. Poor service on his part and made me feel uncomfortable and not valued as a client. All other team members are excellent and personable. This incident as given me pause to consider other Dental offices. Team rates 5. the manager mentioned above rates 0.

All staff are friendly and professional. The dental care, equipment, and facility are excellent. I have been a client for several decades now. Anyone would be privileged to receive such service. My very recent crown replacement was 100 percent pain free! All phases of treatment, from removal of the old crown, mold taking and making, to the permanent placement with my brand new well-matched molar, was seamless. In my 50+ years, Ive probably had 7 to 8 dentists and have had my share of bad experiences that made me fearful of going to the dentist. But, after switching to Dr. Chan in 1991, I really couldnt be happier and dont dread dental appointments anymore. Dr. Chan is gentle and exceptionally good at giving shots that I can barely feel. He even calls me in the evening after every procedure to make sure Im doing okay. The staff is friendly and caring and the facilities are nice. Highly recommended.

Ive been going to Laguna West Dental for almost 20 years now. My first visit was an emergency broken jaw tooth. Dr. You took care of me with his usual high level of skill, competence and concern for my comfort! The staff there is also amazing! My grown kids still go to Dr. You, even though they no longer live in Elk Grove. My grandson now sees Dr. you too! :)

I have never understood why people say that they dread going to the dentist. My experience with Laguna West Dental Care and Dr. You and the entire LWDC staff has always been great. I am confident that I get the best care without various mark-ups and fancy add-ons, and I leave feeling like I have just had an excellent cleaning. My son (age 4) now comes here as well and he has no sense of dental phobia. :) I would recommend this dental practice to anyone.
